Hello! Welcome on this story! So... It's my first story on this site, I am already writing on other internet sites, most notably Wattpad.

Now onto the story principle subject: Izuku got a quirk related to the Warhammer 40k universe, won't gonna explain it in much details, just gonna let you discover how it works in the two first chapters :) !

Chapter 1: Awakening.

Izuku Midoryia had never told anyone about his quirk; in fact, he didn't even knew he had one...

It had all started a few months after the doctor's visit, after the words that had broken him to the core, and his family too...

After his father had beaten him into unconsciousness, and had silenced his mother about the punishment.

After Kacchan started harassing him about being quirkless...

It all began with a strange dream... a child... But he was lit up with gold, no, he shone like gold...

When Izuku woke up the next day, he dismissed the dream as he had all the others: for him, it was just a dream...

But it wasn't.

Over the next few years, he witnessed the infant's accelerated growth, from infant to child, showing incredible intelligence for his age, then to a man, tall, very tall, taller than any other human, strong, with a face imbued with calm and silent sadness, and framed by a mane of ash-black hair, the man had the beauty of a marble statue, with a face grave and imbued with silent sadness.

Then this man began to ascend, quickly becoming humanity's leader, guiding it back to the stars, helped by soldiers named Thunder Warriors, after millenias. Millenias Izuku knew nothing about.

Images flashed by in his dreams, but he understood them all, assimilating them with uncommon speed...

He saw the creation of 20 genetic sons of the one whom men in his dreams called the Emperor. He saw the kidnapping of the 20 sons by entities he'd never seen or heard of before, the 4 Chaos gods.

Khorne, the bloodthirsty god of blood and war.

Nurgle, the grandfather of the Plague, god of entropy, pestilence and disease.

Slaanesh, the perverse, the god of seduction, excess and pleasure.

And Tzeench, the weaver of destiny, the god of magic and change, the master of time

The gods dispersed the 20 sons, and Izuku, God knows how, was able to see the locations of 18 of them at the same time, and how they had been received by the population. He had, however, lost track of two of them, swallowed up by a dimension he discovered at the same time, the Warp.

The domain of the 4 chaos gods and hordes of demons, used by mankind to travel, Izuku witnessed a number of apparently highly dangerous travels in that dimension. He saw the destruction of several ships, swarmed by hordes of demons who managed to pierce through barriers looking like shields, named Gellar fields, and saw precisely the close quarters fighting that took place on these ships, as the crews tried desperately to repel the demons that overwhelmed them, slashing humans to pieces in atrocious fashion...

As he watched, other images were assimilated by his mind, he saw the Emperor, creating from the genetic material of his 20 sons, 20 space marine legions, 2 however, the two whose genetic material came from the 2 sons Izuku had lost track of, went horribly wrong, and had to be purged and annihilated.

Izuku saw how the Emperor, led the 18 remaining legions into the stars. Space Marines, as Izuku called them, replaced the Thunder Warriors, who retired. The 18 legions sailed through the stars, recovering their genetic fathers one by one, Izuku then taught their names, to the 18 demigods, and the names of their 18 legions.

The first legion, the Dark Angels, led by Lion El'Jonson, proud fighters.

The third legion, the Emperor's Children, led by Fulgrim, seeking perfection in everything.

The fourth legion, the Iron Warriors, led by Perturabo, mastered the siege technics.

The fifth legion, the White Scars, led by Jaghatai Khan, speed freaks.

The sixth legion, the Space Wolves, led by Leman Russ, beastly indeed, but formidable in melee.

The seventh legion, the Imperial Fists, led by Rogal Dorn, complete opposites of the Iron Warriors, masters of fortress construction and defense.

The eighth legion, the Night Lords, led by Konrad Curze, nightmares in armor, spreading terror among their enemies.

The ninth legion, the Blood Angels, led by Sanguinius, the red angels, the angels of blood, experts in hand-to-hand combat.

The tenth legion, the Iron Hands, led by Ferrus Manus, using a monstrous quantity of vehicles in their spearheads, and keeping a deep coldness and disdain toward civilians.

The twelfth legion, the World Eaters led by Angron, bloodthirsty berzerkers.

The thirteenth legion, the Ultramarines led by Roboute Guilliman, experts in strategy.

The fourteenth legion, the Death Guard, led by Mortarion, experts in chemical warfare, and literally walking tanks when it came to taking damage.

The fifteenth legion, the Thousand Sons, led by Magnus The Red, peerless magicians, a legion was made up entirely of sorcerers named psykers by the Imperium of Humanity.

The sixteenth legion, the Luna Wolves, led by Horus, brave soldiers ready to use their weapons in melee at any time, and specialized in schock assaults.

The seventeenth legion, the Word Bearers, led by Lorgar, preachers of faith rather than real fighters.

The eighteenth legion, the Salamanders, led by Vulkan, Izuku's favorite legion, using incendiary weapons, but always ready to jump into the fires of war to save civilians like All Might

The nineteenth legion, the Raven Guard, led by Corax, the shadows were no longer so safe for the enemies who faced this legion; they fell from the shadows to annihilate the enemy.

And the twentieth legion, the Alpha Legion, led by two twins, Alpharius and Omegon, was inpersonification in the flesh, masters of espionage, they were everything, and sowed doubt within the enemy forces.

Izuku followed their every move.

Then new images appeared.

He could see the myriad of technologies that had been invented or recovered from ancient times, the formation of branches within the Imperium and much more.

But this knowledge led to others... in particular, knowledge from other planets...

He discovered the 'Xenos', extraterrestrial life forms, notably two of them for now, the savage and bestial Orks, with their rudimentary but formidably efficient technology and penchant for violence, and the Aeldaris, the elves of ancient stories and from the books for kids, with their three sub-branches, the Drukharis, maniacs of torture and pain, the Harlequins, dancers of the void, and the Craftworlders, those coming from great ships called Craftworlds, created with a kind of spectral marrow, all the Aeldaris were common in a sense, they were afraid of the god Slaanesh, who devoured them like delicacies. He also got to know their deities, or what was left of them for the Aeldaris...

And every morning, Izuku would wake up, get ready for school and think about what he'd seen. It fascinated him, but also worried him: was it normal to see a series of dreams all linked together? And above all, so complex and... real? The boy had absolutely no idea, and repressed the question in the depths of his mind, in the free space not occupied by the galaxy his dreams had created...

One event, however, changed all that.

/

One day…

"All right, everyone... I've finally received your orientation sheets..." The teacher looked at them with narrowed eyes, staring at each student with sternness, then suddenly relaxed, and a smile formed at the corner of his lips as he tossed the sheets into the air. "Well, I suppose you've all applied for the hero stream, haven't you?"

A roar suddenly filled the classroom as all the students rose to their feet, cheering, applauding or giving each other friendly slaps while using their quirks, though this was immediately calmed down by the teacher who reminded them that the use of quirks was forbidden in the school. All but two. Izuku remained in his place, shy as ever, and especially with his condition. The second was Katsuki Bakugo, Kacchan. Izuku's childhood friend and bully ever since he'd discovered that Izuku was quirkless. The explosive blond's only reaction was an annoyed sigh, as all the others were getting on his nerves and were useless.

"Don't place me with the rest of these extras, I'm much stronger than this bunch of misfits."

The hubbub grew louder as the students protested, and Kacchan's 'shut up' did nothing to help.

The teacher, after having succeeded in demanding silence, began to hand out the orientation sheets again and stopped near Izuku's table, murmuring. "Let's see, Mr. Midoryia, where did you apply for..."

He looked at the sheet before emitting a strange sound, between surprise and strangulation, his eyes widened as he rerode the sheet. "MIDORYIA POSTULATES IN UA'S HEROIC COURSE?"

The class suddenly turned around, all eyes on him. The poor boy cowered from the sudden attention. Then came the scream.

"DEKU? IN UA? DID YOU LOSE YOUR MIND OR SOMETHING?"

The rest of the class burst out laughing, mocking him. But Izuku feared Kacchan more than the others…

When the class ended, Izuku tried to put his things away as quickly as possible, but just as he was about to leave, he found himself face to face with a cruelly smiling Bakugo and three of his underlings, also grinning.

"So, Deku, trying to get into UA eh?" the explosive blond asked, raising his hand. Izuku froze immediately. Small explosions began to form around the blond's hand. "You think you're up to this, Deku? A pile of garbage like you at UA? A shame for everyone. I'm aiming to outdo All Might, and I will, you'd be useless, you're just a junk pile for the society."

This was the first click in Izuku's mind, and he heard a voice in his mind, no... not a voice, but rather a bestial roar, but he understood its meaning instantly. And had a sudden urge to flash a savage grin

Smash.

Then another voice, this time a deep one, which made Izuku want to tear Bakugo and the other three into little pieces in an orgy of blood.

Kill

But Izuku restrained this sudden need. And showed a confused expression. That is, until he heard Bakugo tell the other three.

"You guys know what to do."

The other three laughed and surrounded Izuku, who continued to watch with a bewildered look on his face... Then he took an explosion to the face, causing a burn, making him stagger backward, then he felt his legs being swept away, at the same time as his bag was removed from his back, Izuku fell heavily and hit his head against the ground.

Second click.

A soft, seductive yet incredibly frightening voice whispered to him...

"You're perfect... You're perfect... Let me control you... Let me show them your divine perfection..."

He replied with a short 'stop, stop... ', directed at Bakugo and his henchmen, but also at the mysterious voice. He got two contradictory answers. A laugh that faded in his mind, and a shoe in the chin for Bakugo.

"Stop it? Let me laugh you deep piece of shit."

Izuku was half stunned, his eyes seeing blurred as his brain was filled with pain signals, he could barely see the teacher, still present. He looked at the adult with a pleading expression, but the latter looked at him, and lowered his eyes, totally uncaring of his situation.

Then he looked at Bakugo again.

The latter was holding his bag, and had taken out his notebook, from which he turned the pages with a mocking laugh.

"Useless, completely useless..."

He made an explosion, and the notebook began to burn, then he threw it out of the open window.

"You're a good-for-nothing, understand that, why don't you go jump off a roof and hope for a quirk in your next life?" the blond scoffed, and his laughter mingled with that of the other three, then, without showing him any further attention, the four left the room, leaving behind an Izuku covered in bruises and burns.

The boy stood up, shaking his head, as new voices appeared. Four, the seductive, the bloodthirsty, and two new ones, one that seemed to gurgle, as if the person's throat were filled with mucus, and one that sounded like a crow.

"Useless? Useless? You're useless? Why not kill/secrete/make a bloody piece of art/expose it to your power?"

Izuku murmured 'shut up' as the voices continued to speak, while packing up his scattered belongings... Then he left the classroom...

The first thing he did on leaving the establishment was to look for his notebook. He found it, a rag, burnt and soaked from his time in the establishment's fountain.

In his mind, the beastly, roaring voice returned, this time accompanied by a second, almost the same one, and Izuku had the urge to scream WAAAAGH and bang on the first thing that came within reach.

The poor boy shook his head in disbelief... Now everything was connected...

'WAAAAGH' was the Ork war cry.

The demonic voices he heard were... Warp demons...

"I'm going crazy...", muttered Izuku as he turned to leave... He could hear the voices of the creatures from his universe now...

He walked through the streets on his way home, checking the damage done to his heroes' repertoire... It was irreversible, some pages were completely ruined... He'd have to plan to redo it all on another notebook.

However, he hadn't expected the voice that came from behind him.

"Perfect! Just what I was looking for!"

A viscous substance surrounded his limbs, immobilizing him, lifting him off the ground and turning him around. He could only see a slimy thing with yellow eyes before slime entered his nostrils, mouth and ears...

Last click...

Izuku could have screamed in pain as his psyche seemed to explode.

He found himself as if in a movie theater, but in his own mind. He couldn't move, and his dreams seemed to continue...

Betrayal... Billions of deaths... He witnessed the damnation of half the legions of Space Marines...

The Emperor's Childrens... becoming deformed horrors.

The Iron Warriors, using their siege weapons to kill innocent people.

The Night Lords, falling from the heavens to strike terror into the hearts of those they once called allies.

The World Eaters, killing indiscriminately, accompanied by their demented laughter and sprays of blood

The Death Guard, their long journey into purulence, stuck with their fleet in the Warp, becoming bloated things oozing with filth.

The Thousand Sons, desperately fighting the Space Wolves after warning the Emperor of the impending betrayal.

The Luna Wolv- no, the Sons Of Horus, at the head of the attacks, screaming 'death to the false emperor!'

The Word Bearers, betrayed, fallen, their faith shattered, summoning demons while striking at the hearts of their former brothers.

The Alpha Legion, becoming everyone's nightmare, hiding in the shadows, in the light, shattering the confidence of every...

He saw the death of Horus, he saw the wound of the Emperor, he saw the corruption of billions of machines, he saw the horrors caused by fighting, blood, mud and guts. He saw death of Primarchs… And much more…

Istvaan V

Calth

Prospero

Terra...

So many names, so many heroes rose and died.

Then the images flew faster and faster by in his mind, Izuku couldn't take it anymore... Too much knowledge, he'd seen too many deaths, he was probably insensitive to blood and gore now...

Then... Everything stopped... A date was whispered to him. M.39

He found himself in a room. In front of a large jury...

The Emperor in his Golden Throne

Gork and Mork

Khorne

Nurgle

Tzeentch

Slaanesh

Cegorach

The Great Devourer

Tau'va

Khaine

And many other minor gods...

And they all spoke with one voice.

"You created our history, you learned everything, you know everyone, from the smallest atom to the biggest star, you know us all. Thus, we deem you worthy to control us, each and every one of us. Make good use of what you have acquired... We serve you. And the universe you created is under your control..."

And he was sent back.

He came back to his senses, what had seemed like hours in his head had been only a quarter of a second in reality, and tried to struggle, remembering what was happening, and completely forgetting what had been said a few seconds earlier by the deities.

"Damn it! Are you going to stay still in the end?"

The villain growled, and hit Izuku with a slime tentacle.

Rage.

Izuku wasn't someone who could easily be enraged; in fact, he'd never been enraged in his life. But right now.

Rage...

Rage...

RAGE!

He managed to spit out the slime in his mouth and screamed. A howl filled with rage, hatred and bloodlust that shook even the villain.

Then Izuku sank into unconsciousness. But just before he fell into that unconsciousness, he heard a war cry he'd heard and seen all too often in his dreams... No, his thoughts. His mind.

"FOR KHORNE! BLOOD FOR THE GOD OF BLOOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"

This war cry was followed by the roar of a chainsaw and a powerful gunshot, and a blurred scarlet and gold shape slammed into the villain, forcing him to let go of Izuku, who fell to the ground. He heard the slime villain's cry of surprise and terror, a thunderous maniacal laugh... Izuku believed it was a dream… Yes… But someone came to save him… But the battlecry, the gunshot, the roaring of the chaisaw… Was a dream…

And the world went black...

/

All Might swore. He'd lost that slime villain. He didn't know this part of town... He couldn't believe it. The symbol of peace sown by a pile of slime because of his poor knowledge of geography and the city.

He simply couldn't believe it. He coughed into his hand, and was forced to land on the roof of a nearby building. When he looked at it, his hand was covered in blood. His limit was already approaching...

If All for One hadn't hurt him that day...

He might have been able to prevent the villain from escaping, but All Might really hoped this villain wouldn't cross anyone's path.

"He won't! I'll get him!"

He leapt, propelling himself dozens of feet into the air, and scanned his surroundings. He found nothing.

Then suddenly.

He heard a scream. All Might turned his head in that direction. It wasn't a scream of terror, this... was a bellow… And it was filled with immeasurable rage.

And it was the bellow of a teenager.

This was followed by a thunderous war cry that echoed through the neighborhood.

"FOR KHORNE! BLOOD FOR THE GOD OF BLOOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"

Then the roar of a chainsaw and a shot from a large-calibre weapon. Too big to be conventional.

All Might was able to redirect himself in mid-air, and propelled himself with deep concern behind the plasticized smile on his face, had the villain stumbled upon a civilian trying to defend himself? Given the thunderous war cry he'd heard, it was unlikely, or else the villain had shouted it. As he made his way towards the spot in question, he heard more gunfire, and the roar of the chainsaw sword, which seemed to be slicing into something.

This sound repeated itself a pair, and stopped just as All Might arrived.

Holy...

It's a good thing the slime villain wasn't made of flesh and blood, because then there'd be a fine case of homicide. Well... technically, what he was looking at was a homicide.

Slime was everywhere, splattering walls, bushes, everything within a three-meter radius. The villain was 100% dead.

There was also a kid, with scraggly green hair, wearing a school uniform, and carrying a bag. The poor kid seemed unconscious, but All Might had no doubt that it was he who had uttered the scream he'd heard.

Then came the third person.

All Might felt a chill.

That man... Had such an aura... A deep bloodlust...

The person standing in front of him was his height, even a little taller, and was as wide as he was with his big muscled form, and was encased in scarlet and gold armor with some kind of armored backpack-energypack on his back. The man in armor turned his head, standing half in a kind of black rift that floated in the air, and looked at All Might through the green lenses of his helmet, which was topped by two kind of horns with skull motifs painted on them. A black grid beneath the helmet's eyepieces suddenly made a crackling sound, and a maniacal, bloodthirsty laugh erupted from it.

All Might noticed strange runes engraved in the armor, and chains hung from his belt, then his eyes fell on several different things.

The man's armor was covered in green slime. It was undoubtedly the killer

In his right hand, he carried a sort of imposing, rectangular pistol, with more runes caved on it.

In his left hand, he held a kind of large, chain axe. The peace symbol could see a handle, and the person's fingers suddenly pressed down on it. The toothed blade began to rotate, slowly, with a whirring sound, then the weapon soon produced a roar as its teeth turned faster and faster.

His right bulby shoulderpad bore an insignia made of brass, representing a planet with a hound's jaws closing on it, while his left one still bore this strange rune.

The last point that caught his attention, however, was the heads.

Attached to leather straps that hung right next to the chains on his belt, they were hung by the hair, he could make out the features of a man and a woman.

All Might's heart filled with anger, this... monstrosity had killed innocent people! And he hung their heads like a trophy!

The man in armor laughed even harder... And then charged.

All Might let out a cry of surprise and jumped back, the whirring blade of the axe passing where his neck had been barely half a second before.

Damn! The bugger was fast! Even... Abnormally fast for someone of his size and build, he'd hardly seen the blow go off, only a blur.

He had to bend down suddenly, and the axe blade cut a small strand of hair at the top of the two big strands of hair that made his very recognizable among every hero

Then All Might struck, propelling himself and using the One For All, sending a powerful punch into his opponent's stomach.

"SMASH!"

The man was propelled flying backwards several metres, before settling back in mid-air and stabilizing himself. The boots of his armor dug a three meters long furrow before the man came to a halt.

All Might was shocked.

A blow like that should have knocked out his opponent, but his armour had only been pushed inwards... Speaking of his punch...

His hand was hurting.

All Might shook his hand, his smile twisting a little at the tips.

"Ouch... That hurt...You seem to be perfectly fine tho!"

He remarked. The man chuckled in return, before lunging forward again, with a mixed cry of mad joy and pure rage, this time brandishing his pistol.

All Might saw the black hole in the barrel, then the shot went off.

The shot grazed him, and crashed into a wall, digging a fist-sized hole. If All Might were to get hit, the damage would be almost equivalent to that wound he'd received when facing All For One. However, this moment of distraction came at a cost.

All Might had forgotten the enemy's speed, he realized his mistake and refocused on his foe. He was in the air, axe roaring and brandished... about to decapitate him.

But none of this happened. A black rift opened between them, and the armored man was swallowed up before the rift closed.

All Might blinked several times. What... what had just happened?

Then he heard a loud, panicked gasp and saw the boy straighten up, looking around totally confused and dazed. All Might approached him and asked, kneeling down to his level, "Everything is fine?", the boy nodded frantically, his eyes landing on the slime that was smeared everywhere, then landing on him again, All Might noticed a big gleam of joy and admiration in his eyes and the kid immediately asked him a thing "CAN I GET AN AUTOGRAPH? "Pulling out a notebook from nowhere, he handed it to him with a pen, All Might's smile widened, and he signed the notebook. The boy became excited. The truth was, that behind his smile, All Might couldn't hold on any longer. His time limit was running out, and the pain in his side was becoming too much to bear. But he had one last question.

"Tell me little one. Do you know who that man was? With red and gold armor? With green optics on a helmet with horns? And carrying some kind of chainsaw axe and a big rectangular pistol about this size?" the symbol of peace asked, giving the approximate size of the pistol.

The boy's smile turned pensive, a flash of surprise and confusion passed through his eyes, before he lifted his head.

"No, I don't see who it could be, sorry Mr. All Might... I was unconscious the whole time."

All Might noticed the hint of hesitation when he answered, so it was a lie...

"All right. Well young man, I hope you have a wonderful day!"

His limit became critical, and he took off like a missile. He landed almost a kilometer away, on a roof, and deflated, taking on an emaciated form with skin on his bones... He spat blood into his hand... It had almost all gone wrong... If this rift hadn't saved him... He wouldn't have lasted...

He sat down on the ground and looked up at the sky... The boy had lied, but why? Who was this being in red armor? He had a hunch that he'd see this kid again one day, and that he'd show extraordinary things. But right now he would have to report to Tsukauchi that an homicide took place…

/

Izuku was filled with joy. But also full of confusion and doubt.

He had just met All Might. All Might, for heaven's sake! His idol! And he'd even received an autograph! It was the best day of his life!

But on the other hand... The description of the person Izuku hadn't seen...

Looked too much like images he'd seen.

A puppet of rage and need for blood and death.

Two words that sent shivers down her spine. They were synonymous with death, slaughter and blood.

Khorne Berzerker

Only one had shown up, but what did that mean?

And he understood.

The deities of his universe... They'd just put themselves at his service, the rage he'd felt before fainting.

He had never been quirkless. He had been the host of an intelligent power. One that would decide when he could start using it. He had the power of a universe in his pocket.

He grinned. So that red blur figure he saw was real…

If what he thought was true...

So...

He held a power…

One of a universe.

One where there was only war…
