Andrew woke up groggy as hell with a vague memory of what happened. He stretched his now very sore body and examined his surroundings in the safe confines of his Mercedes.

'Man… What the hell happened?'

Andrew grimaced with a pounding headache.

The area surrounding Andrew was like of Hongkong. Andrew had to blink a couple of times and stared into the city skylines in bewilderment. Why was he in Hongkong and what the hell happened on state highway 1 that brought him here.

'There's no logical ideas or theories that would make any sense…'

'This must be a prank by my mates… right?' Andrew pondered.

"Guys very funny now"

Andrew spoke aloud. Expecting a prank to be played on him by his friends, but no response.

Clearly, this isn't a prank and Andrew knows it but doesn't really want to. He then took his seatbelt off and opened the door of his car.

*BEEEEEEP!

"Holy shit!"

A startled Andrew instinctively slammed the door shut as a car with its horn blaring flew past him with an accompanied whoosh.

Andrew realised that he was on an active highway again, it's still dark out so he assumed that it was 1 to 2 am currently but that's not the case. He then opened the door where it was not wide open but enough for him to snake out from it.

He started his walk to the boot, the cars here caught the attention of Andrew, they looked… weird and the sound…

'oh boy, it's just road noise coming from their wheels…'

He cringed at the thought of a car with no soul or life... It reminds him of Tesla's. Once at the back of his car, he opened it. The contents stored in the boot of the car were still the same after he left towards Queenstown, which complies of a suitcase with clothing which would of lasted him 2 weeks on his holiday vacation. Water and snacks that would only last the drive there.

There were other miscellaneous items that were important to his studies in a thick folder stacked up nicely. Another one of those items was his computer which stored files of chemical bonds of petrol and the processes of making it more sustainable would be helpful in the future of research he's doing.

Andrew then went to close the boot but stopped halfway through it and realised something deep.

'Wasn't I still driving?'

'The car was still moving when I fell asleep…'

'Was this a miracle? Or I'm in a coma and this is just the figment of my imagination…'

With this morbid thought he finally closed the boot of his car, took a short stroll back into his car and started it preparing to take off in this weird spinoff of Earth.

Andrew's car could be seen and heard on the Lungmen highway. A consistent growling comes from that supercharged 5.4 Litre making people in their car stare at it like it's an anomaly…

Well, it is an anomaly, and it sticks out like a sore thumb. It wouldn't be too long that Andrew would be pulled ov-

*WHOOP WHOOP!

Andrew looked at his rearview and just sighed.

'This was bound to happen…'

Andrew signalled onto an off-ramp and went to the nearest parking lane he could see. The officer pulled up behind him with its lights on. Andrew could see the officer. He looks very paramilitary compared to Earth's counterpart.

The officer knocked on the window and Andrew complied by lowering it.

"Hi there officer, what seems to be the issue?"

Andrew asked hoping he would smoothly get away. With the officer that close Andrew could notice his subtle features, horns coming out of his helmet and the weapon of choice…

'A sword?'

Andrew thought disbelievingly.

"Do you have any weapons on you?"

Andrew came back out from his thoughts when the officer asked.

"Uh, I do not."

The officer then asked him for his licence which Andrew complied and gave. He then inspected the ID card with disbelief.

"Sir I need your actual ID."

'Uh oh…'

Andrew grimaced.

"You see… officer… I'm from New Zealand."

Andrew thought about running but that wouldn't get him anywhere legally.

"Sir please step out of the car."

The officer ordered with a serious demeanour. Andrew knows where this is going, so he's got to comply to make the process smooth. More officers arrive on the scene to aid the original officer who pulled him over if things ever went south.

"Sir with due respect"

Andrew asked.

"What have I done wrong?"

The officer again stared at Andrew and answered accordingly.

"Sir you are going to be arrested for forging Identification, driving a vehicle with invalid registration, Driving and operating a vehicle with an invalid ID."

With that answered Andrew had to comply, He shuts the car off and opens the door.

"Do I need to be cuffed?"

"It's standard procedures."

"Alright."

Andrew steps out and turns around with his hands behind his back, onlookers are staring at him while he's being cuffed.

He was then dragged into the back of the officer's car. Andrew then saw his car getting towed probably to an impound lot. With that done, his trip to the officer's headquarters is going to be a long and slow one.

Andrew woke up by the shuddering of the police car going over the speed bump.

'Seems like I'm at the station now.'

Andrew took a gander outside, the building he saw made him look in awe. The building's name was the Lungmen Guard Department. The gate to the underground parking to the LGD building opened. The view of the tower gradually disappeared from Andrew's view as he heads down under.

Once they got into a parking port, the officers exited the vehicle and started conversing with each other which intrigues Andrew.

"Whoever we picked up has an interesting vehicle."

"Yeah, it's pretty loud."

The other officer laughed.

"Man, it sounds like one of those monsters that'll growl at you, you know?"

Andrew smiled at that remark.

'I wish they could have seen the advert of this car when it came out, literally, a monster lives in the thing.'

The officers continued with their convocation.

"It sounded like that till our suspect got out the car."

The other officer nodded.

"We didn't really know how to start the thing, so we basically put its two rear wheels on trolleys and towed it back to our HQ."

"Anyways enough chatter we need to book him into a room"

With that bickering over the door to Andrew's compartment opened and the officers there motioned him to get out. He twisted his bottom to where his legs were out of the vehicle and slid down a bit just enough to contact the ground.

"So… where am I heading?"

Andrew enquired to which the officers responded.

"Just follow us."

They took Andrew up an elevator up to the lobby and booked him into an interrogation room. They then uncuffed him and asked him to take a seat at the table.

"Please wait a moment as I'll get the inspector."

The escorting officer left whilst closing the door to the interrogation room. Andrew was there sitting in the most movie-like interrogation room he's ever been in. He glanced over at the "mirror" which was most likely a one-way window.

'Besides the fact that I'm sitting in the interrogation room, their headquarters looks pretty fancy.'

Andrew inspected the room even further but found nothing interesting to it. He needs to kill time but basically has nothing, the officers took all his belongings as evidence. He sat at the table tapping his left index finger against the table just to kill the damn time.

At this moment Andrew was half asleep head hunched over on the table. The door to the room opened which brought his attention towards the door. He lifts his head to examine who walked in.

'Is that what I think it is?'

Andrew mused over the reptile-like tail on the inspector. The inspector coughed to get his attention.

"Sorry, but is that tail real?"

"Excuse me?"

The inspector furrowed an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I'm asking if it's real."

The inspector looked gobsmacked, Andrew then noticed her ID card "Ch'en Hui-chieh"

"Sorry about that question it may have seemed redicu-"

Inspector Ch'en cuts him off.

"Yes, the tail is real like most of our operators here."

'Ok, that answers it.'

"So, what has brought you to Lungmen?"

'Lungmen?'

Inspector Ch'en notices Andrew's confused expression.

"I've never heard of that place, it just reminds me of Hongkong… Do you have a map of each continent."

"We do, but I'll have to interrogate you first before you can have access to it."

Ch'en paused a bit reading through the report she was given.

"So, let's start with, how you got here with no identification, licenses, passports and that vehicle of yours."

"You see here… you wouldn't believe me if I told you…"

Ch'en raised a brow.

"Go on continue."

"I'm not from here."
