Story 0: First Shadow
In the dusk of our Destiny, we raised a banner casting a shadow against Humanity's foes.
This shadow started small with the accomplishments of only a duo to keep it adjacent to the light. It was raised to harbor the hopes and dreams of others who might yet follow them unto glory and make their wishes reality through power, effort and struggle. The First Shadow was cast across the legion of guardians, open invitation and a rallying call to wage war against those things that went bump in the night.
We started small, but now we are many, with the cast shadow growing larger every day. With every life we touch, with every light kindled the shadow grows farther and farther, covering over all who would darken the world we've built and shatter our life and dreams. To the enemies of the light, we are no friends…
We have shattered Vaults of Glass.
We have conquered the Dark below.
We have slain the Rabbid wolves.
We have dethroned the Taken King.
We have shown the Machines our Wrath.
We are Primus Umbra, The First Shadow cast upon a battlefield. And, by the light's grace, we are the last sight Humanity's enemies will ever see.
