Aizawa was honestly floored. This couldn't be true, could it? His expulsions were meant to knock some sense into students and make them realize the hero course was not a game. It wasn't supposed to lead them in the opposite direction.
"I've also spoken to some of the students you did re-enroll, do you know what they said?" Nezu questioned, his glare narrowing. Aizawa froze in place. "They made it abundantly clear that your 'logical ruses' have led to many of them needing to have sessions with Hound Dog and other counselors, something you claimed was a 'waste of time' like the orientation ceremony, something I've made abundantly clear time and again that I'd wish you'd attend. In case you forgot Aizawa, this is a school. We are meant to teach students, not make them think that they can't come to us for help when they need it. Some of them even mentioned saying that they had considered leaving the hero course, however they cannot because of the black mark on their records, making it so if they leave the Hero Course, they will have near no options for any jobs outside."
Aizawa was about to ask who these students were, but Nezu raised his paw, silencing him. "I have promised these students anonymity, and you are not to go around searching for who said it, otherwise I WILL revoke your teaching license myself." Nezu jumped off his chair and walked over to Aizawa. "I respect you as a friend and hero Aizawa, but letting you do as you wished with your classes with no restrictions was clearly a mistake. This next batch of students have a lot of potential to be something great, and I will not let your lead to the fall of another student. Do I make myself clear, Eraserhead?"
'Crap, he's really serious this time,' Aizawa gulped. Nezu only used his hero name in school when he was being deadly serious about something. This meant there was no room for argument, otherwise the rodent would make his life at UA a living hell. "U-Understood."
"Excellent!" Nezu exclaimed, returning to his jovial mood. "Then I'll see you, and your class at the opening ceremony, and the counselor meetings. After that, you are free to do your usual examination. You can still say you're going to expel them, but you are not permitted to actually do that without justifiable means, and no, 'lack of potential' does not count. Now off you go."
Aizawa let out a sigh before leaving Nezu's office. This year was already turning into a headache. He just hoped nothing else would go wrong.
