A/N: Jacob is 12 years old. He's the youngest one, Seth has his role. Everything else is the same. Seth is 17 years old.

"Chapter 3"

Bella Swan, The problem starts

"What," Jacob looked at the vampire before he could step forward and he felt someone nudging him, and making him step back a few steps. "Come on guys. Let me go to them please.." Jacob looked at Seth who was standing not in front of him, instead next to Sam and the others. Then who is- Jacob tilted his head and looked at Paul who was nudging him softly.

"It's alright Baby boy. There's nothing to be afraid of. They will be gone in a sec." While Paul looked at the others, Jacob only rolled his eyes and he pressed his ears to his head. Then Jacob whined again and growled at the ground.

"Jay. Are you okay?" He heard Paul asking him, but he didn't care. He wanted to see the Cullen's. So he will.

"Wanna see them! Please."

but Paul only answered him with a 'You-know-no-means-no' look. And Jacob tried to get help from the others but they were too busy talking about some things. Which Jacob didn't really understand. But that was alright. Jacob nodded while trying to see something from the back of the others.

Oh come on. Jacob whined and lifted his paw and showed it to the air. He doesn't know why. He just did it. That's all. "Ple-"

"No. We are not going to get involved with this. I'm sorry Carlisle. I- We don't want to get involved with this." Jacob ears perked at the voice of Sam.

Is he angry? Afraid? Had enough? Yes. That's the voice. Sam had enough. Ouch.

Jacob looked at Sam before at Paul and he slowly made his way towards the Alpha. "I said no." Sam growled at Edward before looking at the human girl. "But she's human. and-"

"I. Will. not." Sam was much bigger than Jacob himself. He shook his head before carefully nudging the black wolf. He heard Sam sighing and relaxing a bit. The awkwardness was in the air- but the killing vampires was more.

Jacob looked at Sam before licking the male and got a lick at his face by revenge. "Hey! It wasn't even far-"

"Jacob?" Jacob stopped at doing whatever he wanted to, and looked at the Cullen boy. Edward? Yes. Edward!

"Hey!" Jacob said happily and he saw Edwards smile. But then Jacob saw a woman next to him. Jacob tilted his head and moved his head towards the girl. It looked like the vampire boy understood what he meant and smiled. "She's my girlfriend. she's human and-"

Jacob's eyes widened as he looked at the girl who looked so uncomfortable. "She's so beautiful!" Jacob said while he jumped and barked. He saw Edward looking at him with a soft smile but he didn't care. He wanted to play now!

"Play play play!"

"Of course baby boy." Leah said while licking his head and looked at the younger boy with soft eyes. "I'm.."

Jacob's eyes snapped to the vampire family back and he heard the others growling before the vampire boy walked forward. "I don't and-"

"Enough. We are not helping. I'm not going to do this. We are not going to do this." Sam snarled before walking back to Jacob and standing in front of the boy full of protectiveness.

"Hey! I'm a big boy!" Sam snarled before looking at Jacob and sighed.

"You are not a big boy Jay. And don't mind us, but we're protective of the cubs. Which is you." Jacob shook his head in defeat and rather looked at the trees.

They're really great to watch by the way.

"You know I can be bigger right?" Jacob said with confidence before the silence. "Hey!"

"No you're not gonna be bigger baby Jay. You're a shape shifter, and after you're shifted you will be stuck at this height." Jacob whined and looked at Paul who shook his head but laughed.

"Not funny!"

"It is funny Baby. boy" Jacob growled but Sam stopped him. "You're ruining all the fun." Jacob said before backing away and going to Quil. Who was having so much fun. Too much fun. Jacob rolled his eyes as he walked over the older male.

"What's so funny?" Jacob asked but Quil just sneered. "Ah. Nothing Little guy."

"I'm not little!" Jacob snarled. "Yes you are" Leah said with too much confidence in his voice. "Are you guys kidding me?"

Paul only rolled his eyes and didn't try to answer the question.

The others however had so much fun which Jacob didn't.

"Sam. We really need your help. The newborn-"

"Newborn?!" Jacob heard the shout in his head and it made him almost dizzy. He pressed his ears to his head and shook it.

"Yes-"

Jacob didn't hear the conversation because he got pushed away. Maybe they wanted him to not hear things. But whatever. "

Who's that girl?" Jacob asked while looking at the red haired woman. Leah, who was with him, she was his babysitter, looked where Jacob and snarled. "She's no one." Leah spit it out and started nudging Jacob.

"Let's go Baby boy. We need-" before she could finish she got cut off.

"Jacob right?" Jacob made a questioning whimper and nodded at her. She can't understand them and Leah wouldn't want him to phase so-

"I'm ... I'm so sorry for everything I-" Before she could continue her speech, Jacob moved forward and nudged her. She looked surprised for a minute before starting to relax and petted Jacob's head. Jacob purred and closed his eyes as he nudged her more.

"Jacob stay away- get away from her! she-"

"My name is Isabella Swan but- call me Bella Jacob." She said while smiled and the younger shifter. Jacob's eyes met her and he barked while moving his tail happily. Leah looked like who would explode soon so he just sighted. Then slowly backed away and gave her a nod, she understood him and gave the boy a quick goodbye wave.

After a moment silence Jacob walked back to Leah and he already suspected he would get shouted at.

"Jacob what the hell!" Jacob tugged his tail between his legs and stayed silent. He didn't meet her angry look but he knew she was not happy.

"Wait till Sam hears about it- Oh. Wait till they hear about it!" Jacob only sighed while walking away from Bella. "I just wanted to make a friend... Lea..." Jacob said after a minute. She of course didn't answer him. Jacob thought she was still angry probably so he didn't say another word until they got back at Sam's place.

After some minutes he heard the loud noises of his pack mates and he got excited. "Let's go leaaaaaa!" But before he could run to them, he felt hands stopping him. He looked back curiously and at Leah. "Jacob. Promise me-" She already shifted? ohh

"Okay okay. I promise." whatever it was about.. He shifted not long after she went inside and walked in.

"So the baby boy wanted a new friend huh?" Jacob made a face because what? "Of course I want new friends .. Jerk." He said while crossing his arms. Then he started walking back outside cause he wanted to be alone. But of course, he met with a strong body instead.

"Sam?" Jacob asked while looking at the Alpha.

"You're not going alone boy. You should know that." Jacob rolled is eyes and sighed defeated. "Okay. I want Seth."

Seth got up from his place where he was sitting, and he was too happy for Jacob's liking. "Let's go Baby Jay!" Before Jacob could say anything, he realized his feet didn't touch the floor anymore. He's in Seth's shoulder.

"HEY! LET ME GO!" He heard Seth's laughed and said no. Then of course the others were no help at all again.

"Are-" Jacob sighed and stayed silent because he was tired. He just wanted to sleep now if he thinks about it.
