Captain Toad farted and burped due to stuffing himself with the variety of vegetables he found within a mountain alongside the turnips he had stuffed on his adventure from earlier on since he was making the most out of the delicious veggies that made his bloated stomach grumble with him occasionally burping to go along his rumbling rump's gassy emissions. "Phew! I sure do stink more than usual... but at least these yummy treats make up for it! I certainly was feeling kinda tired so to be exposed to my smelly fumes is definitely bringing my energy right back up!"
