Justice Across Space and Time: Justice of Three Heroes
Chapter 29
Okay final act time. Just need to weave in all of the elements I added or changed properly and set up for the big fight with Wolfram and Kolag. And giving Melissa more of a way to shine. On with the show.

"So, any suggestions Jotaro?" Todoroki asks while keeping a close eye on Blackout. Jotaro is cracking his knuckles and sizing up his opponent. He hums for a second before saying, "I've got the big guy. He seems to be more of a tactile telekinetic. Keep your distance from the other guy. And watch your back."
With a quick nod the two hero students engage their opponents. Todoroki starts first by unleashing a wave of ice at Blackout. The villain quickly shifts his arms to dark matter and cuts through part of the wave. He then completely turns into dark matter and teleports himself out of what had been frozen.
He rematerializes right behind the half hot half cold user and tries to slash at the boy's back. Luckily said teen took the warning Jotaro gave him to heart and used a bit of his fire to push himself forward. 'I guess he meant that literally. Teleporters are rare as is. Let alone ones that have a direct offense to work with alongside their power. Guess that is what makes true metas a problem. They don't fit into one category like most quirks.' Todoroki thinks to himself before mixing up his attacks.
He fires off a few ice waves before sliding around to get better positioning. Jotaro and Gigante had taken their fight to a higher level in the plant, so Todoroki didn't have to worry about catching his friend as much. Or worry that the telekinetic fighter could break apart his ice and use it as a weapon. At one point, Blackout sank into the ground after an ice attack. Todoroki, feeling cautious decided to light up his fire side and make sure to have no darkness near him.
"Not a bad thought, but my power isn't like a quirk related to a shadow or darkness of any kind. Meaning that little light show won't help you in this case." Todoroki hears this from all around him. All of a sudden, he feels a pain in his legs. Blackout had reformed into dark matter spikes and jutted out right under the teen. The spikes pierced his right leg and cut along the side of his left leg. The villain started to come out of the ground, but Todoroki blasted down with his fire before releasing a bit more ice.
The bi-color haired teen's eyes narrowed as he looked at his opponent. The man seemed to be nursing a burn on one side of his body after that blast. His eyes then widened as he realized what happened. 'Good thing I launched those ice waves earlier,' he thinks to himself. Todoroki then turns up the heat from his right side and fire blasts all of the ice waves. As well as detonating the super cooled air.
The resulting explosion knocks Blackout around a bit, but he is still standing. "Damn. Didn't expect him to pull something that crazy out….. Crap! Where is he?!" the villain says out loud and he starts looking around wildly. The steam from the shifting of temperature caused a smokescreen that made the dark matter manipulator nervous. Just then he saw a shadow in the fog, and he leapt for it. He transformed his arms into blades and sliced at the target.
But it was just a decoy. It was an ice sculpture that Todoroki had made, and the boy was next to it with his fist ablaze. "Flashfire Fist!" he shouts as he blasts the fire back from his elbow, and when he impacts on the villain's stomach, he jets out as much heat as he can. The resulting impact blasts Blackout back into a wall. But Todoroki isn't done. He slides forward quickly while coating his left hand in ice he shouts, "Frigid Impact!" He brings his left across the villain's face and knocks the man out.
Just after the two had decided their opponents, Jotaro rushed Fuerza Gigante and threw the man up to a higher level of the plant. 'Now Shoto won't have to worry about catching me off guard. He can go all out.' Jotaro thinks to himself before getting blasted back from what felt like a long-range strike.
The top fighter of UA shakes of the hit before he puts together what happened. "So that's it. I thought those gauntlets were weird. Because you're a tactile telekinetic you don't have long range strikes, so you had to come up with a different way to fight at range. Those were probably for some quirk based telekinetic and you stole them to boost your power."
Gigante laughs before saying, "stole!? No hombre. I was given these weapons. And I'll use them to cave in your skull!" The luchador then rushes at Jotaro with a strong right hook towards his face. Jotaro deflects the hit but gets knocked back by the back kick that the man spun into. Jotaro though coils the strength in his legs and bursts forward with a flying knee right to the large man's chest. He blocks with his arms and is sent backwards before righting himself.
The two exchange a few blows before Jotaro gets knocked back and takes a kick to the head that knocks him on his back. While he is still shaking off the hit, Fuerza Gigante jumps on the rail and seems to be showing off for a crowd. He then leaps up and goes for a body slam.
But Jotaro rights himself with a flip spin up, before putting his hands on the ground to push himself at his opponent. He kicks the man hard in the stomach, sending him flying. Jotaro then lets out a quick jet of energy from his feet to propel himself toward his target.
When he reaches Gigante, Jotaro first kicks him in the side of the head. This sends the large man flying, and Jotaro jets around again. As the two are coming close, Jotaro backhand fist strikes and then uppercuts the luchador into the air higher. He then airblast pushes himself up towards and above his enemy, before unleashing a strong haymaker punch right to Gigante's face. Doing so sends the man careening to the ground with an epic impact.
Right as Jotaro was finishing his fight with Fuerza Gigante, Todoroki was knocking out Blackout and freezing the man in place. "Glad that's done. We should catch up with the others." Todoroki says when Jotaro jumps down to him. "We've got a different problem pal. I don't think they want us to go anywhere." Jotaro says while clenching his fist. Todoroki stands and sees what Jotaro is talking about. A large number of security robots were in front of them, and the lights were flashing.
Back at the gala room, Wolfram was getting the report that there were students from UA climbing their way up the tower. After he gets confirmation of the security drones being sent out, Wolfram says, "Raise any security barriers from floors 100 to 130 and let them pass freely. Just do what I say. We might want to head up soon." This last statement was to Kolga. Who gives him another icy glare but nods.
As the team that was sent ahead keeps running, Kaminari comments that they had been lucky that the path was clear since floor 100. "Do you think we've lost them?" Ochaco questions while running. Jiro and Momo dash those thoughts, with the latter saying, "it's possible they are leading us somewhere."
Ida agrees but knows they can only push forward. When they reach floor 130, they notice all of the security robots patrolling the area. "They must realize we're hero course students. That means we've got our work cut out for us." Izuku says while surveying the situation.
Melissa and Momo both prepare some things for the fight ahead. Momo creates an insulation cloth out of her back, while Melissa prepares not just the shock protection of her armor but readies a small EMP to disable the robots. Ida tells Kaminari to get ready, and he grabs the electrification user's arms before tossing him into the middle of the robots. "I won't let you guys down! Indiscriminate Shock! 1.3 Million Volts!" He shouts as he unleashes his super move. When it doesn't work, he turns up the voltage. But his brain fries and is left in his idiot state.
"Seriously? This is one of the problems with quirks." Saphentite says while facepalming. Melissa then steps up and uses a localized EMP that shorts out a few of the robots and muddles up the communications of the rest. Momo also starts creating smoke grenade with chaff in them to disrupt the communication even more. Mineta then stops a few of the robots, but more keep coming.
"Our turn Midoriya! Saphentite!" Ida says. Izuku and Saphentite give an affirmative and prepare. Izuku powers up OFA and true meta power to 25% and Saphentite floats above while creating some magic spheres.
Izuku remembers what Melissa said about the amount that the Full Gauntlet could take, and he tries it out. 'I'll use 50% of my power! SMASH!' he says in his mind. The resulting impacts plows through the robots all the way to and past Kaminari. Though the idiot gets blown back a bit by the shockwave.
'Might have overdone it. But it didn't hurt. My arm is fine!' Izuku thinks to himself while Saphentite and Melissa blast the robots that are in the air. Ida rushes in and catches Kaminari in midair before checking if backup was on the way. After Jiro confirms that there was, the team heads in the opposite direction.
"Izuku what's with that glove? It's amazing!" Ochaco asks with some excitement. "It works perfectly Melissa thanks!" Izuku says to the armored support hero. Melissa just smiles and says she was glad he brought it. "Yeah, I didn't know how to get it off my arm." Izuku says sheepishly. Saphentite though ends up faceplanting while thinking, 'seriously!? So, it was just a coincidence?'
When they reach the server floor, more robots arrive. When Ida, Izuku and Saphentite are ready to fight Melissa stops them. "We can't damage these servers. It could affect the island's security system!" she says while trying to think of a system in her armor that would allow her to fight too. Ida then says that they can handle things here.
"Midoriya. You and Saphentite should go with Melissa and find another way around," the engine user advises. Izuku nods before saying that they should focus on up close strikes and disruption attacks more than blasting through. "That should limit the damage to the servers." Ida and Momo nodded before saying they needed to get moving.
"Ochaco, you should come with us too." Melissa says while loaning out a few collapsible pieces of gear to Jiro and Mineta. While the gravity girl wants to disagree, Ida agrees and says they could need her. Once the group has split, Ida and Momo engage the robots in their own ways.
Ida kicking through the bots with his engines torqued up, and Momo making a cannon with ammo to stop the robots in their tracks. Jiro is shooting the cannon, while firing a few blasts from the wrist gun Melissa gave her. Meanwhile Mineta is either stopping the robots with his quirk or using the emp crossbow that Melissa loaned him to drop the robots.
They last for a while, but Ida's engines eventually stall, and Momo can't keep making ammo. But Mineta and Jiro manage to hold off the robots a bit longer due to the devices that Melissa loaned them. But that fails when the machines overheat or run out of power. "That's what you get for thinking you can take us. What about the four that got away?" one of the villains in the security room says while watching from the monitors.
When they reach the wind power level, Melissa mentions that their next destination is up a bit higher. "Luckily, we can all get up. Thanks to you Ochaco and Saphentite." The armored girl says. But the genie has a different thought. "We've got bigger problems. I'll engage the robots. You three get up as high as you can!" She then flies toward the robots that are pouring onto the level.
Melissa is trembling at the thought of flying since she hadn't perfected the jets on the back of her suit. "I can still make all of us weightless. And then we can float upwards." Ochaco says. Izuku though smiles before showing he can already fly a bit. "Just focus on yourself and Melissa. I can tell you are nervous about flying, but you can trust her." Izuku says while floating above the two girls.
With that they nod and Ochaco removes hers, Melissa's, and Melissa's armor's gravity. They start floating upward, while Saphentite is engaging the robots one after another. Izuku decides to give her a hand and blasts out a few Delaware Air force Smashes to knock away some of the robots.
But eventually a few of the robots do get the capture wires around Saphentite. She escapes a few of them, but one set seems to be made of something different. "What the?! Oh, come on! They used some cheaper materials when making this one?" she shouts as she can't use her magic on the wires. Eventually the rest of the robots capture her.
Right as they do though, Jotaro and Todoroki come out and smash through the robots. "Sorry we're late! We had to deal with a few more of these things." Jotaro says while punching through more of the robots. Once freed, Saphentite joins in blasting the robots, while Izuku, Melissa, and Ochaco make it to the level they needed. Once inside, Ochaco releases her quirk. And then asks what was up with the floating that Izuku could do. "It's a new part of my power. No time to explain!" With that they keep running.
Wolfram is getting annoyed by the problems that keep arising so he and Kolga head up to the top. While ordering Swordkill to engage. 'Just need to wait a little longer. If I had better control of my meta power, I could get out and defeat these fools no problem. But that will have to wait till later.' All Might thought to himself.
Right as the students are reaching the top, Swordkill emerges and attacks them. Ochaco is about to attack, but another villain keeps her occupied. Izuku blocks one hit, and Melissa engages the man next. She catches blade arms and electrocutes the man. While he is reeling a bit, Melissa breaks one of his arms with a strike from her left forearm. She then transforms the right into a cannon and blasts the villain through a wall knocking him out. Right as she does, Ochaco disarms and knocks out the villain that attacked her as well.
The three continue their way up blasting through or knocking out the various villains along the way. When they reach the top, they sneak around for a while before they notice someone in a vault. "It's papa! Why is he here?" Melissa asks, but Ochaco note that the villains could have brought him up for some reason. When they get inside to help him, they notice that Dave and his assistant Sam are getting a device back.
"All my research and they just took my device away from me. But now it's mine." Dave says while gripping his fists. When Sam mentions that they had called in the villains, Melissa is distraught. Upon calling for him, the two men turn and see the three students in the doorway of the vault.
Dave is surprised to see the armor that Melissa is wearing. Let alone the fact it looks to have battle damage. "What does he mean that it's like you planned it? Don't tell me that….. You're the one behind this?.. This was all you? Just to steal something?! It can't be true!" Melissa says while walking toward her father.
Dave just looks down in a bit of shame before admitting that it was true. Sam then says, "the professor was only trying to get back what was stolen. The device in this briefcase can amplify someone's quirk!" When asked if that was really possible, Sam explains that it can do it with no damage to the body or brain. "But it already causes some damage as is," a new voice calls out.
At the opening of the vault is Jotaro and Saphentite. The genie then grabs Ochaco and pulls her back. Saying, "I think they need to hash out a few things." Jotaro walks up and says, "you can't seriously be thinking there will be no consequences to this thing! If you amplify the power of a quirk, you could be looking at long term detriment."
"I think I know a bit more about quirks than you do young man. Though I don't deny that could be a possibility." Dave says while looking away from his daughter. Sam then explains that the governments put pressure on the two noting that it could have dangerous repercussions for the superhuman society they lived in.
Jotaro grips his fist tightly before noting in his mind that this is another problem that comes from too many powers, and government sticking their nose in superhero work. Sam then explained that they had put together the plan to steal the device and continue the research somewhere else.
Most of the teens present are shocked at all the revelations before them. Jotaro and Saphentite though have looks that convey indifference and suspicion. "I don't understand. There's something I'm missing, right? You'd never do this!" Melissa says. But Dave can only apologize. When Melissa questions him about why he did this, all Dave can respond with is, "I had to do it for All Might." This gets everyone's eyes to widen, even Jotaro's.
When Dave explains that All Might's quirk is disappearing, Izuku, Jotaro, and Saphentite share a look. "If he uses this device, he'll be his old self again. And not whatever he is going to turn into." Dave says before explaining that he wanted to help All Might get his strength and light back again. The two foreign heroes realize that Dave wants to keep the status quo that All Might had set. Not the possibility and change that could come when he uses his true meta powers.
Izuku starts to doubt himself as the professor explains more. But Jotaro taps his arm and tells the boy in his mind, 'this isn't on you. Or anyone really. Everyone wishes to keep things as they are. And are warry and afraid of changes. He's just not sure on the best way to react.'
Dave tries to say he doesn't care what happens to him, but Melissa shouts to him that he doesn't understand. "They all risked their lives! Do you realize how hard we were all trying to save everyone on the island!?" Dave is surprised by this and what she described, thinking it was all supposed to be an act.
"Of course, it was a performance," the scientists and heroes hear behind them. Standing at the door is Wolfram and Kolga. To the side Saphentite and Ochaco are tied up in what appears to be copper and iron, while being frozen in place. The man then says that the real act was pretending to not be criminals.
When Jotaro and Izuku turn to engage the boss, Wolfram traps Izuku with a few steel bars while Kolga teleports close and freezes Jotaro in place. The large teen is still trying to break out but even he is having trouble. 'She's trying to reduce me to absolute zero. Just have to keep cycling energy until I get a break.' He thinks to himself.
Wolfram then goes up to the scientists, while Melissa is trying to free Izuku. It is after this that Sam takes the power amplifier to Wolfram. Dave is shocked and asks, "you were going to hand it over to them all along?"
"You're the one who tricked me professor! I've been your assistant for all these years, and you let them take our work! We could have had fame and fortune, but no! I deserve more. I need to be rewarded! Otherwise, my entire career was a waste of time!" Sam says with tears in his eyes.
Dave looks down at the ground with anger at the betrayal laid before him. Then Wolfram points his gun at Sam and shoots him in the shoulder. When saying that it wasn't part of the plan, Wolfram responds with, "it was always part of mine." And fires again. But he doesn't hit Sam. Instead, Dave took the bullet for him. Jotaro can sense this and ups the energy running through his body, to try and break out of the ice. At seeing her father get shot, Melissa rushes at Wolfram and knocks the man back before firing a blast from her arm blasters.
But then her armor freezes up. The villain who had been hacking the security had gotten into her armor and stopped the girl. "You might want to look into boosting your systems more girly," the cybernetic eye villain says, while Wolfram picks himself up.
"Gotta admit that was a good hit, but this is done. Not sure why you are trying to be a hero now professor. It won't make what you did here today go away. Now we'll be taking you and you'll be making more of these." Wolfram says while knocking out Dave.
Izuku and Jotaro keep trying to break out of what has them trapped. But the former is more worried about Melissa in front of him and the latter, can't get enough energy running through himself to charge up. Right as Wolfram is about to shoot Melissa through the open face plate of her armor, Izuku breaks free.
Shouting, "DON'T YOU HURT HER!" He then rushes at Wolfram. The villain then raises up a metal wall to stop the boy. Izuku takes the time to fire a series of Delaware Smashes at Jotaro. The kinetic impact not only cracks the ice more but gives Jotaro more of a charge to push back against the freezing attack.
With a mighty shout, Jotaro finally breaks free and quickly kicks Kolga across her face. The woman turns into icy vapor before hitting the wall and regroups with Wolfram. Jotaro then takes the chance and runs over to help Melissa eject from her armor, before breaking through the wall Wolfram put up.
The metal manipulator puts up more walls while Kolga tries to attack from multiple angles. Izuku gives Melissa a look that tells her that they will handle the villains. She has to save everyone else. With a nod, Melissa heads for the security room and gets control of the security system.
With that the villains make their exit, while the heroes are freed and can fight back against the villains in the gala room. Jotaro and Izuku shake off the effects from another set of attacks from the villains. Izuku is breathing heavily, and Jotaro isn't much better. "Go after them Izuku. I'll free Ochaco and Saphee. I'll catch up when I'm done. GO!" Jotaro says while walking over to the girls.
Izuku nods before heading out of the vault. Melissa gets a hold of All Might and tells him that Dave had been taken captive. All Might says he's on his way there. But he decides it may be time to use something else. He hangs up on Melissa and shrinks down to Medium Might state. He then lets his meta power flow, and super speed dashes up the side of the building. 'I still need to be All Might for a bit longer. But I can use this to get me closer.' He thinks to himself.
On the roof the villains are loading into a helicopter when Izuku arrives. He's hurting but he hasn't quit yet. "Give the professor back right now!" He shouts as he charges up his power. He rushes toward the villain, dodging the metal pillars he keeps sending his way. When Wolfram threatens the professor with his gun, Izuku stops for a second.
Right when Wolfram is bragging and about to attack again, Izuku holds up his hand. This confuses the metal manipulator, until he sees that Izuku tightens his fist and holds it sideways. The boy then lets out four Delaware Smashes which knock the villain around and disarms him.
But Kolga is on the boy now. She freezes him in place before Izuku tries to break out. Wolfram takes the time to get the helicopter flying and away from Izuku, but the boy surprises both of them when he starts flying up toward the getaway vehicle.
He gets to the front of the machine and starts pushing it downwards. But then Kolga gets above him again and blasts the boy down. Right as both Jotaro and Melissa arrive, Izuku falls toward the building. Jotaro jumps up and catches Izuku, while breaking off the ice on his body.
Kolga attacks again with Jotaro knocking away the blasts. Right when Izuku thinks that they will get away, a light shoots up the side of the building. "Don't lose that smile young Midoriya!" A voice calls out.
Above the helicopter, All Might is up in the air. Announcing that he is here, and he will take back his friend. The hero then blasts downward through the helicopter and saves Dave. Right when Dave is apologizing for what happened, another pillar of metal shoots out and slams into All Might. Some of the wires then wrap around the professor and pull him back towards Wolfram. With Kolga beside him and creating an ice wall behind the two.
"Oh, come on! What is it going to take with these two?" Jotaro shouts while glaring at the villains. Wolfram emerges and is wearing the power amplifier noting that All Might didn't have the same impressive power he once had. All Might coughs a bit before trying to go in with a Texas Smash.
But the barrier that Wolfram puts up stops him. This shocks everyone, and then the number one is knocked back by the metal before being frozen in place. But Jotaro puts a stop to Kolga's plan and knocks her away again. "Don't go rushing in alone Toshi. You need us to finish this." Jotaro says after All Might breaks out of the ice.
Wolfram then pulls more and more metal up to surround himself and use to fight with. He laughs before saying, "I can set the price however high I want if I use it to kill the number one hero!" All Might and Jotaro start dodging as many attacks as they can so they can get close to Wolfram.
While Melissa is just in shock at what is happening, Saphentite appears behind her. "I think we can help the boys by taking a bit of stress off their shoulders." She then makes the armor Melissa had built appear around her before looking up at Kolga. She was attacking alongside Wolfram and could put out hits and quantities of ice that he needed the amplifier for.
With a nod, Melissa steels herself and powers up the jets on her armor. Her and Saphentite then rush in and knock Kolga to the side. Melissa then blasts the woman with first a shot from her gauntlets then grabbing her to tackle the woman away and throw her. Saphentite follows behind and fires a few varied elements at the woman. They fight across two roof tops to keep the frigid woman busy.
Saphentite thought originally that the woman would be weak to fire, but instead she seemed to not be affected at all. "I think she's converting the heat energy into ice! So, we can't fight her that way!" Melissa shouts. Saphentite nods before asking Melissa to buy her some time. The armored girl nods before rocketing forward.
Saphentite claps her hands and starts to create a magic circle under herself. While she is doing that Melissa has changed up some of the gear she is working with. She quickly converted one of her blasters to fire cold blasts, and another to use a bit of her coolant to freeze the air as well.
"This won't stop me!" Kolga shouts as she tries to teleport close to absorb some of the heat from Melissa's armor. But the woman gets surprised by a different function of the armor: a shock field. Kolga can't convert the electricity, so she backs away while Melissa shoots her with a cold blast.
The aspiring hero gets in close again and attacks with a few punches to knock the woman around. Before firing a few more frigid shots of her own. "This place is the middle of the ocean! That means I have plenty of heat and humidity to work with!" Kolga shouts as she fires off more ice shots. Freezing Melissa in place.
When the woman lands, she is planning to torment the girl a bit before killing her. But just when she gets close, Melissa ejects out of the back of her armor. "You're not going anywhere!" Melissa says, as the armor beeps before detonating. But not a fiery explosion. One that splattered the coolant from her armor and chilled it even more. This stops Kolga but not for long.
"It's done! And so is this fight!" Saphentite exclaims. Right as she is saying that the magic circle expands around the top of the building and engages. Saphentite quickly wraps up Melissa with her body, as the top two floors of the building are frozen solid. Including Kolga. Saphentite opens her eyes once it is done and breaks the two girls out of the ice. Both breathe a sigh of relief, before looking back to the battle with Wolfram.
While the heroines are finishing their battle, Jotaro and All Might trying to break through as best they can. But they can't keep up with the amplified villain. Just as more pillars are about to crush them, they freeze. Class 1-A had arrived. Todoroki and Ida worked to break apart some of the pillars stopping the two, while All Might works himself up more.
Saying to himself, 'how can I be held back by something as pathetic as a limit!' He then goes Plus Ultra and breaks through with Jotaro right behind him. The two heroes maneuver through the metal in their own ways. All Might using his strength and Jotaro using his venting manipulation.
Right as All Might got close, he shouts that the man should prepare himself. But Wolfram stops the hero with metal wires. Jotaro tries to free him, but he is distracted by the pillars all around. When Wolfram grabs onto All Might's old injury, both heroes wonder how he knew about it.
"So, he's gotten involved!" All Might says before noting that grabbing there wouldn't work. "Interesting. It doesn't seem to hurt you. But you are correct, I received and interesting offer from the man himself. When I asked why he did this he just said he wanted to help make your friend fall from grace. While regretting that he couldn't see the look on your face."
"Sorry but he's not alone! And we will stop you!" Jotaro shouts as he teleports, and axe kicks the top of Wolfram's head. While the villain is stunned, Jotaro double kicks him while sending himself and All Might back and out of the wires. But then both get slammed from all sides by the metal debris around them.
Just as they are being crushed, Izuku leaps in with a Detroit Smash and clears it all away. When they land All Might reprimands the boy. Saying, "young Midoriya. Your body can't handle this. It's too reckless." Izuku pushes his healing through himself before saying, "yeah, but it's a hero's job to save those in need. No matter what right?" All Might is shocked by what his successor said. Jotaro chuckles before saying, "you know he's right Toshi. It'll probably take all of us."
All Might laughs a bit before asking for Izuku's aid again and offering a hand up. Jotaro then puts a hand on either of their shoulders and helps to heal them both. "It's all I can do on short notice. Now…. Let's finish this," he says while cracking his neck. Izuku amps his power to 30% as All Might shouts, "LET'S GO!"
With that the three heroes rush forward intent to take down the metal manipulator. The villain had shaken off the hits that Jotaro had unleashed on him and was firing off as much metal as he could to slow them down. Jotaro noted though that the man seemed to be exhausted even without the hits he gave to the man. 'The thing must actually take a toll on the mind if you wear it for prolonged periods. We just need to get in there!' Jotaro thinks to himself.
Right as Wolfram starts sending more metal at the three, Ida and Todoroki engage as well. Stopping or breaking the pillars that would impede their path. From the building where Kolga was defeated, Saphentite had transformed into a railgun, and Melissa was firing shots from it.
The trio rush forward as fast as they can and smash through as many pillars as possible during the attack. As all three run up a pillar, Melissa's eyes widen and tear up as she sees them running in sync. Wolfram goes for broke and puts all the metal he can into a single huge cube. All Might, Jotaro and Izuku each grip their fists. Putting everything they have into the next strike.
'To overcome the crisis in front of you! By giving everything, you've got! And save people, no matter the cost! And defy a will that says all is lost! That's what makes someone….. A HERO!' all three think as they push forward as fast as they can.
Right when the cube is coming down on the three, two shout out, "TRIPLE DETROIT SMASH!" And they blast clean through the cube. While the rest cheer them on, this time they all shout, "GO BEYOND! PLUS, ULTRA!"
They smash clean through the bindings that Wolfram had tried to protect himself with and destroy his tower of junk. When Dave opens his eyes, he sees Izuku being just like All Might. And realizing that this was what Toshinori had meant by entrusting the future.
While everyone was celebrating the victory, Jotaro quickly went to get in close and destroy not just the amplifier, but to quietly destroy the quirks of the villain. "Don't you think that's a bit extreme?" Saphentite said as they were coming down.
Jotaro shook his head before saying, "we can't trust that he could break out. Better to make sure he can't do damage again. Especially not on this scale." Saphentite looked around before seeing her partner's point. But then says, "or maybe next time, you can trust in your friends more. We ALL had to work together to stop him. You don't have to shoulder everything yourself."
As she is saying that, Izuku had pulled himself out of the rubble and Melissa was running up to him. Jotaro could sense it and smiled before picking himself up. He stumbles a bit and Saphentite catches him. And then brings him into a hug. 'Please stop scaring me like that,' she says to him in his mind. Jotaro's eyes widen before saying back with his own thoughts, 'sorry Sahiraah. Guess I'm still reckless at my core.'
Dave wakes up when Toshinori in a half might form calls out to him. "I came to save you, my friend." All Might says, and all Dave can say is "Thank you." Then the successor of one and the child of the other call out to them. All Might tells his old friend he should thank the two of them. Melissa thanks Izuku, saying they saved the island. "It was thanks to you I got this far. Thanks to your Full Gauntlet I could save everyone. Thank you for all your help," Izuku says with a smile on his face. Until he noticed that he broke the device.
Their classmates called out to make sure they were all okay, and they responded that they were fine. Saphentite and Jotaro joined the two with the former helping up the latter. Jotaro gave Izuku a smile and thumbs up at what they had accomplished before looking out to the sea. And the sunrise is coming over it.
Toshinori helped treat Dave in his Medium Might form and told his friend he got the story from Melissa. "It's all true. I was so afraid you'd lose your light. Scared that the peace you'd built as a hero would fade away with you. And I'm not sure what to think about this new power you have. With it you could save people, but more would be asking how the former number one suddenly had a strange new power. And it would throw the world into chaos. But my ideas and that device were nothing more than a way to maintain the status quo. To ensure there would be no change. But the future was standing there in front of me the whole time. I just couldn't see it," the inventor says as he looks up at Izuku and Melissa, alongside Jotaro and Saphentite.
"Melissa wants to succeed me, and Izuku is your successor, isn't he? And they've got good partners and friends in Jotaro and Saphentite." Dave says while nursing his injury. All Might admits that Izuku has a long road ahead, and the other two have their own issues to work through. "But in them I see the greatest potential for heroes. Perhaps with a new partner beside them."
"I can see it too Toshi. Hope." Dave says while looking up to the four with a smile. As the sun rises on a new day, the four heroes at the top of the tower look out on what they protected and what they did. With smiles on their faces.
So now I've got a new record for story length. Let alone page length with this one. 16 pages of writing and 6500 words. Ah well. This is done at least, and then I can get back to Justice Across Space and Time. Hopefully you all liked this little take on the movie and the changes I made. With this done, it'll be time for the training camp in the main story. So please review!
