FA/N: If you want to know what the 'more realistic' Pokémon in Truth and Lies look like, a good place to start would be Joshua Dunlop's art. You can find it at "joshuadunlop (d0t) art stat ion (d0t) c0m." ... Ffnet is getting more annoying with their filters. He's done most of the first 151, and a couple extras (Espeon and Umbreon come to mind), plus his art is amazing in general. Worth a look.
Also, if you like this story or any of my other stories, please consider supporting me on SUB SCRIBE STAR dot ADULT slash KajaWilder. I can only continue my current (or faster) pace of updates if I can pay my bills. I'm not there yet, but I'm definitely getting closer. If you think about how much enjoyment you get out of a movie- about two hours worth of fun- for $10-20- you are getting far greater value by supporting a writer like myself. If even one in twenty people that read this supported me on Sub Star at any level, I would be able to easily continue focusing on writing more... and you could read more. I'm going to keep writing anyway. But the pace would be and will be a lot faster if you can spare a few dollars monthly. My lowest tier isn't even a small drink at a theater, any more. Is it worth it? Is it worth it to you? If so, then please support me.
Of course, you can ALSO find more of the same stories there. I post everything on this site at least a week after it's posted on SubStar, so if you want more and don't want to wait, well... there you go.
That's enough out of me, though. Enjoy!
CHAPTER NOTE: YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY READ THIS. It's a repost. I apparently missed last chapter, so if you got an alert for this one but have not read the chapter titled HARD ROCK TIMES, you should go BACK one and read it. It's all my fault, though I'm not sure how it happened. This chapter's contents have not changed. It is, as will all chapters going forward, be a little shorter though (they are equivalent in word-count to a novel chapter, more or less, rather than THREE TO FIVE as they have been). Burnout's a bitch. lol
Chapter 22
Underfoot, not Underground
Elle relished the feeling of the thick, silky-smooth, rock-hard cock between her legs. She was naked, just like she had fallen asleep after Alex had gone down on her in the bedroom after their shared shower. She hadn't been able to suck him off again the night before after the hot tub, but he had fingered her to one orgasm in the shower, then tossed her petite, slender body onto the bed, still dripping, and shoved his head between her legs.
Tasting her orgasm on her lips had made her feel insatiably slutty, desperate for more, but she was simply too tired to continue. The slog through northern Viridian Forest had been horrendous, and doing it at a near-run, sleepless, had been worse. Yes, they had both enjoyed the hot tub, the shower, and a little bit of foreplay before falling asleep. Of course they had, they were young (ish), in love (ish), and all that. But even if Alex had been sporting an erection again, he had actually heaved a sigh of relief when she asked if he minded that they just sleep after that.
But that was the night before.
This morning, she had woken up about half an hour before Alex had, so Elle had slipped into the shower to rinse off the sweat she had accumulated after the shower from the night before and, of course, her overnight body odor, which was minimal, thankfully.
Then she had straddled Alex's morning wood, careful not to put his cock-head anywhere near her entrance, and started riding. That had been about five minutes ago. Ten seconds or so in, her almost-lover had started moaning and put one hand on her waist, gripping it lightly to help guide her motions. She had thought he was awake then, but Alex had grunted and smacked his lips, muttered something unintelligible, and continued the relatively slow, even breathing of a sleeping person.
He was breathing faster now, and the member she was sliding her juicy pussy along was throbbing every five or six seconds, so about as fast as she was slowly stroking up and down it. He was close to orgasm, she thought, because the older man had a habit of flexing his PT muscles for about a minute before he climaxed. It fit her earlier research, too: many men did it to increase their pleasure, timing the flex with their pumping in the same way a woman would tighten their own pussy to increase pleasure.
It worked both ways, after all. Elle only wished she could let him feel what it was like inside her as she flexed her own, but that was just not going to happen, it seemed. Not yet, anyway.
They had to have a badge, first. Today would not be that day, either.
The blonde had been thinking, planning, while she ground her young pussy onto her companion's dick, and she thought she had something worked out. Rock was the element of 'endurance', despite having more type weaknesses (especially when paired with its most common double-typing, Ground) than any other Type. It was a pretty defensive type stat-wise, and often slow, but also hit pretty hard physically. The few Rock-Types that had higher 'special' attack abilities were pretty good, if she remembered right, but those Pokémon were as rare as moves that took advantage of it.
High defense against physical attacks- rock-hard meant what it did for a reason, after all- would make many of their Pokémon less effective. Spike, Lingus, Cock, and Nike from her own team would be... well, all-but useless. Their Bug-Types, weaker and less well trained, though they weren't defenseless, would be even more vulnerable thanks to the weakness they had against Rock. Nike had the same issue, and Cock would be hard-pressed to do much because almost all Rock-Types had the Ground-Type as well, so they would be resistant to his toxins, his physical abilities, and quite effective at dealing damage to him with Ground moves. The Fire Types would be dangerous to use too, because Rock and Ground would both be very good against them.
Yes, he had Double Kick, and hit pretty hard when he used it, but against stone-like skin, she wasn't sure how effective it would be, and the others would be almost useless.
That wasn't saying they didn't have a way to win, though.
Both had a Grass-Type, both had a Water-Type, and both had at least one other Pokémon that should be, at least, mostly Type-Neutral against Rock and Ground both. Sappy, Gobbler, Squirt, and Shooter might, might be enough to carry the day against their first Gym.
But she doubted it.
Nadine Minier might well have been a 'gear check' type of 'boss', in this highly realistic game, but Elle also suspected that other Gym Leaders performed the same function for all Trainers without a Badge of their own. It's what she would do, at any rate.
So they needed something more. An edge. More Type-Advantage, probably, but something else if possible on top of that. She was loathe to switch out too much of her team just to get more of a Type bonus, but it might be necessary to switch out one or two sometimes. Would it really be so bad? No, she concluded, not as long as she mostly stuck with her favorites, the current battle team.
Alex, she was sure, felt the same way. He was a bit more practical than her, so maybe he would mind less, but she still thought he'd rather keep it to a minimum. So... perhaps one new Pokémon to rotate out, likely their Fire Types. Both of them were at or above the others for highest level anyway, and could afford to lose out on a bit of experience. What to replace them with...? Elle didn't know.
She couldn't think straight- not right now.
She had a cock to orgasm all over, after all.
"Mmrff... rh... ealhhy good," Alex murmured, his head rolling to the other side for a moment as his hips bumped, "fahster, baaabyyy..."
Elle grinned down at the stubbled jawline he presented, "Oh, you want me to go faster, baby? Alright... I'm glad you're feeling good, baby."
She sped up, and moved one hand up to splay over Alex's lower ribs, twisting her torso a little to maintain her balance with the other hand on his thigh as she ground back and forth quickly. The change in pressure, in direction, and speed made her moan, but it was also enough to make Alex wake up fully.
"Oh, that's... wh- what the...? Oh... shit, Elle, I was... dreaming I... fuck. Fuck... I'm so close!"
"Then cum," she urgd him softly, "'Cause I'm really close t-too. Just a few more... ugh... seconds."
"You're so wet and soft," he murmured, and Alex's eyes closed again as she felt his body start to tense up. His free hand moved up too, slapping down over the flexing muscle of her thigh. "It's too good- can't hold it back!"
"Then don't," Elle groaned, "cum for me, Alex! I want to feel your cock pulse as you spurt all over! I want to grind it into my skin, and let it mix with my squirt before I lick it up! Cum, Alex! Cum!"
With a final grunt and several strong, powerful jerks of his pelvis that threw Elle off-balance, into the air, and then forward so that she fell over him, narrowly avoiding face-to-face impact, he did. Elle was acutely aware, despite her yelp of surprise as she was thrown forward and down, that his semen was splattered between them, a hot, sticky mess that would have burned her (or so she felt), if her lower body wasn't already so heated from passion and lust. The third, fourth, and fifth spurts, successively weaker, left a thick, growing puddle between them as the upper half of Alex's dick was stuck beneath her abdomen.
His arms came around her waist then, and he gave a few half-hearted, almost languid thrusts between them with his slowly softening dick. Then, into her ear, he murmured, "You smell like you just showered. Now you need another one."
"I'm leaving it," she informed him, "but I'm cleaning you up- in a minute."
Her own body was still shaking and trembling from its climax, and the girl, despite being as aroused as ever though fully satisfied (which was a weird combination to be, she decided lazily as she sat back up on her companion's semen- and squirt-covered stomach, giving her twat a slow gyration on his hard abs to grind it into her flesh a bit. Then she scooted down, and sucked the tip of his head between her lips. With a single fingertip she pushed the last dollops up his penis, licking it as it swelled to the top, then licked, and moved her mouth, and licked, then started suctioning until she had every drop of Alex's and her own fluids either in her mouth, or caking the area between her legs and inner thighs.
When she was done, Elle grinned again and hopped off the bed, heading for the shower. "There's three towels left- you get one. And last one in is a rotten Lucky Egg!"
After a hearty Miltank Steak and Dodrio Egg breakfast burrito for each of them, the pair spent two hours wandering the Pokémon-centered shopping district near the heart of Pewter's downtown area. The place was very utilitarian in design compared to Viridian, but Alex felt he rather liked it overall. The streets were laid out in a grid for the most part, only occasionally ending in anything but a four-way intersection, or yielding to a particularly stubborn hill or terrain feature. The steepest areas of the valley walls at the edges of the city to the east and south had their through-ways switchback a few times before turning into what looked almost like hiking trails beyond the last large houses (no doubt the homes of Pewter's wealthier citizens, much like their own world had in the times before the Mega-Cities).
Each area of the center of town was devoted to different purposes, however, with a mostly logical set-up. At the very heart of the valley-bound city were the civic offices, a major hospital, and tourist destinations, including the Pewter City Natural History Museum. There was even a large, tree-filled park that was equally dotted with artificial, or at least carved, rock formations in equal number to the flora for the native Pokémon of the area to roost on or climb. And roost they did. Elle was quick to point out to Alex that there were just as many Flying-Type Pokémon as there were Rocks in the park.
East of the city center itself was the market district for non-Pokémon shopping. It sported several strip malls, and even a large, six-story shopping center that reminded Alex of the ones that were reported to exist in Celadon and Saffron cities, but more reminded him of the modern shopping arcades in Pacific. South of that was the Pokémon Market, where they spent most of their liquid funds buying more food, treats, and medicines for their teams along with an even dozen more Pokéballs each.
Southwest was a smaller office district, which rivaled the city center for taller buildings, sporting true skyscrapers by the dozen. It was only a few blocks on a side, but if he had to guess Alex would say that nearly a third of the city's daytime workforce- at least outside the mines and quarries- were employed there.
The remainder around the center of town, from west to north, was industrial. Mostly light, with warehouses and small manufacturing plants. But the entire north half of the city was heavier industry, from vehicle manufacturing plants to heavy machinery builders, smelting plants, refineries, and huge warehouses that covered entire residential blocks in a single building. Only one large, twenty-lane road moved straight through, with ten lanes for each direction of traffic. Two, the outer ones, were devoted to regular traffic with a foot-path on either side, while the rest seemed constantly filled with massive tractor-trailer combinations, wheeled trains that needed no tracks, dump-trucks, or flatbeds that hauled massive blocks of stone or containers of ore down from the mountains.
Overhead, altocumulus clouds scudded across the sky, promising rain in the next day or two, but as the pair explored the city the day remained warm and pleasant. Elle explained her plan to Alex, and he put out a few suggestions of his own. Shortly after noon, restocked and ready to rest, the pair spent an evening actually acting like the couple they were.
Their Pokémon had been in the Pokémon Center at the southern entrance of Pewter for nearly twenty-four hours when they went to pick them up, but aside from Loki and Cock, the majority stayed in their balls as Elle and Alex went on an actual date.
It wasn't anything too fancy, they had spent most of their money on supplies and hadn't spent a day training with the crowd outside town yet, so they were getting a little poor. In fact, though Elle had suggested they do that, Alex pointed out one fact: The group training there were the ones who'd failed. He had noticed it on the way into town the day before, no one had a Badge. No NPC, no player Trainer, no one in the field to the south. It suggested to him, at least, that the Trainers there- while perhaps capable overall- were not 'up to scratch'. If they wanted to be above the rest, then they had to practice against the best.
That had lead her, between dinner and a movie out of Unova, a rather silly thing about a masked hero who just happened to be a sixteen year old Trainer named Rosa in 'real life'- to look up and find that there were indeed resources for skilled Trainers to practice aside from just in the fields.
There were mine-tours. Guided and unguided, depending on preference, one could wander through the less- or unused sections of a mine and train against whatever workers happened to be there, or wild Pokémon which often moved back in after the majority of the ore in an area had been removed.
To both of them, it sounded like an excellent plan. They just had to execute it. Of course, they weren't in a particular hurry, but they were tired.
One more night of rest in a Pokémon Center, this time the most lavish suite the central (and northernmost) PMC had between the industrial and civic quarters of the city. Yes, that sounded like just the ticket, and then they could go back to training their Pokémon as well as they could in the mines.
Nearly midmorning, just before ten according to Alex's watch, the two stepped past the ticket counter- another forty 'dollars' each to get in, which brought the couple even closer to bankruptcy- had the pair stepping underneath a massive, yellow-painted girder archway that held a massive cliff high overhead. Gronten Mountain, according to the tour pamphlet Elle carried while Alex kept a lookout, was the historical site of the first modern mine in Pewter. It had first been mined in ancient times, and then again and again as new technologies and stronger Pokémon allowed the miners to extract more and more ore from deeper in the earth. Now, the tunnels stretched nearly a mile and a half downward, and spanned fifteen or more miles on a side. Exact counts were hard with even modern sonar and distance-measuring technology, but it was definitely the largest mine in Pewter, and most likely the largest in all Kanto. There was a good chance, in fact, that it was the largest in the world, with only the mines of Mount Moon, which had been closed for decades to protect the Clefairy line's only significant habitat on the continent, coming close.
Shortly beyond the entrance, faded parking lines denoted where once-massive fleets of vehicles moved ore out of the mountain alongside regular rock, all fed by a complex network of conveyor belts that must have been connected to twenty or more sorting stations by weight, all of automated. Most were shut down now, but some trickles still moved here and there, dropping into one waiting vehicle or transport container, each supervised by a Pokémon or two, or a human, or a Pokémon-human pair. According to the guide, the area was safe and most of the workers here were free to talk and chat, but they were not permitted to be distracted by battle. Only deeper in the mine, where no one was put at risk but the miners and battlers themselves, was it allowed.
It seemed counter-intuitive to Alex, but he supposed they were the experts.
On they went, accompanied by their Starters of course, but also Squirt, Shooter, Gobbler, and Sappy. Each of them could benefit from the experience, especially against Rock-Types, but Loki was extremely difficult to get into his ball at the best of times, and the Nidoran didn't like it much, either, so both preferred to stay out.
Maybe it was a trait of Starters in general? Most people had their likely first Pokémon out all the time. There were, Alex noticed, a few other Trainers going in and out of the mine too. Trainers like them, who had been willing and able to pay the fee to get more than the run-of-the-mill practice, training, and experience.
But only a few.
The second 'level' of the Gronten Mine Tour was more than a half-mile inside the mountain, to the right down a side passage whose main was blocked off. "Not Part of the Tour. Mine Workers Only Past This Point," a sign read, and a large, four-armed Machamp guarded the barricades, giving them a wary eye as they approached. Its lower arms, each as large as Alex's thighs with even bigger, thicker upper ones, folded over its chest as they turned into the side passage with a smaller sign that read, "Tour This Way. Battles available beyond this point."
Fortunately, the path was rather easy to follow: it only went one way, a long, spiraling downward drop that occasionally noted "Level Three," or, "Level Four," after they had gone, according to the compass feature of the Pokégear, two full circles. On the outside edge of the path was a mine-cart track just a little too small for a mechanized cart, and the sconces of old torches, long since emptied, still hung from the ceiling overhead, just out of Elle's reach in the inside of the spiral.
They did not see an Pokémon until they reached "Level Six," however, when the corkscrew tunnel ended. It was not hard to predict what: A single GeoDude.
Elle reacted fastest, sending Squirt forward with a hissed command, "Water Gun."
Also predictably, the double Type weakness sent the GeoDude packing quickly, with a single Bubble Beam trailing after it as it turned tail and ran.
Elle celebrated her victory with an arm-pump, but it was the last moment she had to cheer before four more GeoDude, two Machop, and a strange, mole-like creature appeared out of the darkness, the last from the ground at their feet. For the most part, they looked furious at being disturbed.
"Don't they get traffic?" Alex cried out as he ordered his team forward, "You'd think they were used to fighting! Shooter, Water Pulse! Sappy, start off with a Mega Drain- we haven't got time to play around with this many!
The next four hours passed in a blur of chaos and combat. There was nothing like the massive swarms that had come at them one after another in Viridian Forest, but individually the Pokémon in Gronten Mine's middle reaches were far stronger. During a brief respite, Elle was able to pull out her Pokédex and scan through the data of the Machop, GeoDude, and- what the hell was a Diglett?
A pure Ground-Type apparently, fast and hard-hitting, but a bit of a glass cannon. Nothing either was tempted to use, though the perverted teen chuckled that the brown-furred creature had a high Prowess Rating of thirty-six for some reason.
Their average Battle Rank was eighteen. Six or seven higher than most of the Viridian Bug, Grass, or Flying Types.
It was... an interesting fight. Not quite a running battle, but it seemed like they couldn't go more than a hundred feet before four or six Pokémon attacked them at once, often of mixed groups.
At least the once-ubiquitous Zubat seemed to have been driven from the mine long ago. Those pests would have been annoying.
Unfortunately, aside from perhaps that first Diglett, the pair didn't find a Pokémon they wanted to take to the Rock Gym. Not that the ones they had captured were useless. Far from it, if one wanted a defensive Pokémon. It was simply that neither Elle, who preferred speed and tactics, wasn't suited to the style they would require, and Alex, though he did lean toward defense as a style, didn't want to try and beat a Rock-Type specialist at their own game.
It seemed like a good way to fail.
By the time the pair reached a ramp with a sign that read, "To Level Seven," they were tired and scratched, and their best Pokémon for the mine were getting tired, too. But they weren't out yet, and both had secret hopes of finding a winner.
If only they could find that one, special Pokémon that would make their day.
Neither noticed the colossal stone foot coming down on their position as they stepped out into the entry cavern for the eighth and final level of the 'tour' area until it was too late.
