Luz walked back to the Owl House, opening the door and being swarmed by three baby bats. Luz just laughed at they flew around her.

"Oh, you three are absolutely adorable!" Luz said, "Where did you come from?"

"Mama has Owl Lady watch us!" One of the babies said.

"Aw, that's so sweet of Eda!" Luz said, "Speaking off, do you know where she is?"

The bats flew into the kitchen, where Eda was slamming her head onto the kitchen island.

"Rough day, Owl Lady?" Luz asked, smirking, "If only you had access to a God that can help."

Eda glared at Luz.

"What do you want?" Eda asked, already knowing what she was doing.

"Unground me." Luz said, "Do that, and I will make sure these babies are taken care of until I head back out."

"I respect your cunning... but I also hate you for it." Eda said.

"Just do it!" King said, covering his ears, "I can't stand this any longer!"

"Ugh, fine, do your godly thing!" Eda said.

"Gladly!" Luz said with a smile, turning to the bat babies. "Who wants to go for a flight?"

"Me! Me! Me!" The babies said, making Luz gush a bit at how cute they were.

King and Eda though, only heard screeching.

"Make it stop!" King shouted again!

"Sorry King! Let's go, babies!" Luz said before transforming, becoming a pteranadon right before their eyes.

She flew out of the Owl House with the babies behind her. King and Eda were left in shock of the transformation, seeing another crazy possibly extinct creature for the human realm right before them.

"Well, at least it's quiet now." Eda said.

"Yeah." King said, finally able to hear himself think again. "I thought my skull was going to explode."

"How does she do that?" Eda asked.

"She's a god, remember?"

"Yeah, but... how does she do that?" Eda asked, thinking a bit.

'If she can connect with the Isles, could Luz possibly learn to become the creatures of the Isles?' Eda thought.

It was something that Eda would think about for a good while. In the sky, Luz was flying slow so the babies could keep up. The baby bats were practically orbiting around her with various questions for her.

"How did you do that?!"

"What are you?!"

"How fast are you?!"

"Can you show us how to do that?!"

"Sorry little ones, but only I can become a pteranodon." Luz said.

"Aaaaaaaw." the kids bemoaned in sadness.

"But I can teach you a few air tricks if you like." Luz said to them.

"Air tricks? Yes!" one of the babies said to Luz.

Luz did a barrel roll. Spinning around with her wings straight like a wheel.

"How was that?" Luz asked.

"COOL!" The baby bats shouted.

"Thanks. Now you try but it's alright if you can't get it on the first try." Luz said to them, "Also, be very careful, not everyone is immortal like me and can recover from deadly stunts."

"Okay!" The babies said as they tried to barrel roll too.

Luz thought it was adorable.

'I can't wait to have kids when I'm older!' She thought, watching the small bats do barrel rolls around her.

They bats and Luz flew around for a good hour. Luz had taught them plenty of flying tricks. She flew back to the Owl House and watched the babies begin to sleep the second they touched the ground.

"Aw." Luz said, "So cute. Come on little ones, let's get you inside for nap time."

Luz picked them up and carried them inside.

"I'm back, and I have to head out so you have fun with this." Luz said, putting the sleeping babies on the couch, "Just need to grab a certain reptile from my room."

Luz headed up the stairs and went into her room.

"Titan, mama needs you." Luz said, "There's a chance you can eat someone."

Titan came out from his spot and wrapped around Luz like he usually does, resting his head on her shoulder. Luz gave him a small scratch and smiled.

"Come on, let's go." Luz said.

Luz headed back downstairs and headed out the door. When she was gone, Eda and King came out of the kitchen and looked at the baby bats sleeping.

"You know, when they aren't making my ears bleed... they're kind of cute." Eda said.

Eda didn't know why she said that, but she didn't feel as disgusted as she thought she would.

'It's probably just the tiredness from taking care of these... adorable... little... babies.' Eda thought, mentally yawning as well.

Eda needed to sleep, but the bats were taking up the couch. Eda didn't have the energy to go upstairs, so she just picked up the babies and held them in her arms while she slept on the couch. King climbed up and curled up next to Eda. Eda smiled as she slept... not that she would ever admit it.
