CODEXes:
• Evolution :
Within this universe, life had evolved in an almost uniform pattern. With all Sapient lifeforms developing magical pathways. Which clustered in the hands. With a new organ, near the stomach, made of organic Lyrium. Allowing everyone to cast spells, with finger movements.
This caused all species, to live an average of 1573 years...
However, most other changes involved... reproduction.
All sapient lifeforms, and strangely only sapients, could meld their Chakra with a partner. Which triggered them to asexually produce an egg, and "Fertilize" it with their partner's magic.
They still had all the parts for sex, with their anus' sole purpose as a birth canal, to lay the egg... while all chemicals and minerals they can't absorb, from food, being used to fuel their Chakra pathways. With half of their populations having boobs, and hour glass bodies... while all of them had a penis and Testicles.
While their testicles no longer produced sperm... but a salty sweet glaze, which was high in proteins and minerals.
Even the anus was filled with nerve Clusters, to make sex more pleasurable... and even laying their eggs felt far more stimulating then traditional muggle births. While they gained unnecessary nutrients from sperm, they weren't actually built to reproduce using it.
Sex was purely for pleasure... with a vastly different reproductive system.
• Public Enchantments :
All sapient species have access to wooden ships, that sail across space. Along with meter long trunks, that can shrink to pocket sized. Which contain an entire manor inside.
Where every Trunk/house, space galley, and bigger on the inside wagon, has an Alchemy machine, similar to a replicator from Star Trek... only existing as a complicated piece of techno-magic.
They only require raw matter, to produce things infinitely. Where companies sell programs for medicines, food, toiletries, all necessities, and all approved household luxuries. But after the program is purchased and installed, the entire household can make infinite copies of that item, limited only by the Replicator's raw matter storage.
All citizens have access to a, bigger on the inside, clothing. Such as a fanny-pack, or combat vest. Which can store most of their belongings. And retrieve them merely by putting their hand in the pack, and thinking of it. With the item materializing in their hand.
Sports, and documentaries approved by the galactic educational board, were the only television programs. While all entertainment stories, were told through comic books, more traditional books, and audio dramas.
• Government :
Each country, is made up of not only an entire planet, but all her moons. Each ruled over by a Daimyo. Essentially a King, born into the position. With the heads of clans, being both Senator and Lord. Where each major city, is ruled over by the 'Elder" of a "Main House". Whom serve on a joint council, under the head of the entire clan. Kept in check by the merchant's guild. Whom, themselves, are 42 Representatives of each major Corporation owned by that main house.
Every member of the government, is chosen by a magical artifact called "The Goblet of Fire", once every 10 years. From the Merchants guild representatives, to the Daimyo themselves.
While the Daimyo are separate, and independent, they must at-hear to an agreed upon "Doctrine". Which lays out legal fields of study, limitations on technology, to a uniform command structure, and standards of education. This document is treated as near holy, as it insures any unauthorized violations are met by joint destruction of that village.
It also has the established articles of War, forbidden War Crimes, and a list of approved weapons. Most forms of non-melee, or non-magic based abilities, are forbidden. Including crossbows, guns, nukes, biological or gas based chemical weapons, and any weapon that requires a rocket or missile.
All Villages agreed to at hear to the Doctrine. As well as enforce it. Even the smaller villages of their continent.
The Goblins are not only in charge of the universal bank, but the Treasury. Keeping prices from inflating, and making standard cost for replicator programs.
Without the Cosmic force of creation, no new inventions can appear. However variations on existing products can be made, due to the muses still being around. Regardless all devices are compatible with each other.
Due to nothing being destroyed, mines slowly grow back all material taken out. So clans can mine their materials infinitely. Unfortunately many cave ins are a result of the mine repairing itself, if the mine isn't closely observed.
While Alchemy based replicators can make potions, it can't replicate inorganic magical material. Such as magical metals and crystals. This includes Gold, Silver, Copper, Daedric Steel, and Lyrium.
Clan's mine their own currency, which the Goblins then convert to coins for that branch family. While most of the money goes into a vault, for additional clan businesses and projects, the clan is legally required to pay each member, of it's extended family, 2 Galleons a week.
While the clan often finds work for each able body member, it's actually not a requirement of the money the clan has to pay. It's more an honor thing, a duty to the clan. With the clan having a duty to care for the elderly or disabled. With laws ensuring they will pay them, without putting them to work.
Clan members also gain an additional 1 Galleon bonus a month. With an additional 20 Galleon New Year's bonus, and a 6 Galleon birthday bonus.
This means the average person makes 142 galleons a year.
Where each Village's starting Genin, makes an additional Galleon a week, along with bonuses. With a 1 Galleon raise, with each promotion.
White Lanterns make 5 Galleons a week, and are chosen by the Rings themselves. Then trained for the position.
• Military :
The highest rank that can be earned is the "Kage", which is the most powerful Shinobi, and leader of a Hidden Village.
Followed by "Sages", whom are second in power only to the Kage. The rank of "Sage" is so rare, there has never been more then 3, simultaneously, in a singular clan. Usually it's only 1 in a generation... if that.
Their underlings are "Jonin", whom are trusted with a ritual to break their limiter. Able to get promoted to "Jonin Lieutenant", then "Jonin Commander", followed by "Jonin Captain".
Beginning at Jonin Lieutenant, they are empowered with a seal. Which let's them undergo a transformation to boost their power level. Getting another layer added to the seal, with each additional promotion.
The Chunin, the rank under Jonin, have a similar promotion system... With their clan, not the Village, trusting them with Secret Techniques and seals, based on their promotions.
With Genin being the lowest rank, and don't have promotion levels.
Once a Genin reaches Chunin, they can choose which department to specialize in. Be it the Medical Nin, The ANBU, continue as field work Shinobi, become "Samurai" whom protect nobility, follow in their clans trade, or a few dozen other departments. All divided into further specializations called "Divisions".
• Worlds :
Each World was made of several hundred islands, in the lower hemisphere. Each the size of Texas. With only 1, to 3, major cities. Each ruled over by an "Elder". While all the surrounding villages were small towns, which supported the cities through: farming, mining, or factory work.
Then the Upper hemisphere was made, near completely, of one giant land mass. With a small ocean and iceberg at the top of the world. This land mass was covered in a massive city. With buildings stretching thousands of feet into the air. Although no one lives in any of these cities, as they are merely the center of trade, governing, and the military.
All upper hemispheres, are connected to their islands by a complicated network of floo hubs. These hubs are a collection of magical fireplaces, with green flames that allow for instantaneous travel to any fireplace connected to their network.
The orbit of every planet and moons runs at the same time, with matching seasonal calendars. In an environmental bubble, Which gives uniformed lighting around the world, that dims at night.
Each world, regardless of size, has Earth Norm Gravity, temperature regulation, breathable air, power, wi-fi, controlled weather, and an automatic protection grid.
Each clan has both their own moon, and their own island on the planet. With the moons own structure, being similar to the planets. Only with every branch family, of a clan, having their own island, on their moon. Where the ruling family, of each clan, lives on the planet.
Each Sapient species has their own planet, and its orbiting moons. While multiple planets belong to humanoid races, they live independently. Based on their own similar classification of powers. Not necessarily hidden villages. For example, people with different fire powers, live under the same planetary government... but live in separate clans based on how their power comes out (such as "Human Torch" powers, as opposed to fire bending).
With each former meta human and mutant, having a clan with powers, exactly like their own.
Then each world has their own fleet of enchanted space ships, looking like wooden galleys, with the most qualified people serving on them.
Floos only extent to a planets moons, they need ships to get to other planets.
• Demon World :
A plain of existence, between the divine realm and the mortal verse.
It is home to most energy constructs, now called "Demons". Resembling various animals, but at their heart they are living entities of magic.
Their own Countries are separated by genus, groups of similar animals. With each direct Species having their own village, separated into clans.
Summoning contracts are connect to the genus as a whole. And allow Shinobi to Teleport any species attached to the contract. Made by the demons, and given to Shinobi they deemed worthy of their aid.
• New Years :
The universe was born at the stroke of zero. When the satellites began to brightened all of their world with light. In 20 hours, the lights would dim to simulate an additional 20 hours, of night. The first and last hour of day light, was met by a brilliant "sunrise" and "sunset". When combined, a day consists of 42 hours, of 100 minutes per hour. With 42 days in a month, 6 weeks of 7 days each. With 504 days in a year. While everything now aged at that rate.
January 1st marked the beginning of winter, and the Winter Solstice. A week long event, where there was no "sunlight". Where the sky stayed dim, as the barrier to the spirit world was at its weakest.
The first time this happened, was because the universe was syncing itself... and it just became a natural week of rest.
For protection, to hide from the natural forces of evil, mortals would dress in costumes. This was to trick the spirits, into thinking the mortals were spirits. If that didn't work, they would carry salt, to ward against the supernatural. Shenron hosted a party, on every world, too appease the gods and spirits.
The Celebration was a combination of Yule, New Years, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, the Super-Bowl, Dia de Los Muertos, and even Valentines Day. Truly the biggest Holiday of the year.
This week may be a celebration of the gods... however, it doubled as an attempt to distract them... to appease them. Particularly the evil gods. Whom needed to have so much fun, they wouldn't feel the need to make their own.
The other gods were largely able to keep the Forces of evil in check, but they were a natural part of the universe. Temptation, inspiration, every dark thought a person had. The gods could overwhelm them all.
Evil gods usually act through temptation. Though Strong, they had the same Chakra output they had as a mortal, usually at some rank of Jonin level.
What they gained, in addition to the artifact of their godhood... was a literal silver tongue, granting persuasive powers. They could convince a mortal to do near anything, which they had to resist... but the longer they listened to the god, who could be heard and understood by even the deaf, the harder it was to resist them.
They corrupted people, twisted their minds. Although a circle of salt neutralized this power, in addition to keeping evil spirits away
The Celebration would last a week, with each day devoted to a different rank of Shinobi. going in a variety of different sports. To keep things interesting, Jutsus, Shinobi tools, and weapons could be used in these games. Where clans competed against each other.
The first game, of each day, was "Capture the flag". Which mixed elements of flag football. The Player's were divided by clan, and wore 3 ribbons, flag-football style, on their belt. Proudly displaying their clan's symbol on the flags. The Shinobi would try to steal the other Shinobi's Ribbons, from competing clans. Where if a Shinobi lost all three of their flags, they were out of the game.
The game ended, when a clan held onto the Village's flag, for a consistent 20 minutes. with the Village flag counting as 50 flags. However, the ribbons each team captured were also tallied, and the winner amongst the clans was whoever had the biggest score, not necessarily who held onto the Village flag.
The second game of the day, was an Obstacle Course. Where the clans ran through a series of traps and puzzles. While sabotaging the clans efforts.
Next was a modified Quidditch game. Where teams were made of a clan, whom played each clan, one at a time, with points of all games tallied, by clan. Then the winner had the most points. The Snitch, the ball that's capture ended the game, was now worth a measly 30 points. Still easily the most important ball, but not an automatic victory, by any means. Now all players, on their team, had to be talented in competing. Players had 30 minutes to catch it, until the match was called.
Genin competed Monday. Chunin competed Wednesday. and Jonin Friday. With each promotion ( Lieutenant, Commander, Captain, etc. ) having their own competition on their rank's designated day.
Where Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, hosted martial arts tournaments. For one on One fighting, divided by rank.
Where Sunday, Sages of all worlds would compete. Paired off onto teams, representing their entire world, and all their country's moons. As Sages were rare, with each clan having only 1, per generation. So due to their rarity, Sages would go to the space station, at the center of the universe. Each day was a different competition event, lasting all day, for the Sages.
