Chapter 2- the Doctor meets Nick Fury

As the Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS onto the moon base, he was immediately struck by the sight of the Skrulls milling about, going about their daily tasks. The Doctor marveled at the advanced technology and the bustling atmosphere of the base. He was soon approached by a female Skrull named Pave, who introduced herself and offered to show him around.

Pave led the Doctor through the base, pointing out various areas of interest and explaining the Skrulls' way of life. The Doctor listened intently, his curiosity piqued by the alien culture he was witnessing. As they walked, the Doctor couldn't help but notice the sadness in Pave's eyes.

"What's wrong, Pave?" the Doctor asked, concern evident in his voice.

Pave hesitated for a moment before answering. "We Skrulls have been searching for a new home for years now, but we haven't had any luck. Our planet was destroyed by forces beyond our control, and we have been forced to wander the galaxy in search of a safe haven."

The Doctor's hearts went out to Pave and her people. He knew all too well the pain of losing one's home, having been forced to leave Gallifrey himself. Determined to help, the Doctor turned to Pave and made her a promise.

"I will do everything in my power to help you find a new home, Pave. The Skrulls deserve a chance to rebuild and thrive once again," the Doctor declared.

"Nick Fury, it's a pleasure to see you again. I see you're here to help the Skrulls as well," the Doctor remarked.

Nick Fury nodded, his expression serious. "The Skrulls are in desperate need of assistance, Doctor. We're working together to find them a suitable planet to call home. With your expertise and experience, I believe we can make this happen."

The Doctor's eyes sparkled with excitement. He was always eager to help those in need, and the Skrulls were no exception. He knew that working with Nick Fury would only increase their chances of success.
