ACT IV
SCENE I. A Dark Chamber.
(EBONY stands alone, surrounded by shadows)
EBONY:
I hath made my choice, to follow darkness' call,
To join Lord Voldemort, and give him my all.
But in my heart, I know 'tis not quite right,
For Draco's love still fills me with pure light.
Oh, what a tortured path I now must tread,
With darkness and light battling in my head!
(Enter VOLDEMORT)
VOLDEMORT:
Welcome, my child, to thy new home and life.
Together, we shall cause the preps great strife!
But first, thou must prove thy loyalty to me,
By killing thy love, Draco, most brutally.
EBONY:
My Lord, I cannot do this heinous thing!
Draco is my heart, my soul, my everything.
VOLDEMORT:
Thou must, or suffer dire consequences grave.
Kill him, and thy place with me thou shalt save!
(Enter DRACO)
DRACO:
Ebony, my love, I knew I'd find thee here!
Come back with me, away from darkness drear.
EBONY:
Oh Draco, I am torn 'tween love and power,
I know not what to do in this dark hour!
DRACO:
Choose love, my sweet, for it shall set thee free.
Together, we can face our destiny!
VOLDEMORT:
Enough of this! Ebony, do what must be done,
Or I shall kill thee both, my patience done!
(VOLDEMORT hands EBONY a gun)
EBONY:
Forgive me, Draco, for what I must do...
I love thee more than life, forever true!
(She turns the gun on VOLDEMORT and shoots him)
VOLDEMORT:
Treachery! Thou shalt pay for this betrayal!
No one defies Lord Voldemort, thy death is final!
(VOLDEMORT dies)
DRACO:
Ebony, thou didst it! Thou hast saved us all,
And proven that thy love is strong, not small.
EBONY:
'Twas love that gave me strength to do the deed,
And break free from the darkness, now indeed!
Let us away, my Draco, from this place,
To live our gothic love, in sweet embrace!
(Exeunt EBONY and DRACO)
EPILOGUE
(Enter DUMBLEDORE)
DUMBLEDORE:
And so, dear friends, our tale comes to an end,
With darkness vanquished, love doth now transcend.
Ebony and Draco, two souls entwined,
Have shown that even in the darkest mind,
A spark of light can grow, and conquer all,
When nurtured by a love so pure, so tall.
Let this be a lesson, to all who see,
That in the end, 'tis love that sets us free.
(Exit DUMBLEDORE)
