After Anakin and the others finally got home after the job for Cid and discovering the Hypno-Sisters, they immediately began taking action to ensure their safety.

Lamenta truth scanned her uncle and every member of the Bad Batch as well as the horses. She confirmed Anakin, Crosshair, Echo, Wrecker, Pinto, Banjo, and Sapphire were all hypnotized by Dr. Zavi and Mezmira, but she couldn't make out what they'd been hypnotized to do.

Every member of the royal family except Anakin sat in a room to go over what Lamenta had found.

"I couldn't make everything out, but I could hear a few words." said Lamenta.

"Were any of them trigger words?" Qui-Gon asked.

"I'm not sure. But I could hear Mariverde mentioned, our crown jewels, and something about an eagle and a wolf."

"Maybe we should avoid using any of those words," Kara suggested. "until we find out how to un-hypnothize them."

"If the crown jewels are at stake," said Omega. "I think I have a good idea how we can protect them."

Gabby looked at Omega as she sat next to her. The match they did together playing dejarik was one moment where they seemed to grow a little closer as sisters.

When she was smaller, the only big sister Gabby had known was Ahsoka. She wondered what she was up to now.

"You have a strategy?" Gabby asked.

"It's my thing, and you're a big part of it." Omega smiled.

"What do I need to do?"

Omega thought and said, "How good are you at crafting?"

Meanwhile, the Batch were doing their own things.

Wrecker was lifting a weight and devouring a nuna leg, Crosshair was cleaning his weapon, Echo was relaxing with Mini-R2 by his side, and the horses were outside running, eating hay, or resting.

Nothing bad seemed to happen.

Sapphire was content watching Diamond as she was rolling around in the new spring grass that was growing.

Spring was finally starting to bloom, and it should have been a symbol of hope. But, it can be hard to hold onto hope when you're living in a time where a bunch of Enchanted criminals are on the loose.

Fortunately, the Solaris royal family wasn't the only one working to recapture the escapees. The Jedi as well as royal families and other leaders from other kingdoms were also working to recapture the prisoners, and succeeded in capturing a fair number of them before they became powerful enough to put up too big a fight.

Gabby dipped her brush into a little jar of glue and dabbed a tiny bit onto a fake jewel that looked just like the one on her tiara. And she placed it onto a faux tiara made to look like hers.

"What do you think?" Gabby asked.

"It looks perfect." Omega said, putting together the beads for a fake japor snippet. But she dropped one end of the rope and all the beads slipped off. "Dang it!"

"Having trouble with your beads, sis?" Boba chuckled placing his hand down, not realizing there was glue on it, and getting some rhinestones stuck to his hand. "Oh!"

Boba tried to get the stones off, but only succeeded in getting his hands stuck together and making his sisters laugh.

"Maybe you should go wash your hands, Big Brother." Gabby said.

"Good idea." Boba said, getting up and leaving.

As Gabby and Omega were left alone, it was quiet. So, Gabby decided to strike up a conversation.

"So... what do you think of homeschooling?" Gabby asked.

"It's okay, I guess." Omega shrugged. "It's more interesting here than it was back in Kamino."

"You know, when it was just me and Boba, we used to homeschool together with Threepio."

"What was that like?"

Gabby giggled as she thought back and told Omega all about her days of homeschooling. All the times she and Boba gave poor Threepio a hard time by sneaking away from lessons, sometimes using what they learned to tease him, and even when R2-D2 assisted in their lessons.

"It was a lot more fun when R2 joined in." Gabby said. "He could remix things and dance around with Remix and Carousella to make it more fun."

"And now that you got to go to real school?" Omega asked.

"It's okay. It's nice. I really like being with other kids and all the things I'd only seen in schools on TV. Circle time, snack time, arts and crafts, gym class. All that fun stuff. But now it's gonna be a while until they fix all the damage to the school."

"The faculty did say that they'd still make sure that graduation would still go on as planned in a few months, though."

Gabby realized quickly that she hadn't thought about it. Boba and Omega were eighth graders, which meant they would be graduating this year and going to high school next fall. That meant they wouldn't be going to the same school anymore. It made Gabby wonder how things were going to change between her and her siblings. Lamenta's friend Lee Ali had a sister who was in high school. They shared a room, but they did not get along so well.

According to Lamenta, Lee Ali and her sister Naya were always getting on each other's nerves. Naya was always hogging the bathroom, doing her makeup, styling her hair, and she always took forever to choose an outfit for school, which made Lee Ali run late for school, and arguments with their parents. And Naya was always complaining whenever her parents made her babysit Lee Ali, especially when she wanted to hang out with her friends. She was surprised their parents didn't just hire someone else to babysit Lee Ali by now, especially since Naya had lost Lee Ali at the mall, forgot to pick her up from school (which led to Lee Ali calling Lamenta to ask if someone in her family could give her a ride, as that incident was only a month ago), and got a ticket for texting while driving a speeder.

But, Gabby brushed that off, Omega and Boba weren't Naya. For one thing, neither of them were into makeup, neither of them even had their learner's permits (even if they did, they weren't reckless enough to text while driving; neither of them even texted while riding their horses, and the horses have eyes of their own), and the only time Gabby recalled she and Boba ever arguing was when they couldn't agree on what movie to watch, when either of them were emotionally scarred in some way, or when they were fighting over who got their turn with something.

Gabby and Omega, however, they'd never fought over anything (not that she'd ever want them to be fighting). Not yet, anyway.

Omega, on the other hand, was still processing the fact that she had sisters now, and she'd been adopted months ago. She still wasn't sure what to think of it.

All her life, Omega had been around primarily boys, which might have contributed to her tomboy personality. The only female she'd really known was Nala Se, but she didn't really teach Omega much of the typical female things other than female biology. But when she was brought to the palace, Omega got to try on different clothes at the mall, ride a pony, and try out different accessories in her hair. Her favorite one so far was a pretty sun hairclip her grandmother Shmi bought for her recently.

Omega had never received a lot of presents when she was younger. But when she had her first ever birthday party with Boba, she and her twin got so many presents, it took them both three days to unwrap all of them and find a place to put everything. And then Life Day, she got more great gifts. But, it surprised her when there were moments someone in her family gave her a present "just because" as they said. It confused her at first, but her parents and grandparents told her that any day could be a special occasion if you decided to make it one. You didn't need to wait for a birthday, an anniversary, holiday, or graduation to give someone a present. And if you had to give the present a title, just call it an 'I Love You' gift. It didn't matter the cost or what the item was, as long as it came from the heart.

When Shmi was out shopping with Anakin, she wanted to get something special for her grandchildren. She thought of how her Ani always called Omega his Sunshine because of her light magic and how she lit up with curiosity every time she saw a new place, much like Gabby did growing up. Omega had gotten really into wearing different hairclips lately, and when Shmi spotted that beautiful sunshine hairclip, she immediately thought of Omega, and the girl loved that accessory the moment she saw it. Omega loved that hairclip so much she decided she was going to wear it for school picture day.

But Omega was taught by her new family that no material present would ever surpass the value of the gift of family, the people she loved. And in this family, she had a twin brother, a baby brother, and two little sisters. As the oldest sister, the pressure was on for her to set an example for the younger kids, especially the other girls. Leia was a baby, so Omega had plenty of time to teach her things and earn her respect. But Gabby was six and a half years old, and intelligent for her age. Gabby didn't lack respect for her older sister, but Omega and she were definitely on the same page of knowing they hadn't quite gotten as close as most sisters would like to be.

In a big family, it can be hard to get closer to one person, given that you get pulled in all different directions. The Batchers were also Omega's brothers, and the way Gabby saw it, that kinda made them her brothers by association. They didn't call Anakin and Padme 'Mom' and 'Dad' like Boba and Omega did, but they were still considered part of the family. And every sibling had a different role in the family in each generation.

Boba was the oldest in his family, which placed a lot of pressure on him to be the example for his younger siblings. He faced it when he had just one sibling, but now the pressure was up with the addition of three more kids. Gabby used to be the baby of the family, but now she was the middle child, which put pressure on her to be both an example for the baby twins and a learner of the older twins' examples. As if being the crown princess of Naboo didn't put enough pressure on her already. And for Leia and Luke, being babies, there wasn't any pressure on them now, but there would be some for them to live up to their older siblings' achievements when they got older.

The Bad Batch even had different roles, though four of them could probably be considered quadruplets, as four of them were born together. Echo was younger than them, but among the four original members of the Batch, Hunter was the oldest and a leader to his brothers.

Wrecker was the second born of the bunch and the biggest of them. He might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but what he lacked in book smarts, he made up for in being very strong in muscles and heart, as well as being a great playmate for the kids when their parents were away.

Tech was third and the most intelligent of the bunch. He could come off as a bit stuck-up and maybe a bit of a know-it-all sometimes, but he was never nasty about it, and he was always willing to help if the kids were struggling with a hard subject in school, which was good, considering the classes the twins would be taking once they started high school.

And Crosshair, believe it or not, was the youngest by a minute. Not much of a conversationalist even now with Maybelle to loosen him up some. But, he knew how to hit his target, mostly with a weapon, but he wasn't a bad guy once you got to know him.

Either way, the bigger the family, the harder it can be to grow closer to just one person. And with Goldie and her parents, it was an even bigger family. They literally had to make a whole file cabinet with a folder for everyone just so they could remember everyone's birthday, the birth order of those born together, and dietary needs and preferences. In case you hadn't guessed, Caroline was the one to put it all together, with some help from Padme, Mariposa, and Tech, them knowing particular members of the family best.

Throughout the day and the next morning, no one said the trigger word that would make Anakin, Crosshair, Echo, Wrecker, Pinto, Banjo, and/or Sapphire, but that didn't mean the family wasn't going to take very measure they could. For starters, they had to hide anything that could be used as a weapon in case Dr. Zavi hypnotized them to do something dangerous. All the lightsabers, blasters, kitchen knives, and any other sharp objects that could be used to harm anyone. They also put tennis balls onto Pinto and Banjo's horns.

Nothing seemed to happen with the hypnosis, but Mariposa got to checking every spell book she and the royal family had to find any answers about how to break the hypnotic spell placed on their friends. There was slim to no chance of getting it out of Zavi or her sister whatever the key words were, so they needed to either figure them out on their own or find another way to break the spell.

But in the meantime, Garrett was going to continue training the royal family, starting with teaching them about other magical creatures.

One of the palace's extra rooms was converted into a classroom just for the enchanted famoly members so Garrett could give them class lectures, like in a one room school from the old days.

And for this class, Garrett brought in a special friend from the kingdom of Plumalas. The only prince in that royal family, Gustavo Gagliardi, also known as Gus. A griffin.

Goldie, Boba, and Omega were all really curious about Gus, having known pretty much nothing about griffins or not seeing Gus as often as some of their other friends.

"What does everyone here know about griffins so far?' Garrett asked his students.

Gabby raised her hand and said, "They're half eagle, half lion."

"Good, and...?"

"They love shiny objects." Lamenta said.

"Griffins are also very reclusive creatures," said Garrett. "That's what makes them such fierce predators as well as excellent guardians of various magical artifacts, most of which tend to be shiny since they are made of metal and/or jewels."

"Another thing about us griffins is we can do this." Gus said, and unleashed a loud eagle's cry, which made everyone cover their ears.

"Wow, that's loud!" Carmine said, still covering his ears.

While the Enchanteds of the family were in their schooling, all the moms in the family were looking through the spell books.

"Even after raising Carmine and helping him with his magic training," said Susy. "I still doubt I will ever fully understand magic.

"I've been married to Carmine for five years, and I still haven't seen even half of all the magic spells and enchantments there are." Caroline said.

"Well, your daughter didn't have nearly as many magical mishaps as Gabby did." Padme said, looking in another book. "You should've seen the time everyone floated in a bunch of bubbles and got stuck in a bunch of trees and tall flowers."

"Lamenta may be the calmer one of each of our first children," said Caroline. "But she has had her share of mishaps. Such as the scrambled stars incident."

"How do you scramble stars?" Shmi asked.

"The same way you get glitter sparkles everywhere."

"Have either of you found anything so far?" said Mariposa.

Padme turned to a certain page in her book and found that hypnotic spells were a very tricky form of magic. Some charms were easy to snap someone out, others required a key word. It depended on the type of hypno-spell used. And Caroline found that there were three main kinds of hypnotic spells: Enslavement, Hallucinary, and Memory.

Enslavement charms, as you may have already guessed, were the type of charms used to enslave victims, and the royal family had seen this happen and been victims when Lady Morpha used her moths to enslave people. Memory hypnosis was typically used to recover memories or erase memories from a certain time period. This form had very strict rules, as dark wizards attempted to use such a charm in order to turn their enemies to their side by making them forget who they were.

But the type that Dr. Zavi and Mezmira most likely used was Hallicinary, the type of hypnosis that made victims believe they were someone or something they were not, and believe they were seeing things that aren't really there.

"It says here Hallucinary magic is the trickiest form of all," said Caroline. "Unlike Enslavement hypnosis, it's not broken so easily. According to this, if you don't know the key word or triggers, it takes something called a Mersire Cadence to break a victim out of it."

"What's that?" Padme asked.

"That's what we need to find out." Mariposa said, getting out some Enchanted terminology books. "Start brushing up on terminology."

Meanwhile, Maybelle was with her brothers doing some chores in the yard. Back home on their farm, they used to do this kind of stuff all the time, which meant the royal family didn't need to hire any new gardeners, as these horses knew more about farm life and frontier style than anyone else, including Crescent, who'd watched a lot of western movies. Maybelle was worried about her younger brothers. As the oldest in her family and the only girl, there was a lot of pressure for her too.

With their parents tending the crops all the time, it was up to Maybelle to be the mom of the house for Pinto when he was a foal, and then Banjo when he was born. Whenever their parents were busy doing the grown-up jobs or away delivering harvests, Maybelle had to be the one to teach them everything from lassoing to barn raising, crop-tending, even controlling their musicorn magic. The only thing she didn't teach was how to fly, as Banjo was the only one to get their father's wings.

"Are you sure you're both okay?" Maybelle said, hoeing the dirt. "From what I know about hypnosis, it can cause serious headaches if left untreated for too long."

"No worries, sis." Pinto said as he was tending to some seeds he planted. "Nothin' wrong up here."

"Nothing's even happened." Banjo said. "Worst case scenario, they only pretended to hypnotize us just to scare us and we'd get scarred enough to become the next victims to Mariverde."

Suddenly, Banjo and Pinto's eyes turned to black and white swirlies and they started to act rather strangely. Banjo suddenly flew up to a wall and started tapping his nose against it and squawking like a bird, and Banjo...he started snorting and charging like a bull until he crashed through the wall!

"Uh oh! This ain't good." Maybelle panicked, and she rushed after her brothers.

Seeing as Banjo was only 'pecking' at the wall, Maybelle went after Pinto first especially when she heard something glass shattering.

Pinto rampaged through the palace and outside into the city.

"What's wrong with Pinto?" Shmi asked when she saw Maybelle.

"Apparently, he thinks he's a bull, and Banjo thinks he's a woodpecker and that the palace is made of wood. OW!"

That was when Banjo came in and started bopping his nose on his sister.

"And everything else he sees!"

"Maybelle, did you or either of your brothers say something that could've been a trigger word?" Mariposa asked.

"Well, it started after Banjo said and I quote, 'Worst case scenario, they only pretended to hypnotize us just to scare us and we'd get scarred enough to become the next victims to Mariverde.' And that was when they went crazy!"

Inconveniently, Wrecker and Echo happened to walk by, and their hypnosis got triggered.

Meanwhile, in one of the palace wardrobes, Sapphire was helping Carousella pick out a dress to wear on a date. She hadn't told anyone yet, but she'd recently met a great stallion at Comedia's coronation, and they met again, when he asked Carousella out, and Carousella wanted to look her best.

"Let's just hope Mariverde doesn't wreck this date," said Carousella. "It's really important to me that it goes."

But Sapphire wasn't listening anymore, and she started chewing on all the shoes she could sink her teeth into.

"Sapphire! Sapphire, no!" Carousella scolded, trying to get Sapphire to stop chewing on one of Padme's best shoes. "Those are Padme's favorites!"

Sapphire growled at Carousella and barked like a dog.

"Don't you bark at me."

Mezmira sat and sighed as Dr. Zavi was working on polishing one of her best pocket watches, waiting for something to appear in her crystal ball.

"Hilda, I'm getting bored." Mezmira said. "Can't we just go do something to get the royals now?"

"Not yet." said Dr. Zavi. "Someone will trigger Anakin Skywalker any moment, and then he will bring the crown jewels right to us."

"Aww! I gotta do something fun now!"

Zavi groaned in annoyance.

"Then go hypnotize someone else! I don't care what you do as long as you aren't bugging me!"

"Hmm... I did have lots of other ideas of how I could've hypnotized those other guys I'd like to try out." Mezmira started to smile. "And I know just who to try them out on."

Meanwhile, the royal family began to hear a commotion from outside of the classroom.

"What is going on out there?" said Kara.

Just then, someone was banging at the door.

"Little pigs, let me come in." Wrecker's voice came from the other side of the door.

"It's just Wrecker." Omega said with a chuckle.

Gabby giggled and said, "I think we may have been reading too many fairy tales to him."

"Little pigs, let me come in. Or I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in."

Qui-Gon rolled his eyes and went to open the door and Wrecker blew hard enough to make Qui-Gon's hair fly a little, and made him cough a little.

"Wrecker, did you forget to brush your teeth this morning?" Qui-Gon groaned in disgust at Wrecker's breath.

Wrecker growled and looked like a hungry wolf.

"I'm hungry for little pigs!" Wrecker said.

And when Wrecker started rampaging around the room, trying to bite the kids, that was when they realized something was very wrong with him.

"Wrecker must've been hypnotized to think he's the Big Bad Wolf!" Gabby said.

"Uh... you think?!" Boba said.

That was when everyone also heard what sounded like Tech screaming.

"Tech!" Omega exclaimed, and ran to find her brother, and then finding him in a rather odd and amusing state.

Tech was laughing hysterically as Echo was tickling him under his arms and on his stomach.

"Hahaha! E-Echo! No-no more tickling! Haha! No more!" Tech begged. "Stop it!"

"Echo, why are you tickling Tech?" Omega said.

"Tickle time for you now!" Echo smiled, and he grabbed Omega and started tickling her!

"Ahh! No, no! Echo!" Omega started laughing like crazy as Echo started tickling her stomach.

"Since when does Echo like playing tickle games?" Qui-Gon asked before he started getting tickled himself.

"Cootchie, cootchie, coo!" Echo teased.

"Stop it! Sta-haha-ap it!" Qui-Gon laughed before angrily Force pushing Echo off him.

"I'm gonna guess it's because he was hypnotized." Kara said.

Before Echo could get her too, she pressed her hand against Echo's face and kept him at an arm's distance. Except, that was when Crosshair came by, acting like a monkey and Sapphire jumped on Anakin and started licking him and panting like a dog.

"Alright, who said anything that could've been a trigger word?" Anakin asked.

"Anybody home?" said a new voice. And in came Myra on Round n' Round's back.

"Myra? What's wrong?" Kara asked.

"Something majorly wrong is going on." Myra said. "You have to come to Coruscant right now."

"Um, we've got a bit of a crisis going on here right now." Gabby said.

"Then we'll split up." Anakin said. "Carmine, Kara, you and the other girls go with Myra. We'll stay here and deal with-"

Sapphire started licking Anakin again until Anakin picked up a ball.

"Want the ball, girl?"

Sapphire shook her tail in the air and panted as Anakin held the ball and threw it.

"Fetch!"

And Sapphire went after it.

"What's wrong with Sapphire?" asked Round n' Round?"

"That's what I'd like to know about Echo." Tech said.

That was when Myra started getting tickled until Qui-Gon pulled Echo off her and hugged him tightly.

"Goldie and I will continue to look for an antidote." Mariposa said. "Everyone else, get any hypnotized victims you can find under control."
