All good things have to come to an end eventually, the bitter person would say. He thought they were just beginning. It was funny, and he was just over-exaggerating about his problems so he could be pitiful. But now he could finally understand. Unfortunately.
Ace tried to enjoy his favorite type of sandwich, which was full of crunchy and smooth veggies with cheddar and honey mustard dripping from the wrapper. But without friends to talk about what was the point, he sat down the sandwich on the wooden bench he was sitting on and hesitantly moved his hand to his swollen red cheek before dropping it dead beside him. His soul filled with sorrow and a sense of wanting comfort from his grandmother came to his mind.
He could imagine the rumors spreading about the fight between TJ and him, supposedly fighting each other over some girl which is a damn lie because every girl he tried to ask out complained about him being too fat or downright ugly for their liking compared to TJ, who he knew well had a higher chance of getting a girlfriend than he ever would. Even thinking about him and his condition worried him, even though it was his own fault for being in this mess in the first place. For what Peggy would say, but he didn't have the heart to hold a grudge against his best friend, and he didn't mean it on purpose.
He raised his ears when he heard the principal talking about him behind the door, frustrated in their voices. The door opened, and an older grade boy, a brown ferret, came in with great force. The door shut quickly as he tried to double-punch it with a loud growl. He sat cross-legged, staring at Ace with his legs up against his chest. Heavy tears streamed down his cheeks before he succumbed to his sorrow.
"Poor guy, he must have it way worse than I did." The yellowish-brown bear pondered, noticing the distinct clothing styles of his roommate representing bad mojo among the students who like to harass or physically assault people like Ace if they get the chance but now in a state of distress, which is surprising to him while at the same time sad. Even though students like him cause him harm now, he can't really blame them, as he gains knowledge about their behaviors with personal knowledge from TV.
Hey, umm, dude? Are you okay?
Ace asked quietly, tapping his finger against the wooden bench he was sitting on to hopefully get his attention, but he didn't reply and just glared at him before continuing back to his weeping . Ace stared for a moment since he knew that look very well and pondered for a bit while stitching his loose fur on his chin for another idea until remembering the unbitten sandwich next to him, which made him snap his fingers. He gently tossed his food toward the teenager who poked his head out when he heard a crunching sound from the wrapper hitting his side. He tilted his head in confusion and put it in his palm, and looked at Ace who smiled and flipped his hand to urge him to continue. For instance hed smile too a bit like no other and begin to take a few bites while humming in delight.

Your welcome man, and it's the least I can do since food can help people like my grandmother say. Ace scattered through his lunch box for another wrapped up Banh Mi sandwich just in case he wanted more food for later.

Well.. It's because my buddy got into a fight with this one dude Rusty. I told him to dont do it ,and he ended up getting hurt in the process, so they are blaming me for it as.. I really don't know. Both boys shared a laugh as they dap each other up like any friendly gesture between middle schoolers before waving goodbye as he followed the gray wolf to Mr.Golins office down the corridors.
