"Oh hush up." Hiccup laughed. "You knew this was going to happen, I gave you all the warnings."

"I know, I just didn't think that it was going to be so obvious. You really are your father's son, even if you don't look like him. And all those years ago you didn't even want to be compared to him in the slightest. Look at you now. Proud of yourself for being like him."

"Yeah well, things change." Hiccup shrugged.

"I suppose they do." The dragon sat down. "Now then it's getting late and no one has eaten yet, so let's get that fishing done." Hiccup nodded.

"Alright everyone." Hiccup called out. "Let's head down to the river and get some dinner." Hiccup stepped back and ran his hand down Toothless' back. "May I?" He asked. Toothless chuckled.

"Of course, it would be an honour." Toothless dropped his shoulder while standing back up, allowing Hiccup to climb on. Everyone else gathered around and mounted up on the remaining dragons. Once everyone was mounted Toothless rose into the air with all the others quickly following him to the river. The sleek black dragon sped ahead of the rest. Hiccup pressed himself against his dragon's back, working in tandem to help the Night Fury.

The pair arrived with time to make a circle, looking for a good place to land. While the others arrived Hiccup pointed to a few spots he thought looked good, and Toothless picked one and landed there. The others landed quickly afterward. The dragons ready to start fishing. Hiccup climbed off Toothless and waited for the others to dismount before talking.

"Alright then, you guys are free to go. Catch what you can for yourselves then for us." Hiccup instructed. The dragons raced off and stopped at the bank of the river before nearly in unison jumping in. As the humans arrived they watched the dragons breach the surface for air before diving back in. The humans watched the shadows under the water snap and bite as their dinner swam helplessly down stream towards them. Soon after, fish began to be thrown onto the river bank allowing the vikings to pick up their own meals. Afterwards the dragons began to jump out from the river themselves, each one shaking themselves off as they hit the ground. With the dragons as dry as they were going to get their riders jumped back on and headed back to camp. A fire was made swiftly after landing and food was set over it. The group of dragons were happily resting and the vikings were similarly happy to get off their feet.

Hiccup, laying against Toothless, started to chuckle to himself.

"Hmmm? What?"

"Was just thinking about freaking them out." Hiccup chuckled again.

"Oh yeah? Whatcha thinking?"

"Remember when you had to feed me when I was sick all those years ago? After my transformation."

"Oh yeah? So you want me to hork up something for you?"

"Just imagine their faces." Hiccup covered his mouth and laughed.

"What happened to not wanting to scar them mentally?" Toothless asked.

"I don't think them catching us mating and me taking a bite out of a fish you hork up is on the same level." Plus I'm a dragon, shouldn't I eat like one?"

"I don't think that's the issue. Plus you're not deathly injured or a hatchling. Plus if you wanted to eat like a dragon you would have just bitten into your dinner right as we sat down."

"Oh come on." Hiccup smiled slyly. "I'm just trying to have a bit of fun."

"You're gonna have plenty of fun when I win your little challenge tomorrow. Don't want you to have too much now so we can have more later." The dragon licked his human again. "Mmm I can already taste the lust on you."

"Sh-shut up." Hiccup stammered.

"Oh-ho look at you. I can't wait to make you beg for it. Now go collect your dinner before it becomes ash." Toothless nosed hiccup until he stood.

Hiccup grabbed the stick with his food on it and returned to Toothless' embrace. The humans ate their meals and started to share stories. But most of the time it was Hiccup talking. The humans asked him questions which would sometimes get a response from Toothless or Skullcrusher as well. A laugh or sigh from either of them. But Hiccup was happy to share. Telling them about his time running from Stoick, traveling with Toothless, what it's like to be in his position and live with dragons year round. How to deal with certain times of the year, like breeding season or egg laying season. And gave them tips on general maintenance things regarding their dragons. Diets, shedding, hygiene. Things he could think of off the top of his head.

"I'd like to ask you if there are things that you believe we could do to help them further than you can." Stoick asked.

"Well yeah there's a few things that I've thought about. Firstly being able to make ships. I can't build a ship on my own. Which means that I can't transport things very well. I can have a group of dragons carry something but one slip up or mistake means that whatever it is will probably end up in the ocean. There are definitely a few things that I've had them acquire that never made it because of that.

Secondly is Gobber's forge and Berk's ability to trade. A long while ago Toothless had an injury that sheared one of his tail fins off, making it so that he couldn't fly. So I made him a fake. Which worked pretty well as a replacement. Not the greatest build quality but I was on a time crunch and had limited resources. So while I don't have a time crunch any longer, I'm severely limited on the resources I can get while maintaining my want to no longer disrupt human villages. With a few exceptions. On top of that, my forge that I've created can't support the kind of work that I'd like to be doing. Whether that be creating replacement limbs to help those who have been injured, or to create armour that they could wear as an extra level of protection. Gobber's forge is more suited for that kind of work. Plus he could build on his shop if he needed more space. I have to keep my forge very small since we only have so much space. And while I am allotted more space than everyone else because of my status, I don't abuse that since it's not fair for the others. Plus Berk has enough space that a new larger forge could be created for the larger projects. The dragon training arena could be converted for instance. It's out of the way, large enough to accommodate multiple dragons standing around being measured or fitted, or helping.

That's something I would want to happen, if I were to be in Berk for long periods of time. I want that capacity to be able to help them.
