A/N in the first chapter I said I don't read the comics, so I have very little idea, aside from the research I've done, who Tony Stark is in the comics. I've mostly seen him in the Avengers and Iron Man movies and granted it's been awhile since I've seen them. But I like how Robert Downey Jr. played him, he was sarcastic, smart and kick ass. And his ever evolving relationship with Pepper Potts was fun to watch too. I have no idea though how Tony fits into the altered timeline following the Days of Future Past movie, simply because the two groups haven't interacted in the movies which is when this fic is set by adjusting Buffy's timeline to accommodate that fact. So in this fic, he's part of the Avengers and I don't know yet if I'm going to bring any of them into this story, aside from Tony and Pepper, I mean. If you got an opinion on it, you already know I'll listen to it.

"So, apparently, I have a kid. Who's 22 almost 23 and was created without anyone's bothering to ask me or me getting to enjoy the creating part. Not that I ever wanted to create a kid with any of the multitudinous one night stands I had prior to the whole being kidnapped and tortured thing in Afghanistan." Tony Stark said, staring at the picture and report Charles Xavier had sent him on Cordelia Chase, one of the so called created mutants from a town in Sunnydale California. A place where vampires like to hang out, oh joy. Not. "Which means the ones who created her got ahold of my DNA when I was around the same age she is now. Maybe a little older." He glared at Pepper when she looked like she trying not to grin at him. His age was becoming a bit of a touchy subject as he approached 50. "Her life sounds like a horror show since High School. Two supernatural pregnancies against her will. Possessed by a unknown entity. Brain destroying visions. She actually works for a vampire?"

"With, not for, a human owns the detective agency and Magic." Pepper said. "Definitely not anything I know anything about, Wanda or Stephan could tell us more, but apparently he's cursed, as in an actual magic curse, with a human soul."

"Why?"

"To cause him and the demon animating the body endless suffering because the demon part killed a member of a gypsy tribe."

"That makes no logical sense whatsoever. Someone or something kills someone I love and I'm going to destroy them. Why make him suffer long after I'm dead and can't enjoy it? And the soul part is innocent, right?"

"No one ever said they were logical. Grief makes you crazy anyway. And in the case of demon breed vampires, yes. Some other breeds retain their soul apparently. Again, not something I know anything about. What else does the report say?"

"It's a list of known associates. All of this created mutants stuff became known after other reality duplicates of herself and her High School boyfriend showed up in our reality and helped out with an apocalypse. I thought we Avengers, the X - Men and the Fantastic Four were the only ones who do apocalypses. Not that we've ever called them that. Since when are High School kids dealing with apocalypses?"

"Since the group is centered around a mystically created superhero who apparently isn't the myth most people who are even remotely familiar with the story, thought she was. Again, I'm not one of those who are familiar with the story. Wanda or Stephan, on the other hand, probably are. Especially, as I understand it, they've both become involved in trying to help her or them. Apparently there's two of them and I don't have details on that, either. Isn't it in the report?"

"Just some bare bone facts about each of them. Buffy Summers, stronger then most mutants and barely weighs a hundred pounds. Willow Rosenberg, witch with a split personality, that nearly ended the world and is now locked up in the Vault. Alexander Harris, another created mutant and related to both Jean Grey, the Phoenix and Logan, Wolverine. Oh god, that is a terrifying combination and apparently he's my brand new daughter's boyfriend. Is threatening with a shotgun still a thing? Would it work on a guy who could potentially savage both my mind and tear my body up with his bone claws if he got pissed?"

"You're the genetic father of his girlfriend. If she means anything to him, he's going to be more afraid of you, then a shotgun anyway."

Tony brightened. "Upside! I can threaten him to my heart's content and he can't do anything about it!"

"Yeah, but daughters have this ability called the 'I'm disappointed in you Daddy' look that drives father's into handing over credit cards and reduces them to just glaring at boyfriends."

"You're serious?!"

"I'm a daughter myself, trust me, I know."

"Spoil my fun." He grumbled.

"I'm the one who has to deal with the press after you get drunk and do something stupid. If I could spoil all of your fun, I would."

"Hey! I haven't done that in a long time! I save the world now. Doesn't that get me any credit?"

"It gets you an atta boy."

"Well, that's better then nothing and at least I get to glare at him. You said so and you're never wrong."

"You finally noticed. Must be that big brain you've got."
