Lucy let out quiet yelp, he hurt her when tightened his grip, but Mar ignored her. He kept holding her, kept tighten his grip. It seemed that if he let her go, something bad, very bad going to happen to everyone.

The whole world suddenly become quiet. No sound was heard, everything just shut. It was as if the world itself was afraid to interrupt this moment. The moment of silence and unknown. There was no way to know, what's going to happen next.

Mar was still shaking, his clawed hand slowly squeezed deepening in Lucy's skin, making her whine out of pain. It was painful. Blood started to stream from the wound. The pain was impossible. Her whole body hurt, but she tried to focus only on Mar and what he was doing.

"Why isn't he attacking me?" Lucy thought. It was just impossible that he killed that guy, but let her live. Not just let live, but killed that guy just to save her. It was just impossible, just impossible. Still at that moment she, better than ever, felt like she knows him too well. As if they were always together, spending a lot of time beside each other, but she just forgot about it.

And what if it was, what if he's someone familiar? What if she truly knew him? What if he's-

"Lucy, are you okay!? We just got h-" Benny stopped and stared at Mar with horror. Even if he was sitting on giant Ultrakitty, he was still feeling terror. Mar slowly looked at him with so much fury, that Benny turned pale, almost as pale as snow.

They just got to the roof and interrupted their moment of silence. Suddenly other sounds returned as well, as if world screamed, telling Benny that he made fatal mistake. Telling him to run away before it's too late… But it was too late.

Mar slowly let go of Lucy and before anyone could react, even open their mouths, dashed towards Ultrakitty and Benny. They weren't fast enough to dodge.

He jumped on Benny and hit him against roof, then started to beat his face with rage. Benny tried to dodge, but Mar's attacks were too fast and too strong for him to do so. Soon enough cracks started to appear on his helmet. The only thing that was saving his face from being broken.

"Don't touch him!" Ultrakitty roared and caught Mar's fist with mouth, only to be hit against roof too. Mar roared and, letting go of Benny, started to attack Ultrakitty. His attacks were insane, each was becoming much stronger than before. Very fast her face become cracked and small bits of Lego fallen out.

She was screaming in pain, she tried to break free, but Mar only hissed and kept on beating her right to the moment she fell on the roof powerless and whined in agony. All her body was covered in cracks, it was impossible to bear this pain. But even that didn't stop Mar, he was ready to kill her. He already aimed his clawed hand right in her left eye, when suddenly Benny jumped on him.

"I need to get him away from here as far as I can!" Benny thought, he tried to push Mar away from Unikitty as far as possible. Mar, roaring with fury, tried to catch him, but Benny kept holding his back and dodging, making it almost impossible.

Mar started to slowly lose it. His left eye shined even brighter and small red sparkles appeared on his clawed hand. He was ready to do the same thing he did to the robot he once fought. And destroyed. And now, he was going to destroy Benny too.

"LET GO!" Mar roared and finally managed to catch Benny by his helmet. Only one second left and Benny was already chocking in Mar's hands. Mar was not going to let him live. They all deserve to die. Everyone should die!

"N-no! D-don't!" Lucy whispered. She was too hurt to yell, but Mar, even if heard her, just ignored. His eyes were trembling like crazy, giant smile appeared on his lips revealing his fully sharp teeth. He wanted to kill him, wanted for all these past years.

All this time he was forced to listen to him, to all of them. Every day wanted only more and more, but never had the chance to do it, but now… Now… NOW HE'S GOING TO KILL HIM, KILL ALL OF THEM!

Mar laughed loudly at the only thought of it and squeezed Benny's neck even tighter. His claws deepened in his skin and left giant cracks and wounds. Blood started to stream down. More and more. He. Needs. MORE.

"Almost…." Voice hissed. It was as excited as Mar himself. The feeling of his second kill made Mar insane. It was so great that he wanted only this and nothing more, only kill.

Benny started to turn dark blue, only few more seconds and he's going to die, then Mar's going to take care of Unikit-

Mar roared and let go of Benny, when giant bat rang hit his head, leaving giant scratch on mask. Mar turned towards the one who stopped him from his second kill and saw none other than Batman.

He was full of weapons, ready to fight against Mar. His face showed nothing but cold anger and disgust. Mar hissed and turned towards new opponent, his red eye scanned him for weak spots and found only two.

"It seems, you're even crazier than that guy, aren't you?" Batman hissed and aimed his pistol at Mar. He dodged the bullet and dashed towards Batman's direction.

Batman jumped away, dodging his attack and kicked Mar in the stomach. Mar, ignoring the pain, caught Batman's arm and tried to break it, but Batman saw that coming.

"Don't think that's going to be that easy…." Batman thought. He turned towards Mar and hit his face with his own head. His new mask was heavier, which made this attack even stronger and more effective.

Mar hissed in pain while Batman, not letting him recover from sudden attack and do something, hit him against roof. Mar roared in Batman's face and started to break free from his grip, while Batman kept on beating him.

The new cracks Batman was leaving on him, were almost immediately healing. This made Batman's eyes widen, but he kept and kept beating him, until Mar managed to break free and catch Batman by his face. And hit it against the roof.

The battle between these two was brutal, they were beating and tearing each other up. From time to time they were switching places, one time Mar was on Batman and then Batman on Mar, but even this wasn't stopping their fight.

After sometime Mar managed to once again break free and bite Batman's cheek, tearing bit of his mask and flesh off. Batman hissed in pain and hit Mar right in head. This attack was strong enough for Mar to let go of Batman and back away.

They stood only few meters away from each other. Staring at other with fury, Batman's suit was tore pretty badly, Mar's face was full of fresh wounds and twisted with animalistic fury.

The sudden silence that fell between them was intense, none of them moved to continue the fight, they were waiting for something to happen. But no matter how long time they were waiting, nothing was happening. World once again froze, watching, waiting for what going to happen next.

"Why isn't he moving?" Batman thought. He was closely looking at Mar, waiting for him to do something, anything, but still got nothing, "He must be playing his insane game" His eyes narrowed, "I already saw what he's capable of and yet still he's not going full strength on me…"

Batman quickly glared towards others and saw that Benny managed to stand and now was pulling Unikitty away from here. To then return after Lucy.

"At least I managed to win some time…" He turned to Mar and saw that he was studying his suit. All his weapons, starting from pistols and finishing on bombs. Bombs…

"He must be planning something…" Batman clenched his fists. He needed to distract him and needed to do it now, before this creature comes up with a plan, "Say, psycho, who are you?" Batman asked darkly, "Or you already forgot your own name!?"

That hit Mar pretty hard. He hissed loudly in respond, like if he didn't understanding what Batman at all, but understood the not friendly ton of his voice.

Batman smirked coldly and that was enough for Mar to lose it completely. He roared and dashed towards Batman, but instead of attacking him, did something that Batman wasn't expecting to happen at all. He grabbed his bat bombs…

Batman's eyes widened, but he realized Mar's plan too late. When he tried to back away, Mar already activated all of them at once and threw towards Batman. Just one second, one breath in and then…

BOOM!

They all exploded at the same time, making giant shock wave that threw Batman away and on the next roof. His body was cracked, his legs were gone, he was defeated. It was the complete win of Mar over Batman.

Batman that was always joking about Emmet being useless because of his one arm and now Mar made him pay. He made him pay for how he was treating Emmet and now Batman was even more miserable and weak. Karma comes for everyone.

The whole roof where they fought was destroyed and set on fire, in the middle of it stood Mar, his suit burned almost completely, but he's not. His flesh wasn't touched by fire at all as if his armor made him hard as metal. The fire only made his scars, Emmet's scars, shine brightly, revealing them all.

He was laughing, this laughter was terrifying, it sounded like there were two people laughing, instead of one. It was switching from deep to high, making it painful to hear. This laughter was almost the same ton as villain's, but still there was something that mustn't be in the laugh of psychopath. It was care.

Throwing his head back down, he quickly turned towards Lucy and stepped forward. She, who only few seconds before managed to stand on all four and was slowly crawling away, stopped and shook in terror.

"Lucy…."Mar hissed. His voice glitched, only for one second revealing Emmet, but it was not Emmet. There was too much insanity in it to be Emmet's voice, but still the sound of it made pale Lucy turn completely white. No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!

She tried to move faster, but whole her body was shaking. He was already near her, she could hear his heavy breathing. She, understanding that this is end that she is going to die, closed her eyes and said goodbye to everyone she loved. Mar was standing near her, his clawed hand started to get closer to her throat when something hit him once again.

Turning around he saw that it was Sweet Mayhem and she was terrified, but kept recharging her pistol and shooting towards him. That weren't simple cartridge, it was cartridges with sleepy gas.

Mar dodged from another bullet and clenched his fists. His eyes burned with hate even brighter than before. Why everyone continues to keep him away from his Lucy!? She was HIS and he wanted only to protect her! Or it was what he thought he was doing… His corrupted mind no longer understood that he was only hurting her.

Sweet, noticing that his fists glowed with red power, immediately stopped, but it was too late. He roared like giant dinosaur and punched the roof with full strength, making it break in two.

Giant pieces started to fall on the street, almost falling on the people, who weren't fast enough to hide. Mar, using some of the broken and falling pieces, jumped towards Sweet Mayhem.

He was moving too fast even for her, she barely had time to understand what was happening and decide which direction chose to dodge. She flew down, dodging him and immediately dashed towards falling Lucy. Sweet managed to catch her right before she hit the ground and quickly flew away.

It was close, if she wasn't fast enough Lucy might have died. The building was too big even for her to survive if she hit the ground. Turning around Sweet saw Mar, he was standing on the next already cracked roof.

His fists kept shining with power, he was ready to destroy her, destroy all of them. Even if would take him destroying whole city, he's going to finish what he started. No matter what.

It was insane, his face showed nothing but urge to kill, nothing but insanity. Now it was impossible to say that behind the mask he was Emmet. Emmet, the one who would never hurt his friends, who would never do something like this, did the complete opposite. He hurt all of them.

Mar, seeing that his prey gets away, growled with rage and hit the roof, then again and again. He was furious and wanted nothing, but destruction and chaos. And he is going to get what he wants…

"Lucy, are you okay?" Sweet asked. Lucy nodded in respond and looked down, there, behind broken car were Benny and Unikitty. Her heart started to race faster. They managed to get away in time and looked much better, than they were before. This made her eyes fill with tears of relieve.

Sweet, noticing where and how Lucy was looking, dived down and carefully stood near Benny and Unikitty. They winced from so sudden appearance, but later, after figuring out who it was, sighed in relief.

Benny slowly smiled at Lucy, but smile looked so painful that it made Lucy's heart squeeze. Only now she understood all the danger she was in, when met him for the first time. How near DEATH she was. And now she was thinking, what would have happened if she managed to stop him and continued asking, even forcing him to tell her everything.

"Wait here, I'm going to return for Bat-"

Loud screaming and sounds of something falling caught Mayhem off. Benny paled once again, turning almost as white as Lucy and sat on the ground, while Lucy, already knowing what that means, set near Benny and hid her face in hands. It was horrible.

The screams were full of pain and agony, they sounded so loud and so near them that it only made their state worse. It reminded them of the first time it happened. Reminded of the moment when most of them were broken mentally and someone even physically.

Sweet, not understanding the meaning of it all, flew in the air and looked at the direction of new screams and crack sounds. Her face turned pale and heart raced at impossible speed. There was horror.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing, it was even worse than what happened before. THAT was the true hell and only now she understood that it was not a joke and everything was serious. Just few hours before everything was normal, they were just upgrading Metal Beards suit and now it was as if their sweet life was nothing but a dream that crashed by reality.

Most of the buildings were broken, giant pieces were everywhere on the streets, a lot of people were trapped under them, slowly breaking to the pieces. And dying. They were the ones screaming with such agony and pain. A lot of blood.

Mar, who's hands were in dark yellow blood, kept hitting the giant building, making it fall more and more on people, who tried to run away, but weren't fast enough. Every last one of them, who was slow, who was weak, fall. They all were crashed, broken, killed and all because of how they were treating them.

All the people who died were the same people that were telling them that they are weak, that they can't do anything. And they proved them wrong. HE proved them wrong. He can do EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING HE WANTS!

Sweet almost passed out by the sight of that horror that was happening right before her eyes. She wanted to believe that it wasn't real, that it was just a nightmare, but it was reality. The horrifying reality they now live in. The reality where there is no one to save you, only yourself. Where you're all alone, where there is someone who can kill you with ease.

And the one who caused it all, wasn't even the villain, it was Mar. Mar who almost killed the mall, Mar who destroyed half of the city within few seconds. Mar who wasn't Emmet anymore…

There was NO Emmet there, only MAR.

I truly don't know what to say, I mean, I know that lego movie isn't violent at all and that's TOTALLY NOT what you wait from fics about it…

BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF!
