Captain Toad was farting up a huge amount of gas stored within him for he had to hold it in due to him trying his best not to jump, with the ever so persistent leader being surprised at how much he reeked.
"Whoo boy! Guess that's why people mock me for not deciding to jump!" Captain Toad heartily laughed upon which he fanned away his consistent stink that mixed in with the sweat coating his soaked clothes. "That was the most exercise I've gotten in a long time! It wouldn't surprise me if I ended up just fainting shortly after this!"
Evidentially the Toad Brigade captain found his words to be a bit true for eventually he did fall on his face; granted he still managed to keep on farting away in light of that: which was good because it kept all the enemies that could potentially attack him away.
