"You wake up refreshed and ready for initiation!" His AI said. "+1 to all stats!"
Izuku sighed and woke up looking at his message board.
"Good morning." He heard to his side. Turning Izuku came face to face with Lie Ren staring deep into his soul.
"G-Good morning...?" Izuku asked.
"I'm Lie Ren." Ren said. "But you can call me Ren." He offered his hand.
"I-I'm Izuku Midoriya. Y-You can call me that or Deku if you want." Izuku said taking the outstretched hand.
"As in useless?" Ren asked as he pulled the boy to his feet.
"I-I wasn't able to access my aura until a few weeks ago." Izuku explained. "I'm from Vacuo. Weak is deemed as useless there."
"Oh I understand." Ren said. "I don't wish to insult you."
"I-It's fine." Izuku said. "I got used to it. It's kind of weird that people call me by my name now that I have Aura."
"So is that why you help Jaune Arc?" He asked and Izuku nodded.
"Yeah... If he had tried taking the test he would've had a bad time." He looked around the room until he found Jaune talking to the red haired beauty known as Pyrrha Nikos. "He seemed to get in close with Pyrrha Nikos though so I think if they get paired up he'll be fine. What about you?" Izuku looked at Ren. "Who do you hoped to be paired up with?"
"ME!" Izuku jumped back and activated his aura shield.
"Nora..." Ren said. "Really?"
"What?!" The orange haired girl asked. "Anyway! I'm Nora Valkyrie!"
"I-Izuku Midoriya." Izuku said.
"Let's be good friends!" Nora said.
"Y-Yeah." Izuku said. "A-Anyway... Shouldn't we be getting prepared for the initiation?"
"Yes we should." Ren said. "It was nice meeting you Izuku."
"You as well Ren!" Izuku smiled. "And you Nora!"
Her eyes gleamed happily.

Izuku stood up as Ren and Nora went to the respective locker rooms.
He looked at his system.
"Alright." He stretched a little allowing the joints in his body to pop into place. He walked into the male locker room towards his locker and retrieved his clothes. Taiyang had gone to the liberty of hand sowing him a battle suit fitted with metal plates in the cloth. Izuku was honestly surprised when he put it on. He looked at the large thief's cloak that had been plated with clothed metal as well. "Taiyang really over did it." Izuku sighed as he pulled the large black and green cloak over him and his hood over his hair.
"Cloak of superior protection!" His AI said. "While wearing this you lose 1 agility in place for twenty armor! You also gain +20 Vitality wearing it."
(Fall damage without aura is halved.)
(Fall damage with aura is cut into a tenth regular damage.)
(Attacks from the back do 20% less damage.)
Grabbing his Kama Izuku hid it under his cloak.
And finally he reached his final item.
He had asked Qrow if he could get him a pair because he had 'light sensitivity'.
Metal goggles with tinted lenses.
He was sure Qrow actually believed his lie.
'System.' Izuku said.
"Yes?!"
'When I have these on appear in the lenses like a H.U.D.'
"Affirmative captain!" His AI joked before Izuku's request was granted.
Izuku walked out of the bathroom and followed the students out.
No one recognized him and that was how he liked it.
Activating stealth he walked the rest of the way to the cliff side where Ozpin was waiting along with other students including Ruby and Yang.
"..." Izuku walked up beside the two of them. "D-Do I look weird to you two?" He asked them both, startling them.
"I-Izuku?!" Ruby said turning towards him. "U-Um... not rally just mysterious."
"Pull you hood down!" Yang said. "And what's with the cloak?"
"I-I am a thief you know." Izuku said.
He looked at his thief's touch skill which was about level twelve. One more pickpocket and he'd be there.
"Mr. Midoriya." Ozpin said. "That looks quite uncomfortable."
"I-I um..." Izuku said embarrassed. "T-Taiyang made it so... I-I pretty much have to wear it. B-Besides i-it's protecting my back. I-I'd rather see how it does today."
"Don't hesitate to drop it if it become cumbersome." Ozpin said. "We'll send someone to fetch it. That goes for any of you. If in the forest your gear is weighing you down get rid of what's necessary. If you're not at one hundred percent during this you may very well die."
Izuku gulped and pulled out his Kama.
"Alright class!" Glynda said stepping forward. "You've all been asking about how you all will be paired up and today is when that happens."
Ozpin raise his hand.
"To get through Beacon you will undoubtedly need to be pair with someone who compliments your attitude and abilities so pick wisely. That being said. The first person you make eye contact with during the exam will be your partner for the next four years."
Izuku gulped.
As long as he took awhile at the beginning he shouldn't interrupt anything right?
Izuku was on the last launch pad beside Jaune.
"Your goal is to retrieve a relic from the jungle temple." Ozpin said. "Than your team must get to the other side of the cliffs safely as you protect the relic."
Launch!
Izuku watched as Weiss was launched.
'Poor Ruby.' Izuku thought to himself. 'But her and Weiss need to do this if their ever gonna be team RWBY.'
"U-Um..." Jaune said. "D-Did you hand out parachutes or something?"
Izuku sighed as Pyrrha was launched. "Just use your Aura Jaune. You have an absurd amount of it so you'll be fine as long as you don't hit anything head first." 'Not that Pyrrha wont save you.'
"I hope we're teammates Yang! Izuku!" Ruby yelled before she was launched through the air.
"Mr. Midoriya." Ozpin said catching Izuku's attention. Yang and Jaune were launched through the air. "I know you want to not be paired up with anyone." He swished his mug.
Izuku's eyes widened. 'He knew I was going to stay at the beginning for a while.
"But please try to remember that it isn't just your stakes here." Ozpin continued. "What would Ms. Rose and Xiao Long think about you not trying your best. So please don't disappoint them."
'That manipulative bastard's digging his claws at the only thing I would freaking do it for!' Izuku mentally whined as his hand shakily gripped his Kama. "What do you see in me sir?" He asked the headmaster. "Why does it matter that my eyes are silver? Am I really so special that you can break school regulations to bring a thief into Beacon? I'm... I can barely even hit Ruby in a spar. I don't understand what you see."
"Potential Midoriya." Ozpin said. "I see such great potential in you it scares me a little. So try your best. I expect to see you pass."
Izuku was launched through the air.
Glynda looked at Ozpin.
"That poor boy has no idea." She said in a whisper. "It's a miracle Salem hasn't got her hands on him by now. Or even contacted him. An aura lacking silver eyed would be the perfect puppet for her. And a boy none the less."
"The boy knows that something is up with his eyes." Ozpin said. "He doesn't know the specifics I'm sure, but he knows both his and Ruby's eyes are special. He thinks that that is the reason I asked him to come here."
"Is it not?" Glynda asked.
"Only half the reason along with his potential." Ozpin said. "The main reason though... I sense and extraordinary amount of magic energy lying dormant in his body."
Glynda's eyes widened.
"A-Are you sure!?" She asked.
"Positive." Ozpin said. "Have you seen how fast he's improved as well? His growth rate is exponentially enormous compared to others. Imagine if we could train him up like we did with Qrow... You placed the order for his Folding scythe correct?"
"Yes I have." Glynda said. "It's going to be made bye a friend of mine."
Izuku flew through the air.
'I have to participate but not alter the plot any!' Izuku thought to himself. He saw himself falling towards a large pack of Ursa.
'Oh crap!' Izuku thought. 'I cant change my momentum!'
"New skill learned!" His AI said through his H.U.D. "Falling strike!"
Izuku's eyes widened as his feet planted into Ursa as he swung his Kama through the monsters body.
"God your all ugly!" Izuku insulted.

'Whoa really!?' Izuku asked himself.
The other Ursa looked at him in confusion for a second before charging at him.
As the first Ursa went to strike him, Izuku ducked under the beast and sliced off it's arm, before quickly following up with slicing it's head off and jumping over the strike of a second Ursa.
Izuku landed on the Ursa's arm and sliced it's head off cleanly.
The Ursa surrounding him looked at him cautiously.
Ozpin meant to throw him here didn't that Manipulative bastard!
Izuku pulled up his hood and on his goggles.
He needed to be sure Salem didn't know he had silver eyes!
'Alright which one's next?' He asked himself looking at the monsters.
They circled around him dangerously.
'Come on...' Izuku thought.
BANG! BANG!
BANG! BANG!
Izuku froze as four gunshots went through the heads of the Grimm causing them to fall to the ground and start to disintegrate.
Looking to where the gun shots came from his eyes widened as Blake walked out of the foliage with her weapon in hand.
"Blake?" Izuku asked in fear. 'No! I-If Blake's here where's-'
"H-Hey!" He heard before Yang came into view. "You just left me behind! What was that for!?"
"I found your friend." Blake said pointing at Izuku.
"Izuku!" Yang said running and hugging him tight. "Are you alright?!"
"Yeah." Izuku said. "Ozpin just decided to throw me into a batch of Ursa." He sighed as he looked at his H.U.D.

He shakily took a breath.
"Thanks Blake." Izuku said. "Y-You really saved me..." He sighed out dejectedly. "Anyway you two mind if I tag with you? Might find a partner waiting at the jungle temple."
Blake shrugged and Yang nodded.
"Sure!" She said. "Alright let's go faithful teammates!"
Blake smiled softly as she looked at the two of them.
Their attitudes were contagious.
Izuku followed Blake and Yang for nearly ten minutes with very few Ursa in the way, which were dealt with quickly thanks to Blake and Yang.
And then they reached the clearing.
'Please don't have any one out of place!' Izuku begged.
"Is this the temple?" Izuku asked walking into the small ruins. "With the chess pieces?"
"Yeah!" Yang yelled.
"Which one should we take?" Blake asked.
"Hmm..." Yang said before picking up the golden horse. "How about the pretty Pony!?"
"Sure." Blake said with a smile. "Which one are you taking Izuku?"
"I'm... I'm not." Izuku said and he sighed. "I didn't make it here with a teammate and we're being graded on team effort. So if I take one someone will receive a zero because of me."
Yang's eyes widened.
"B-Besides you girls are the ones that got me here anyways!" Izuku said with a chuckle. "Don't worry."
"Here take-" Yang said going to grab a piece.
"N-No it's fine!" Izuku yelled. "Please Yang? I'd rather no one fai because I was greedy and took a piece without a teammate.
"Ah~!" The three of them heard from a distance.
"Blake did you hear that?!" Yang asked. "What should we do!?"
Izuku looked up and blanched as Ruby fell from the sky.
"HEADS UP~!" She screamed as she fell.
Izuku's eyes widened as he realized that Jaune wasn't gonna be able to catch her now.
Quickly he ran towards where she would land and subconsciously channeled aura into his legs as he jumped.
Mid air Izuku caught Ruby.
"You've learned a new skill!" His AI said. "Aura enhancement!"
Izuku pulled up His Aura shield and prepared for the fall damage.

Izuku and Ruby hit the ground hard.

Izuku groaned in pain.
"Ow~..." He said as Ruby rolled off of him and started apologizing profusely. "I-It's fine Ruby. As long as you're okay."

Izuku blinked at the message.
"Ruby are you okay!?" Yang asked as she tackled them both with a hug, dragging his attention from the message.
"Y-Yeah Izuku took the brunt of the fall!" Ruby said quickly.
Izuku sighed.

Jaune collided with the tree.
"Ooh!" Izuku winced. "Thank god he has aura."
"I-I'm Okay!" Jaune yelled before a large branch landed on him. "L-Less Okay."
"Did he just get thrown in here?" Blake asked.
"I-" Yang went to say before a large growl cut her off as the ground began to shake.
An Ursa Major ran out of the forest knocking trees down before it stopped in the clearing and fell down dead.
"Awe I broke it." Nora said sadly.
"N-Nora!" Ren yelled as he ran to keep up with her. "N-Never do that again."
He looked to her before realizing she was already holding a golden castle piece.
"I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!" She yelled.
/"Did she just ride here on an Ursa!?" Blake asked.
"I-!" Yang said loudly before another scream cut her off as Pyrrha Nikos ran into the clearing with a large death stalker on her tale.
She jumped over the scorpion Grimm's claw as it swiped at her and rolled towards the group.
"Did she just run all the way here with a death stalker on her tail?" Blake asked.
Yang exploded in crimson flames.
"I can't take it anymore!" She yelled. "Can we have calm for two seconds before something crazy happens again!?"
Ren and Nora joined the four of them as they stood there.
"U-Um... Yang?" Ruby said as she pointed into the air.
Weiss was holding onto the claw of the Nevermore as it flew around.
"How could you leave me?!" Weiss yelled.
"I-I said jump." Ruby said embarrassed.
"She's gonna fall." Blake said.
"She'll be fine." Ruby said.
"She's falling." Ren said.
"Five hundred Lien says Jaune tries to save her and forgets about gravity." Izuku said. "Who's in?"
"No way." Yang said. "He's dumb but not that dumb. I'm in."
"Me as well." Blake said.
Izuku smiled as Jaune jumped through the air and caught Weiss.
"Just... Dropping in." He said with a smile. Weiss blushed softly before Jaune realized they were still falling.
He hit the ground and Weiss landed on his back.
"My hero..." Weiss said sarcastically.
"M-My back~." Jaune whined.
The death stalker slapped Pyrrha with it's tail sending her flying into the ground right in front of the group of now nine students.
"Great the gangs all here!" Yang said. "Now we can die together!"
"Not if I can help it!" Ruby said before unsheathing Crescent Rose and sprinting forward.
"Ruby wait!" Yang yelled but it was already to late as she was swinging at the death stalker.
Before she could hit it she was hit to the side by its large claws.
"D-D-D-Don't worry!" Ruby yelled T-Totally fine!"
Izuku's eyes widened as the death stalker was just behind her and he sprinted as fast as he could into action.
Ruby turned and fired her rifle to blast herself away from th incoming strike and started to run towards him.
"Ruby!" He yelled as he saw the Nevermore prepare to swing feathers that could kill her.
Izuku had caught Ruby when she was falling not Jaune! One of the feathers could actually kill her now!
Izuku saw the Grimm swing its wings at her and acted instantly!
He pulled off his heavy cloak with ease and threw it over the red cloaked girl and shoved her fiercely to the ground. Using his thief's touch skill to up his agility by twelve.
SHINK! SHINK! SHINK!
Pain flooded through the boys body as he didn't have the time to activate his aura.
Nearly ten feather ends were peaking out of his chest and arms.
"IZUKU!" Yang screamed.
Schlunk!
And then there was a scorpion stinger through his chest as well.
Suddenly the pain stopped.
He was falling forwards and he could see black and white forms running towards him.
"This pesky little system drawing me out already huh?" A voice not his own or the AI's said.
Izuku couldn't move as he saw the crying faces of Yang and Ruby over him.
Suddenly he started to feel warm.
Niche that it was hot! Way to hot for his liking!
"Congratulations!" His AI said. "You've unlocked your semblance!"
Izuku felt the feathers melt away and suddenly he could breathe again.
Color flooded his vision and he groaned in excruciating pain,.
"W-What's happening?!" Ruby asked confused as the wounds began to grow green as green lightning surrounded the boy's body. The wounds started closing and they all widened their eyes.
He coughed up a lob of blood and suddenly his lungs felt like they were just fine.
"G-Got..." Izuku said.
"W-What?" Yang asked.
Izuku shuddered and stood up facing the death stalker. "G-Got another one in you?"
Yang and Ruby choked back a sob as they stood up.

Izuku was slung across Yang's back as they all began to run.
After about a half minute Izuku was at 20 aura and his semblance stopped.

Status: wounded heavily.
Bleeding. -1 HP/30seconds.
"Ugh..." Izuku said as blood dribbled out of his mouth. "J-Just leave me... There catching up f-fast."
"Not doing that Green!" Yang yelled punching through an Ursa. "This way! I see the bridge!"
The nine of them got to the bridge fairly quickly just as the death stalker crashed through the trees behind them.
Izuku pushed himself off of Yang causing everyone to stop just in time to not be eaten by the Nevermore that crashed into the bridge. Tearing a large chunk from the middle.
"L-Listen!" Izuku said catching their attentions. "We have to sepperate into two teams! One for the death stalker and the other for the Nevermore! Ruby, Yang, Weiss, and Blake go for the Nevermore! Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Nora! Go for the death stalker go for it's stinger."
"What about you?!" Pyrrha asked. "Do you have a plan?"
Izuku gulped.
"Like five percent of one." Izuku admitted. Him here was throwing a lot of strings into the mix. "Pyrrha! Aim for just above the stinger to get it to crash down on the scorpions head. Yang! Jump into the Nevermore mouth and start using ember cilica on the inside of it's mouth! Nora! While Jaune and Ren stall the Death Stalker use your hammer and Shove the stinger all the way through it's head. Blake!" Izuku turned towards her. "Is your ribbon flexible enough to slingshot Ruby and I?!"
"I think so?" Blake said.
"Alright!" Izuku said pulling out his Kama. "Weiss use your weapon to freeze the Nevermore in place at the top of the cliff then come back as fast as you can to aim Ruby and I!"
"U-Uh yes!" Weiss said.
Yang jumped into the oncoming Nevermore's mouth and started punching slugs into it crashing it into the top of the cliff.
"Ready!" Weiss yelled as she jumped the gap in the bridge and ran towards the Nevermore. She used her rapier and Froze it's tail feathers to the top of the cliff.
"Yang!" Blake said as she threw Gambol Shroud to her.
Yang caught the end of the weapon and plunged it deep into a stone pillar.
Weiss had came back just in time. Izuku and Ruby jumped on the ribbon.
A black time glyph froze the two of them there.
"Can you aim us right?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know." Weiss said. "Can I?"
"U-Um C-" Ruby said.
"Of course I can!" Weiss said.
"Alright Ruby!" Izuku said. "We need to do this with precision or we'll die!"
"Right!" Ruby said loading a shell into Crescent Rose.
Izuku held his Kama tight.
"Now Weiss!" Izuku said and the two of them shot forward. They hit the cliff side and more black time glyph appeared under their feet. They started to run up the side of the cliff.
"Warning no aura left!" Izuku heard and his eyes widened.
"Skill activated. Hidden atronach! Aura has been replenished by half!"
Izuku's body moved on it's own as it covered itself in aura and kept up with Ruby as the two of them reached the top.
The two curved blades flew through the Nevermore's head like an executioners blade.
Izuku and Ruby landed on the top of the cliff as the Nevermore fell down as it started disintegrating.
Izuku shakily stood.
"Secondary effect of 'Hidden Atronach.'"
Izuku passed out and landed on the ground dangerously close to the edge of the cliff.
"Oh no!" He heard before it all went blank.
"Jaune Arc, Pyrrha Nikos, Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie." Ozpin said. "You four gathered the gold queen pieces. From today forward you will be known as team Juniper. Led by... Jaune Arc."
"W-What me?" Jaune asked.
"Congratulations young man." Ozpin said. "Next is... Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, and because of extenuating circumstances and an odd class Izuku Midoriya will be the fifth member of team RWBIY. Co-led by Ruby Rose and Izuku Midoriya."
Izuku, who was standing there with the help of his Kama, and covered in multiple bandages was horror struck.
'Oh crap baskets!' He thought. 'I just fucked everything up!'
"Congratulations you two." Ozpin said. Izuku glared at the manipulating man. "I expect great things from you. And all of the teams this year."
"I'm so proud of the two of you!" Yang said hugging both Izuku and Ruby.
Weiss looked completely offended.
Blake smile and nodded.
"It looks like things are shaping up to be an exciting year." Ozpin said.
'Damn you Ozpin!' Izuku thought.
