Ch. 5 team building
So after she got me down she was quick to chat, but I was within limits. But the first thing that came out of her mouth was "what kind of semblance was that? your power! you almost looked like you summoned something?" she looked at me and blinked almost amazed she was fast I had to think quick, but I just shrugged "It was a landing strategy but you got to me first, I didn't zink it would work anyvay zanks by the way" she listened and again was about to grill me further when gunshots rang out and the smell of fire moved around that's when I held up my hand and said "did you 'ear zat?" she stopped and listened that's when she nodded and said "gunfire seems some of our comrades have encountered the enemy" and I nodded and kept walking and that's when I was whacked by a massive tree branch that gave me a mark in the side of my face, that send me to floor and I growled and shook my head and that's when pyrrha looked at me "Caleb..ohh im sorry" and I said "It was an accident, my fault for not staying vigilant " and she said "why didn't you activate your aura?" and I blinked at her, and wiped the blood away from my cheek and said rather nonchalantly "bekuz I didn't zee it kuoming, doi" and She blinked slightly and said "Caleb…do you know what aura is?" and I blinked at her, and when I got to my feet I sighed and dusted myself off and said "var inte så tät If zeres vun zing I know about tis aura" I said "saying "dont be so dense" in swedish trying to remain rather meek, the last thing I needed was this one to know about was my skill in magic, and it seemed this land worked the same as my own, I stopped and looked at her in the eyes and said "Aura is…vell" and she sighed and said "aura is the manifestation of our souls-" and I nodded and added to this "aura is the very lifeforce around us, it protects us like a shield, and projects out of us like a blade or shield that we block slash, a gun that we shoot, we send it we throw it, we channel it, our aura is what we are made from I use aura to-" and I got a red alert feeling as Nox shocked my system internally- it was a warning because he knew If I told too much I would get looks and I collapsed to the floor and she looked at me blinking "Caleb what's wrong were you hit?" I growled and said "its basically the means to use magic" and she stopped and said "yes..I mean if you want to look at it that way" She then put her hand on my temple and said "Now… concentrate" my eyes widened and I said "On second thought, inte ett bra drag" which meant "not a good idea" I said and I heard Nox speak "no Caleb..let it play" I was about to argue, but she looked at me funny and I nodded. She then touched my temple, and it made my aura visible for a sec like I usually summon it was bright blue with slightly different streams of color and in the same fire around me at that moment as what I summoned, there was a flash and my eyes saw her in slow motion she went limb to the floor and I said " pyrrha are you ok?" she responded with "I... it's ok I unlocked your aura the energy I unlocked is your own and you have a lot of it…but what was that I saw inside you?" I heard her think slightly and nodded "Shall we go?" she nodded and we kept walking. We walked through the forest, slightly calling, it was slightly cold, and clouded by an aura of smoke from the fire that weis created thats when I snapped my hand and two orbs of blue energy formed in my hand and it was in that moment three wolves walked out the brush each one bigger than last and while they were moderately bigger they werent hard to see that it was going to be a fight, pyrrha immediately started to shot at them while I went in for the kill, my aura came out in a form of a pair of knives that I threw at the creatures that got their attention and I pulled out my folding knives as I slit my arm causing blood to leak down into my hand that formed into a trident that I swung and stabbed into one of the wolves face and swtched sides blades that I pulled out and swung one ofthe other sides which was a large double sided bladed spear and cleaved another across the face, its head came off halfway and the massive wolf came boundin to me when pyrrha threw her spear into its neck and leaped, aimed and brought her shield into her sword through neck,exploding its skull; She then pulled the spear from it neck and put another down by turning her spear into a shotgun and shooting it in the head and heart, they all were brought down. thats when we continued to walking through the forest "good?" I asked and she nodded, breathing mildly, "you've got a hold of your aura, quite quickly" and I nodded breathing and pulling the knives from the trees and absorbed them slightly shaking my head slightly "Men allvarligt It is not hard" I said which meant "seriously though" shaking my head with an accent. As we started to travel forward we came into a massive cave that we both came to "zink zis tis it?" soon as I formed fire in my hand from "erif" spell we traveled into the cavern and at first it seemed like it was empty that's when I saw something shiny up ahead that which turned out to be A HUGE ASS SCORPION…
