One Month Later

"Thomas…" Kimberly whispered as the fear shot through her. She was so glad he answered the phone, but she didn't even know why she was calling him. He couldn't do anything aside from comfort her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Thomas asked, completely awake as soon as he heard the fear in her voice. "Kimberly?"

"I…I…please come get me," Kimberly said as she just managed to turn a sob into a hiccup. Thomas scrambled out of bed as he started throwing on clothes, her fear transferring into him.

"I'll be there as soon as I can," Thomas said as he paused for a moment, but only heard her cries. "Get what you need and go to the living room- I'm coming for you."

"Thank you," Kim whispered as he hung up and he grabbed his keys. He hastily typed out a message to Theo and Robert, letting them know he might be late for morning classes. Whatever was going on, he needed to get to her. That was the only thing that mattered.

Kimberly sat in the darkened living room, watching for Thomas' jeep. The fear kept pulsing through her as she saw the dream over and over. She hoped her dad wouldn't wake up, because there was nothing that he could do to help her. Her gut told her that the only person that could help her was Thomas. She saw Thomas' jeep roll past her house and then watched the lights cut. She had never snuck out before, but had decided that it was worth it right now. She walked over to the front door and then gingerly opened it, she took one glance back to make sure her dad was still asleep before quietly closing the door and locking it behind her.

She ran over to his jeep and climbed in the passenger seat. She saw Thomas studying her and she just shook her head. She desperately wanted the dream to go away, but it seemed like more details just kept surfacing. How was that possible?

"Hey, talk to me," Thomas said as she locked eyes with him and he saw the terror in her eyes. "Did you see something?"

"I…I don't know…" Kimberly whispered as Thomas closed his eyes for a moment and then nodded. He shifted his jeep back into drive and started driving. She barely paid attention to where he was going and solely focused on his hand holding hers. Images kept flashing across her mind and she tried so hard to stay present.

"Hey…Theo and Amelia are waiting for us," Thomas said as she looked at him and then looked around to see that he had driven to the Power Ranger Academy. She gave him a confused look and he let out a sigh. "I'm going to stay with you, okay? Nothing will happen to you."

"Why here?" Kimberly asked as Thomas wiped the tears away and he gave her a sad smile. "Tommy…"

"I think your prophetess powers have finally shown up," Thomas said as he saw the terror flash through her eyes and he gently cupped her face. Kimberly broke as the sobs came and he wrapped his arms tightly around her as she clutched to him. He heard footsteps behind him, but kept his focus solely on her. He knew that Theo and Amelia could help them, but he also knew that he might be the only one that could really reach her. She slowly calmed down and he took a tentative step back. "What scared you this much?"

"Can I get paper?" Kimberly asked as Thomas felt something nudge his side and he grabbed the notebook and pen. He passed her the materials and he took a step back. She started furiously writing and he looked back to see Theo and Amelia were both still in their pajamas. Neither of them hid the concern on their faces as Theo passed him a cup of coffee and then nodded towards a set of camping chairs that he hadn't noticed when he drove up.

"What happened?" Amelia asked as they settled in the chairs and he kept his eyes on Kimberly. He desperately wanted to protect her from this, but he knew that he couldn't. He knew that all he could do was be there when she came out of the prophecies.

"I've never heard her that scared," Thomas whispered as Amelia and Theo exchanged a glance. "She asked me to come get her, but since she got in the jeep…I don't know…something has been different. Is this what it is like?"

"At first, yeah. It can be like this," Theo said as Thomas buried his head in his hands and Amelia gently rubbed his back. They both could feel the stress rolling off of him. "You did the right thing to get her here- we'll send one of the other prophets to her dad to let him know what is happening."

"He's not going to let her stay," Thomas said as Amelia and Theo exchanged a glance. "We're still kids, she can't decide this on her own."

"Actually she can. Once a prophet's powers come in, they're considered adults. It's too dangerous for them not to be able to make decisions that will keep them safe," Theo said as he let out a sigh. "But we will be sending Atlantis and Phoebe to talk with them. They have the best chance."

Kimberly slid out of the passenger's seat and walked over to the three of them. She held the paper out to Thomas and he took it from her as she buried her face in his chest. He clutched her to him as he started to read. As he finished the paper, it fluttered to the ground and he held her even tighter. He locked eyes with Theo and shook his head as he started to cry. She had seen her father try to kill her for turning into a prophetess.

"How likely…" Thomas forced out as Amelia looked up at him and she shrugged. Prophecies depended on the prophet and Kimberly was so young that they had no idea how accurate she would be. "Hey- look at me."

"Why would he do that?" Kimberly sobbed as he squeezed his eyes shut for a moment and then looked back down at her. "Why?"

"I'll keep you safe. I promise," Thomas whispered as she just nodded before throwing herself back into his arms and he stared up at the sky. He didn't even know if that was possible, but he knew that he would try.

"She's sleeping," Thomas said as he walked out of his bedroom and looked between Theo and Ameila. "Dad…"

"You are going to take care of her, help her start her training. We're going to take care of everything else," Theo said as Thomas nodded and he started chewing on his bottom lip. It had been a long night for all of them, but especially for her. After the first vision, she had had two more- these being Power Ranger specific. "T- do you want me to stay?"

"Please," Thomas said as Theo wrapped his arms around him and Thomas sank into him. Thomas finally felt some of the weight lift off of him and he felt like he could breathe for the first time since hearing Kimberly's terrified voice.

"Robert is on his way over. I need to get these to our archives, do some comparisons to see…to start figuring out her profile," Amelia said as Theo nodded. She gave him a quick squeeze on the shoulder before she left Thomas' apartment.

Thomas slowly pulled away and went to sit on the couch. Theo settled next to him as Thomas leaned forward, settling his elbows on his knees and his forehead on top of his knuckles. Theo glanced around the apartment and realized they were going to have to move Thomas again. If Atlantis and Phoebe were able to convince her parents to let her go to the Prophet Academy- they needed to get them to safety. If they weren't able to convince them- they were going to need to start a watch on her home- immediately. He knew that Thomas was going to want to be part of that watch and he didn't blame him. He heard a light snore come from Thomas and he gently pulled him back onto the couch and Thomas slumped against him. Good- Thomas needed to rest too.
