The show starts with the ending of Havok at the Chase as The Meredith Twins hit Ed with the Gateway and Josh picking up the pin. It cuts to Ed and Double D hugging it out before Eddy launch's his assault on his childhood friends. The video ends as it cuts to the opening of Mayhem to the tone of Never Gonna Stop (Red, Red Kroovy) by Rob Zombie, afterwards the camera cuts to the arena as Green and black pyro goes off.
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the inaugural episode of GVWL Saturday Evening Mayhem. My name is Nathan Spade, and I'm joined by the newest member of the GVWL commentary desk, Jason Long. Jason, are you excited?" Nathan says, turning to his partner at the desk.
"I'm more excited than a turkey at the white house around Thanksgiven." Jason says with a southern accent.
"I don't get it, is that a Texas thing?"
"Not really." The two turn their attention to the audience as a small advert for the main event pops up.
"And remember, tonight's main event sees Phineas Flynn defend his GVWL World Heavyweight Championship against one half of the Tag Team Champions in Josh Meredith." It shows another advert for a women's match between Maka and Blake. "Team RWBY's Blake Belladonna is in action for the first time since the Alcatraz match at Patriotic Punishment as she faces Maka Alburn of the DWMA." The camera cuts to the stage as Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones plays and Black Jack comes out. "But first, it's the opening match."
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is set for one fall, introducing first, he is the star of the future, Black Jack." Alex says as Black Jack slides into the ring and poses in the corner as King of my World by Saliva plays and Masamune steps out from behind the curtain. "And his opponent, from Metal Bey City Japan, Masamune Kadoya." Masamune joins Black Jack in the ring as the bell rings. The two tie up and Masamune shoves him off into the ropes and looks for a big body drop, but Black Jack does a whole ass front flip over him, to the amazement of the crowd, and Masamune's confusion.
"Little bit of showmanship from our resident luchia specialist." Nathan says as they tie up again, this time Black Jack taking the back, Masamune hits the ropes and uses his momentum to get in a roll up attempt.
1…2… Black Jack kicks out. They get up and Black Jack charges Masamune, but Kadoya ducks and looks for a rolling neck breaker, but Black Jack counters and looks for one himself, but Masamune again counters and they end up hitting each other with one.
"I don't think that's how that was meant to end Nate." Jason comments as Nathan can be heard giggling. Both men kip up, with Masamune hobbling one leg for a second, with Black Jack seemingly not noticing. Black Jack goes for a kick to Masamune's head, but he ducks and tries for a German Suplex, but Black Jack flips out of it. Masamune rolls onto his shoulders, puts his feet to the sides of Black Jack's head, grabs his hands, and uses his strength to flip himself upright and hits a bulldog. "What athleticism is on display here to start us off." Jason says, matching the excitement the crowd must be feeling after seeing that exchange.
"The Cruiserweights always pull out all the stops when they get a spotlight, Jason. Especially the former Champion Masamune there." Nathan responds as Black Jack rolls over onto his back. Masamune sees this and hits a Unicorn Sault and pins.
1…2… kick out just after two. Masamune gets up with a small grin and grabs his legs, looking for the walls. Black Jack starts to punch the bad calf of Masamune, and uses the opportunity to flip him out of the submission attempt. As Masamune recovers, Black Jack runs up and hits a package Pile-driver.
"The Package Pile-driver, Black Jack might have it here." Nathan says as Black Jack goes for the pin.
1…2… Masamune kicks out. Black Jack gets on one knee and thinks of his next move. He notices the perfect positioning to the ring post, and makes his way to the top rope.
"Looks like Black Jack is going high risk here Jason." Nathan says as Black Jack points to the sky.
"Yep, he's looking to fly faster than a hound-dog at a barbeque." Jason adds as Black Jack crosses his heart.
"Again with the odd phrases." Black Jack leaps off the post, looking for the Blackened Skies corkscrew moonsault, but Masamune hops up at the last second to counter with a Code Striker and pins.
1…2… Black Jack manages to kick out just before three. Masamune pleads with the ref over the count as Black Jack sneaks in a pin.
1…2… Masamune reverses into another pin.
1…2… Black Jack does the same.
1…2… Masamune again.
1…2… Black Jack kicks out and ends the pin combo. The two get up and Black Jack hits a hurricanrana into the ropes.
"Looks like it's time to call up the most famous Luchador of all time." Nathan says as Black Jack hits the ropes.
"Yeah, the code is 61- uh oh." Jason adds as Black Jack looks for the Tiger Feint Kick, but Masamune catches him and drags him into the center of the ring, looking for the walls once more.
"And Masamune counter, he's looking for the walls." Black Jack again escapes the submission attempts and flips him into the ropes again. "Black Jack again manages to fight it off, and look where Kadoya is Jason."
"Oh yeah, now remember, it's 6-1-9." Jason says, perfectly timing the nine to when Black Jack hits the move. He heads to the corner and manages to hit the Blackened Skies for the pin.
1…2… Masamune kicks out just a hair before three, to the disbelief of everyone in the arena.
"How, how did Masamune kick out of that Jason?" Nathan asks as Black Jack checks with the ref.
"Passion, pure passion and desire to win this battle is what helped him kick out Nate." Jason answers as Black Jack again wonders how to put Kadoya away.
"And now he's wondering what on earth he will have to do to win here." Nathan says as Black Jack stands and picks Masamune up and looks for another Package Pile-driver.
"Black Jack looking to finish this thing." Nathan says as Masamune counters and locks in the Unicorn Tamer modified Boston Crab.
"He called himself the man of 100 counters for a reason." Jason adds as Black Jack taps.
"And he gets the submission." Nathan says as Masamune lets go.
"Here is your winner by submission, Masamune Kadoya." Alex announces as the ref raises his hand. Black Jack stands up and offers his hand in respect, and the two shake hands and he raises Masamune's hand before heading to the back as the camera fades to the back as it shows Smartass Inc walking along backstage with Josh trying to psych himself up.
"Tonights your night brother." Jake says as they walk past catering and Josh grabs a water bottle and starts drinking it.
"Flynn may be smart but he's got nothing on your technique, strength, and resilience, Flynn aint got shit on you." Bray comments as they turn the corner.
"Your brother was the first World Champion, Ben was the first Cruiserweight Champion, I'm the first, and current Undisputed Women's Champion, time for you to make history and become the first duel champion." Alexa continues to give words of encouragement as they come across The Alliance of Excellence.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Isabella asks as they all square up.
"People with credibility, and Ben." Alexa says as Josh and Phineas lock eyes.
"Beat his ass." Ben chirps in.
"The hell you want?" Jake says.
"Just making sure ole midcarder here doesn't try to pull a quick one on my man tonight." Isabella responds as Wilson steps up.
"That's golden coming from you guys, considering what you pulled at Pat…"
"We don't talk about that." All of them cut off Alexa.
"You know what kid, how about this, we do this one on one, no brothers, no string bean or hoss friends, and no love of my life, or in your case, on and off again friends with benefits. Just you and me, no bullshit, let the better man win, that of course being me."
"Ah good, because I talked to Uzamaki before the show, and he thought that both our parties are banned from ringside, also I'm older than you."
"See you tonight Midcarder." Phineas and his stable walk off as it goes back to the arena as Style by Kana Nishino plays and Maka walks out.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is set for one fall, introducing first. From Death City Nevada, representing the DWMA, Maka Alburn."
"Now, as stated at the top of the show we mentioned that this is the first time we will see Blake in the ring sense Patriotic Punishment, but this is Maka's first time being on GVWL television sense the go home show for Revolver." Nathan says as Maka poses, getting mixed reactions from the crowd.
"I think this is also the first singles match not involving the Women's Champion sense before Royalty Warfare Nate."
"I think you're right Jason." Nathan says as This will be the Day plays and Team RWBY.
"And her opponent, from The Kingdom of Vale Remnant. Accompanied by Ruby Rose, Wiess Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long. Representing Team RWBY, Blake Belladonna." Blake enters the ring, and the other three demand that the crowd cheer their friend, only to receive more boos. The bell rings and the two tie up, Maka puts Blake into a wrist lock before hitting an elbow to the side of Blake's head, and wiping her into the ropes. Maka looks for a body drop, but Blake kicks her in the face. Blake plants her with a scoop slam and pins.
1… kick out before two. Team RWBY tries to get the crowd to cheer Blake, but they do the opposite.
"I don't think the fans like em too much Nate."
"They don't." Blake tosses Maka out of the ring via the hair. The ref gets onto her about the hair, Maka slowly gets up and Yang hits an Ember Celica. "And Yang with a cheap shot. And they call themselves harons." Nathan says as the three get Maka back into the ring and Blake pins.
1…2… kick out just before three. All four members of Team RWBY argue with the ref before Ruby has them all stop and she says something to Blake, who looks for the Gambol Shroud, but Maka ducks and looks for a quick roll up.
1…2… Just before three, the ref is pulled out from the ring by Yang who gets into his face.
"I don't think Yang is aware this might get Blake disqualified." Nathan says as Fight Night by Migos plays and Liz and Patty confront the members of Team RWBY.
"Don't forget Maka has friends too." Jason says as the ref re-enters the ring as Maka hits the Kishin Hunter running knee strike.
"Kishin Hunter, Maka might have it." Nathan says as Team RWBY complains about something involving the ref as Maka pins.
1…2…3. Maka celebrates as Team RWBY is audibly upset. Liz and Parry join her in the ring and as they go to leave the ring, Team RWBY attacks the three.
"Wow, such heroic actions from RWBY, I bet all the young ladies love the idea of attacking a group when their backs are turned." Jason says as Kid, Soul, and Black Star come out and pull RWBY off their allies. That's when Jaune, Ren, and Oscar join in.
"Yeah, and it looks like their pals remember they work here." Nathan jokes as the up beats the DWMA members down until personnel steps in to stop them, the scene ends with Maka, Kid, and Black Star standing up, leaning on the ropes as it fades to commercial. Once back from commercial, it shows Black Jack walking in the back rolling his neck.
"Well well well, if it isn't the biggest coward in the company." Black Jack turns to see PCU, with Kevin and the Intercontinental Championship front and center.
"Very funny, coming from the guy who hasn't wrestled a single match until two days ago after being handed a Championship."
"And what are you trying to imply, lucha dork?"
"There's a difference between us. You tap out quickly because you are a coward. I tapped out quickly because I wish to preserve my strength for my fatal four way. Intelligence, not cowardice." Black Jack walks away and Kevin chuckles.
"Whatever you say, dork." PCU grins and it fades to the arena where ring announcer Alex Smith is in the center of the ring.
"Ladies and gentleman, the following contest is your main event of the evening and is set for one fall." Alex begins the introduction as the crowd chants one fall back. "And is for the GVWL World Heavyweight Championship." 99 Ways to Die by Megadeth plays as Josh comes out to the stage as the crowd sings along.
"Now just to catch people up to speed two nights ago at Havok at the Chase, The Meredith Twins would defend their newly won Tag Team Championship against former World Heavyweight Champion Ed and the man who challenged him six days ago at Homecoming Bash a man who, well we thought was Ed's best friend Eddy, but the caviought that came from current World Heavyweight Champion Phineas Flynn was who ever scored the fall to win the Tag Team Championship would face Phineas here at the premiere episode of Mayhem for the GVWL World Title." Nathan catches the fans at home up about the events that lead to this match taking place as Josh enters the ring undoing the tag belt and holds it up, posing for the crowd as Magic by Lil Skies plays and Phineas enters the arena to boos.
"Admit it Nate, it's only our first day working together and you prefer me over hearing Hall and Ryan arguing like an old married couple over Phineas being champion." Jason says as Phineas poses and holds his title over his head before holding it in front of Josh and going into the corner.
"Oh trust me, the only thing worse than them two bickering is listening to AEW and WWE fans on twitter." Nathan jabs at the internet.
"Introducing first the challenger, from St. Louis Missouri, he is one half of the GVWL World Tag Team Champions, Josh Meredith." Alex says as he holds his arms out with the belt in his right hand. "And his opponent, from Danville, Tri-state Area, he is the GVWL World Heavyweight Champion, Phineas Flynn." He flexes with the title and hands it to the official who shows the prize to both men before hoisting it into the air and handing it over to the time keeper and calls for the bell.
"Nathan I'm more excited for this than a skunk at a perfume shop." Jason says as the two tie up.
"I'm beginning to think management is punishing me for wanting a vacation." Nathan responds as Josh pushes Flynn into the corner as the ref makes them break and Phineas slaps the big man across the face. "Oh that's not a good idea." Nathan says as Josh immediately chops him across the chest so hard that the contact of flesh could be heard in the nosebleeds making Flynn wince in pain with a delayed scream before Josh pushes him back into the corner and chops him again and grabs him by the head a chucks the champion across the ring but Phineas uses his agility to roll through and get back to his feet impressing the crowd as Josh comes from behind for a German but Phineas slips downward and attempts a sunset flip pin.
1..Josh kicks out and leaps Flynn's head and pins with a crucifix.
1..Phineas kicks out as both men get to a knee as they look each other down and Flynn scratches his nose.
"I don't think Phineas expected Meredith to show such smooth grappling." Nathan says as the two tie up again.
"You never expect a ham hog like Josh Meredith to have a technical masterclass." Jason says Phineas uses his speed to take the back with a waistlock. Josh grabs his head and tossed him over his shoulder and applies a headlock that Phineas escapes by kipping up to his feet as Josh scrambles to his, smirking as they make eye contact and tie up again this time Josh gets the arm into a wrist lock and cranks on it so Flynn rolls forward to get out of the rest hold but Josh is one step ahead and pulls him in and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. Phineas gets back to his feet and before he can collect himself Josh grabs him from behind and hits a German suplex and bridges.
1..2..kick out at two as Josh keeps the hold locked.
"Ah shit." Phineas is heard saying before getting tossed back over Josh's head with another German towards the corner and he bum rushes the champion who rolls out of the way making Josh run into the corner chest first and he uses this opening to close the show early and hits an Epic Phin.
"Epic Phin, trying to get off early." Nathan says as Phineas goes for the pin.
1..2..Kick out at two and a half as Flynn is beside himself as Josh rolls out the ring. Phineas follows suit and drags Josh over to the steps and tries to slam face into the steps but it's blocked and Josh elbows him in the get and tosses him into the barricade shoulder first then throws him into the steps 1.
"You know this isn't the Champs first rodeo with a powerhouse, but I don't think he's ever had to face someone as physical." Jason says as Josh hoists Flynn up onto the apron and looks to do something on the hardest part of the ring 2. Josh puts Phineas's arm over his shoulder and lifts him up for a suplex onto the apron 3, but he blocks it and instead he hits the suplex as you can hear both men's backs thud as they fall to the floor 4, Phineas talking the lesser end of the impact gets to his feet first 5, he slowly enters the ring and pulls himself up 6, Josh gets back up and Flynn runs the ropes 7, as he stands back up, Phineas sends himself through the second and top rope but Josh catches him and rams him into the ring post.
"Flynn looking to fly, oh no, Oh my god." Nathan winces as his spine contorts on the steel post as it is followed up with a spinebuster onto the floor and Josh tosses him back into the ring and covers.
1..2..a kick out at two and a third, Josh signals him to get up.
"Meredith, feeling the end coming, we may have a new Heavyweight Champion." Nathan says as Josh charges forward and Phineas stops him dead in his tracks with a super kick causing both men to fall down. 1, the official starts the double down count 2. "Both men are down, after Flynn fired off a desperation shot," 3, Nathan says 4, both men begin to get to their feet and Phineas slaps him again so Josh slaps back. Flynn paysback the chop from earlier with a good chop across the specs off his own, so Josh hits a chop off his own as the two start trading chops and the upper chest both start turning red with each one getting audibly louder as their arms start redden. Phineas changes it up by smashing his forearm into Josh's head over and over again as they go towards the ropes. He runs off the opposite ropes and goes for a clothesline but Josh ducks and hits a spine buster and pins.
1..2..Before three Phineas kicks out to the shock of the crowd and Meredith.
"Flynn just refuses to die." Nathan says as Josh makes his way to the corner.
"What does the challenger have in mind here?" Jason asks as he imitates opening and drinking from a glass bottle and pointing a finger gun at Flynn as the crowd gets very loud. "Can you feel it Nate, the electricity in the air this might be it."Phineas slowly gets to his feet as Josh pulls up his elbow pad and Phineas moves out of the way as Josh practically kills the ref with a Bicycle Kick.
"FITZ KICK, OH NO, HE JUST SENT THE REFS HEAD INTO THE NOSE BLEEDS!!" Nathan Says as Phineas takes advantage to try and hit the Epic Phin, but Josh grabs the ropes and shakes him off, Phineas rushes him and gets planted flat on his ass with a Fitz Kick.
"FITZ'S PLEASE." Jason screams as Josh tries to signal for another official to come out and when he does Josh turns around only for Eddy to come out from under the ring and blast him with the World title as the new ref calls for the bell.
"Where the hell did Eddy come from?" Nathan asks as Phineas gets to his feet and Eddy turns to him looking down at Flynn's belt and lays it down. "What the hell is this about, what is it you bastard?"
"Ladies and gentlemen your winner by disqualification, Josh Meredith, therefore still the GVWL World Heavyweight Champion, Phineas Flynn." Alex says as the crowd boos mainly Eddy's actions as Phineas looks at him confused
"You… Owe… Me." Eddy says as he points at the belt before leaving as the show fades to black.
