Stab, dodge, roll, almost get caught in the back by another curse, thank whatever deity that let him have his shikigami. Then stab, slash, and run. His surroundings becoming a blur of motion and fighting.

"these things just keep coming" he thinks. He had already cleared the first floor and was currently in the process of clearing the second. Compared to the first floor this was hell. The walls were practically overflowing with curses. He didn't know how all these curses got here in such a sort amount of time, but that didn't matter as he raised his arm again, even if it was already burning from the strain he slashed again at a low level curse jumping at him. He watched as his knife cut cleanly through it and as the body disintegrated not even touching the ground and thinks "I hope yuji is okay"

"Got to get them out of here"

But with another wave of his arm a force was sent out and decapitated another black slug head with an eye and mouth. However the stub that was once decapitated started gyrate and whirling around before 2 more heads regenerate in its place. "What the hell? This things regeneration is off the charts". His thoughts were cut of Yuji having to jump away from a massive wave of the heads attacking him. Once he landed he took a quick glance at where the curse had attack, and saw a couple of cracks in the floor. "Shit this things going to cause so much collateral" Yuji thinks with a grunt of disappointment at the thought of paperwork. However it was at this point he finally got a good look at the curse as it made its way out of the occult club room.

Yuji then took in the giant of a curse. It stood at its full height and took up pretty much the entirety of the hallway, yujis line of sight was blocked off from wall to wall by inky blackness, broken up by the multitude of tendrils with eyes and mouths. He couldn't just shoot gravity at the thing, it would just put up a guard and regenerate. So he needed to take it out in one strike, hmm... however before he could get to far lost in thought he saw something that shouldn't be here. The curse had a tendril leading back into their meeting room and yuji was just now seeing what the damn curse had been after.

Sukuna's finger, the father and king of destruction himself, the curse above all other curses. The cursed myth... (A/N all right enough meat riding, but you guys get the point.) and yuji for the first time felt fear.

stab at the ground, see another curse jump at you, slightly lose your balance, correct, and kick. With a grunt and some cursed energy megumi kicked away another semi-grade two curse. From what he's seen there has been a mix of only grade 2 or lower curses. Which a grade 1 or 2 on its own wouldn't be much for megumi and his shikigami to take care of, but with absolute waves and hoards of the weak or slightly above average curses, coming at him it was proving to be more of a challenge.

However it seemed megumi's luck was turning around as he saw that for the moment there were no more curses around to sense his cursed energy. But that thought made him stop if they were going after the highest amount of cursed energy then that would mean that they were moving up to the third floor. "That's We're yuji is!" Megumi realized. But he couldn't move his body. He didn't know when he was laying down but, he heard loud crashes and bangs but megumi couldn't focus on that. He needed to cut the curses off before they could all get up the stairs and get to yuji. But how to do that. He new he didn't have long to think, the curses were probably already worming there way up the stairs. That's when a bad... a really really bad plan formed in his head it would work but the consequences might be more then he'd like to deal with. But it would help him in the long run

Megumi let out a sigh as he got up from the ground. His muscles were screaming at him to stop and to enjoyed his reprieve, a little longer, but he let out a grunt as he put a hand on the ground as he hoisted himself up onto his feet. Wobbling only a little. When he finally stood straight his demon dogs came up and meet his sides as they looked to him for orders.

Megumi let out another sigh as he said, "I'm sorry guys but it looks like we are going to need to split up, we need to clear all the stair cases of curses." So with a slightly mournful look said "alright you guys run down that hallway" at this he pointed to the hallway all the way on the right. Where their hallway ended was at an intersection to 5 other Hallways two on the left one in the middle and two on the right. A very basic school layout. The dogs, ever the fateful servants let out twin barks and dashed off.

Megumi then held out his hands and called "Ten shadows technique: Summoning trail: toads" he channeled his cursed energy to his shadows and from there 5 small green toads with wings came out of his shadow, and hoped around in front of him. Megumi then collapsed to one knee and thinks "man when's that backup arriving." Before with his head bowed says "toad summons please help me, I need your strategic help and support capability's. To help in the clearing of a hallway possibly filled with curses. " after making his declaration,head still bowed offered up one of his hands in a gesture for some sort of agreement.

Megumi didn't dare raise his head to check the summons answer. While true in what he could find about the 10 shadows technique the toads were far from the strongest creature he could summon, but they were amongst the most prideful and while if they didn't acknowledge him and didn't allow him to summon them they would just kick his ass here and now but.. his train of thought was cut off by a croak.

Now normally people can't understand animals but that's what makes the ten shadows technique special he can communicate to some degree with the animals he will or is able to summon. Hence that's why he let a small smile appear on his otherwise exhausted face. They'd help. With another croak megumi was order to summon fifteen more of their kind and then they'd be able to take care of the hallway, megumi did some mental math as he thought about how much cursed energy it took to summon the 5 then times it by three and let out a breath filled with worry this would leave him with just a little bit more then what he'd need to only summon two of the next creatures he wanted to, and have just a little bit left in the tank for actual combat.

but he didn't want to fail his summons so he put his hands into some gesture that just came to his mind and said "summon: toad" and he could feel the drain as his shadow morphed off of him and "popped" into the appearance of toads. Megumi let out a sigh as he saw the small army or toads and let out a breath of relief as he wiped his brow and stood up only now meeting the gaze of his toads and said "thank you for your help, please clear that hallway, at this he pointed to the 1st hallway on the right and watched as his toad army hopped down and unlike his demon dogs there front lines where immediately under assault but seemed to be able to fend it off with use of the agility and tongues.

Megumi this time instead decided to stay on his feet this next curse could be tricky he thought, but he couldn't wastes to much time. So he put his hands together in a sign and said "Nue" his bird shikigami summoning behind him its massive wings flapping and created small dust clouds. Megumi gave the bird some slight pets before saying "alright girl me and you are going to take on the snake, okay?" His bird without a mouth obviously couldn't speak back to him but the ten shadows technique saves him here as well as he can get vague impressions or information from one of his summons. And he can give this information too, if it's over a longer distance with stuff in between himself and his shikigami then the connection gets finicky. But right next to each other it was practically like having a full blown conversation.

After some slight gestures with Nue's massive electrical wings, and the impression of impatience, at both him wasting time on starting the ritual and the time it took him to start it. He could only let out a sigh and a chuckle. Unlike what most people would believe Nue was actually megumi's first shikigami he had him for years at this point and they had a far stronger bond then him and his demon dogs. It also helped that Nue could fly, and megumi loves flying.

But he eventually put his hands up with his knuckles facing each other and called out "Ten shadows technique, summoning trail, summon: Snake"
