The Raid on Coaminhe

It has been nearly 2 months(57 days) after the harrowing victory at the 2nd Battle of Ploúsio Fagitó; During that time the G.R.F.* was able produce and assigned their new ships(2 Battlestars(Andromeda class), 2 cruisers(Araon class), 2 destroyers(Kara Thrace class) and 2 more Flattop ships(Anastasia class) and the fighter support(290 of the latest vipers.) to the 2nd attack fleet* under the command of Admiral Jessica Marcos; Most recently the G.R.F. intelligence services have revealed some troubling news on the Cylons. They G.R.F. military High command has read the troubling intelligence reports from their intelligence services have revealed that on Coaminhe, a former G.R.F. colony now under Cylon control; They have learned from their stealth scout raptors dispatched by their military intelligence observed a new, unknown Cylon ship on Coaminhe, surrounded by troops and equipment; Concerned by the potential threat, the G.R.F. high command authorized a military raid on the Cylon forces to eliminate as many troop transports as possible.

The G.R.F. military intelligence have been sending stealth scout raptors to Coaminhe from see the usual activate from the Cylons. The discovered a new unknown Cylon ship* to them. As the G.R.F. organize their raiding forces the Cylons have a defensive fleet of 8 Basestars along with 3,712 raiders to protect their operation on Coaminhe.

Location: 700 Light-years away from the Coaminhe system

As the G.R.F. raiding fleet approached Coaminhe and were going to do their last FTL Jump to Coaminhe, Admiral Marcos overseeing the coordinated maneuvers of the fleet and of her fleet's ships in their battle formation on DRADIS Radar; Admiral Marcos turned her attention to her fleets communications officer Lt. Ronald Justin and ordered to her communications officer and in a calm commanding tone "Lt. Justin* set up a radio frequence channel across the fleet for all my fellow captains and commanders to receive."

In respond Lt. Justin just nodded and after a few seconds in a calm and acknowledged tone "Fleet wide Radio frequence channel open, Admiral."

Admiral Marcos just nodded in gratitude and push her command centers broadcaster and speaker buttons and in a calm commanding tone "All ships, raise shields, have all weapon systems ready to fire right away after we jump into the Coaminhe system. Justin just nodded and after a minute in a somewhat calm and moderately nervous tone "According to DRADIS we have 8 Cylon Basestars in the system in some type of defensive formation; Admiral they have launched raiders and are on their way to intersect our recon raptors and on a collusion curious with our Viper forces."

Admiral Marcos in an acknowledged and commanding tone "Understood, Lt., signal the raptors to continue on their recon missions but be very careful and try to avoid direct contact with the enemy; We still need then out there to help us in this raid."

Lt. Justin in a calm acknowledged tone "Yes, Admiral."

Both the G.R.F. raiding fleet and Cylon fleets moved into position weapons primed and launching their fight forces to engage with each other. As the Capital ships over both sides began to engage each other the 1st wave of the G.F.R. vipers where just making contact with the Cylon raiders Colonel Rachel Sanchez surveyed the tactical display DRADIS aboard her Viper and fixed her eyes on the incoming Cylon Raiders and in commanding tone to all her viper forces "Stay focused, everyone stay with your wingman or woman and target the raiders."

Lt. Alexei Petrov*, her second-in-command and wingman flew right next to her viper to which Colonel Sanchez turned her attention to her and saw him nodding in acknowledgment. Lt. Petrov in a calm acknowledged tone "Roger that, Colonel. Forming up on your wing now."

Colonel Sanchez in a calm commanding and somewhat nervous tone "Kingsnake 1, Box 2."

Lt. Petrov followed suit and in a calm and somewhat nervous tone "Kingsnake 2, Box 1."

As the rest of the 1st wave of G.R.F. Vipers fired their missiles and saw most of their missiles hit their targets the space around them became a battleground, explosions lighting up the darkness as the vipers maneuvered with precision.

Colonel Sanchez locked onto an approaching Raider, her fingers tight on the controls and a calm focused tone to herself "Come to momma.(After that she squeezed the trigger, sending a volley of missiles streaking towards her target. The Raider exploded in a brilliant flash of light, but more were closing in on her tail to which she saw on her tactical radar and she began evasive maneuvers but she saw on her radar that the raider was still on her tail and now in concerned tone to her wingman.) Kingsnake 2 where are you a little help here, I can't shake them off my tail."

Lt. Petrov in a calm and focused tone "Hold on just a split-second Colonel I got your back, Box 3." After she said her missile hit the enemy raider and it's wing was blown in half.

Colonel Sanchez in a grateful calm tone "Thank you, Lt. Petrov."

Lt. Petrov in calm acknowledgement "Your welcome Colonel I always have your back; However, you do owe me a drink for that."

Colonel Sanchez in calm and amused tone "I'll get you that drink if we survive this raid battle in 1 piece."

The G.R.F. Vipers continued their assault, their weapons blazing as they engaged the relentless tide of enemy fighters. Together, they fought with courage and determination, their Vipers dancing through the chaos of space as they engaged the relentless tide of enemy fighters.

Explosions blossomed in space as ships on both sides succumbed to the relentless onslaught.

"Keep pushing forward we must neutralize those troop transports!" Admiral Marcos urged, her determination unwavering.

With grit and determination, the G.R.F. fleet pressed on, targeting the remaining Cylon troop transports with relentless firepower. Despite fierce resistance, they managed to destroy a significant portion of the enemy's ground forces. As the battle drew to a close with a G.R.F. victory Admiral Marcos surveyed and got reports from her ship captains and commanders on the status of their ships in the aftermath from the bridge of her flagship.

She saw the damage to her ships(2 battlestars in various states of damage with 1 moderately damage and another 1 minorly damaged.), 1 carrier(suffering light damage), 2 destroyers(1 moderately damage and another 1 minorly damaged.); 2 cruisers(1 moderately damage and the another 1 minorly damaged.), 2 of Flattop ships(1 moderately damaged and another 1 Minorly damaged.); He saw his fleet's flattop ships doing their jobs in repairing the damaged ships. She saw that her fleet lost a 1 cruiser(Aaron Kelly class) and 2 flattop ships(Anastasia Bulla class) and roughly 1/4(25.674%= 371 Vipers lost.) of her viper forces in battle but fortunately most the pilots of the vipers were rescued in time and lived to fight another day.

After checking the status of her fleet saw heard from Lt. Justin that 13 Cylon troop transports managed to escape the system in various states of damage; She was well heard from him that the Cylon resurrection ship has managed to escape the system as well but not before taken moderately damaged from her Viper forces. And with that, the G.R.F. fleet spend the next hour in the arduous task of regrouped and then jumped out of the Coaminhe system before any possible Cylon reinforcements; As well to prepare for the next phase of the conflict against the relentless Cylon threat.

*Lt. Ronald Justin: Ronald Justin born and raised on the G.R.F. planet: Klaus; Ronald Justin grew up in a tight-knit community that valued education and service. Rachel was eventually assigned to a viper squadron, where she became known for her fearless and aggressive flying style. Her fleet commanding officer recognized her potential and recommended her for the position of squadron leader when he retired. Rachel's dedication and determination earned her the respect of her fellow pilots, and she was eventually promoted to the rank of Colonel.

*Lt. Alexei Petrov: Alexei Petrov was born on the G.R.F. planet: Atlanta where he grew up in a military family. His father was a respected military officer, and Alexei idolized him from a young age. He followed in his father's footsteps and joined the G.R.F. military as soon as he was old enough. Alexei quickly proved himself to be an exceptional pilot and was assigned to a viper squadron where he was known for his calm demeanor and precise flying. Alexei was eventually promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and became one of the Kingsnake squadron's most skilled pilots.
