It didn't take long for Anko to finish her shower. She threw their clothes and forehead protectors into the home washer/dryer she had in her overgrown yard. When she lay next to Naruto on the bed, she shared the same towel-wrap makeshift getup as he did, granted it wrapped around her entire torso. Compromising times as that one made her glad no one else lived in her home.
"You know," the boy said, eyes focused on her beautiful face, "you look a lot better with your hair down."
Anko giggled. "Gets in the way of my eyes. I'd cut it, but then I'd have to do it again when it grows out. Besides, I look like a crazy bitch."
"I like crazy."
"You need to work on your lines." She ruffled his hair.
He blushed and glanced at her bare curse seal. "What exactly is that?" Flinching at her freezing, he looked away. "Never mind."
"It's… the Cursed Seal of Heaven." Anko stared up at the ceiling. "Orochimaru found this kid who could alter his body in any way he wanted, but his head was a mess. We looked into it and turned out he had a kekkai genkai that let him absorb natural energy, which made him a sage."
"What's a sage?"
"A sage is someone who can blend natural energy into themselves. Physical and mental energy combine in someone to make chakra. Physical, natural, and mental energy combined make far more powerful chakra. It elevates the abilities of your body far beyond its limits with no drawbacks, enhances your ninjutsu, makes regaining chakra easier, and enhances your genjutsu too."
Naruto hummed. "Is that old pervert one?"
"I don't know: they say he is, but I've never seen him use it myself."
"But you know what it looks like?"
Anko shrugged. "I only know what someone fucking up with natural energy looks like. Jugo, the kid, couldn't actually control it. That's why his head was such a mess. Sure, he was strong, but he wasn't close at all to what he could be." She put a hand over her seal. "This stores natural energy around me and merges with my other energies when I want it to, but I'm not a real sage. Like Jugo, I become strong, just not as strong as I could be if I did it properly. Draws out my worst impulses, makes me look like a black-headed snake, and leaves me exhausted afterward."
"That's why it's a curse." He joined in the ceiling-staring. "Power at a cost, which isn't real power."
"Fact it killed a lot of people also helps. It forces the natural energy into your other energies until you grow accustomed to it or die. Really agonizing experience. Orochimaru made them tied to him in some way, but I never understood how."
He lifted his upper body. "Are you sure?"
She gave him a glance. "...Well." She looked away. "It burns when he's near, and I have dreams sometimes." Her lips pursed. "They're of our time together, but I'm looking at them from his view. Don't know if I'm just wondering what he was thinking then or not."
"That means you can track him." Naruto grinned. "We can kill him together!"
"Easy there… I mean, you probably could with enough explosive clones, but getting him into that position is going to be a hassle. He can use earth, so you're going to have to blow up everything. And, like I already showed you, he can just spit another body out."
"Oh please, I beat a Tailed Beast!"
"Don't get me wrong: you can give Orochimaru a decent fight. It's just he's a different kind of dangerous than a Tailed Beast. If you don't take him out completely, he'll slip away, and he's no slouch in Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, or Genjutsu. Destructive power is one thing, concentrated or diverse powers are another."
He nodded. "Shukaku was strong but not skilled, I understand." Rolling over, he stopped himself on top of his guardian. "We can do it Anko-sensei."
"That word choice was intentional, wasn't it?" She nudged him aside, returning him to his back-laying position. "Girls like a man that wants them but not one that wants them too much."
"Why does everything have to be so confusing with women?"
"Life would be too boring otherwise."
Naruto groaned. "I like excitement, but I want that part of my life to be simple…" He drifted off. "If that part of life is even possible for me."
"Have you forgotten about the Hyuga girl already? You know she came to see you while you were out of it: her, her sister, that Hyuga boy, and her father. After trashing the Gentle Fist, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to tie you to the clan in an effort to save face."
"Hinata…" His cheeks gained a pink tint as his heart raced. "I don't know what to feel about her. If anything happens, it can't be political: I'm tired of politics in my personal life."
Anko laughed as she tilted on her side to face him. "It's on your face and in your voice!"
"What is?"
"Come on, can't you…" She frowned, eyes still warm. "Oh right."
"What?"
"You'll realize it soon." Her frown shifted back into a smile.
He focused on the ceiling again. "Why does everyone keep what they know from me? I didn't want you to be the same either."
She winced. "It's not out of spite or anything like that. It's just…" She fell on to her back. "The truth can be hard or odd to hear and drive people away from it. I don't want to ruin something for you. It's not that I don't trust you: I just don't trust myself because it took me so long to realize it." Taking a deep breath, she sighed. "And it destroyed me."
"Anko-sensei, I guess I'm okay with it." He inched closer to her and nuzzled her cheek. "When it's with you." He laughed as both their faces grew a pink tint. "You…" Tears welled in his eyes. "Of all people, you were the only one who was really there for me; who taught me and guided me."
"Other people did too!" She averted her eyes to hide her own tears. "Things just got in their way. I have nothing going on in my life, so I just did what any of them would've if they could."
"But you're the only one who did."
She shifted her back to him, unable to hold them back. "Oh stop."
"It's the truth." He wrapped his arms around her shoulders to hold her tight.
The circumstances of their lives held them back, but that was no excuse for their actions and inaction. If he did not hold himself to the fate of his own, he would not hold others to theirs. His hatred for the villagers was for their unbound ignorance far before he learned of his father's choice to value them as much, if not more, than him. Kakashi was a layabout before, and there was something about Jiraiya he never liked. They had what was coming to them.
Distant dinging signaled their clothing was restored to a hygienic condition. Together, they reluctantly rose from their comfortable bed positions to go outside. Anko was again grateful for her lack of any roommates or family when she went into her backyard, nearly naked with an underage boy in the same state. He couldn't care less if they were spotted or not.
"Still-warm, washed clothes are the best." She squinted as Naruto dropped his towel. "Really?"
He opened the machine's hatch and began putting on what was his, starting with his brighter blue forehead protector. "Is it small?"
"I'm not looking." She collected her own things to put on in a more safe place.
"You know you want to."
She rolled her eyes. "There are growers and then there's showers." Clothing all in her arms, she moved before he could try anything more.
"...Am I both?" He shrugged before putting on the rest of his outfit. It was warm and comfortable, especially the fishnets. The original vest and shirt combo he bought with Sasuke and Sakura was gone, but their replacements were functionally the same. Shorts were still there, but it felt strange to associate the warmth of his teammates with his crotch. "I'm going out to kill Kakashi!"
"What?!"
"I'm going out to talk to Kakashi!"
"Okay!" Anko blinked as she undid her towel. "Oh right, he just left the hospital without checking out." Smiling, she focused on dressing herself. "Probably excited to be with his team again."
Naruto walked up to the roof of the building and brought his fingers together, conjuring well over a hundred clones. He sat down before they took off into the village. With all the drama having occurred, getting a hold of the man was likely harder than it would usually be. Waiting was not one of his strong suits, so staying in his hospital room was out of the question. The one person he trusted the most in the entire world would lead him to his false sensei.
Team 10 was in a peculiar spot. Their jonin lost his father, was appointed the head of his clan on short notice, and was now a player in the Leaf Village's political side of things. Even though he was infamous for supporting the Daimyo over any ninja, he was entrusted with a position that factored into deciding the next Hokage. It made their barbecue rewards after training rather awkward.
Shikamaru was swallowing a rich, spicy sausage at the open street shop they usually ate in when he saw a haunting silhouette from the corner of his eye. "Naruto is coming!" He glanced his confused teammates. "Transform, now!" Making the hand seal, he turned into a copy of the jinchuriki as he was during his Chunin Exams match.
"Wait a minute!" A clone stopped by with a dozen or so others backing him up.
Another scoffed. "You fucking liars!"
"We should've known you weren't Naruto!" One to his right spat on the ground. "You could never be Naruto!"
Shikanaruto blinked before raising his bandaged hand to rub the back of his head. "Hinata wrapped me up again, guys."
"Aww," Ino said, tears welling in her eyes. "That's so sweet."
"We didn't get those from Hinata!"
A clone raised a hand to scratch his whiskered cheek. "That does sound like her though."
"Wonder when we'll see her again," one to his left said wistfully before being punched out of existence.
The whisker-scratcher nodded. "Priorities. Hinata comes after." It dodged a punch from its kin but couldn't dodge the ones belonging to the clones it fell back near.
"Narutos," Asuma said, "what are you doing here?"
"Where's Kakashi?"
One punched into an open hand. "We're going t–" It was silenced before it could spill their secrets.
"We're just going to talk to him."
"Yeah, why so suspicious, smoker guy?"
"I didn't… Wait, do you really not know my name?"
The clones collectively raised their hands to stroke their chins. "I wanna say…" They shrugged.
"I've got nothing."
"You were there on orientation day, right?"
"Said we'd be late."
"Ape-looking shitheel."
The jonin twitched. "I'm Asuma Sarutobi: Konohamaru's uncle." He shook his head. "You should see him now that you're up."
"Hinata and Kakashi first," one said and was poofed for.
The kinslayer stomped his foot. "What is up with you guys?!"
"What's up with me? What's up with you?!" Another stomped forward.
One other pressed his pointer fingers together. "I just want someone to love me." He closed his eyes expecting oblivion only to be hugged by the others instead.
"What if I want someone real to love me?" A clone to his right asked. He backed away as the others crowded him into a crowd of others that thought the same. "I mean, do we even count?"
"We're the only ones that ever will!" They charged.
"Is…" Asuma tilted his head at the sight of the Narutos brawling each other. "He okay?"
Shikamaru, back to his regular self, shrugged. "Said he was going through a lot. Troublesome."
"He's struggling with his newfound love! The love he has for Hinata!" Ino cried, figuratively and literally.
Choji munched on meat right off a skewer. "His clones started off kind of funny, but they're getting creepier."
It took about a minute for only one clone to be left standing. The Naruto looked around it, shook its head, took a deep breath, and sighed. "What the fuck am I doing?" He focused back on Asuma. "Kakashi?"
"I don't know," the Sarutobi head answered.
"Who won?" Choji asked, finishing his third kebab since the fight started.
It scoffed. "No one." Like a broken man, it shambled away.
Ino sighed and wiped her tears away. "Hinata has her work cut out for with that one."
"I feel like I should do something, but I don't even know how to handle my grief," Asuma said.
"Troublesome," Shikamaru punctuated.
The real Naruto thought the same thing.
Kurenai watched the two boys on her team from the entrance of the training area practice their abilities, going harder and faster with each attempt. Naruto Uzumaki's performance in the Chunin Exams but especially his performance against the Tailed Beast sparked a fire in every shinobi who witnessed. With the Third Hokage dead, there was a power vacuum in the village and in the entire shinobi world, so they'd need it. Her sole kunoichi was on mandatory leave from all training until her wounds fully healed. That was something she agreed with Hiashi on. It was good her family was mending bridges, but she found it difficult to think about her returning after they left the girl in her custody. It may have been their bond influencing her thoughts though.
"What the fuck are you doing here?!"
She turned and saw two groups of Narutos staring each other down from the rooftops of the buildings outside of their practice field's entrance. "Huh?"
The opposing group scoffed. "What the fuck are you doing here?!"
"You first!"
"What do you think?!
"I don't know what I think!"
They crossed their arms smugly. "Yeah, you do!"
"S-Shut up!"
She tilted her head. "I am so confused right now." She blinked her red eyes as an absolute stranger tiptoed towards her. "Can I help you?"
"Hinata's sensei right?" He stopped, saluted, and poofed into a Naruto. "I sneaked over here so I can tell her something."
"...My name is Kurenai, and I'm afraid Hinata is resting right now."
The clone deflated. "That's okay, I guess. I need you to tell her something for me. I…" He raised and twiddled his fingers. "Tell her I… I mean, I…" He shut his eyes. "Tell Hinata I think I mi–"
"Traitor!" One entire side threw their shuriken at the clone, popping him and driving the jonin to jump out of the way.
"Now!" Their opponents leaped over to engage. "Attack!"
Kurenai stared as the boy her surrogate daughter admired waged a war on himself. She recognized the same body language in the clone that she did in her. Hinata confessed they shared a moment in the practice field. The details were unspecific due to the obviously personal nature of the conversation, but she was certain it sparked the same feelings her charge had for him towards her in his heart.
The sole survivor of the Clone Civil War jumped down. "Forget you heard or saw anything." He turned and paused. "Do you know where Kakashi is?"
"No... Why?"
"I'm going to muuurger him."
She squinted. "Merger?"
"Yeah, merger." He scoffed. "Get with the times. You merger with your team, merger with other jonin, and merger with your friends."
"Join together and hang out?"
Rolling his eyes, he continued on his way. "What else?"
"Huh…" Kurenai watched him disappear into the village streets. "At least Hinata will be happy knowing he's awake."
He was in no state to process complicated emotions. It wasn't as if he had a preset example for what he thought he was feeling. The clones represented his subconscious mind, which was naturally a mess after everything as of late. At least they weren't exploding in his face.
Sasuke and Sakura ate rice balls by one of the Leaf Village's many food stands. One could easily mistake them for being on a date. If she were a month or two younger, Sakura would have mistook it as one too. Their sensei said he had business to take care of, so he was unavailable until he poked his silver-haired head out again.
"I think I've been a terrible daughter." She looked down at her rice ball. "I came home expecting a lecture and got hugs with tears to go along with them. All this time, I've been worried when you and Naruto pushed yourselves, but I haven't taken into account how I could be hurt." She frowned. "I could've died back there too."
He swallowed. "That's a reality of being a shinobi. Your parents are never going to stop worrying about you or expecting you to care for yourself. It's just how they are."
"…Sorry."
"There's nothing to apologize for. It's better to talk about these things than walk around eggshells with me." Sasuke lifted a complimentary cup of tea and sipped. "Besides, we have bigger things to worry about."
"Orochimaru and the Sand." She nodded.
"We fended off their attack, but the Third Hokage died. Right now, we look and are weak. Someone's going to be proclaimed the Fifth soon. Nothing's going to be the same whoever it turns out to be; the Third was the most powerful ninja of his generation and lived through every Shinobi World War: his loss is probably the biggest blow to the village's reputation other than the decline of the Uchiha and the Senju."
Sakura's eyes narrowed. "Other villages will make moves on us."
"And depending on how things escalate, there might be war." He bit into another rice ball.
"Another Shinobi World War."
He nodded and swallowed. "Every generation since the founding of the villages has had one. If not now, then later. It's just how things are between shinobi."
"If Naruto were here, he'd probably be so excited to hear that." Sakura smiled.
"I couldn't blame him; no one can deny how valuable he is to the village now." He smirked. "That dream of his is coming true, and becoming a war hero would cement it in even the civilians' minds."
"How would you take down Tailed Beast?"
Sasuke shrugged. "Something big and flashy seems to be the most effective thing."
She pouted. "I don't know any jutsu close to you two." Tilting her head, she hummed. "Maybe I could've dug through its sand to its heart? But does it even have a heart?"
"Naruto's had flesh. It could be different for each one."
"We need to get so much stronger to reach that level." She shivered in memory of the Nine-Tailed Fox's chakra.
He nodded. "Been almost a month, and he's outpaced us. I doubt we're the only ones trying to catch up."
"Then we'll just have to wait on...Kakashi."
"It might be good to ask that proctor for some pointers or even the other jonin."
She groaned. "We'll probably have to now that our lives aren't in danger."
They finished their food and their drinks. After leaving behind money, they stepped out. It would likely take some time for them to find their jonin or any other jonin willing to train them. While they were on a similar level to Kakashi, they didn't know if they possessed the same knowledge. His anbu buddies were nowhere in sight and likely wouldn't be for some time.
Then two Narutos dropped down and embraced them.
"You're awake!" Sakura blinked as more Narutos descended to join in. "Uh?"
Sasuke raised an eyebrow at more joining around him in a crushing group hug. "Glad to see you too, but can you get off me?"
"In a minute."
"You're…choking me."
One nuzzled Sakura's shoulder. "Do you guys know where Kakashi is?"
"No," she wheezed.
"Aww!" They collectively whined. "I was hoping to annihilate...some ramen with him."
She winced. "Not us?"
"With you guys too, obviously! I–" They all grinned before poofing out of existence.
Sasuke and Sakura shared a confused look as they evened out their breathing. There was much they needed to talk about with him. It was easy for them to tell something was wrong. Whatever cluster of complications that happened at the end of the Chunin Exams surely left some deep wounds on his psyche. They knew little of just how deep they extended though.
To be a rival of Might Guy was to be the recipient of his whims and half-thought ideas. To be his eternal rival was to be the greatest recipient of his whims and half-thought ideas. It was how the jonin of Team 7 went from chatting with one of the legendary Sannin to being halted by the Leaf's Green Beast. While he appreciated the man's company, he was best taken in half-doses.
"Come on, Kakashi!" The taijutsu master posed on the rooftop before him. "Let's do it!"
The one-eyed man shook his head. "Now's really not a good time."
"Nonsense! Someone needs to distract you from the lingering guilt and pain you feel deep in your heart!"
"...Like what you feel about Lee's condition?"
Guy froze, stood straight, and hung his head. "Perceptive as ever, my eternal rival."
He patted his bowl-cut. "There are many operations and healing ninjutsu that exist." He eye-smiled. "I know it may seem bleak now, but I'm certain he'll get the treatment he needs." He felt a bead of sweat roll down his face as the man embraced him tightly.
"Oh, Kakashi, what would I do without you?! My dearest friend!"
"I'm just telling you the obvious."
Heartfelt, debateably-over-dramatic tears left the man's eyes. "I am certain your student will make a full recovery as well!"
"Physically, yes." His eye narrowed in sorrow. "Emotionally, I have no idea."
"Well, well, well! What do we have here!?"
Kakashi blinked and turned to see a crowd of his comatose student glaring daggers at him. "You're awake?"
"Obviously." One scoffed.
Another nodded. "I know you only have one eye but come on."
"Maybe he needs to take out his Sharingan." The clone to the other's left snickered. "Really get a look on things."
"...Naruto, are you okay?"
"Meet the real one at the practice field."
"Guy?" Kakashi nodded in appreciation as he let go. "What's going on?"
"I'm going to kiiiill some time with you!" The clone flinched at the looks it got from the others.
"Suspicious word choice."
They growled. "Just get to the fucking practice field, you limp-dick lazy-ass porn-addict!" With the tiger seal, they released themselves from existence, informing the original the others were no longer needed.
Guy patted his rival's shoulder. "That's a cry for help if I've ever seen one."
"I… I'm not sure if you're right or not: I don't know what his grieving process is."
"He might have a point about your slothfulness and smut-consumption though."
"And we're done here." With his own seal, Kakashi disappeared using the Body Flicker jutsu.
There was much between them that needed expression. Whether it was productive or not was anyone's guess. While their relationship started rocky, it was doing well for a significant amount of time. Then politics reared its ugly head to drive them away, and the truth they kept hidden for so long emerged at the absolute worst time.
Naruto stood alone at the practice field once again, staring at the wooden posts. It was where he confessed his deepest insecurities to Hinata and where he felt those insecurities creep up: he finally became something, a shinobi, and was threatened with it being taken away. Of course, it was all a lie. His life was riddled and run by them. The Tailed Beast inside him was right, even if it was goading him. He was too valuable to keep as a civilian.
Kakashi stood some ways behind him. "Odd place to hang out, don't you think?"
"Remember when you lied to me during the bell test?"
"I lied to all three of you."
"No, I mean that I needed to pass it to be made a ninja." His eyes narrowed. "After all, I was already one to begin with."
"What are you really trying to ask me? Because we both know it wasn't that simple. Where is this coming from?"
Naruto created a single shadow clone and drew a shuriken from his pocket. "Just shut up." As his copy went through hand seals, he spun on his heel to throw the ninja tool., his clone following suit.
The forest behind the jonin was littered with black steel while he sank into the earth, avoiding the shadow clone shuriken entirely. He tunneled over to the ground beneath the boy's feet and moved to grab them. His good-eye widened as his hands tightened around air, their target having jumped with a kunai in hand. Leaning out the way of a descending stab for his eye, he jumped out and caught a Gale Palm courtesy of his clone.
They jumped in joy before it disappeared in a cloud of smoke. "Oh come on!"
The real one submerged the clone and jumped out. "Did you really think it would be that easy?" He threw a kunai at both his hands and rushed before he could make any signs. One Explosive Shadow Clone was all it would take, even if it'd take them both out, and he had chakra reserves for literal days. Taijutsu was his best bet.
The boy bounce-stepped in and blocked a retaliatory knee he felt reverberations throughout his body on contact. A hand grabbed his forearm to put him into a lock, but he elbowed the man in the gut before he could slip behind him. Spinning on his heel, he followed with a kick his opponent leaned out of.
Kakashi swept the foot his punk genin was supporting himself entirely by. He moved to secure his falling foe in a hold, but the lad made the snake sign and clapped his hands. His eye widened as he watched him aim his palm at the ground, launching himself spiraling dozens of feet into the air.
"I don't need a fake sensei!" He crossed his pointer and ring fingers, creating enough clones to block the sun.
"Never thought I'd use this against one of you." He lifted his forehead protector to reveal his Sharingan. "You're even better than I was at your age." His fingers went through the ox, ram, and snake signs. Channeling chakra into the moisture of his breath and creating more of it, he filled the area with thick mist.
Naruto raised an eyebrow. "Zabuza's jutsu, huh?!"
His clone scoffed. "We could kill that idiot now!"
"Fuck yeah!" Another yelled.
"Stupid Kakashi!" The rest snarled in unison. "It didn't save him either!"
They descended into the miasma. A minute after, they realized they had no idea how to counter it. The Narutos made Gale Palms, but that only spread it further to make it slightly less harder to see. Bumping into each other, they striked on reflex. It took some time but eventually all were reduced to one, the original.
He stomped his foot. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me! Fine! I'll just blow up this entire place!" He moved to put his fingers together when an arm snaked around his neck, hooking his chin beneath an elbow.
"I'm really starting to like you, Naruto," Kakashi said, unhooking his pouch with his free arm to prevent a stab-assisted escape.
"G-Gaylord!" He forced his elbows back into his gut for a second before trying to make clones. His opponent pulled one of his arms back before he could complete the sign. "Dam..mit."
The victorious jonin hefted his charge over his shoulder, dispelled his jutsu, walked to the wooden post, and set him down against it. "In any other circumstance, I'd probably be proud of you for this, but you really haven't learned anything from the test."
"What the…" Naruto's eyes fluttered open and saw the familiar sight of his body in ropes with a one-eyed masked man looking unbearably smug squatting in front of him.
"Well, if it isn't my sleeping piece of shit."
He, face bearing Nine-Tailed features, strained against his bindings. "Fuck you!"
"I'm just jo–" Kakashi paused as spit splattered over his mask. "Was that necessary?" He flickered behind the wood post, avoiding another. "What's gotten into you?"
"I don't owe you anything, you one-eyed fuck!"
"Don't you think you owe someone you were trying to kill an answer?"
He scoffed. "That's rich coming from you."
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"Wouldn't you like to know."
Kakashi stood up. "I can't help if I don't know what's bothering you."
"Help? Help?! Since when have you tried to fucking help me?!" He turned to glare as best he could behind him. "And I don't mean whatever bullshit you tried to pull in Wave! That was for the sake of the team!" He frowned, features returning to normal. "You don't actually care about me. You want me to appreciate you, so you can feel better about yourself. When Orochimaru came, you gave me away like I was some pet you didn't want anymore; don't act like it was to keep me safe or for my sake: I hate that fucking excuse, and we both know I'm a weapon to keep those stupid villagers safe."
The jonin parted his lips, paused, and shut them along with his eye. "...I once held you when you were just a baby, and I was terrified of you."
"What?"
"Thirteen years ago, I was part of the anbu. I was just fourteen then. You were a high-value asset of the village, and they entrusted me to care for you from time to time, a shivering little baby crying for his real parents." His eye opened with remorse. "I was terrified they'd leave you with me because of one thought." It narrowed. "That you'd turn out like me." Drawing a kunai, he walked to his side and cut him loose. "Love me or hate me, I accept you as you are." He eye-smiled. "I know I'll never be your father, but you will always be my student."
Naruto glared at him for a moment before running off, concealing the tears emerging from his eyes. "Fuck you!"
Kakashi watched his sensei's son disappear in the distance. He didn't know whether or not to go after him. The help he wanted to give was received. After all, he didn't try to kill him again after he was free. Something he was doing must have been right. Jiraiya being his new guardian likely wasn't going to be well-received news though.
AN: One thing I feel like should've been more in canon was breathers between arcs. Not filler, though I'll admit I really liked some of those in Part 1. Just time for things to set in. Other than showing the consequences of the Minato reveal, I wrote this to show how everyone else is doing.
Hope you enjoyed the fight scene because it was probably one of my favorites to write Very Part 1 inspired. The best kind of fights in the entire series, at least when there's little exposition.
Feel free to leave your thoughts in the form of a review or PM.
