Chapter 2: Uzumaki training/ Cocky Son of a Bitch

After a long hot shower Menma got dressed quickly and followed the man to a room where Uzumaki member was. The man who had walked Menma to the room walked on the stage where a few others were at. "Allow me to introduce myself I am Shio Uzumaki the commander of this training ground" said the man now known as Shio. Studying the man more Menma had saw that he stood almost 6'1, was well build, had mint green eyes, wore battle amour under his white kimono, had tan skin like most Uzumakis, and his hair the traditional red however he kept in it three ponytails. "For the next few years, we will be turning you into true Uzushio ninjas we will not do we our elders did we will NOT count on other clans or villages to survive. Anyone under the age of eighteen will start with the basics everyone who is older will have advance training" said Shio before stepping back allowing a young woman to take over. "Hello all as you probably may or may not know I am Oksana Uzumaki and I will be teaching you the basics so please follow me" said the woman as she started walking off.

-First Year of Training-

The first year of training was on focused on studying Uzumaki history, learning perfect Calligraphy, and learning the beginning levels of Fuinjutsu. After three months of doing this Menma felt like all this was boring and while he wasn't the only one who felt like this he was the only one brave enough to say something. Upon Oksana finding out this information and seeing that he wasn't the only one she told them that if they passed her test you start teaching them Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. This excited the students so they bravely took the test thinking they were ready however when they got their test they crumpled under the pressure literally. One by one Oksana had put a temporary gravity seal on their chest and it was up to the students to grab a partner to draw the right seal to take it off in under five minutes. The only ones to be able to do this were Menma and Karin however their partners couldn't which resulted in them failing their tests.

Once humbling her students Oksana informed them that they would be starting over from the beginning as a punishment. Menma was pissed however this was the consequence of his action and he took full responsibility for leading his fellow peers into something they clearly weren't ready for. For the remainder of that year Menma took it upon himself to help anyone who was struggling to understand and even led a study group during their free time. In December they retook the same test and everyone passed this time and Menma was credited with being the main reason for their success and while most people accepted this fact others didn't and planned to expose him. After passing they were told to that they were to report to the bootcamp on January 1st which sounded exciting to Menma and a few others.

-Year Two Of Training-

Once getting to the boot camp Menma was slapped with a seal on the back that disappeared as soon as it was applied. After being sealed Menma was given weights that he was told to place on which weighed one hundred pounds on all his limbs. After taking a few steps he fell just like everyone else who had the seal on them he was then picked up by one of his friends that had seen him fall and they led him to where they were supposed to meet Shio. Ten minutes later Shio and two other men showed up to address them "Alright I'm going to keep this short and sweet for the next twelve months you are in my hands and I intent to break you mentally and physically to the point that you will want to die" said Shio who smile evilly after saying that. "Okay so here's the plan you will eat at the following times: breakfast: 0500 to 0700 hours, lunch 1300 to 1500 hours, dinner 1900 to 2100 hours the rest of the time will be spent training or sleeping take the day to get settled in" stated the man. After a full year of nonstop physical training everyone in the bootcamp was up to par or almost at the level Shio wanted them to be at.

-Year Three of Training-

For the third year they decided to split the year up into two basic things. The first quarter of the year would be spent teaching them the traditional Kenjutsu style of the Uzumaki clan. The second quarter of the year was spent teaching them katas. The only person whose schedule was different was Menma due to his bloodline. The Prince was taught the Royal Uzumaki kata, and the Royal Uzumaki kata which was ten times harder than the regular Uzumaki styles. Towards the end of the year the clan had decided to start teaching them basic fire or water jutsus because the clan was known for the Lava or Boil kekkei genkai. Since Menma was of the Royal bloodline he would he taught both in hopes that one day he could combine both just like a once talented Uzumaki member during the First Shinobi War. When Menma had off time or a moment to rest he would work on his other kekkei genkais doing small creative ideas. After three years straight of nonstop training the Uzumaki kids was allowed a month of rest before they would be thrown into a harder training schedule.

Menma and some of his classmates had decided to sneak out and head to the Land of Tea to relax in peace and spend some time with each other. They spent a few days there before a letter from Orochimara arrived telling Menma to Otogakure to pick something up from Orochimaru the twin brother of his grandmother. Menma felt this was odd since he didn't know the man nor did he know that his grandmother had a twin. The next day the group left and headed towards the new village using a map that was included in the letter. While walking the group discussed the fact that Otogakure is located in the Land of Rice which is close to the Land of Fire and the Land of Grass so to avoid both lands they took the long way to the Land of Rice. Once getting to the gate of the village they were checked and questioned but upon seeing Menma's face they were welcomed and let in. The gate guards told him that Lord Orochimaru would want to see him immediately.

During the ten-minute walk to the tower the people on the streets started to whisper about the group that was being walked in by anbu members. Very few knew who he was but all knew the boy was of royalty. After a ten-minute walk they had finally made it to the tower, got past the lady at the front desk, and now were in the office. The office wasn't much of an office more like a throne room being that only one chair was in the large room. When Orochimaru saw who was in his office he was delighted however he knew that his sister wouldn't like the boy's hairstyle nor how he was dressed. Menma had tan skin, crimson red hair with black highlights, hazel eyes that creeps people out from time to time and wears a lower face mask. Today Menma was wearing a black muscle shirt which had the Uzumaki swirl on the back, a white fur coat that was hanging off him, black anbu pants that had designs on them and a few tears below the knees, through the pants you could see black bandages on his legs and ankles, snake earrings that the Orochi clan usually wears and lastly black steel toed boots. Menma was rocking med length Viking locs which allude to the fact that the boy hardly washed his hair.

Orochimaru then turned to who the boy was with which slightly confused him since he was told that the boy would be coming alone. He pushed this information to the back on his mind making a mental note to tell her sister about later however right now he had people to manipulate to get what his village needed. "Prince of Uzushiokage and his loyal followers allow me to welcome you to Otogakure" said Orochimaru smiling at the group. "Greeting Otokage-dono" responded the group. "Since I didn't know you please introduce yourselves" said the Otokage already knowing partly who they were from the letters he received from his twin sister. Before anyone could speak up Menma answered for them "I am Menma Uzumaki, the person on my left is Karin Uzumaki, on my right is Tayuya Uzumaki, and the person behind me is Jugo my bodyguard" not introducing the other members of his group. "Well then Prince how may I assist you?" asked Lord Orochimaru acting as if he didn't know why the boy was here. "We were asked to come here to pick up something for elder Orochimara" answered Menma.

After a moment of staring each other down Orochimaru got up and walked over towards a safe that was behind a painting and opened it. He then took out a large scroll and handed it to Menma "In that scroll is everything that you will need for your mission" said Orochimaru with an eye smile. Menma started to make a move however he found himself pinned against the wall by Orochimaru and his friends had been knocked to the ground and held by other Orochi members. "Now now little prince let's not doing anything irrational" said Orochimaru choking the boy against the wall until Menma placed a seal on him making Orochimaru let him go. Menma then roundhouse kicked Orochimaru however it turned out to be a clone "If that is all the strength you have then you're a hundred years too young to beat me now leave me office before you get seriously hurt" demanded the Snake Sage. Menma and his friends got up and left the office inwardly swearing revenge since right now they were too weak to defeat the Snake Sage.

-Twenty minutes later-

While walking through the village they were shocked to see how big the village was seeing as Otogakure was a new village that the Orochi clan had created three years ago. Menma had never cared for the clan because they creeped everyone out and while they were a small clan most of them were old. To anyone who didn't know them personally they would think that they were in their early thirties, however, after discovering the demonic jutsu that they used to switch bodies every five years no one trusted them to not try to steal their bodies. The only person that Menma trusted within the clan was his grandmother though due to this knowledge now known to the Uzumaki clan she was removed from the advisor position and had a seal placed on her. While walking around the group was looking for a hotel and after thirty minutes they found a hotel that had enough rooms for the whole group. After getting settled in their room Menma had told them to meet him in his room to discuss an idea he had. After ten minutes of resting everyone headed to their group leaders room.

After everyone took a seat somewhere in his room Menma explained his idea. "We're going to rob a town" said Menma who said it like he was asking if they wanted to grab ice cream or see a movie. Seeing his friends faces who was looking at him like he just lost his damn mind he went in more detail "The town is called Thieves Landing it is a place full of rogue ninjas, outlaw ronin, and bandits" explained Menma to the group who still was wondering what the hell was wrong with him. "Umm Menma-san" said Karin who was then pushed out the way "ARE…YOU..FUCKING..CRAZY" said Tayuya as she was slapping Menma left to right. After kicking Tayuya away Menma explained more "First off don't ever do that again second no I am not crazy the place is located one land over in the Land of Grass" stated Menma who was rubbing his cheek. "Wait you mean you want to rob the same land where mercenaries, C rank nuke ninjas, bandits live?" questioned Tayuya. "Yes" replied Menma. "The same land that the Yakuza runs?" questioned Ryosuke who was now reconsidering going back to Uzushiogakure. Ryosuke was one of Menma classmates and top competitors when it came to any academic however physical wasn't that strong. "YES!" said Menma doubling down. "Wait why and how are we robbing them?" questioned Karin.

"I've heard from my cousin Tsunade in that town all they do is gamble and they most likely will be having a tournament soon and we are going to rob them while the Oto ninjas distract them" explained Menma. This confused everyone trying to figure out what the boy was talking about. Menma took out a scroll that he stole earlier when he "accidently" bumped an oto ninja "Some Oto ninjas are planning to rob one of the big tournaments that coming up I was given the mission to meet someone there however fuck that we are stealing that money" stated Menma. "Well that brings up the question of how much money do we have? Because if we have less than one million dollars this plan won't work" stated Irina. Irina was a beautiful young ninja that caught the eye of most of her male peers however she never gave any of them the time as they were weak in her eyes while everyone besides Menma who she couldn't beat.

Menma took out another scroll and laid it on the table "In here is five million dollars that should get us into a few games and allow us a chance to win a few games" stated Menma. "How the fuck did you get your hands on five million dollars?" questioned Tayuya. Menma ignored the question not wanting to explain how stole money from the Uzumaki vault "Let's see everyone here besides Fu so the question is who's in?" asked Menma. "Well, you know me, Jugo, Karin are forced to go because if we don't Lady Orochimara will skin us alive" stated Tayuya. "As much as we love you me and Nero are not in on this dangerous mission man" said Neo one of the twins. "I am also out on this one sorry Menma-kun" said Tinashe. "Me, Irina, and Akemi will always have your back man" replied Ryosuke smiling. This relieved Menma now knowing three of the smartest teens he has met will be on this mission with him. "Fuck it me and Tamiko are down what's the wor-" before he could finish someone covered his mouth. "DO..NOT..EVER..SAY..THAT" said Jugo who was the only real genin and the main reason why they were allowed to travel.

Trying to break the tension in the room Menma grabbed everyone's attention "Okay so that makes nine of us so we can do honestly do three groups of threes and everyone have their own mission to do with their group also we going to need one group to act like a couple on vacation and buy us everything we need" stated Menma. "That's something I can handle however to keep from drawing attention me and Ryosuke are going to head out communication through scroll if you need anything" said Irina as she and Ryosuke took money and walked out the room. "Alright everyone else who is not helping with the mission please return to the Land of Tea and maintain our rooms for when we need it" said Menma in a tone that was more tell than asking so they left. Menma waited till they left out "Okay so here the plan and please do add anywhere if it doesn't make sense" stated Menma before explaining his idea.

Later, that night when Menma was in his room alone showering a snake came through his vent and left a large scroll on his table. Upon getting out of the shower Menma saw it and opened the scroll reading the note and seeing who it was from pissed him off however inside were three smaller scrolls which had different colored strings on them. The scroll with the red string on it held different types of clones jutsus that explained what they did. The scroll with the green string on it contained ten million dollars which he would have to pay back with interest since it was from Orochimaru. And the last scroll with a yellow string on it held a deck of cards and rules on all the card games that people played with them. Already knowing how to the Shadow Clone Jutsu Menma made thirty of them to practice and get better at them before he went the Land of Thieves.

-Timeskip-

Over the span of thirty-six hours the group left Otogakure and entered Thieves Landing trying to be suspicious. Menma had discovered that unlike the Land of Tea the Land of Grass had border guards that were stationed at multiple outposts. What upset him was the fact that these jokers were extorting travelers for access to their Land something Menma nor Jugo was with so they killed them and burned the bodies. Once making it to the gates of the town they were shocked to find that there were no gate guards where there would usually be one or two at. Walking around for a moment Jugo and Menma headed to the first hotel they saw however they decided not to stay since it turned out to be a brothel. Walking around more they found another hotel that was in the center of the town the only downside was that it was very expensive to stay there. Although he didn't want to Menma had Jugo pay for the executive suites which were located on the top floor of the hotel however they cost 500 thousand dollars each though they were worth it.

After getting settled in Menma and Jugo walked around the town looking for their friends to inform them were staying. While walking around the town both had noticed that unlike normal villages there were no ninjas nor anbu watching them. Jugo also noticed that Thieves Landing wasn't set up like a normal village there were no compounds, no ninja shops, and most importantly there was more than one tower in this place which confused him. While during some shopping they had run into a few of their members so they gave them the keys to their room and gave them money so they could buy things that they wanted.

At the end of the day everyone met at the hotel and had a big dinner to celebrate and to talk. After dinner all of them were sitting at the dinner table having small talk before Ryosuke grabbed everyone's attention "Excuse me everyone but I have brought some gifts that I think that you all will like" said Ryosuke getting up and walking into the living room and coming back with a large scroll. When he opened the scroll 9 different swords appeared the only thing that was similar was the Uzumaki symbols on them. "Where did you find these?" asked Jugo. "Umm it was a person here selling them in the black-market area" answered Ryosuke. "Tomorrow show me who you brought them from please I would like to talk to them" replied Jugo planning to kill the person who was selling their weapons. "Well since we are giving gifts I have something as well" said Karin who took a medium size scroll out of her endless bookbag. Inside the scroll was clothes that had amour inside of them and necklaces that supposedly boosts their stamina. "This place has to black market city because where do you even find stuff like this" said Menma which almost everyone agreed with. "Uzushiogakure" said Jugo was now standing which caught everyone attention "It seems that those people who are living in our former homeland has sold our items which is why we couldn't find them" said the experienced Genin. This annoyed everyone now knowing that they had paid for things that already belonged to them and were stolen from their clan. "Okay we need to rob everyone" said Tayuya. "I agree with you Menma-sama I know you had a plan but we need to take back what belongs to us" said Jugo. "We need to make bigger sealing scrolls" said Menma getting up and opening his backpack taking out ink and paper. Everyone else did the same thing while coming up with a plan to take everything that belonged to them plus the money.

-Day Two-

After breakfast Jugo, Ryosuke, Tayuya, Kiyoshi, and Tamiko headed to the black-market and hopes of finding the person who was selling Uzumaki gear. Menma, Karin, and Irina on the other hand had left the hotel and went to gamble in different games to gain information about the upcoming tournament. While playing card games Menma's opponents had come to realize that the boy was good at cards for his age however others just thought the boy was just getting extra lucky. After going on a winning streak people and cleaning house of a few bandits they had started calling him a cheater and demanded the money they lost. They had pointed to the fact that both Karin and Irina, who were sitting behind him, were somehow helping him win. Menma explained that they were just watching his back since this was a town of lawless men. Being called what they were the goons dumbly got mad and charged at the three. Using only taijutsu the three took down goons but this resulted in them being kicked out and banned from that building for causing damage to machines and for the reminder of their time there they weren't allowed to be inside the same building unless it was the tournament. Menma, who was still on a roll and wanted to keep playing went to another building to gain enough money for the High Roller Poker Tournament that would be taking place tomorrow. Karin and Irina had decided to try their hands at making more money but didn't he Menma's luck so they split even. After a full 18 hours of gambling Menma had enough money to get into the tournament so he went back to his hotel room to get ready for the big day. Karin and Irina had met up with Jugo's group and helped them secure the items that they had repossessed from the merchant.

-Day Three-

The tournament would be taking place at high noon so Menma and his group relaxed until that time. When noon came Menma found out that Kiyoshi was also in the tournament which surprised him since he didn't think that the boy earned that much money. One by one they were allowed into the building and given a number which told them where they would sit and the assigned table. Ten minutes later the host announced that the tournament would be dealers choice rules. This meant that whoever was the dealer had the choice of what game they would play and the player could even pay the dealer to change the game. This news didn't discourage anybody who was good at multiple card games and used to these rules however for those who weren't they were screwed. Unlike yesterday Menma wasn't coming here to play around. His plan was to end his first few games quickly. No matter the game or who he was playing against Menma would never look at his cards just use pure luck which Kurama told him was stupid but he didn't listen. His opponents and even the dealer thought the boy was a fool for this however he didn't care. Being cocky Menma just on a gambling high and those who tried to take advantage ended up losing their money to the young Prince.

In under three hours Menma won the tournament which outraged most of them since the brat never looked at his cards but won the whole thing. Most of them had planned to rob Menma once he stepped out of the town but then they remembered that the boy had friends. Once taking his picture with the owner of the building and the host of the tournament Menma was told that he had to pay an out-of-towner fee which was a sum of 250 thousand dollars. Before he could respond they heard multiple explosions from outside and then people entered the room attacking everyone in sight. Menma made clones to protect himself while others in the room started to fight off the invaders.

Irina was also in the room quickly ran to Menma's side and informed him the Oto ninjas were here and had started they plan early. Menma had his clones grab all the money on the table and put it into a few scrolls while he, Kiyoshi, and Irina had to the vault within the building. Quickly the three jumped on an elevator and took it all the way down to where the money was located and blew up multiple doors with sealing tags. While they were in this building another two groups were in other buildings doing the same thing using the chaos outside as cover. They were on a timer and while they knew that money was made by rich drug lords and crime bosses they needed it for their village. When they were finished the vault was empty and his group had thirty large scrolls and while he had a bad feeling about this but he pushed this thought to the back of his mind. Hearing more explosions going off the group knew it was time to get the hell out of there so they high tailed it out of there using undergrounds caves that Ryosuke and Jugo had heard about through the brothels he went to. To cover themselves better Menma made his clones hinge into masked Otogakure ninjas and fight recklessly helping the more experienced ninjas because the clone distracted the ronins, bandits and nuke ninjas who were having a hard time trying not to get hit by paint or ballons full of urine. (A/N: Never said Menma was mature)

-A week later-

It had been a week since the robbery in the Land of Thieves and the villagers who lived there were outraged that someone attacked their town and stole their hard-earned money. From the bodies that were left over from the battle they knew it was ninjas from Otogakure. Since this town was under the protection of the Yakuza they had placed a bounty on anyone who was wearing a sound head band and declared war on them. Menma and his group had decided to lay low in the Land of Tea for a while before moving again. While in their hotel room Menma had counted his winnings and all the money on the table from the tournament while the rest of the group had counted the money from the vaults. From the tournament Menma had won a grand total of 750 thousand but because he stole the whole pot he had got he had a total of three million dollars. From the money in the vaults is where they really hit the jackpot.

After counting the money up, the money from the vault comes up to be 750 million dollars total which if they split nine ways would have given them 83 million dollars each. However, Jugo started pulling rank even over Menma telling them that the village comes first and that the Uzu council gave them what was left over after they fixed up the village. This didn't go over well with the group nor did it go over well with the Oto ninjas who were sent by Orochimaru. Knocking the genin out they had demanded the 50 million dollars that Orochimaru wanted and 20 million dollars for fucking up their mission. Menma had given them the money to stay off over the Snake Sage's bad side and the extra twenty million, however, told them to take Jugo with them and drop him off in the Land of Fire. (A/N: Cold world) They made his fellow members look at him strangely however Menma explained that if Jugo comes back with them the Uzu council is going to keep all the money and leave them with nothing. This made sense to them however Irina had pointed out the fact that the council would demand some of the money which made them come to the decision just to give them Jugo split plus a little extra. Opening bank accounts Menma was told that his mother had already opened him one which had a decent amount of money in it. Opening a new bank account which had only had access to Menma then added his money from the job and now was sitting on a good amount of money. The group had decided to relax for a few more days until a letter by raven came to them informing them that they had only a week to get back to the Land of Waterfall before they were forced to start their training all the way over AGAIN. This kicked them in high gear and gave them motivation to get back to the village however Menma and a feeling like something or someone was missing from the group.

-Land of Grass-

In the Land of Grass stood three major towns. The first town was Thieves Landing the town of lawlessness and gambling which usually led to one person owning another person their soul or life. The second town is a village called Kusagakure which is one of the many minor ninja villages. The third but most important town was where the Yakuza gang lived and they controlled the whole Land of Grass. However, because of the attack they had lost a lot of money thankfully they caught one of the thieves.

-Yakuza Headquarters-

In the basement of the headquarters a teen was hanging upside down naked, bloody, and beaten. "So, let's try this again WHERE THE FUCK IS OUR MONEY!?" yelled a man holding a meat clever. "I DON'T KNOW!" yelled the young teen crying. Before the man could ask another question a kunai was thrown into the boy's body "Look here we knew you're from the Uzumaki clan and we know that you and your dumb ass friends help the Oto ninja steal our goddamn money all you have to do is tell us where your group took that money" said a figure in the shadows. "Okay ok I will tell you" said the teen boy however before he could speak he passed out. "What the fuck happened"?" asked the boss. "The kid passed out we been torturing him for a week straight let em down and take him to a cell" said the man from the shadows. "I WANT MY FUCK MONEY BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" yelled the boss before leaving the room.
