Hiccup didn't know what to do. Last time he's encountered the god, Freya had been there to stop him. But she wasn't there fact no one was there now. He couldn't think, couldn't yell for help, he was completely stunned. The evil god slowly barred down on the boy. Hiccup's heart was racing, his breath shallow, something was rising up in him, he'd never felt like that before. When the god got close enough Hiccup's hand shot out. Fingers wrapping around his throat. The surprised man lost his footing and fell, with Hiccup landing on top of him. His mind when to a dark place, he couldn't control himself.

"Do you feel that? Your vision slowly fading, my words becoming further away." The man under him desperately trying to pry Hiccup's hand from his neck.

"Hiccup!" Toothless yelled. Hiccup looked up, wide eyed, losing focus on what he was doing. He was pushed off and awkwardly fell over. The man he had been pinning down previously, shuffled away and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Toothless ran up next to Hiccup.

"Hiccup, what was that? What were you doing? Who was that?"

"I. It was… It was that god. From before. The one from the house. He knows about us. He knew about what we talked about with Freya. He knows everything about us. It made me angry. I wanted to kill him. I don't know what he wants." Toothless grit his teeth.

"Well at least you dealt with it. We'll have figure something out, but we have other things that need our attention." Toothless helped Hiccup up from the ground. He dusted himself off. "Are you ready to speak? Do you think you can speak? I'm not going to force you after that. If you don't want to, I can do it in your place."

"I do, but I can't let you. I'll figure something out. When we're up there would you keep and eye out for anyone suspicious? I think that he left the island. Especially after what I did to him. But he's crafty and he could disguise himself. So don't go out of your way to accuse people but be careful."

"Okay I will. That won't be an issue. Well I got you something for you to eat. We still have some time before it all starts. I'll start a fire for you. Toothless started cooking Hiccup's fish. While they were cooking Toothless rejoined Hiccup. "Hey. We haven't really had a chance to talk since coming here. How have you been? Are you happy that we came? Are you ready to go home?" Toothless sat down next to Hiccup, wrapping his tail around him.

"Well I kinda thought this was just going to be us, but as it turns out, we're being constantly watched. Not only by someone who is trying to help us but also someone trying to seperate us. I have to go make a speech on something that is totally foreign to me. The hot spring is nice, but there was this dragon there the whole time. And he just kept talking and talking, and he would sleep next to me at night and try to be all cuddly and nice to me. But it turns out that, the dragon and I would have the most amazing night together. And much like all the other times, I felt a way that I can only describe as loved. Loved in a way that only the right person can bring you. The person who you belong with, a mate. He even went hunting and fishing with me. So overall? Pretty good. Really good even. I just hope that I get to see that dragon again. I didn't even get his name. Maybe he'll be here next year. Maybe he'll be at the speech and I can convince him to move to the island."

"Oh? Maybe I know him. I could introduce you to him. What did he look like?"

"Well, he was sleek, had these beautiful black scales, they were firm but his soft, and the texture. Gods, it felt to good to touch. Oh and his voice, not as deep as you'd expect, especially for something his size, but still the best thing that I've ever heard. Not that I heard him talk too much."

"And what does that mean?"

"All I'm saying, is that I wouldn't care how much pain I would be in the next day. As long as I could fell that way again, and again." Toothless got up to grab the fish out of the fire. As he left, he draped his tail over Hiccup's shoulder. A shiver ran up his spine as he watched the magnificent creature walk away from him. He grabbed the end of the tail, holding onto the fins at the end. Toothless stretched his neck out and had just enough to grab the fish from the fire. He carefully moved as to not disrupt Hiccup, placing the hot fish on a rock near them. He kept turning and circled around towards Hiccup.

"Having fun?" Toothless asked sarcastically.

"Oh. Sorry. I was just. I don't really know. Toothless there is something I have to admit. Sometimes when your around I get nervous. I forget what to say and I don't know how to act. Like I'm a little kid with a crush. Not someone who has a mate and is feared by anyone who isn't a dragon." He chuckled to himself. Toothless pushed the stone with the fish over towards him. He laid down behind the human, wrapping his body around him.

"Have you ever thought that getting nervous is a good thing? I don't know. Or maybe it's like you're reminding yourself that your life is crazy. And you get nervous when I'm around because at the end of the day I'm still a dragon. Something that your species, sorta, since your not exactly human anymore, is afraid of. Actively fights, and unlike you, avoid them at all costs. So being a little nervous is okay." The large black dragon nipped at Hiccup's shoulder. "Because who knows. Maybe one day I'll eat you, and feel no remorse about it." Hiccup laughed at him between bites of his food.

"If you were going to do that, it would have been when we were starving to death, stuck in our old house. You would have taken more than my leg."

"Now I'm definitely going to eat you. You're too smart for your own good. You know too much about how I act. It's like you've spent almost everyday with me for years and years."
