Ch 52 PLASMAAAAAAAAA
Helena quickly ran through the streets of Castelia, with the help of a familiar trainer. She finally caught up to the purple-haired girl. "Iris!"
"Axew, Axew!" The Tusk Pokemon pops out of Iris's hair, seeing Helena coming towards them. "Axew, Axew!" Axew pops on the other side of his trainer's hair, patting her shoulders.
Iris felt her Partner patting her shoulders, "What is it, Axew?" The Dragon-type points behind her. She saw Helena running over, seemingly out of breath.
Once the black-haired girl approached Iris, she apologizes to her for not keeping her pace. "Sorry about that Helena, when something really important I run off." Iris apologizes to the new trainer to Unova. "I just…it's just Team Plasma really boils my blood."
The Ability User nodded, getting what she means. "I had something similar happen to me back in Hoenn," Helena explains to the purple-haired girl. "I was first starting out as a Pokemon trainer and there was an incident with a Pokemon and after calming her down she became my Partner." She explains to the Dragon trainer.
Iris smiles at the nice story Helena shared about her and her Partner. "See? This is exactly why Team Plasma is wrong in so many ways about Pokemon and people." The Dragon trainer stated,
"I agree, but let's continue searching for their hideout for Bianca's Munna," Helena said, looking around their area.
"Right," Iris agrees to continue the search for Team Plasma.
"Axew!" The Tusk Pokemon, waving his little paw.
Suddenly, Iris's Rotom Phone rang, gaining both trainers' attention. The Dragon trainer took out her purple and blue striped Rotom Phone, "Hello?"
-ZZZ- Iris, this is Burgh; we've found where Team Plasma is hiding.-ZZZ- The Castelia Gym Leader informed the Dragon trainer and Helena, -ZZZ- You and Helena meet us near the Castelia Gym, -ZZZ-
"Got it, Burgh. We'll meet you there," Iris puts away her Rotom Phone before looking at Helena. "Seems like Burgh and Professor Juniper found where Team Plasma is hiding."
Helena nodded, "Yeah, let's head to the Castelia Gym." She stated, wanting to get there quickly.
"Axew! Axew!" Axew agrees with the new trainer, ushering Iris to run and help out Professor Juniper and Burgh.
"Alright, this way Helena!" Both Iris and Helena ran to the end of the street, going around to the Bug-type Gym.
The two young trainers rush around the City, heading towards the Gym. Once they arrived at the other side of the City, they saw both Burgh and Professor Juniper Battling on the streets.
It was good that the People and Pokemon were evacuated before they start Battling. "I see them," Helena points to the two, she then saw more Team Plasma Grunts coming out from the building beside them.
"And they look like they need some help," Iris stated, seeing they are outnumbered.

Professor Juniper held out her hand, "Minccino, use Play Rough on Purrloin!" The brunette ordered her Partner.
"Minccino!" A small grey Chinchilla-like Pokemon leaps into the air, pouncing on the Devious Pokemon.
"Dodge it, Purrloin!" A Grunt exclaims at his Partner, however, Purrloin wasn't quick enough to dodge the attack.
Minccino landed on Purrloin, snuggling up to her. "PURRLOIN!" The Fairy-type Move was Super Effective against the Dark-type Pokemon.
Professor Juniper smiles, seeing her Partner manage to take out one of the enemy's Pokemon. "Great job, Minccino!"
The other Grunt growls, "Sandile, help Purrloin by using Thrash on Minccino!" She shouted, taking the opportunity to strike while the Chinchilla Pokemon is distracted.
A crocodile-like Pokemon rushed forward, heading over to the Normal-type. "Sandile!" She leaps forward, about to strike the small Pokemon.
"My sweet Leavanny, intercept Sandile with Leaf Blade!" Burgh dramatically said to his Partner.
A tall green mantis-like Pokemon spun around as her mantids glowed a green hue. "Leavan…" Leavanny slashed Sandile before he could even touch Minccino.
"Minccino!" the Chinchilla Pokemon leaps back with Leavanny to their trainers.
"Excellent work, Leavanny." The brown-haired Gym Leader smiles, appraising his Partner.
The Bug/Grass-type Pokemon smiles at her Partner's work. "Leav,"
Professor Juniper nodded at Minccino, thanking her for her hard work. "You too, Minccino, you did great!"
Minccino turns around, raising her hands at Professor Juniper. "Minccino!"
"Purloin, return!"
"Sandile, you too!"
The Grunts called back their Pokemon, glaring at the two. "How dare you use your Pokemon-like tools. Team Plasma will liberate them from your hands!" One proclaims. "However, we won't do it alone." He smirks at the two, hearing many footsteps coming from behind them.
"PLASMAAAAAA!"
The two adults paused, hearing more of Team Plasma Grunts coming to the aid of their fellow members. "GO!" They released their Pokemon onto the streets, outnumbering both Minccino and Leavanny.
"Leavan…" The Nurturing Pokemon steps back, seeing how many Pokemon were there.
"Minccino…" The Normal-type joined the Bug-type Pokemon, feeling intimidated by the numbers Team Plasma has.
"Don't worry, Minccino. You can do it, I'm with you." Professor Juniper said to her Partner before her.
Burgh nodded to Leavanny, staring back at him. "Leavanny, I'm with you and so are Minccino and Professor Juniper." The Bug-type Gym Leader said to his Partner.
Leavanny and Minccino nodded, gaining levels of confidence from their trainers and allies with them.
"Go!" The Team Plasma Grunts ordered their Pokemon to attack the two.
A variety of Pokemon leaps into action, from Purrloin, and Patrat, to Sandile and Woobat.
"Axew, Dragon Rage!" A young female trainer cried out.
The Tusk Pokemon leaps from behind Burgh and Professor Juniper. "Ax…ew!" A blue Dragon shape beam released from Axew's mouth and blasted half of Team Plasma's Pokemon.
"Ponyta, use Dazzling Gleam!" Another voice spoke behind the two, tossing a Pokeball above them. The Pokeball released the Galarian Pokemon onto the City streets.
Ponyta neighs as her horn released a rainbow-colored light that spreads throughout the streets.
Most of Team Plasma's Pokemon were caught up in the Fairy-type Move,
"Gah!' A Grunt peered through his arm, seeing most of their Pokemon were out for the count. "Dang it, we have only ten Pokemon left!"
Helena and Iris quickly joined Professor Juniper and Burgh. "We've gotten here as fast as we can, Burgh." Iris looks at the Gym Leader of the City.
"Are you two okay?" Helena asked the two Adults next to them.
The brunette Professor nodded to Adam's Apprentice, smiling at her. "Yes, you just arrived in the nick of time, Helena, Iris." Aurea smiles at the two girls.
Burgh nodded, placing his hand on his chin. "Yes, if any second later then we'll be overwhelmed." He smirked at the two, "But of course, I have some tricks up my sleeve."
Ponyta and Axew look at the other two Pokemon, asking if they were okay. They both responded with happy cries.
The Team Plasma Grunts were taken aback by the sudden new appearance of a familiar Pokemon in Unova. "I-Is that a Ponyta? How come it's different from the ones we have seen." A female Grunt asked her fellow Team Plasma members.
"It's a Galarian form, that girl has brought her from her home Region!" A male Grunt shouted, causing the Grunts
"Liberate your Galarian Ponyta!" Another Grunt shouted, sending the remaining Pokemon after Helena's new Pokemon. "You stole her from her Region! Liberate all Pokemon from trainers!"
Helena steps forward, seeing Ponyta deny what these Grunts were saying. Even Leavanny and Minccino were denying what these people are saying.
"Don't you see? These Pokemon don't want you to liberate them!" Helena stated, understanding what they were saying, though not understanding their cries but their emotions. "They chose to Battle with us, travel with us, and live together."
Burgh, Iris, and Juniper step forward, standing with Helena. "Indeed, we gave our Pokemon a choice if they want to be our Partners." The Gym Leader stated,
Iris nodded, "Yeah, we don't disrespect their wishes unlike you who steal good trainers' Families!" The Dragon trainer stated.
"As a Researcher of Pokemon, I understand your viewpoints. But see things what Pokemon view our society." Professor Juniper added, "We both live in the same World, we will work together to ensure our World is protected, together."
The Pokemon agree with their trainers' stand, opposing Team Plasma's goals.
"Ha! You speak if you can understand them! Only our King can understand what Pokemon needs!" A Plasma Grunt responded to what Helena said.
One point to them, supporting what the other is saying. "Don't speak like you know what you were saying, girl." Another Plasma Grunt stated, "You are too young to understand what really is happening, and blinded by society on how Pokemon feels!"
"Go, show these arrogant fools what a true Partnership between Pokemon and Liberators is!" The Team Plasma Pokemon leaped into action. "Once we defeat you, we'll retrieve your Pokeballs and liberate them from their prison!"
"Think again! Pignite use Flamethrower!" Another voice shouted, this time behind the horde of Plasma Grunts.
Pignite leaps into the air, "Pignite!" He pulled back his head before letting out a strong Flamethrower at the Pokemon.
"Follow Pignite's lead, Leafeon with a Trailblaze!" A male's voice followed soon after behind the horde.
Leaping from the back, a pale yellow cat-like Pokemon with a green leaf-like tail and ears dash through the Grunts in a green grassy aura.
Leafeon cried gracefully as he dashed all over the street, taking out both Grunts and Pokemon alike.
"GAH!" The Grunts fell to the paved road, falling to both Pokemon attacks.
"Pignite!" The Fire Pig flexed his arms, proud that they were able to arrive in time.
The Verant Pokemon nodded to the Fire-type's comment as the other Pokemon approach them.
Helena saw Hilda, Professor Ceder, and Bianca run from the other side. "Professor Ceder!"
"Sorry we're late. We've taken the wrong turn," Hilda apologizes for their lateness. "But we made it,"
Professor Juniper chuckles, looking at the promising trainer. "I expect you would show yourself, Hilda, soon or later." The brunette stated.
"As they say, Aurea better late than never," Adam commented before noticing Bianca walks forward, looking around the area of the fallen Team Plasma members.
"I don't see Munna; did they already take her somewhere?" The worried blonde girl asked, looking at the people trying to help her.
Iris quickly approaches Bianca as Axew hops onto her shoulders. "Don't worry Bianca, we have just defeated the Grunts Team Plasma sent out." The Dragon trainer stated,
Hilda places her hands on her Childhood friend's shoulders, giving her an ensuring smile. "We'll storm right into their Base and rescue Munna for you," The brunette stated, wanting to save her friend's Pokemon. "That's a promise."
"That's right," Burgh stated as both Helena and Professor Juniper joined the Gym Leader. "As the Gym Leader of Castelia City, it's my duty to ensure that no crime will befall anyone, trainer and Pokemon alike."
Helena nodded before her eye caught someone leaving the building. "Everyone, someone's coming out of the building!" She informed the group.
Everyone looks at the building as a light green-haired man with a red monocle in a robe exited with two old men. One in a black robe and the other in brown.
(Insert Team Plasma Plots: Remastered ► Pokémon Black & White)
"My word, this is a rather large group." The green-haired man spoke in a deep voice. His red eyes gaze upon the people present outside of his base. "Three trainers, two Pokemon Professors, and Castelia's own Gym Leader, Burgh."
Helena didn't know why, but this man was terrifying to her. His appearance was intimidating to look at, even his piercing red eyes reminds her of someone but beyond his level other than fear. She took a deep breath and stood tall.
Ponyta senses her trainer's hidden emotions and promptly stood by her side.
"Oh? and what's this? A Galarian Ponyta, a rare Pokemon indeed." The Leader of Team Plasma chuckles, paying attention to Helena after a hard long look at her. "Young Lady, you remind me of my Son. Tell me, what is your name-"
Adam and Professor Juniper along with everyone else and their Pokemon steps in front of Helena. "She has the right not to introduce herself to you." The blue and blonde-haired Professor stated, protecting her from this man.
"That's right," Burgh can tell the Leader of Team Plasma gained an interest in Helena. An interest that is worrying considering what they have resorted to.
"My apologies, it seems I was too forthcoming," Ghetsis said, closing his eyes,
"Yeah, don't just talk to someone who doesn't know you!" Iris stated, also defending the black-haired Ability User.
The Pokemon agreed with the Dragon trainer, ready to fight if they have to.
The grey robe man growls, stepping at how brazen this girl was. "How insolent, do you know some manners girl!?" Bronius asked the purple-haired girl.
Iris smirks, placing her arms on her side. "Yeah I do, but to thieves like you? No,"
"You'll pay for your insolence to us, the Seven Sages of Team Plasma-"
Ghetsis held up his hand, stopping the Sage from going further. "Bronius, calm yourselves. This is a trivial matter." He stated with a smile. "Now, is there something you need?"
Professor Juniper steps forward with Bianca, her face was serious than ever. "I'm going to be blunt if you would give back this trainer's Munna." She stated,
"Ha, like we would. Munna has been liberated from your so-called care." The blue-robed man stated, refusing to oblige to the Professor's demands.
"Release the Munna, Gorm," Ghetsis ordered him.
Gorm was taken aback by Ghetsis's blunt order. "B-but Ghetsis, we just-"
"Now," Ghetsis stated, his voice more threatening this time.
The dark green-robed Sage flinched at the Leader's raised voice. Complying with Ghetsis's order, Gorm looks at the Grunts for them to release Munna from their custody.
The Grunts returned after retrieving Bianca's Pokemon from within the former Base.
"Here, take it." The Grunt huffs, handing the Pokeball to the blonde girl.
Bianca smiles, taking Munna's Pokeball from the Grunt. "Munna! I'm happy you're safe!" She quickly heads back to the group, stepping away from Team Plasma.
Team Plasma was peeved by the sight, holding to their beliefs firmly.
Ghetsis closes his eyes and turns around from the group. "Truly a sad sight, to see someone subjugate a Pokemon of its freedom by keeping it in Balls." He scoffs, signaling his group to follow. "No matter, Team Plasma will succeed in liberating Pokemon from people. Our King will find the Legendary Dragons, and all shall follow in his lead."
"You don't mean-" Hilda paused, seeing that Ghetsis smirks at her.
"We're abandoning this Base; it serves no purpose now that we have been found." The green-haired man stated.
The Grunts nodded, about to guide the Sages and him to the exit of Castelia City.
Helena and the others watch Team Plasma about to leave only to have Ghetsis turn to her. "I hope to see you soon, young Lady. And maybe perhaps you and I can talk more, Ability User to Ability User." He chuckles, leaving the group to their own devices.
(End Song)
After Team Plasma left, the group relaxed from the tension Team Plasma brought. Iris sighs, breaking the tension they were all feeling. "Talk about tense, I never felt that when other than studying for my exams." The Bug-type Gym chuckles.
"I know what you mean, so those people were Team Plasma." Professor Ceder said, looking at everyone. "No wonder you wanted me to come to Unova, I can see the situation you all were in."
Professor Juniper nodded, smiling at the blue and blonde-haired Professor. "Thank you for coming anyway, Adam. You have no idea how relieved Papa will be once we meet up with him." The brunette smiles at her Colleague.
Hilda looks over to Bianca, looking at her Pokeball. "Bianca, are you okay?" She asked her Childhood friend.
Bianca flinched a bit, hearing her name being called. "O-Oh, yes I'm okay, Hilda." The blonde girl approached Helena and Iris, smiling at them. "I want to thank you, no…" She turns to everyone, appreciating their help in finding her Pokemon.
"I want to thank everyone for helping me find Munna," Bianca said thanks to the trainers who were willing to go far and beyond for her.
"It's not a problem, if someone needs to help you have to help them," Helena stated, not minding helping the blonde girl find her friend.
Iris smiles before frowning at the thought of Team Plasma. "Team Plasma really have gone too far with their so call Liberation of Pokemon." The Dragon-type trainer commented, "I thought they were just going around the Region spreading their philosophy to others."
The purple-haired girl looks at the Dragon-type Pokemon in her hair, scratching under his chin. "Axew!" Axew cries happily from his trainer's tender scratch.
"Just what is Team Plasma after…I can't shake the feeling that they have other motives than spreading their beliefs." Burgh commented, pondering the facts they have gathered.
"Ghetsis mention the Legendary Dragons. I think they are searching for them." Hilda stated, remembering what the Leader of Team Plasma said,
Professor Juniper looks at Burgh and Professor Ceder, seeing things escalate to a point of concern. "Why don't we talk about this topic at the Pokemon Center," The brunette woman said, feeling this place isn't the right time to start talking.
"I agree with Aurea," Adam looks over to Bianca still holding Munna's Pokeball. "After all, Munna needs to be checked by Nurse Joy. I wouldn't want your Pokemon to suffer the repercussions of being stolen from you." The Professor stated,
Bianca nodded, taking Professor Ceder's advice to heart. "I think you're right, Professor. I want Munna to be okay after this ordeal." She commented.
Iris and Axew step forward, offering her service to the Rookie trainer. "I'll take you there, Bianca," She offered. "I'm sure you need a friend right about now. Right Axew?" She looks at the Tusk Pokemon in her hair.
"Axew!" The Dragon-type happily responded to her Partner's statement.
"Sure, thanks, Iris." Both Bianca and Iris head off to the Pokemon Center before the others.
Burgh stretches his arms behind his head before speaking. "Well, I better inform our League about this encounter," He said, having a duty to perform as the Gym Leader. He looks at Helena, smiling at her, "And Helena, I know it's short but it's lovely to meet you. See you around,"
The Gym Leader left, leaving only the two trainers and the two Professors in the streets. "Seems like things are calming down, let's head to the Pokemon Center, everyone." Professor Juniper said as they all follow her to the Center.
Once they arrived at the Pokemon Center, leaving their Pokemon in the care of Nurse Joy. Professor Juniper sat with everyone in the Center's café for the long-awaited chat.
(Insert Professor Juniper's Theme: Remaster ► Pokémon Black & White)
"Well, that was something we've encountered." The brunette Professor stated, lightening the mood. "I honestly didn't expect we run into trouble with Team Plasma in Castelia City." She said with a smile.
Professor Ceder chuckles, taking a sip of the coffee he'd ordered. "We didn't expect it either, Aurea. But I kinda figured this might happen when we arrived." The blue and blonde-haired Professor commented.
The brunette Professor cleared her throat, gazing over to Helena for a proper introduction. "So sorry, since things were moving so fast, I haven't introduced ourselves." Professor Juniper stated, placing her hand on her chest.
"I am Unova's leading Pokemon Professor, Aurea Juniper. I heard a lot about you Helena from Adam." The Pokemon Professor stated, motioning her hands to the young girl next to her. "This trainer here is Hilda White, she's a trainer who's aiming to challenge the Pokemon League."
The dark brunette trainer smiles at Helena after the Professor introduces her. "Nice to meet you," Hilda greeted the black-haired girl.
Helena nodded, "It's nice to meet you, Hilda, my name's Helena Potter. Professor Ceder's Apprentice and Assistant." She introduces herself to the two.
"I'm happy that you lend your help today with Bianca." Hilda thanked the Ability User, starting a conversation with her. "I gotta say, I've heard of Ponyta before, but I didn't expect one to be different from what people say it looks."
"Ponyta and I met when both me and the Professor were in the Galar Region. She came with me since she has taken a liking to me." Helena explains the story of how she came across Ponyta. "Some friends and I were lost when Ponyta shows up. I ask her if she could help us find the town and she did."
Hilda nodded, liking to hear how trainers and Pokemon met. "Wow, so you're like N. He can speak to Pokemon as you do." She compares the similarities between them.
Helena shook her head, fully aware that most Ability Users can speak to Pokemon. "It's more like…I can tell what a Pokemon is saying. But there are certain types of Pokemon I can understand." She corrected the misunderstanding with Hilda.
"Oh, sorry."
Adam smiles at the two girls pulling it off like they were friends already. He then gets serious and looked at his Colleague. "Aurea, how's Cedric? I didn't hear from him since his Lab was-"
"You know Papa, Adam. He's here and there, never in one place." Aurea said nonchalantly, knowing what her Father is like. "It's fortunate that he wasn't there and keeps his Research on him at all times. Team Plasma will have a hard time searching for that,"
Helena looks at the two Professors, seeing how they know each other more than just Colleagues. "You two must be really good friends if you're talking about Professor Juniper, I mean Professor Juniper's Dad…wow that's confusing." She said to herself,
"Have you two known each other for long?" Hilda asked the two Professors.
Professor Juniper and Ceder laugh before he answers the dark brunette's question. "You can say that Hilda," Adam answered the young trainer.
"Fun fact, we used to date when he studied here in Unova." Aurea chuckles, remembering that time when they were younger.
"Wait…WHAT!?"
