Chapter 3: The Power of the Reborn Dragons
The arid wind of Valyria blew gently among the ancient ruins as Daenerys Targaryen found herself at the epicenter of an internal storm. Her thoughts were like flames dancing on the horizon, filled with doubts and unanswered questions. What did the future hold for her after her transformation? What would happen to her body when her journey came to an end?
With a heart heavy with uncertainty, Daenerys knelt before the Valyrian Gods and Goddesses, seeking an answer to her deepest questions. But instead of a direct answer, she felt the earth tremble beneath her feet and the wind whisper in her ear, delivering a message in more subtle forms.
The gods did not speak in words, but Daenerys understood their response. She must move forward, experience her path, and discover the answers for herself. Her destiny was intertwined with that of baby Daenerys, and if the baby died, so would she. The baby's life was her anchor in this reality, and she must protect it at all costs, and for that, she needed its mother over Viserys ... she doubted, she remembered all the pain he had caused, since they were children there was always something that Viserys had damaged. Likewise, she tried to remember the order of events of the rebellion; because they were marked with Viserys' madness.
Determined to fulfill her purpose, Daenerys focused on her new powers, exploring the possibilities that lay before her. With a thought, she changed her appearance to look more human, hiding her divine essence from mortal eyes. Then, she began to experiment with her newly acquired abilities: disappearing and levitating, teleporting at will, giving and taking energy from living beings, and healing wounds with a simple hand movement.
Testing her powers on a withered plant, Daenerys felt the energy flow through her, reviving life in the plant and restoring it to its full splendor. A smile of satisfaction curved her lips, but doubt still lingered in her mind. At what point in time should she intervene? How could she change the course of history without altering her own existence?
After much deliberation, Daenerys made a decision. She would head to the Trident, to the crucial moment in the battle between Rhaegar Targaryen and Robert Baratheon, where the fate of the Seven Kingdoms hung by a thread. With a whisper of ancient words she moves in time and appears in the Trident where the battle rages, Daenerys rose into the air, hidden from the eyes of the soldiers fighting on the battlefield. From the shadows, she watched the fierce struggle between her brother Rhaegar and the Usurper, Robert Baratheon. The blows resounded in the air, and the fate of the Targaryens hung in the balance.
Rhaegar and Robert faced each other in the middle of the battlefield, swords raised high, as the roar of battle echoed around them.
"Robert Baratheon! Is this the destiny that awaits us, that we must face each other on a battlefield instead of seeking peace between our houses?" - Rhaegar Targaryen
Lord Baratheon growls with fury as he raises his mace and says, "Peace died with your crimes, Targaryen! You have brought Westeros to the brink of the abyss with your lust and your madness!"
Rhaegar frowns with determination. "And what do you know of lust and madness, Usurper? Your greed and ambition are the true drivers of this war."
"Do not speak to me of ambition, prince! You and your family have ruled with arrogance and disdain for too long. It is time for power to return to the people!" - Robert Baratheon says as he swings his mace with force.
Dodging a blow Rhaegar Targaryen counterattacks and shouts "Power cannot reside in the hand of a savage like you! The Targaryens are the true royal blood of Westeros and we will not allow usurpers like you to tarnish our legacy!"
Lord Baratheon stands firm as he faces Rhaegar's attack. "Your legacy has become a stain on history, prince! And today, on this battlefield, it will end!"
The fight continues between the two forces and the two men they represent continue their fierce confrontation, exchanging blows and words as the battle rages around them. The fate of the Seven Kingdoms hangs by a thread as their sword and mace clash in a duel.
As the battle reached its climax, Daenerys extended her hands to the sky, invoking the power of the dragons. A fiery and powerful energy flowed through her, enveloping Rhaegar in an aura of strength and protection. His wounds closed, his strength renewed, and his eyes shone with the determination of a dragon. But no one else saw the changes, but Rhaegar perceived them and felt empowered by a divine force, but did not know where they came from. The fight continued, but this time, destiny was on the side of the Targaryens. Rhaegar fought with a renewed ferocity, and his blows found their mark time and time again. Finally, victory was his, and Robert Baratheon fell defeated at his feet.
Rhaegar Targaryen approaches Robert Baratheon, who lies on the ground, gravely wounded by Rhaegar's final thrust. The atmosphere is tense as Rhaegar contemplates the fallen Usurper with a serene look but says, "The time for justice has come, Robert Baratheon. Your rebellion has brought suffering and death to Westeros, but now it is time for you to answer for your crimes."
Robert Baratheon coughs weakly, struggling to stay conscious. "Justice? Do you think justice lies at the point of your sword, prince? You are no better than your mad father!"
Rhaegar raises the sword with a majestic gesture and says: "Justice is not vengeance, Usurper. It is the application of the divine law that governs us all. And now, that law demands that the chaos you have sown be purged."
"You have no right to judge me, Targaryen! You are a monster, a murderer who has plunged Westeros into darkness!" - Robert Baratheon
Lowering the sword and bending towards Robert with an air of authority Rhaegar Targaryen says: "I am the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, Robert. My blood is the blood of the dragons, and my destiny is intertwined with that of Westeros. Now, the time of the usurpers has come to an end."
Rhaegar looks at Robert with a mixture of pity and determination as he raises his sword once more, preparing for the final blow and says: "May your death be a reminder of the dangers of pride and unchecked ambition. May the Seven receive you into their kingdom with mercy, but I truly hope the 14 flames condemn and torture you for eternity."
The final blow falls, ending Robert Baratheon's life and thus sealing the fate of the rebellion. With a look of profound resignation, Rhaegar straightens up and contemplates the battlefield, knowing that his victory marks the beginning of a new era for Westeros.
Amidst the clamor of battle, Rhaegar searched for Daenerys, but how could he see her?... and Daenerys realized that he couldn't see her, yet he still sensed the presence of the Valyrian Gods and Goddesses, and sought their energy.
