Your still here? Huh, that's weird.. Onwards to Chapter 5!

Bart huffed in frustration as he walked around the woods searching for something to eat. Anything. Ever since everyone spread out to find food for the big feast about an hour ago, he hadn't found or killed any animal. Not one. How could he of all the kids not kill a single animal in the matter of an hour? Could it be the very loud battle cries he made whenever he charged? No, that couldn't be it. Battle cries, especially the loud ones where the animal can hear you, were an essential part of hunting. Everybody knows that.

"Something wrong, Bart?" The boy heard a voice from behind him and turned around. It was Terri. She was holding a bloody club in one arm and was carrying what looked to be a dead young boar with a cracked skull in the other hand. "No luck with food?"she asked. Bart shook his head and said, "Nope," Terri was quite surprised by that and hummed quietly, "Odd," she started. "I would have thought you of all people would have been able to catch something really quickly." Terri immediately placed her hands on her mouth, thinking she offended Bart. To her surprise, he agreed with her. "That's just what I was thinking!" he said. "I did everything that was done in movies. You make a very loud battle cry so the animal can hear you, and then you charge at it!" Terri stared at Bart dumbfounded. Was he being serious? "Umm, Bart... I don't think loud battle cries are effective when hunting," she said. He stared back, wide-eyed. "What? That's impossible! Movies never lie!" Terri was about to open her mouth to speak until Lisa appeared out of nowhere and said, "Oh, Bart, movies don't have to be 100% realistic." She then disappeared into a bush behind her, eerily similar to her and Bart's father. Bart and Terri looked at each other in confusion. They also didn't seem to notice another Bart walking in the background...

Terri shook her head. "Look," she said, "Do you want me to help you with hunting?" Bart thought about it for a while. It would be incredibly embarrassing to have to learn how to hunt from a girl. It would tarnish his reputation. However, he actually did need some help with hunting since his tactics apparently weren't working out. Bart gave in and nodded. "Yeah," he said. Terri grinned. "Great! follow me," she said as she picked up her club and kill and walked off, Bart following not far behind.

Despite what she said last night and even earlier in the morning, Lisa was quite nervous with hunting. She never killed anything intentionally. She was rather sensitive about it too. One time, when she was six, Lisa accidentally stepped on and killed an ant. She cried about it for days. That was two years ago. She's matured by now... even though she was eight years old. No, she will not be a coward. She will adapt to this island. She will hunt!

Lisa walked around the forest for some time looking for her first kill. She stopped at a small clearing. In the distance, she noticed a boar minding its own business, licking slime off of a rock. Very familiar slime. Seeing that slime rock made Lisa start to fume in anger. She hated seeing those stupid slime rocks. She was so stupid thinking that she'd be able to survive off those stupid things! Slowly, she crept towards the boar, gripping her spear tightly in her hands. After a moment, Lisa took a deep breath and charged the inner beast guiding her to the new way of life.

Adrenaline rushed through her veins as she ran towards her soon-to-be-kill. She took a big leap at the swine and, with all her might, Lisa rammed a spear right into the back of the boar's neck. The boar squealed in shock and pain from the spear's sharp blade. It tried to run away but struggled to do so. Lisa had stabbed the back of the boar's neck for a reason.

The back of the neck, or the nape, was one of the most vital parts of the body. It is what connected the brain to the body and allows the said body to function the way it does. If it is severed, it would lead to paralysis and even death. Lisa knew this. The swine soon became paralyzed as Lisa dug the spear further into its spinal cord, severing it. The boar collapsed onto the forest floor, no longer being able to move. It squealed helplessly as it was now at the mercy of a former vegetarian girl.

Lisa raised her spear over the boar's neck, ready to kill it once and for all. However, she made the mistake of making eye contact with it. The boar's eyes stared into Lisa's for mercy. Her bloodlust vanished immediately and was replaced by the moral she had yesterday before she took that bite of meat. Lisa lowered her spear. No, she couldn't do this. She couldn't kill an animal. That's why she became a vegetarian in the first place. But then again, she had eaten meat last night, and she had to admit, it did taste really good. It tasted much better than all of the plants she ate as a vegetarian. The inner beast became frustrated at the hesitation. Lisa was a different person now. She was not a vegetarian anymore. She said so just last night! She was an animal!

The war in Lisa's brain was very overwhelming for her. It caused her to close her eyes and, without even noticing, raised her spear over the boar's neck once again and struck down. The boar squealed in pain once again. Lisa had now ignored the wails and proceeded to repeatedly stab the boar's neck, blood flying everywhere. The only thing heard besides the swine's fading squeals was the squelching of the repeated stabbings into flesh.

The minutes have passed, and the boar's wails have since been long gone. Lisa slowly opened her eyes to see her results. The boar's head was almost completely severed off of its body, thanks to its multiple stab wounds in the neck. Lisa's face and dress was splattered with the boar's blood. The grass was soaked and stained with red. Lisa slowly lifted her spear off of her fresh kill, completely drenched in blood. Lisa Simpson, an eight-year-old intelligent little girl who despised violence and was once a vegetarian, had just killed an innocent animal.

Lisa stared at the dead boar for a long while, breathing heavily. She should have screamed. She should have cried and begged the boar, Apu, and Paul McCartney to all forgive her... But she didn't. Lisa didn't do what she thought she was going to do. Instead, she smiled. She smiled proudly. Lisa was actually proud of her kill. Out of nowhere, she started chuckling, which led to laughter. She couldn't believe it. She actually enjoyed killing that boar. The squishing sounds of the stabs against flesh adding to the swine's wails and the splattering of blood was oh so thrilling! Lisa was right last night. She was a fool for being a vegetarian!

Earlier, Lisa was actually unsure if she was being serious about what she said last night. Now, she knew she was serious. The girl continued to laugh like a maniac. The old Lisa everyone knew was gone now. This was a brand new Lisa. A Lisa that loved to hunt. At the moment, Lisa didn't care about what would happen when they were eventually rescued. She can worry about that when they do get saved. For now, she's going to begin enjoying her new life.

It was much later in the afternoon when Milhouse only had a few successful kills in hunting. He had a couple rabbits and two birds that looked like parrots. The two birds were actually quite a surprise, as Milhouse only planned on killing one of them.

Earlier, Milhouse found two birds chirping to each other on a branch not far from him. He looked at them for a moment. One of those birds could be a unique addition to the feast. Milhouse began to brainstorm ways to kill one of the birds. Maybe throwing a rock at that bird will kill it, he thought. He looked around and found a nearby stone that was light to throw but sharp enough to kill a bird. Milhouse carefully and quietly readied the stone in his hand and aimed it at one of the birds that was too distracted to notice him. The boy took in a deep breath and threw the stone straight into the bird's head, killing it instantly. However, the stone also proceeded to bounce off of the hit bird and strike the other bird in the head, killing it as well. Both parrots fell to the grassy floor where they lay dead. Milhouse walked over and stared at the dead birds in awe. He had just killed two birds with one stone, literally. After looking in awe for a short while, he grabbed the dead birds and lifted them in the air triumphantly. "Everything's coming up Milhouse!" He said, smiling.

This feeling of triumph didn't last long, however. Milhouse wasn't able to get any more birds because they all flew away when they saw him. Or that they had good reflexes compared to the first two. After a couple hours, Milhouse found success in killing a few rabbits. Not many due to them being so fast and not running the boy. But that was it. Despite the hours-long struggles with his hunts, Milhouse was satisfied with his kills. Well, almost. He didn't think two parrots and a couple of rabbits will contribute much to the big feast. They were quite small animals. His kills were more like... appetizers. Milhouse believed everyone would bring back at least a boar for the feast. It would be rather embarrassing if he didn't have one to bring to the feast. And so, he searched around for one.

Twenty minutes had passed since searching for a boar to kill. Milhouse sighed and was about to give up, until he heard a snort. A pig snort. It came from the other side of a bush, not far from him. He turned towards the bush and slowly and quietly spread it apart to see through it. There indeed was a boar. It was feasting on some grass. Bingo! Milhouse thought. He gently set down his kills and raised his spear, ready to strike. He slowly crept forward, trying not to make a sound. Just as he was almost near the boar, Milhouse suddenly heard a quiet yet audible snap. He froze and looked down. He accidentally stepped on a stick. He mentally cursed himself as he saw the boar perk its head up to the sudden sound, and looked right at him. It was now or never. Milhouse charged straight after the boar with a terrible-sounding battle cry and struck the boar in the hind leg before it could run away. The swine squealed in pain and collapsed to the forest floor. Milhouse got on top of the boar and prepared to strike it in the head with his spear. "Nighty-night, piggy!" he said sinisterly to the boar. Milhouse then thrust the spear down towards the boar's head until... "Milhouse..." A voice whispered to the boy. The whisper caught Milhouse off guard and he stopped the spear from hitting the boar's head and looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. It sounded... familiar.

The boar, seeing that its attempted killer had stopped the spear from striking its skull, forcefully got up with the blue-haired boy falling to the floor because he was on top of it. The boar then quickly ran away from him, its hind leg limping in the process. However, Milhouse made no effort to chase after the runaway boar because he was startled from the voice. After a few moments, "Milhouse..." was whispered again by the disembodied voice. It made Milhouse remember that this sounded like the exact same whisper he heard yesterday when he was looking for branches! It sounded the exact same, too. "Wh... Who's there?" he called out, still startled from the whisper. Half of him wasn't expecting a reply. But... "You don't know me, but I know you," the same disembodied voice answered back. Milhouse was frozen in fear. He couldn't move anything.

Milhouse saw rustling from the dark bush in front of him. Soon, a being emerged and walked slowly towards the boy before it stopped. The being was something out of Milhouse's nightmares, maybe even worse. This strange being was a skeletal boar covered in rotten flesh and a few chunks of fur here and there. Its eyes were completely black and it had sharp tusks pointing forward, as if they were ready to disembowel someone. Lastly, its body was also covered in maggots that were gnawing on the rotten flesh.

Milhouse couldn't find the words as they were stuck in his throat. He couldn't scream. He couldn't move. He could only stare at this boar creature in horror. "Wh... Who are you?..." Milhouse asked, finally being able to let some words escape from his mouth. "An... And what do you want from me?" He trembled. The Boar Creature continued to stare at the scared boy with the pitch-black voids of his eyes and opened its mouth to speak. "My name has no meaning here in this conversation," It started. "I am here to warn you," Milhouse's demeanor soon changed from fear to confusion. "Warn me?" He asks. "About what?" "You, those friends of yours, and this island, things won't be as stable as they are right now," The Boar Creature slowly walked forward, causing Milhouse to have the strength from his fear to back up. "What are you talking about?" Milhouse questioned, fear still present in his voice.

"Things won't be so peaceful between you and the others forever. Based on what I've seen, it may happen very soon. You're turning savage. Store your friends. Savagery leads to instability in society. After that, things will only get worse from there," The Boar Creature answered back, now a mere foot away from the shaking boy. Milhouse remembered he was still carrying his spear, but he was too afraid to strike this creature. Whatever this thing was. He glanced behind him and saw his hunting kills. Is that what this boar creature meant by turning savage? Whatever it was, Milhouse wanted to get away from this thing now. "Get away from me!" he yelled, and, in a quick moment, immediately turned behind himself, grabbed his kills from earlier, and ran off, not looking back.

"This won't be the last time we'll meet, Milhouse. I'll be waiting for you," The boy heard the voice from the Boar Creature behind him. Milhouse still didn't dare look back. He ran as fast as his legs carried him all the way back to the campsite, the Creature's words ingrained in his mind.

It was sunset. The setting sun created a beautiful orange sky which reflected on the ocean water. The kids had gathered around the beach, sorting all of the animals that they killed that day. It was mainly a bunch of boars, but some of the kids had brought tropical birds and some rabbits. Bart and Nelson looked at the gathered food, including their own, in awe. "Woah!" Nelson breathed. "This is..." "Impressive," Bart finished. "Yeah, that," Nelson said. "You guys did a good job!" Nelson continued and he smiled (albeit, he struggled to do so) and also tried to give a... what was it again? A thumb-up? He fiddled with his hand, unsure of how to do one. Bart and the others looked on, confused. Did Nelson seriously not know how to do a thumbs up? Bart rolled his eyes and grabbed Nelson's hand and shaped it to form a thumbs up. Nelson studied it for a second and then held it out, indicating that he was giving them the thumbs up.

The kids were dumbfounded by what just happened, but they smiled and thanked him anyway. "Let's dig in!" Bart said. The kids cheered and were about to feast, until... "Wait a second," Lewis said. The kids stopped and looked at him. "Where's Milhouse? He's not here," he says. They all look around. Lewis was right, Milhouse was not with them. "Should we go look for him?" Sherri asked. Before anyone could say anything, a blur had quickly emerged from the bush and crashed right into Martin, causing both figures to collapse onto the sand. It all happened in less than a second, causing the kids to be bamboozled by what just happened. They look at where the crash happened, it was Milhouse. It also seemed that he had dropped his kills before crashing into Martin, he had two birds and a few rabbits. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing. "We found him!" Ralph said, smiling. "S-sorry Martin!" Milhouse said. "Are you okay?" He asked as he got up.

Martin got up from the beach floor as well. "Yeah, I'm fine. Are you?" He asked as he brushed the sand off his body. Martin and the other kids noticed that Milhouse was shaking, like he saw a ghost. "What's wrong Milhouse?" Bart asked his friend. "You look like you saw something creepy," Milhouse looked at Bart and the others who were all looking at his shaking form. Milhouse wanted to tell them that he did see something creepy. He wanted to tell them that this talking pig zombie was telling him that they were all going savage. However, something in the back of his mind told him that he shouldn't tell them, as it was useless. He recalled when they didn't believe him when he said that he didn't eat all of the food from the cooler. Why would they believe him if he told them this? "I..." he starts. "I heard a branch snap. It scared me so I ran as fast as I could. I guess I didn't see where I was going," he lied. To both his shock and relief, they believed his lie.

"It's okay, Milhouse. Some wussies get spooked by harmless stuff all the time!" Bart said enthusiastically. Milhouse frowned at that statement. "But hey, you're just in time for the big feast!" Milhouse looked at the assortment of kills made by the other kids and he looked at his own. He lowered his head in shame. Wendell noticed this. "Hey, don't be upset Milhouse." He told the blue-haired boy. "You made a contribution, and that's all that matters," Wendell smiled at Milhouse who smiled back. "Alright everyone! Now that everyone is here, let's dig in!" Nelson announced. The kids cheered and Milhouse's smile faded. Both Bart and Nelson grabbed a hunted down parrot and raised them into the air. "THIS IS TO A BRAND NEW FUTURE!!" Nelson roared. All of the kids except Milhouse continued to cheer, even Lisa! Milhouse was shocked that Lisa of all of them would cheer for this kind of thing. What happened? She was the responsible one! He remembered when Lisa went insane last night, he didn't even know if she was actually serious. Now he knew she was. All of the kids began to chow down at the food.. like wild animals.. Not wanting to be left out, he joined them eating like a wild animal too, though not as wild as the others. Milhouse wasn't going to lie, he liked eating this meat like an animal. He liked being "savage". However, what that Boar Creature told him earlier was making him second guess the fate of his friends and himself.

Aaaaand that's the end of that chapter! What's this? Looks like we're getting a role shift between Lisa and Milhouse. More of this shift will come soon, stick around and find out! See ya later
