Introduction

This is not a one-for-one representation of the Resident Evil world based on the established lore given to us by the folks at Capcom. A very alternate timeline which is meant to be somewhat close to the Resident Evil timeline you would see in the games and CGI movies.

The general idea is based on a concept I wished Capcom would have explored in the past. It was suggested by Wesker—more than likely just to taunt Claire, which itself may have been intended to get at Chris—that it was possible for Steve to come back to life. I've always speculated what would have happened if that was the case. What would Wesker have done in the event Steve was revived by the virus and what effect it may have had on him psychologically. This and the idea of others like him being manipulated into hating Chris and his allies. An organization essentially seeking retribution upon Chris, Jill, Claire, Rebecca, Leon and others, with multiple people caught in the middle of this misplaced revenge. That is the intended concept of the story.

Creating an event which is similar to the Raccoon City incident but with the added detriment of the element of the situation with operatives similar to Wolf Pack in Operation Raccoon City.
