Here is the twenty-seventh chapter of this story released when I wanted it to be in keeping with my self-imposed upload requirements for this series. The first of the tag battles is over with a decisive and quick Black Bulls victory over Blue Pegasus and the highly anticipated final tag battle is still to come but before then there is a good tag battle to watch and analyze for the Black Bulls as they enjoy the rest of the day knowing that they're going to be leading going into the final day. There were no questions that required answering but there was one guest review that requires a response which I will do now. To Brayden (guest), thank you for your review, glad to hear that you liked the chapter. As for the Battle Royale, I will not reveal anything pertaining to it so you'll have to wait and see how it plays out over the course of several chapters but rest assured it will be good. As for the rescue mission during the Battle Royale, while there will a very minor alteration for the start, rest assured that for the most part the Black Bulls will not be there and that one minor thing is simply a special warning system that will not affect the actual rescue nor will it be involved in anything below ground. I consider the events in the rescue as unalterable canon in this story due to there being no logical reason for the Black Bulls, the crossover influence, to directly interfere with them so other than a slight twist that won't actually affect the events they will not be involved. Chapter 27: Evenly Matched
"Well after that quick and powerful first tag battle the wall has been repaired so let's get right into the second of our three tag battles today." Chapati said as the competitors walked out just as Asta and Noelle returned to the Black Bull box in time to watch it, and get some mana replenishing food from Charmy to chow down on though it only worked on Noelle but Asta still enjoyed it as they all got ready to enjoy the remaining battles. "In this we see Lyon and Yuka from Lamia Scale against the top dog and cat due of Mermaid Heel in Kagura and Millianna!"
"So there are some strong fighters in this." Noelle said as she looked down at the battlefield. "Who's got the edge here? We've seen the Mermaid Heel girls fight, Kagura beat a Sabertooth girl and Millianna put up with almost half an hour of falling at the hands of Finral so we know she's got a stubborn streak that means that she won't give up easily but we didn't get a good gage of her power beyond what that MPF thing revealed during the third event's tiebreaker."
"We also saw Lyon in Hidden though he was comfortably handled by Asta and Rufus in that event while that Yuka guy was in Chariots but we only saw him use one spell to boost him and try to nullify the magic behind him that didn't work as the others either went around it or avoided it by snorting whatever Ichiya snorted." Mimosa added. "So it's hard to tell with them other than Kagura who we know is good following her win over that Celestial Spirit Mage and is considered the strongest female wizard in Fiore though with the likes of Erza, Minerva, and of course Noelle that spot may be in doubt now."
"She was really good with that sword move though I'm still trying to figure it out or why it works the way it does despite being sheathed." Asta said. "I don't have sheathes so I don't get it."
"There's bound to be some kind of magic there, something to look into I guess." Nero said and Gordon nodded at that as it would help his best friend Asta so he was going to try and uncover it in a book when the Games were over. "But Lyon shouldn't be judged because he faced Asta and lost, that's tough for most to overcome especially as he had no idea what Asta can do. It's important to not forget that Lyon is talented, he's supposed to be the number two in Lamia Scale and they came second without him or Jura last year so he can hold his own against Kagura."
"True, our little Rasta is something else." Magna said. "They didn't know what hit them in Hidden. That event was almost designed for Asta to win it."
"Aww you don't have to be so nice Magna." Asta said with a grin.
"Don't let it go to your head." Noelle said. "You were great in Hidden but there will be times were even you can't win."
"Yeah I know that." Asta said getting serious. "Just means that I have to constantly get stronger to avoid that."
"Regardless of Asta's big head or not, it's not wrong to state that he's one of the best in the Games." Nero said bluntly which no one could disagree with. "Honestly, of the competitors in the games, Erza, Jura, Laxus, and Kagura are probably the only 4 who can match Asta I'd say but two of them it's because they use swords so can engage Asta in combat that is not reliant on magic. Regardless, this matchup is a tough one to call."
"Really?" Noelle asked as the commentators speculated on who would win it as well. "You think so?"
"From what we've seen it is." Nero said her observation skills from spending centuries as a bird kicking in. "Lyon is strong, upper tier of the competitors but not top tier I'd say while Kagura is top tier but hasn't faced Lyon and his Ice Make Magic may be a good counter to her Gravity Magic for all we know. Meanwhile Millianna is clearly the number 2 in her Guild and has some binding or draining tricks while Yuka is pretty unknown but his Wave Magic is a nullification magic so that can't be counted out either as we all know just how strong that kind of ability is."
The rest of the Black Bulls knew that as Nero paused for a moment. They had all seen just how much Asta could accomplish with his ability to nullify magic so they had a baseline for what someone with a similar ability like Yuka could do.
"Of course, it's not as good as Anti-Magic of course but it's decent and tricky to handle as it removes what most are used to." Nero continued. "As such, based on what we know, I'd give the edge to Mermaid Heel but it could go either way or end in a tie for all we know."
"It's a tossup." Gordon said simply. "So exciting to watch because we can't predict it as well as we could other matches."
"Well their ki is strong and determined." Asta said as he focused on it to get a good read of them as well as determine their ki signatures for the future. "Though a little off as if both Lyon and Kagura are holding back and I don't know why."
"We'll find that out soon enough." Yami said. "It's about to start so best be ready to watch and learn just in case the final event is a free for all so you should know what all the others can do."
The Black Bulls nodded and those on the team, including Charmy who was their reserve and so might still be called up for the final event, paid extra attention. The second of the three tag battles was about to begin and they wanted to be fully ready for it and to see how it played out as the four competitors stood calmly in the arena not moving as they waited for the gong that would signal the start of the battle, a light breeze running through it causing Millianna's cloak to flutter a little in it.
"Um, what's she doing?" Noelle asked as Kagura suddenly turned and walked away from her guildmate even though the battle hadn't begun yet. "Why's she doing that?"
"Is she not fighting?" Asta asked. "But I wanted to see some more of her swordplay."
"She's testing her guildmate." Yami said with a drag on his cigarette causing them all to look at him in confusion. "Kinda like how I send you on missions that you would struggle on rather than take them myself and finish them easily. That swordswoman is giving the cat girl a chance to show herself and surpass her limits. Her match with Finral is probably part of this, she didn't really show anything there beyond her stubborn determination so the swordswoman likely wants her to have a proper match this time around."
"Not my fault that she didn't yield." Finral grumped. "I didn't want to make her fall for almost half an hour, she just refused to quit that's all."
"So the guys will fight her alone?" Asta asked ignoring Finral the Lamia Scale guys chatted before Lyon looked to the Fairy Tail Box for some reason. "And why is he looking at Fairy Tail?"
"Probably just the eyebrow guy." Nero said deciding not to answer the second question, she knew why Lyon was looking there from her observations but it would just go over Asta's head so no point telling him. "He's the weaker of the two so this will start with a one on one and will only assist if need be."
"Whatever the case there's a reason for it and the swordswoman will get involved if the cat girl fails." Yami said as Mato announced that the match would be beginning. "So watch closely."
As soon as Yami finished speaking there was a gong sound that officially started the second tag battle and Millianna leapt into the air, her cloak coming off as she did, and sending out one of those burnt orange tube things that she could make at both boys. Clearly she wasn't going to focus on one of them but both, and force Lyon to engage her as well whether he wanted to or not.
Millianna's quick reaction to the gong gave her the first move but the boys easily leapt to the sides and avoided the attack. That didn't deter Millianna though as she pushed forward again and used the tube as a whip to go after them, kicking up dust in the arena that covered them for a moment before it cleared to show that she was attacking again only this time going straight for Yuka alone but he easily dodged it.
It was now apparent to everyone that it was just Millianna fighting while Kagura stood back so Lyon took that as a chance to try and engage her by sending what looked like a swarm of ice birds at her but they were intercepted and broken by the tube whip Millianna was using before she put herself in front of her guildmate and made it clear that they were facing her only. She wasn't going to back down or let them engage Kagura unless they got through her first.
"She's not half bad with that thing." Asta said as Yuka began to send blasts of his magic at Millianna that caused her to stagger and stumbled but she evaded it as she ran at Yuka, sometimes on all fours, while dust was being kicked up before leaping into the air. "And more agile than I expected."
"Her match against Finral wasn't really much to watch, he was able to get her into the air with a portal early enough that he held the advantage from the start." Nero said simply as Millianna sent out a vortex of her tubes from the air. "And unless you can either turn into a bird like me, have magic that can cause or mimic flight, or are like the Captain and can use the Mana Zone technique you're pretty limited in the air. Add in Finral's portals and…oh that was unexpected."
"Er…" Noelle said as the vortex turned out to be a diversion to allow Millianna to get in and land on Yuka, her legs over his shoulders and locked on his back as she sat on his upper chest and began punching him in the face over and over again yelling 'kitty punch' with each strike. "That's different."
"It's a little cruder than I was expecting after the start and how graceful she was looking." Mimosa said as Chapati commentated on it. "There's only so much a girl can do like that without magic but it's clearly a good attack that's at the very least staggered him."
"That cat girl's more vicious that expected, not bad." Vanessa said. "Good thing you didn't let that happen to you Finral, you might not have survived that."
"I would be fine; all I'd need is Lady Finnes's memory and I'd get over it." Finral said defensively as Millianna leapt off Yuka who looked more annoyed than anything else and began to taunt them a little. "And I have Fallen Angel's Wingbeat, that would have been enough to survive that attack."
"Well good thing you did because that kitty has so serious claws." Vanessa said as Millianna suddenly tool off her gloves to reveal that she had long, sharp fingernails that were painted red and begore the men could react she leapt past them scratching them on their faces with both hands in an interesting attack that didn't seem to be magical like that Toby guy in guys' Guild could do, just painful. "She's not holding back at all."
"Part of it is her movements." Asta said analyzing it as the commentators gave their two cents on what was going on before Millianna suddenly sent out another tube that was blocked by Yuka's magic and nullified after a few seconds. "Her magic was pretty strong according to that MPF thingy and what that enforcement dude said about it though it was only 5th of the 7 who went, but in this she's doing more because her style is acrobatic and hard to counter."
"True, she's more of a cat than we realized I guess as she's modeled her combat style after cats as well." Noelle said as Millianna attacked again only this time she split the tube into two, then three, and then kept splitting into more from there. "Huh, she can create more than one, that's unexpected though I should have seen that coming."
"It's certainly useful." Nero said as the tubes moved through the air under Millianna's command and Yuka threw up a shield of his Wave Magic to block several with it but with so many Millianna was able to get one around it and behind Yuka to grab his left wrist but that was severed by an ice bird attack from Lyon who she'd seemed to have forgotten about until that moment. "She was holding that back in reserve to use at the right time, should be interesting now."
Nero was right as after that Millianna began to make more and more tubes while the boys did their best to defend against them with their magic but finally she managed to ensnare both of them with Yuka being held in the air in an X shape, tubes on his wrists, ankles and chest while Lyon was still standing on the ground but had tubes wrapped around his legs, waist and left arm that was in the air. Millianna had them now it seemed as if she stood there, her left hand out and controlling at least 9 tubes at the same time as she taunted them some more now that they were at her mercy.
This could be it, Millianna had them, which was impressive given the strength of Lamia Scale, at least until Lyon counter attacked after a few moments of being tied up. Well, counterattack wasn't the right word as…
"Please tell me I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing." Noelle said her eyes wide at how Lyon got out of the literal bind he and Yuka were in. "It can't be that simple to distract her."
"Apparently it is." Nero said sounding uncharacteristically surprised as Millianna laughed and ran around the arena chasing the small ice mouse that Lyon had made and was now controlling around the arena to keep Millianna distracted. "Lyon escaped and distracted Millianna with an ice mouse. I'll admit, that was completely unexpected."
Finally Millianna realized the trick and stopped chasing the ice mouse to turn and yell at Lyon and that's when things got even stranger somehow, so strange that the Black Bulls were lost for words as they watched what happened. It started normal enough, Lyon created a blizzard with his ice magic that chilled Millianna, something her, for lack of a better word to describe her outfit, lingerie was nowhere nearly equipped to deal with.
Then, and that was something no one could answer, a kotatsu was suddenly on the battlefield with a bowl of oranges on it causing Millianna to dive for it and get under the heated table for a moment though none of them but Yami knew what the table was or why she was under it. Eventually, though, she realized that trick as well and leapt up from under the table sending the oranges flying.
"Does anyone know what just happened?" Asta asked really confused as Millianna yelled at the boys for what they were doing. "I am totally lost."
"No clue." Noelle admitted as several of the Black Bulls shook their heads. "This went from odd trickery that could be expected to potentially work to something that is utterly absurd."
"And there's no fighting." Luck complained. "That girl in white is really strong but she'd not doing anything, I want to watch a fight so I know who to battle next."
"Yeah this is strange." Magna added as Millianna continued to complain and Lyon, for some odd reason, looked to the Fairy Tail box and gestured to it before going white eyed at what he saw there. "I'm still trying to figure out how that table got here and now he's looking to Fairy Tail again for some reason, not his own Guild. This is really odd."
"He's got a crush on Juvia." Nero said with a sigh finally answering it now that it had happened twice as she glanced to see that Juvia was shocked by what she was seeing and deciding to have a little fun with it at the same time. "Found that out when through my spying, it's rather amusing as Juvia's obsessed with Gray, Lyon's rival though Gray isn't into Lyon but also unsure about Juvia I think so it's a strange kind of triangle. Not like the standard triangle or like the one that we have here with the dense point."
"Hey, I, er…" Noelle protest going bright red before she trailed off trying to deny it and not sure what to say.
"Oh, um well…" Mimosa also going red as she wasn't in denial like Noelle about her feelings but she was that Noelle also had them for Asta but it was getting harder and harder for her not to notice that she and her cousin had fallen for the same man.
"I didn't mention you two." Nero said with a small smile as Asta was completely oblivious to this while Mato yelled about how exciting the match was, which was one way to describe it, as both Noelle and Mimosa glared at her. "Though I didn't really have to either."
"They need to stop playing around." Yami grumbled cutting off any conversation though he too was dense to how the royals were in love with Asta. "I'm not sure what is going on, though make a note someone to get a kotatsu for the common room and my own rooms as that could be useful in winter, but other than the cat girl using those tubes of hers things haven't been too serious it seems."
"Kotatsu?" Asta asked.
"That heated table that suddenly appeared." Yami said as it seemed that Lamia Scale had that idea as Lyon suddenly made a tiger out of ice that he sent at a shocked Millianna and caused her to run away from it. "There we go this should be…huh, well that's one way to knock out an opponent I guess."
The Black Bulls couldn't help but agree with their Captain as Millianna had run away from the ice tiger in fear and as she glanced back at it didn't look where she was going. That resulted in the girl running full speed, face first, into the arena wall with enough force to crack it as the tiger was dispelled.
Millianna remained there for a moment before she slid down it on her face to lie in a crumpled heap at the base of the wall, her face still pressed to it for a moment longer before she tilted to the side and lay on the ground unconscious. There was no doubt that she was out of the fight and Kagura finally stepped forward to finally join the fight putting herself in front of her downed guildmate, who she'd have words with later, her sheathed katana in hand.
"This is going to go up a gear." Yami said with a grin as Yuka sent a blast of his Wave Magic at Kagura the she tilted her head to the side to dodge before she launched her own attack. "Though that guy with the eyebrow is not going to last long."
"Nullifying magic is useful." Nero said as another blast was sent at Kagura but she blocked it with her sword and pushed through it to send it away showing her raw strength and skill as she closed in on Yuka and the commentators got into it. "But there's a few drawbacks to it and one is that it doesn't work if you're not facing magic."
That was clear as Kagura reached Yuka and slashed her still sheathed sword, clearly she wasn't going to remove the tape that ensured it remained sheathed, at him. Yuka showed some impressive agility as he dodged two attacks while keeping up a Wave Magic shield before he took the next blow to his cheek and staggered back with another shield up in front of him.
However, he wasn't fast enough for Kagura who used that to get behind him and slash him across the back as if the sword wasn't sheathed, though it didn't draw blood, and causing Yuka to groan before he collapsed face first to the arena floor as the crow cheered at that. With Yuka now clearly out as well, Chapati hyped up the sudden one on one battle that had emerged.
"Damn, I've got to figure out how she does that." Asta said impressed by what he saw as Kagura and Lyon stared each other down having just taken out the other's teammate in the battle. "She knocked him out cold with that hit. Stylistically I can add how she fights to my own style but there's more to it and I can't deduce how it works."
"I'm not sure you can learn that." Nero said. "She's using a sheathed sword so you'd need one yourself and so far all your swords are the ones Licht used which were made by magic and stored in his, now yours, grimoire so they didn't need sheathes."
"True." Asta said though he wasn't going to give up that easily. "I bet there's a way to get more swords or maybe other weapons, for me to use as there are blank pages in my grimoire just like there is in everyone else's. Now that would be cool and were in a place that actually uses weapons so I should try to figure that out."
"Do so after the Games." Yami said as Kagura calmly placed the bottom of her sheath on the ground and held the pommel in her left hand as if it was a cane while she and Lyon exchanged a few words that they couldn't hear over the cheering of the crowd. "Focus on the match because this is about to get good. The ice boy was holding back earlier and not directly attacking, his ki showed it, but he's not anymore and neither is she. We've not seen much but from what I can tell from what I've seen and how she holds herself that she's right up there with the best from my homeland with a katana."
"You're right Captain." Asta said focusing on the match and the ki coming from the two remaining competitors so that he could get the full picture of what was going on and that was when he noticed it. "This is going to get better, they're both determined now though I sense something off in Lyon's ki, regret? Could that be it?"
"Probably something bad in his past that was brought up, we all have it." Yami said. "And it seems like he's not the only one. That girl's got something eating her up inside, a darkness threatening to come out that she's barely keeping a hold on."
As Yami spoke his own mind briefly wandering to the day his life changed, the day his bastard of a father had given his little sister that special secret drug their clan had when she'd objected to their father giving it to him. As intended, the drug induced a bloodthirsty state drawing out all of her latent magic power but it had also caused her to slaughter their whole clan except him when she was only 7 years old. However, as soon as he thought it, Yami pushed that aside as that was a long time ago and it was for the best that Ichika always think it was he who killed them and fled into exile and not her.
"Huh?" Asta asked a little confused as the two continued to chat down there before he suddenly felt it right after Lyon spoke and he understood what his Captain was saying. "Oh yeah, Lyon just said something that brought it up. It's, er, rather murderous actually."
"I'm willing to bet good yul and jewel on that being the reason for the tape on the katana that keeps it sheathed." Yami said as the ki in both combatants ebbed and flowed with their chat that suddenly ended with Lyon sending another ice bird attack at Kagura. "And now the fight is back on so let's refocus on that. This has been an odd match indeed but this is where it all comes down to the line."
As Yami was speaking Kagura dodged the attacks before closing in on Lyon and then slashing her katana up to shatter a larger bird of ice that he'd just made and striking Lyon in the chest to send him flying back to hit the ground and slide on the ground. As he did there was a yell from Team Fairy Tail's area that the Black Bulls couldn't hear but it came from Lyon's rival Gray Fullbuster which seemed to really get to him as he rose while Kagura yelled angrily at him about not properly fighting her.
Clearly for all her cool demeanor there was something deeper within Kagura that she was no longer able to keep a lid on it seemed as she took an attack stance, side on with her katana in both hands up by her head and pointing at Lyon. For his part Lyon acted right away creating a big cat of ice with his right hand, an ape with his left and then a dragon behind him with both hands that he then sent at Kagura before she could attack him.
The fight was now properly on and the Black Bulls watched in silence as Kagura leapt up to avoid the attacks from the two ice mammals only to be hit out of the air by the ice dragon. She recovered quickly from it by rolling with it to land on her feet as the ice creatures closed in on her but she remained calm as they did her ki having returned to what Asta assumed was normal for her now that she was in a proper battle.
Before the ice creatures could reach her, they all saw her katana's scabbard glow pink before a massive magic circle appeared in the air above the stadium covering the whole arena floor and reversing the gravity there on everything but herself. It was an impressive display of magic and yet another magic circle which got a few of the Black Bulls wondering if their own magic could be adapted to work like that but with the battle now nearing its zenith it seemed they'd figure that out after the Grand Magic Games ended.
"Well that's interesting." Nero mused as the girl's hair flew up to stand on end due to the gravity change though that was all that was affected as the target was the battlefield where Lyon and his ice creations were floating while Kagura now glowed pink on the ground. "Removing gravity this time rather than increasing it to shatter the ice and crush Lyon into the ground, that's unexpected."
"My Demon Destroyer Sword can handle this." Asta said with a grin. "It would right things back to normal."
"Obviously it would do that." Noelle said annoyed that her pigtails were floating above her head as Kagura suddenly leapt up and used her control over the gravity in the area to cut through the ice and get above Lyon. "But you're different Asta, against you she'd need to use her sword as a sword otherwise she'd not stand a chance against your Anti-Magic. Against the rest of us though, well that spell is powerful indeed. I'd say she's on par with a noble, maybe even a royal, with her magic power."
"No question." Nero agreed. "If I was to rank the serious threats in the other Guilds she's the only one from Mermaid Heel who'd be on the list. In a battle, best to leave her to Asta. Not even Finral's portals could be useful, not with that control over gravity though I think your armor might be able to handle it Noelle. However, for this fight it looks like…"
Before Nero could finish and just as Kagura appeared as she dove down likely with some gravity assistance and her scabbard glowing pink as she brought it to bear right on Lyon where he floated in the air the gong was struck. Lyon was literally saved by the bell as he'd been about to take the sword to the face and the force of it almost certainly would have driven him into the ground and knocked him out to secure a win for Mermaid Heel but instead the match was over and had ended in a tie.
"That's it, time is up in the match." Mato declared so that everyone could hear as the pink glow from the magic circle still filled the stadium. "It's a draw!"
"You heard our mascot and referee folks, for the third time in the Grand Magic Games we've ended a match without a winner." Chapati said as the magic ended and the two competitors fell down to land on the arena floor while Millianna and Yuka finally began to come to. "That means that both Lamia Scale and Mermaid Heel get 5 points for fighting to a tie."
"Well that was anticlimactic." Asta said as Lyon and Kagura turned to go help their teammates. "And just as it was about to end with a decisive move even if she was holding back the entire time."
"She was?" Noelle asked surprised. "And you can tell?"
"It was in her ki." Asta said as the two pairs spoke and walked off though what Kagura said to Millianna was serious and clearly got her down for a moment before she perked up and turned to follow her guildmate out of the arena. "She wasn't going all out though she had upped her game at the end, but neither was Lyon. I don't know why."
"For Kagura it was simple, this isn't serious to her so she's not taking it as such." Yami said with a drag of his cigarette. "She's a warrior, I can tell, so she's not using her full strength unless she has to and as the Grand Magic Games aren't true combat I'm willing to bet she doesn't see the need to go all out. There are some here who might be able to push her to that point, mainly those in Fairy Tail and Sabertooth along with Jura and our own Asta, possibly Noelle as well, but she's not going to go all out just yet."
"Me?" Noelle asked surprised and pleased at the praise she got from her Captain as Chapati commented on how the match had been exciting but that next one would be just as good, which seeing as it was Fairy Tail v. Sabertooth made sense because it was the match all had wanted to see at the start of the Games and before the Black Bulls came out of nowhere but despite their success this was still set to be the match of the games in many people's eyes. "I could handle that?"
"Sure you can Noelle, you're amazing." Asta said with a grin causing Noelle to go bright red and Mimosa to huff, she was as good as her cousin after all just in a different way and she'd show that to Asta because she was going to get stronger so that she too could fight by his side and she'd start with trying to match Noelle's development in Earth Land Magic using that Plant God Slayer book Gordon had given her the night before. "And with that cool armor of yours, I'm sure that you could handle that gravity."
"Asta's right for once." Nero said, she'd mentioned as much before and now she could elaborate on it. "You have the magic power to match, if not exceed, Kagura's, and doesn't that armor of yours allow you to ride or control mana in some way? You're strong Noelle, if it came to it you could handle her."
"Oh, well, yeah I could." Noelle said as her inner self yelled happily at the praise she was getting and she thought on it and how she'd handle what she'd just seen and realized that there was a way she could manage it. "It would be like that Compass Magic elf I guess. Not the same but similar enough that I could do it in my Valkyrie Armor."
"Nero's right Noelle but think on that later, you of all people need to focus on this coming match." Yami said seriously as everyone got ready for the final tag battle of the day that was about to start. "Because there's no question who's in this one and after that change earlier you need to master that evolved magic of yours as fast as possible. What better way than to watch 4 of them in action."
Noelle nodded at that as she set herself and looked down at the battlefield below them planning on learning all she could from the coming battle. After all, she was now the Sea Dragon Slayer and she had to learn how to use it to its fullest now that her magic had evolved into a type of magic that fit with what was unique to Earth Land while also retaining her own natural magic within it.
Well, there was no better teacher than watching that being used by longtime practitioners of it in action as the Fire Dragon Slayer and Iron Dragon Slayer took on the White Dragon Slayer and Shadow Dragon Slayer. That's right, it was now time for the Battle of the Dragon Slayers as the clash would become known as in the lore of the Grand Magic Games as the final battle of the fourth day was about to begin.
There really isn't much to say about this chapter, the Black Bulls got a good look at what some of the best in Lamia Scale and the best in Mermaid Heel can do and assess them should they engage in battle in the still unannounced (to them) final event. Next though is the big one for them to watch, especially Noelle, as a matchup not thought possible at the start but now is and is highly anticipated is about to begin and the Black Bulls will see four Dragon Slayers in action. That's all that I have for this chapter though so I'll leave it off here.
