The Loud Rabbits and the Frog Princess

In the follow-up to "101 Loud Dalmatians," Lincoln Loud retells how he and his ten sisters join Tiana and Prince Naveen to find a way to break a nasty spell that was placed on them by the sneaky Dr. Facilier after being turned into frogs and rabbits.

22. Farewell to Thee, Ray

We all returned to the bayou in sad silence, where Dad gently placed a little box, where he had put Ray inside, onto a lily pad.

Ray's family floated beside us as Louis played a solemn tune on his trumpet.

We Louds, Tiana and Naveen placed some calla lilies onto the pad by Ray's box, which one of the fireflies sent drifting across the water and into the fog.

Hops comforted Lana as she continued to sob over the loss of our friend.

As the rest of us did the same, Leni noticed the night sky shining bright.

"O. M. Gosh!" she exclaimed, seeing what was up there.

We all looked up at the sky...where another star had appeared beside Evangeline.

Lana gasped. "It's..."

"Our little Ray!" Louis said, tearing yet smiling alongside Mom and Dad.

The fireflies cheered as we Louds, Hops, Tiana and Naveen hugged each other, for Ray had gotten his wish; to be with Evangeline forever.
