Prologue:

"… in a single day and night of misfortune, the island of Atlantis disappeared into the depths of the sea."

Plato, 360 B.C.

The sky was clear on a bright day and the large ocean in the color of deep blue sapphires was calm and smooth.

A bolt of white light flashed, striking the surface of the ocean! An explosion occurred and within seconds a giant wave was formed. A group of floating metal hammerhead-shaped vehicles sped away with a giant, lobster-like creature called the Leviathan. They began to flee for their lives!

"You fool! You've destroyed us all!" one pilot reprimand in Atlantean to his cohort.

"The wave is gaining!" another pilot yelled when he looked back. "We have to warn Atlantis!"

The Atlantean pilots attempted to escape from getting drowned by the tsunami.

"Too late!" the pilots cried out.

Within a few seconds, the giant tsunami consumed the Atlanteans and the Leviathan and continued to surge forward.

The surviving pilots flew through the canyons, zipped over winding rivers and bridges, and in front of them was the flourishing kingdom of Atlantis. Then, the Heart of Atlantis shone beams of bright red to warn the people.

Dark purple and black clouds covered the blue sky and blocked out the bright sun.

A watchman from the tower saw the vehicles flying towards the center and sees the oncoming wave. Knowing that they were in grave danger, the watchman had to warn the people. He hurried to a loudspeaker.

"Everyone to the shelters!" he called out. "Everyone to the shelters!"

At a bell tower, two more guards lifted up their heavy mallets and banged them against a gigantic bell to sound an alarm.

Within the city, the Atlanteans, (men, women, and children) ran and screamed in panic as the atmosphere grew dark and made their way to the shelters from the flood.

At the center of the city, the Royal Family, King Kakeshim Nedakh, his queen, and their only daughter, Kida were watching the danger approaching.

"This way your highness," another guard told the king. "Quickly!"

"Kida, come on!" the queen said, taking her daughter, and pulled her by her hands. Kida accidentally dropped her doll as her family began to run away. She reached her arm out to grab it, but she couldn't.

The Queen stops, gets down on her knees, and pulls Kida in front of her, taking her hands into her own.

"Kida! Just leave it! There's no time!" The Queen urged.

Then a beam of blue light appeared on the queen and made her stop. She stood up and looked at the blue light; her eyes glowed blue and they covered her pupils and light blue irises. Her crystal necklace around her neck began to levitate upward.

The king looked back and stopped to see the blue beams of light gathered on the queen as she froze in place, with the people running towards safety. A flash beamed over the woman as she froze still and was slowly lifted in the air. Kida was confused of what was going on, until she felt her mother's hand slip out of her and taking her daughter's bracelet.

"Mahtim (Mother)!" Kida cried as she saw her mother floating higher and higher towards the Heart of Atlantis. The little princess fell to her knees and held her hands out to the air.

"Mahtim!" Kida yelled in desperation and cried in tears.

Meanwhile, the people of Atlantis hurried to the center of the city for safety, large crystal blue shields were formed by the giant stone statues and closed everything off. The remaining people desperately attempted to pound on the shields to get it, but it was hopeless. Everyone looked back to see the tsunami making its way towards them, destroying buildings and statues in the process.

"Mahtim!" Kida called, until she was surrounded by the arms of her father.

"Close your eyes, Kida! Look away!" King Kakeshim ordered, making his daughter turn into her father's shoulder. The king looked up and his eyes widened, watching the crystal containing his wife spin faster and faster in the air and completed the shield, creating a bright flashing light.

Within a matter of seconds, the center of Atlantis, protected by the shield, began to plunge deep into the earth. The ocean splashed through the remaining land and swallowed up everything in its sight! Lighting flashed and thunder roared as the waves grew rougher. Then the ocean grew calm and the city of Atlantis was never seen again.
