Justice Across Space and Time: Justice of Three Heroes

Chapter 27

This set will be a bit of an odd one, but I wanted to do the movie tie ins with my own OCs. Originally I had written this separate because I didn't know that the movies were canon. So here we are. I'm going to be changing around a few factors and maybe giving a different focus with my OCs. But you'll just have to see. Now then, let the movie begin.

(Izuku POV)

I can't believe I got this chance! To go to the floating city of I-island and meet some of the greatest minds of the support industry! I really can't thank All Might enough for this chance. As I'm looking out the window, All Might says to me, "I didn't realize you'd be this excited. I'm glad I invited you." I look back to my mentor with a smile. He is in his Medium Might form and snacking on some peanuts on the plane.

I look down sheepishly and ask him, "are you sure it is alright I'm coming along with you?" The greatest hero's smile widens, and he tells me not to worry about it. "The invitation was clear and I'm welcome to bring anyone I want as my guest. And before you say that it is usually family, don't forget we are connected by things far thicker than blood young man." At hearing that, a smile of my own grows. Thinking back on him training me to be able to handle One For All, as well as learning from my other teacher about both of our latent true meta potential.

I asked him about inviting Jotaro and Saphentite, but he just says that he could only invite one person. "And that person was you no doubt. I had planned on that from the beginning," he tells me as the pilot announces that we will be landing soon. All Might then looks around before saying, "I really do owe those two so much. Without their help I wouldn't be able to maintain my muscle form for very long. But even with the fights with the Nomu and even you and Jotaro, I can still last about four hours before I start to feel any kind of strain."

"I guess it's time for me to change as well," I say with a smile, before heading to the lavatory to change. I get out my green hero suit and get ready for the events to come. I think back on all that has happened to me. From being announced quirkless, to meeting All Might, Jotaro and Saphentite…. Or should I say John and Sahirah. With the former training me initially to handle the power of OFA, and then the both of them training me more and helping me unlock something beyond the limitations of a quirk.

Then applying and training at UA high school, with all three of my teachers at my side. Growing past challenge after challenge, even giving hope to those who feel hopeless. As well as unlocking a greater secret to OFA that no other previous holder could. And tying together with my true meta skills. All on my path to becoming the greatest hero in the world.

(No POV)

After the plane landed All Might and Izuku were going through the airport with All Might asking Izuku about some various trivia about I-island. Unfortunately, even with some trying to ease off his eccentricities, Izuku still starts on a mutter storm. "That's a few too many details young Midoriya," All Might notes about with a laugh. After they have passed through security, the system announces the pre-opening of the I-Expo. "An event that showcases the development of the projects our team has been working on."

After they have left the airport, Izuku is amazed at the sight of the island in front of him. The multitude of pavilions showing devices of all kinds. People with quirks using their abilities relatively freely. "Unlike back in Japan, people can use their quirks freely here for demonstrations. You should give them a look later," All Might explains while trying to look up the details for the hotel.

But then he gets swarmed by his fans. Izuku as well has to deal with people recognizing him from the UA Sports Festival, and him being announced as a quirkless hero with insane power. Once they finally get away, All Might's face is covered in lip stick. As is Izuku's. "I didn't expect to get held up as long as we did. I'm afraid we're going to be late," All Might says while wiping his face. Izuku then looks to him before asking what he meant.

"I wanted to drop in on an old friend of mine. I haven't seen him in quite some time. Do you want to come along?" the large hero says to his protégé. After thinking about it for a second, Izuku is happy to agree to go along. All Might then mentions that he hasn't told his friend about OFA or that he passed the power on. "You haven't told him about OFA? What about your true meta power?" Izuku asks with a skeptical look. All Might gestures to be quiet before saying, "the former is only because danger tends to follow the power of OFA. As for the later, I plan to talk to him about it later."

Izuku then thinks about the burden that has been passed to him. And the need to face off with the ultimate evil eventually. But while he is thinking about that, he sees an unusual sight. A blonde-haired girl bouncing towards the two on a pogo stick. But All Might chuckles a bit, and the girl just calls out, "there you are Uncle! Finally!" As she gets close, she jumps toward All Might and wraps him in a big hug.

"Welcome Uncle Might!" the girl says while All Might is laughing. "It's so good to see you, Melissa!" All Might says before thanking her for the invitation. The two have a quick conversation about the last time they had seen each other before All Might sets the girl down. Izuku on the other hand is just confused by the whole situation.

All Might then asks where 'Dave' is hiding, before Melissa says, "oh he's in his lab. He had a breakthrough on some research he's been focusing on for years. But he's also working on trying to understand the newly activated true meta phenomena as well. It is so amazing that quirkless people have this potential locked away! Also, he has no idea you are here. This is a surprise to celebrate his work." The two start on a new conversation that makes Izuku feel more alienated in the moment.

All Might then realizes that he left Izuku out and introduces him and Melissa. "It's nice to meet you! I'm Melissa Shield," said the girl before offering her hand to shake. "Well, that makes more sense. I'm a first year in the UA hero course. Midoriya Izuku!" the green haired boy says after taking his glove off to shake Melissa's hand. "Wait the hero course. And did you say Midoriya? As in one of the quirkless hero students that went to the finals of the tournament!?" At hearing this Izuku is surprised she knew about him.

Melissa then starts looking over his costume and picking apart the design. Had this been an Izuku before meeting Jotaro and Saphentite, he would have been freaking out a lot at a pretty girl looking him and his costume all over. Now though he is a bit calmer but still confused as to why she is so close and looking him over.

Before she can get too distracted, All Might coughs to get her attention. "OH! Right! I got distracted. If we hurry, we can surprise papa in his lab. This way Uncle Might," Melissa says as she shrinks down her pogo stick into a small device. The two heroes follow her to visit All Might's old friend.

Back toward the airport though, a man calls in to a contact. "We infiltrated the expo with no problem. When do the goods arrive?" His contact then tells him to wait till three pm. "You'll find them at gate 66. There will also be some interesting other additions to your group. We found a few who would be very interested in wreaking some havoc of their own." The villain nods before saying, "Then we'll be waiting."

At the central I-island tower, David Shield is looking at an old picture of All Might on his phone. His assistant, Sam, then comes in to tell him he finished moving the equipment. When they leave a testing room, Sam mentions that he should take time to have lunch with Melissa. "She's busy at the I academy." "I thought they were on break for I-expo?" Sam says with skepticism on his face. David just smiles before saying, "they are but she's doing independent research."

"You know me. I am my father's daughter. "For better and for worse," Melissa says with a smile. Both men are surprised to see her there but still greet her warmly. She then thanks Sam for taking care of her father, before said man ask what she is doing there. "Oh, you'll see. Since you finished one of the stages of your research, I invited someone here to celebrate with us." When questioned about who it is, the girl turns back toward the door.

"YES, I AM HERE! SHAKING WITH EMOTION FOR OUR HEARTFELT REUNION!" All Might announces while standing by the door. On seeing him both Dave and Sam are shocked at seeing the number 1 hero. The big hero then comes up and gives Dave a big hug before saying he had come all the way to see him. With Melissa in behind the man saying, "well papa, are you totally surprised!" With a still shell-shocked face at seeing his old friend, Dave just tells both he is surprised to see him.

The two old friends have a back and forth for a bit, with one commenting that he already feels plenty old. "Glad to see you. My old friend," All Might says with genuine happiness and care. Dave's face lights up a bit as well before saying, "agreed. I missed you too." The two then fist bump. All Might then introduces Izuku to David. And once again, Izuku is star struck. But not as much as he would usually be.

"I know him! Professor David Shield! Top scientist in the world who received a Nobel quirk prize! He was All Might's partner when he was in America! And he's a genius when it comes to costumes!" Izuku exclaims. He then notes that Dave also made each of the costumes for each of All Might's iconic ages. "It seems I don't have to introduce myself," Dave says with a hand outstretched.

At hearing a cough from All Might though, Dave's smile drops. He then says, "listen it's been a long time. Can you two give me and All Might a little time to catch up." With an affirmative from Izuku, David asks his daughter to show Izuku around the expo. "I'm more than happy to show our work to a future hero! Right this way," Melissa says leading the way.

"So, do you want me to call you by your real name? Or do you have a hero one?" Melissa asks as they are walking. Izuku smiles a bit before saying, "you can call me Kibou." After they and Sam have left, Dave says to All Might, "you can drop the ruse Toshi. I know something has happened."

"Yeah. It's not as bad as it used to be, but it still hurts from time to time," All Might says before shrinking down to his medium Might form. "What happened? Before you said you could only handle about 3 or so hours a day in muscle form. And that you were in a skeletal emaciated form. But now….. well, you don't look like you used to, but you honestly look closer to how you looked when we were in college. A bit smaller though," Dave says as Toshinori leans up against a computer desk.

Toshinori smiles a bit before saying, "I met some people who could help me far more than any science or quirk ever could. Let's talk somewhere else." The scene cuts to Izuku and Melissa walking around the expo and the sights. Melissa mentions that "there is normal city stuff as well as the demonstrations here on the island. The only downside is that we can't travel. The scientists and their families have to keep their work top secret. To insure there are no leaks."

Izuku though is amazed at what he sees next. The monster hero; Godzillo! Melissa then mentions that a lot of heroes are brought out to the island to show off new gear and to sign autographs. "Yeah, I got to see that for myself right after we landed. Me and All Might were both hounded while trying to look for the hotel," Izuku says while thinking back on it.

Melissa laughs a bit before saying she wasn't surprised. "You were a top fighter during the UA Sports festival. Let alone being a quirkless person who gained a power beyond what most quirks can do. Not to mention, I know I've seen the video of you single handedly dealing with that hostage crisis without even needing to fight. You've lived up to the title you chose for yourself, Kibou," Melissa says with a smile.

"You'll see a lot of the other pros at the party tonight. I'm guessing Uncle Might already told you about that," Melissa comments as they continue to walk along. 'So that is why All Might told me to bring formal wear. I'm glad Saphentite took me on that shopping trip after the entrance exams. Though it was funny to see Jotaro cringing at having to try a suit on,' Izuku thought to himself. Melissa then called out that he had to check one place out.

At entering the pavilion, Izuku was amazed at seeing so many new hero devices in one place. After demonstrating a few, Melissa tells him that most of the devices were made using inventions that her father had patented. "I bet you are really proud of him, huh Melissa." "These support items will help heroes all around the world. Who knows how many people will be affected." Melissa says with a relaxed smile on her face.

When asked about what Melissa is doing on the island, she mentions that she wants to be a scientist just like her father. And that she was a third year at the academy on the island. The two then compare that they both need to study and learn much more. One about support items and ways to help heroes. The other is about what they can do with their power and how to become a better hero.

"Uncle Might really holds a special place in your heart, doesn't he Kibou? I still have to laugh at how much you were geeking out earlier," Melissa says with a chuckle. Izuku laughs a bit as well before rubbing the back of his head. "Look like you're having fun Izuku."

Izuku hears this from behind himself and turns back to see Uraraka Ochaco. "What are you doing her Uraraka?" Izuku says with a slightly panicked look. The girl just repeats herself with a slightly smiling deadpan look on her face. Then there is a cough to his right where Yaoyorozu Momo and Jiro Kyoka are standing as well. "You appear to be having a good time," Momo says, before Jiro pipes up with, "Midoriya. I heard everything."

"Jiro's earphone jack. The ultimate spy tech!" Izuku says out loud. Melissa though is a bit confused as to who the girls are. Izuku then explains that "yeah these are my classmates. I didn't tell them I'd be here. Guys, this is my new friend Melissa. She was just showing me around the expo a little bit." Right as Melissa is about to say that Izuku came with All Might, Izuku catches on and asks her to stay quiet. He says that it's a bit of a secret that the two are connected.

"Is there another way you could spin that I'm here?" Izuku asks with their backs turned to the girls. Melissa thinks for a second and gets her idea. "We invited Kibou here to help a bit with true meta research. My papa has been researching it but hasn't had any big breakthroughs on it. So, we were hoping he and a few others might be willing to help. Most from the states aren't as willing."

The UA girls nod realizing that many former quirkless might not be overly trusting of a research place that studies to help most quirked heroes. "Why don't we go for a drink at a café nearby?" Melissa says more diplomatically. While there, the girls discuss a bit about what they had done with their hero internships. Though in Momo's case she still felt she was just used as an assistant to Uwabami. "And I got put into a commercial for hair care products."

Off to the side, Izuku is just breathing a sigh of relief, that they aren't questioning anything anymore. "Thanks for waiting!" the waiter says to Izuku. Who then looks up before saying, "I know that voice! Kaminari!" The blonde teen is in a waiter's uniform alongside Mineta. When Jiro questions them about it, Kaminari says, "they needed extra wait staff and since it meant a free trip to the island we applied to work." Mineta then says, "we get to explore the island on our breaks, and we get to earn some money. Plus there's a chance for passionate….. OH MY GOD I THINK I'M IN LOVE!"

The last statement said after seeing Melissa and the two pervs grab Izuku and ask how he knows her. And when they try to show off to the older girl, Ida Tenya runs out of nowhere to scold them. When Ochaco questions him about it, the engine legged teen says, "I come from a long line of heroes. It's to be expected that we received an invitation to the expo. Sadly, my family was busy, so only I could attend."

Momo then comments that she is in much the same position. "My father is a shareholder in many of the expo's sponsor companies. It's so fun to get to go to the preview." Jiro then comments that they and the other girls had to gamble for the extra plus one positions. Melissa then offers to show the girls the sights, with Mineta and Kaminari sprinting over to ask if she could take them with her.

They then hear a crash and see a massive glacier appear at a rocky arena. An announcer comes on saying, "an unprecedented score of 14 seconds!" as Izuku and the rest arrive, they see Todoroki finishing up freezing the area and stopping the robot villains. When they see it is him each of them comments on why he is there. "My father received an invitation but couldn't come. So, I came as his representative. But I'm not the only one," the bi-color haired boy says before gesturing to two others in wait.

The first is the blue skinned genie girl herself, Saphentite Anwar. And next to here was the dark-haired sunglasses wearing brickhouse of class 1-A, Jotaro Svoboda. The former has her usual get up of a red tube top with harem pants and tabi style shoes. For Jotaro, he doesn't have the trench coat he usually wears with his costume. He instead he just has his camo pants and combat boots on his feet. And on his chest is his usual ionized shirt uniform. With the black body, and the white scales and red outline in the middle of his chest.

"We're planning to go next, but why don't you try the challenge as well Izuku," Saphentite says with a big smile on her face. Jotaro meanwhile just has a smirk as if to say, 'let's see what you can do.' Izuku smiles as well and asks to compete. The announcer girl nods while the battlefield is being cleared and Izuku steps up first. He takes a deep breath before saying in his mind, 'OFA full cowling 25%. Kinetic boosting and absorbing behind that.'

At the announcer's call, he then rushes forward faster than most can see. He mixes in a variety of kicks and punches to blast through the robots. "An incredible run! He's in first place at 8 seconds!" The crowd cheers with some noting that he was the number two at the sports festival. Jotaro nods before saying to Izuku, "not bad. You handled your power efficiently and I could tell you were absorbing some energy as you were moving." Melissa though thinks that Izuku seems just like All Might as he is fighting.

As Saphentite steps up, her legs turn into her usual tail, and she charges some magic in her hands. She flies off and rushes forward, quickly blasting two robots. She flies through again blasting robot after robot in her way. When she reaches the top, she destroys the last villain with a magic infused kick to the head. And she clears the challenge in 23 seconds.

"I couldn't quite get into the same space for doing this challenge. It's hard to take it seriously when the opponents are just dumb robots," Saphentite says as she flies back to the group. Ochaco then brings up why the two of them were there. Before Jotaro goes down for his attempt he says, "I got the offer to come here since I placed first in the sports festival. I wasn't overly interested, but Saphee wore me down to come here." He then leaps down before cracking his neck.

As the villains are being reset, Jotaro thinks to himself 'I might as well test out some of my other energies. I used a bit of spatial in the exams, but I haven't tested that other than what I did to help Toshi grow as a true meta. Here goes.' Before the announcer calls for him to begin, the group from UA see a strange cluster of light and lightning gather around Jotaro. "Is he thinking to?" Izuku asks Saphentite quietly. The genie girl nods and looks to her partner with worry.

At the call to start, Jotaro disappears and then reappears to the same point with his back turned to the battlefield. He starts walking off, and the announcer girl asks where he is going. "There's no point in fighting anymore. I'm already done," Jotaro says, and the audience looks up and sees that Jotaro cleared the whole course in less than one second. Almost everyone in the audience is so shocked they can't even respond. With the UA students wondering how they could ever hope to keep up with the apparent titan that is Jotaro Svoboda.

Once Jotaro is away from the rest of the audience though, he collapses on the ground. And looking like he is about to throw up. "I knew it. You still can't handle some of those stranger types of energy for periods of time." The one who said this is Saphentite and Izuku is next to her.

"It may have worked when you were training All Might, but you can't keep doing this to yourself. You're going to cause too many repercussions that you haven't had to deal with in a long time," Saphentite says as she helps Jotaro stand. Izuku agrees, before scolding him as well about being so reckless to show off. Jotaro just sighs before saying, "I know you are both right. But I needed to try and see if I could do it. If I don't at least make the attempt, then I won't be able to figure out how long it will be for me to recover."

Melissa had quietly followed the other two and wanted to talk with Izuku about trying to help him. She did overhear all of the conversation though. "You can come out. I already know you are there," Jotaro says to Melissa who was hiding. As she came out, she said she wanted to talk with all of them about a few matters. She then invites them to her personal lab to show them a few things. As well as asking them for personal details.

The scene shifts to the man on the phone earlier. "I've picked up the goods and the other guys as planned. Two of them should be interesting. The other will be a good partner for myself. What's that? All Might is here? It won't matter. We can handle him, especially with these others here as well."

The scene transitions again to Dave taking readings on All Might inside of a capsule. And what the reading shows shocked him. "I don't get it Toshi. Your quirk levels have dropped quite a bit. I know you were badly injured by AFO at one point, but you've healed since then. Even still. It's like your quirk is disappearing!" "If you're a hero for a long period of time your body starts to break down. Even with what my new friends did, it wasn't enough," All Might says after sitting up. He contemplates telling Dave about not just his new true meta power but also OFA.

Dave grips his fist tighter before saying, "at this rate the symbol of peace will disappear. It's only thanks to you that Japan's crime rate is at six percent. Most countries have crime rates of 20%. And some are even worse." All Might goes up to his friend and tells him that there are still plenty of capable heroes out there. "And there are those like you who support them as well. Besides I've still got plenty of time on my clock. More than enough to stay as the symbol of peace for a little while longer."

When Dave brings up the possibility of a new monstrous villain coming out of the woodwork, All Might says he has no plans to step down for now. "Besides. There's the next generation to look forward to. They will be the next hope. The next symbol, or symbols of peace," Toshi says while looking down.

He finally decides to broach one of the topics with his old friend. "Listen Dave. There is something you need to know. Or rather see." David Shield looks up at his old friend, and then he sees Toshinori glowing white while in his medium form. His eyes widen at what he sees before him. He wants to ask questions, but he can't form the words. "I'm not done for more than one reason," Toshinori says with a determined look on his face.

Well that took longer than I thought it would, but I hope those of you reading my stories like what I'm trying for here. I wanted to do the movies, but I didn't want to shove them the same way into the middle of the story. Not only that, but I wanted to add some new villains that relate to other elements from my Justice story. Please review.
