ACT III
SCENE I. Dumbledore's Office.
(Enter DUMBLEDORE, SNAPE, EBONY, DRACO, VAMPIRE, and B'LOODY MARY)
DUMBLEDORE:
Ebony, thou stand'st accused of grave misdeeds,
Of self-harm and of lustful acts that lead To chaos and disorder in our school.
What say'st thou in defense, thou wretched fool?
EBONY:
I am no fool, thou pompous, prep'ed old man!
I do what I must do, by any plan,
To cope with all the pain and misery That fills my blackened soul with agony!
SNAPE:
My Lord, I have the proof of her vile acts,
Recorded on this camera. Play it back!
(SNAPE hands DUMBLEDORE the camera)
DRACO:
I protest! Snape did spy on her, 'tis true,
But 'twas a violation, through and through!
VAMPIRE:
Indeed, he didst invade her privacy,
A deed most foul, that none should ever see!
B'LOODY MARY:
And what of all the preps who make her life A living hell, with all their petty strife?
DUMBLEDORE:
Enough! I'll hear no more of this debate.
Ebony, thy punishment shall be great!
Thou art expelled from Hogwarts, effective now.
And may God have mercy on thy gothic brow!
EBONY:
Thou can'st not do this to me, I won't go!
I'll fight thee, I'll-
(Enter VOLDEMORT)
VOLDEMORT:
What's this I hear? A student to be banned?
Not so, old fool. For she is in my hand!
I've watched her long, this dark and tortured girl.
She'll be my servant, as the shadows swirl!
DUMBLEDORE:
Tom Riddle! I should've known thou wouldst appear.
Thou shalt not have her, not while I am here!
VOLDEMORT:
Stand down, old man. Thy time is at an end.
Ebony, come with me, my dark friend.
I'll give thee power, and a chance to fight Against the preps and posers, day and night!
EBONY:
My Lord...I am enticed by thy dark call,
But I still love my Draco, most of all.
DRACO:
Ebony, go not with him! I beg of thee!
He seeks to use thee for his villainy.
VOLDEMORT:
A choice, my dear. Come with me and embrace Thy inner darkness, find thy true place.
Or stay with these, and live a life of pain.
The choice is thine alone. What say'st thou, then?
(EBONY hesitates, torn between the two sides)
EBONY:
I...I choose...
