I slept like a rock and it wasn't comfortable,I kept remembering my past few years before coming here, my sisters, my challenges,my obstacles the devils I came across, the being locked in a jail cell in the city of dis in the underworld, that's when I heard "come back" and I woke with a start as lightning cracked somewhere outside and I looked around as others were sleeping, I didn't even hear any of the girls and the lights from the candles were slowly about to go out , that's when I went to the bathroom and found myself staring at the bathroom mirror where my reflection appeared before me, then Nox my timberwolf familiar appeared before me, with gray fur, and blue eyes it looked at me as I started to shake and I heard "Ciaran, your up late, are you ok?" and I sighed and breathed and huffed and said "Yeh, just nightmares'' and it looked at me and nodded "is it abaddon?" and I nodded "I cant believe that that beast is down, I also can't believe that Alexis and Gabriel aren't trying to find me" and it growled slightly and said "your in remnant now, far from europe no one know you here unless you talk about it" and I nodded and I turned off the water and when I looked into the reflection I saw a lightning flash through windows behind and I left the mirrorworld I knew what they hid, and eventually slipped into the dream world, or was it a deep meditation sometimes I can't tell these days. So the next morning I was walking through the lockers looking for 448 because that was the locker I chose, I still thought about the fact that that locker practically empty but a pair of knives, leather jacket and my backpack.``I don't need this thing" I muttered while the girls yang and ruby were arguing about teams, and weis was talking with the armored girl who I had yet to meet, then there's the other few around me who I didnt pay to. I sighed I needed my armaments in the field which like I said was two legal folded knives with auras around them and my own blood, I ran my hand through my hair and at last i found it that's when I overheard this girl talking about 'letting chips fall" if I wasn't already unsure I wouldn't care who my team was, but I felt this was an opportunity and stepped over to her with rather fierceness and said "Weis trying to get into a good team are you din smutsiga hund?" and she crossed her arms and looked at me ",,you again wait what did you call me?" and that's when the girl in gold smiled cheerfully "Nice to meet you...uhh" and I leaned back and crossed my arms and said "Its Caleb, Im new to ze school, not new to schooling, remember vee had a little skirmish the other day,where I called you a dirty muskrat and now a dirty dog,if you aren't dim," I wanted to apologize and you went ahead and called me EMO? Tall dark and EMO?" and she blinked at me and slapped her forehead "oh wow you gotta be kidding me you got a mouth" and I nodded , "yeah do something about it if we're talking about teams I think you better find a good partner because I'll watch for you on the battlefield" and that's when the other girl spoke to me and said " uhh not to break up this lovely banter but actually teams are made of four members each and I blinked "Four members, traditional your gonna need em all because in squads that I've practiced, I've handled teams of 2,4,6,9" and they looked at me "What you mean how connected are you?" and I nodded "Lets just say I've done some battle where I'M from" and Weis popped over "Caleb was it? Do you know who you're talking to?" and I blinked and crossed my arms at them"she's a warrior obviously, game recognize game but i told you I'M not from here" and She squinted clearly getting the implication and said "this is pyrrha She graduated at the top of her class at Sanctum" and she waved "hello again" and I shook her hand purposefully getting in weis's face "so introductions I got you, ruby, yang, now her" and She growled and said "yeah right, she's won the Mistral annual Regional Tournament four years in a row..a new record" and I nodded "A nod to her skill…but war is not based in sport" and She raised an eyebrow "She's on the front of every pumpkin pete's marshmallow flakes box" and I blinked and scowled then in a fashion that wasn't the first time I said "Ohh ok thats you I'm sorry I didn't recognize you" of course this was a lie because I don't even know what that was, but the last thing I wanted to do was show arrogance like I have been purposely And she continued to my dismay after the girl began to flaunt abit "yah it was cool for a time but the cereal isn't really good for you" and I nodded then Weis continued "so after hearing all this, do you really think you can ask her to be on your team?" that was when I was going to put her through a table mentally, but I heard "Ciaran…think about this…these are your competitors do you want them to underestimate you or overestimate you" and I growled at them, and they looked at me slightly frightened and i said "no..I guess not" and She was sweet she popped up and said "Caleb I think youd be a good teammate" and I said "really? You think so?" and I heard from nox "Ok the voice is too much.." and I nodded and coughed and sightly and said "oh you think so?" and Weis came up behind me and said "No only YOU think so" and I raised an eyebrow "you being a hater for my team sciocco geloso(jealous fool) It's not like I can't carry a good team alone but maybe what about..you? The implication was great trust me I know for a fact that she couldnt handle her own team, I could feel her arrogance is natural she would fail so hard as a teammate but this pyrrha girl..maybe could be one I could get to know? Like I said "game recognizes game" and She coughed and held up her arms ``Too close Big guy pyrrha help me?" and that's when pyrrha attacked with her weapon and I widened my eyes I only had a second to act that's when I held up my arms stroked down my arms and crossed them and called "htgnerts'' and when I closed eyes and held out my hands in front of me energy flowed into my hands, level 1 shielding spell and the aura held the spear in front of me even as hard as it was thrown that's when I saw the look on pyrrha and weiss face and I realized I was showing too much power and I hated to do this, but I closed it off and the spear bounced me into the wall and stuck me to the wall, crying with rather hard impacts as I landed into the wall cursing "för helvete nox"(Damn you nox in swedish) that's when the loudspeaker called for all first students to meet at beacon cliff and that's when we all started to leave, that's when pyrrha pulled her spear out and said "it was nice meeting you" and I nodded,"bet" that's when Yang and Ruby came back and looked down at me and blinked "You ok heartbreaker" and I growled "yeah, joost 'having an off day, zat pyrrha girls got..powah,imponerande,"(impressive) and She nodded "and you thought they'd bend to a fight here?" and she left thats when Ruby picked me up and we continued on saying something along the lines of "come on buddy" So we are now outside of the area, on giant platforms, which I had sneaking suspicions will be useful, as IM now hanging out in the cliffs and crossed my arms, standing and even I can feel this wasnt steady, I looked over at glinda and Ozpin, listening and my eyes peered across me at ruby, yang,what was his name ren, nora, pyrrha and of course weis is at the end and IM at the front where I need to be and honestly I could kind of put two and two together and thats when glinda spoke "Youve no doubt heard rumors of teams, so let us put the end to your confusion each of you will be put into a teams of four, today these teammates will be with you for the time that you are here at beacon so it is within your best interest to be paired with the team you can work well with that being said the first person you make eye contact with will be your teammates for the next four years, go to the north east of the forest where there will be a temple, there will be opposition along the way be sure to destroy anything in your path" and I nodded I cracked my knuckles and looked down the line of the people from ruby to weis, and I wonder who I would work with, "why anyone?" why not fighting myself? That was my thought because I had one person by my side, for a few years, then only after I was framed was I ended up "paired" for the rest I peeked in and out but I got the jest so basically our landing strategy was AFTER they SENT us into the forest and shortly after I got that answer as all of us were sent flying into the forest. So I was sent flying as high as the sky went, and as far as the trees went, my first thought was stop my ascend into the world below me. I was at least as high as a skyscraper, as an ascend and the first step is to get to the ground, from the sky is to stop my flying. as soon as I started to slow and the feeling of zero Gs was keeping me in the sky, I only had one option I curled myself into a ball and as I fell I pointed my hand at the ground and cried out "Nox Handle the landing, I call you forth" I cried out and in that moment that I was going to draw blood for the energy flowed around me in a form of a massive anthro wolfman that was about to be formed when Something stuck me in the side of the jacket and pinned me into a wall FAST again I might add here I cried out, and well being there instead of the air Nox did not form, instead it kept me instead pinned to the wall again and when I looked down Weis was there staring at me and she blinked "Caleb…" and I growled "how about no, I want to face you in battle not as your teammate, IM inte bär dig misslyckande" which meant "im not carrying you failure" in swedish and She glared at me and formed her rapier and pointed at me "you want me to end you now?" and I smirked and was about to go into my knife or sent another bolt at her that's when I heard ruby cry out "where are you going we're supposed to be teammates'' and I smirked "me or her make the wise choice failure" She turned away from me and I sighed in relief, now I just had to get off the spear…wait a sec this is pyrrha's spear" again and that's when I looked down and pyrrha was looking at me "Caleb…can I join your team?" and I sighed "well you are strong and not as annoying…as far as I know, get me down" and she nodded "I have questions for you for when you come down" And I sighed this was going to be a long day.
