Coven Fairy
"So, you excited for your first Grudgby season at Hexside?" Luz asked, walking with Kali, Amity, and Gus to their lockers.
"I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous." Kali smirked. "But hey, Grudgby seems like a good way to stay in shape. An' I love me a good workout."
"Hey, you gotta come check Willow out, she's killing it." Skara said, coming out of nowhere.
The group just looked at one another before shrugging and following Skara to wherever Willow was. But their lead was stopped by the arrival of someone, they all equally didn't like.
"Hello Hexside, your star has arrived." Boscha declared, coming in through the doors of the school. "Groveling line starts here." There was nothing but silence. "Something's not right. Nobody's here."
"Probably because they've moved on from being annoyed and controlled by you." Kali said, as they continued making their way to Willow.
"What?" Boscha questioned, following them.
Ignoring Boscha, Kali, Luz, Gus, and Skara made their way to where Willow was, and found her holding a potted plant with a group of students in front of her.
"Do me next, do me next." A student with one eye above the other said.
Willow drew a circle with her magic, and the plant shook, before it grew an eggplant, shaped exactly like the students head.
"Welcome to the world little buddy." The student smiled, taking the plant in arm.
"That's so cool Willow." Kali said.
"Thanks." Willow smiled.
"You're the best Willow." The student with the new plant buddy said.
"Yeah, you're the coolest."
"Aw shucks." Willow smiled bashfully.
"Wow, half a witch Willow, has to make friends out of plants just to have a social life, how sad." Boscha mocked, walking passed them confidently.
"Oh please Boscha." Kali sighed. "You know, Amity stopped being such a bully and actually grew up, when are you gonna do the same?" She stated, making the others laugh at her words. "Or is it your life goal to remain a spoiled pompous brat forever?"
"What was that?" Boscha questioned, turning around to look at Kali. "I know, I did not just hear the team newbie mouth off to her Captain."
"So what if I did?" Kali asked. "You might be team captain, but that doesn't mean you have the authority to kick anyone off the team, without good cause."
"I'm pretty sure mouthing off to me is good cause."
"I'm pretty sure that's abuse of power." Kali stated. "Yet another example as to how you haven't grown up, in the slightest. Or did the black eye and missing tooth I give you at Grom knock some screws loose?"
"Why you…"
"You walk around all high and mighty, but you're nothing but a sad, pathetic excuse of a witch who doesn't even realize the rest of her team, has stopped following her lead, and has started following someone else." Kali stated as the rest of the Grudgby team came up and stood behind her.
Boscha was seeing red at this point, before she pulled his fist back to throw a punch at Kali. Her attack was stopped by a hook that came up from behind her, and she gasped before turning back to see one of the Hexside Guards, and Principal Bump.
"Trouble." The guard said.
"This will not do." Bump stated.
"But Principal Bump I can…"
"Make some lame excuse for what I just witnessed?" Bump questioned. "Take her to the newly rebuilt detention pit."
"Hold on, before you do that." Kali said, stopping the Hexside Guard from taking Boscha away. "Skara's got something to say to her."
"Boscha." Skara said, holding up a piece of paper to read off of. "After meeting as a team, and coming to a unanimous decision amongst those gathered, it has been voted that you're kicked off the Grudgby Team, and are to be replaced with another Captain effective immediately."
"What?" Boscha questioned, as Bump used his magic to remove the Grudgby bombers jacket from her. "But who's gonna replace me? I'm the best there has ever been. I'm a super star. Who in all the isles has the grit to take my place?"
"Kali." The entire Grudgby team, minus Kali herself, said.
"What?" Kali questioned, before Bump used his magic to put the Captains Bomber jacket on her. "But I…"
"You can take her away now." Bump stated.
"No, this can't be happening. I'm the Grudgby Captain, not some wannabe dick sucker." Boscha cried as the Hexside Guard dragged her away.
"That was not something I saw coming." Kali said, looking and sounding shocked.
"Why? I saw it coming from a mile away." Luz smiled.
"But I just joined the team, how can I already be captain?" Kali asked.
"You'll figure something out. I mean, I did when I was named Captain." Amity smiled. "An' hey, since you're Captain, I'd be up for joining the team again, and following your lead."
"But I'm still not that good at playing. I need to practice a few rounds before I can actually participate in a real game." Kali said.
"We can help you learn don't worry." Amity smiled.
"How about this instead? Until I'm actually qualified to be the Captain, Skara's Captain? Anyone approve say aye." Kali said. "Aye."
She was the only one.
"Who votes Kali remain Captain?" Willow asked.
"AYE." All students present said.
"Guess I'm outvoted a million to one." Kali sighed, slumping forward, with a cloud of depression looming over her.
"C'mon, don't over exaggerate like that." Luz said patting her back. "We can get you into Captain Shape before your first official game."
"The Grudgby Team can help you get started." Amity smiled. "That is if you'll have me back."
"I'm okay with it." Kali said. "But to make things fair, I think I should call on a couple friends who might find the game fun."
~Grudgby Field~
"So, remind again why we're here?" Grey asked, standing next to Natsu in the Grudgby field, with Erza, Lucy, and Levy sitting in the stands with Happy.
"We're here to learn how to play a game called Grudgby." Kali said. "Basically from what I understand, the rules are basically nonsense, and there are traps that'll try to kill you."
"So what's there to learn?" Natsu asked.
"What not to do." Amity said, showing she was dressed in her old Grudgby gear. "Let me explain how the game works. Grudgby is played between two teams of at least three players. The object is to score points by getting the ball through the opposing team's goal. Since magic is part of the game play, all manner of magical obstacles may be used to hinder teams from scoring, and participants are allowed to cast spells to aid their games, though this is not a mandated requirement. The team that scores the most points within the time limit, usually within 60-105minutes of the game, wins. However, should one of the teams catch the Rusty Smidge, they score an immediate victory and end the game."
"So the game lasts for up to one hour, and forty-five minutes, and basically anything goes?" Grey asked.
"What's the point of the game if you catch the Rusty Smidge though?" Natsu inquired.
"Generally the RS isn't caught during the game, because it's so small. It takes real, pro level talent to even spot the RS in the middle of the game, let alone catch it without alerting the other team to its location as well." Skara explained.
"Is it a tiny golden bug shaped like a beetle with a gemstone?" Kali asked.
"Yeah, why?" Amity asked.
"I'm pretty sure Sapphire just ate it." Kali said, looking to her Palisman as she ate the bug.
"Is Sapphire a bit bigger then normal?" Grey asked.
"She hasn't given birth to her babies yet, so she's using Formation Omega to be able move around freely and unhindered." Kali explained. "Which also means she doesn't have to take it as easy as she should. But she should be in the stands with the others, to avoid injury from a stray ball or spell, while we practice."
("I'm going, I'm going.") Sapphire huffed, turning away to the stands.
"If she ate it, then it's no problem." Amity chuckled. "The RS are living creatures, so there's a practical live stock of them in the Greenroom Classroom."
"Oh, that's what the RS closet is." Kali said. "Good to know."
"Alright, you ready to get this started?" Natsu smirked.
"Hold it." Skara said. "Sorry Kali, but… I think you and your friends might be a bit too intense for us to play with. Even if it is just practice."
"What?" Natsu questioned. "C'mon, we're safe to compete against."
"No Natsu, she's right." Kali sighed. "While this would be fine against an opposing team like Glandys Academy, we need others for practicing with."
"Who are we gonna find to actually compete against for our first game?" Grey asked.
~Later~
"You're wide open Natsu." Elfman shouted, throwing the Grudgby Ball to the pyro. "Beast Arm Cannon!"
Natsu smirked before he held his hands together in front of his stomach, and caught the ball. The force of Elfman's throw pushed Natsu back, before he corrected himself, and stood tall.
"Nice try Elfman, but you're not gonna knock me out of the field that easily." Natsu smirked spinning the ball on his middle finger.
"Oh, it is on." Elfman chuckled.
Kali had to idea of bringing the training match to Earthland, and practicing in a clearing in Kali's Palistrom Wood forest. Luz, Gus, Willow, Amity, and Skara tagged along to watch their fellow guild mates play Grudgby, while Amity and Skara were making sure they played it properly, for a game which the rules are practically nonexistent, and making sure no one got seriously hurt while playing.
In place of the Grudgby team, Kali got Elfman, Erza, and Levy to play against her, Natsu, and Grey. They didn't have an actual Grudgby court, so Kali improvised and made one with some of the logs that remained from building her shop. An' since Earthland didn't have any actual Grudgby balls, they made due with a basket ball Kali enchanted with magic, to make durable enough to be able to handle the stress and power of the game.
"I'm not gonna lose this game." Erza smirked, running at them.
Natsu just smiled, as he got in the defensive position, before maneuvering around Erza, and throwing the ball to Kali. Leaping into the air, Kali grabbed the ball, before jumping over Levy, and using her back like it was a springboard, throwing the ball into the upside down triangle shaped goal post.
"An' that's match." Amity called out, as she came onto the field. "Team Dragon wins against Team Script, with a lead of 25-10."
"This is such an awesome game." Elfman cheered.
"I agree, it can make for such an intense cardio workout." Erza smiled.
"I know I had fun." Levy smiled. "I'm not usually the sporty type since I'm more into books, but I'll admit, this has my interest piqued."
Both Levy and Erza were dressed in a set of workout clothes, consisting of form fitting sweat shorts, and sports bras, while Elfman wore a pair of basket ball shorts, and a muscle shirt. Grey and Natsu took to following their lead, and wore similar clothes as Elfman, while Kali wore mini shorts, sneakers, and a sports bra, while all six of them wore pads on their knees, elbows, wrists, and shins. Amity, and Skara both insisted they change into these more flexible and free moving clothes, to avoid any injuries. Of course Elfman was forced to spit out the lollipop that he'd been eating, since it was a choking hazard, which kinda annoyed him a bit.
"You know, we've got some extra free space behind the Guildhall, I think it would be perfect for a Grudgby court." Levy said. "It's plenty big enough, so long as no one minds the cliffside view."
"I'd be down for that. This is such a manly sport." Elfman smirked, flexing his arms.
"Think we could ask the Master if we promise to build the court ourselves?" Luz asked.
"I'm not sure we'll be able to do that." Amity said. "You saw all the preparations the town's going through right now. They're getting ready for the Harvest Festival coming up. Even Fairy Tail's swamped with preparations."
~Guildhall~
"I think that's a wonderful idea. Of course you can set up a Grudgby field in the back." Makarov smiled.
"Or maybe he'll just say yes."
"A sport from the Boiling Isles, making its way to Fiore, is a brilliant first step into starting friendly relations." Mira said, joining in the conversation. "You'll have to teach some of us how to play it."
"So you'll let us set up the court if we build it ourselves?" Luz asked.
"Of course. I don't see what the harm would be in it." Makarov said. "I mean Kali's already finished her prep work for the Harvest Festival."
"I can handle most of the heavy lifting for building the court." Kali said. "Though I won't be able to set up most of the traps the Grudgby field back at Hexside has, but I'm sure I can do something appropriate for the sport."
"Sounds great." Skara smiled.
"So, what should we get to working on first?" Gus asked.
"I have a pretty good idea on where to start." Kali smiled.
(Cue Music Montage… Life is a highway: Tom Cochrane)
Kali got started working on the Grudgby field almost immediately.
The first thing she did was clear off the construction area, which meant temporarily closing the pool, to which she apologized to the rest of the Guild for that happening. But the guild was understanding of the fact that it needed to be done for their own safety, and to avoid getting in her way, or messing something up with the construction.
The first thing Kali did was flatten out the terrain for the Grudgby arena, using her crystal golems to push the rollers back and forth until she got a truly level field. After the terrain had been flattened completely, Kali used her construction magic to dig out a canal in the ground, the shape of a hexagon while maintaining the size of a Grudgby field.
With the space dug out, Kali then used her magic to set in the rebar, which stuck high out of the ground, before she poured concrete into the canal. With the base set, Kali used her magic to set traps that would trigger during games, but instantly repair the field after the round of the game had ended.
With the help of her friends from Hexside, Kali set up the barrier mold for the rest of the concrete. The drying didn't take long, as Kali had used her construction magic to cause the concrete to dry almost instantly.
As Kali drilled in the bases for the goal posts, she had Gajeel use his magic to make the goal posts themselves, saying he still owed her one. Gajeel helped, but said he was only helping because his little sis had asked him to give her a hand with building the field.
It took a minute, but with Natsu and Greys help, Kali, Luz, Amity, and Skara were able to hoist the goal posts up and onto their bases, before Kali put a pin through the bottoms of the bases, keeping the goal posts in place. Once those were put in place, Kali began painting the lines and borders for the courts zones.
With a little help from Reedus, Kali was able to put an artistic spin on the newly built Grudgby field, and even put the Fairy Tail emblem in the center of it.
Getting struck with a spark of inspiration, Kali opened a gate, to her workshop in the Boiling Isles, and pulled Araña, and several large spools of different colored fabrics through it. Explaining her idea to Araña, Kali got to work on drawing out the fabric patterns, while Araña took the measurements of many of the guild members who might wanna join in on the fun of Grudgby. This even included the measurements of Luz, Amity, and Skara. The fact that she needed their measurements confused them, but Luz had an idea as to what Kali was up to when Araña took hers.
After everything was all set, Kali began to work on putting the patterns together, while keeping this project hidden from everyone there as she'd set up a tent to work in with her thread making Palisman. By the time Kali was done with her secret project, the sun was already starting to set, but she was proud of the work she'd done. It wasn't her best work, but it wasn't shoddy work either.
(End Montage…)
"Tada, what do you think?" Kali smiled, as her friends were in awe of the clothes they now wore.
The clothes the boys wore, consisted of loose fitting basket ball shirts and shorts, with a black base in the fabric, and a dark scarlet red as the secondary fabric. They had pads on their elbows and knees, with guards on their shins, wrists, and shoulders, as well as protective head gear one might find on a kickboxing trainee.
The women's uniforms consisted of similar clothes, but their tops were sports bras that covered their backs, and had to be slipped on like shirts, while the shorts were form fitting up until the base of the sleeves of the legs around their mid thighs. Like the men, they had the same color scheme, and protective gear.
The one thing both sets of uniforms had in common however, was the Fairy Tail emblem and the Titans Skull were on the back, on the shoulder blades.
"These are awesome Kali." Grey said. "You put these together in one day?"
"Yep, from here on we're known as Team Titan. I had Araña's help with making the uniforms. The fabrics were easy to use, they're made from Palistrom Wood Silk, so we simply put them together." Kali smiled. "The gear was tougher to make, but after realizing I could use magic in making the uniforms, I tossed all the measurements, and made the uniforms capable of adjusting to the sizes of those holding them before putting them on."
"This is so cool." Luz smiled, twirling around. "Let's play some Grudgby."
"Not in the middle of the night." Levy said.
"She's right. It's dangerous in the middle of the night, especially since the paint still needs to dry while the inside of the concrete slabs settle and dry." Kali explained.
"Then let's play a game in the morning." Amity said.
"Great idea." Skara smiled. "But… won't we get creamed by the others?"
"Not to worry, I took that into account." Kali said. "I infused the uniforms so they can protect you from any sort of magical attacks that could seriously harm you. Physical injuries however, are still a possibility. Didn't wanna make Earthland Grudgby OP as hell."
"Good thinking. You still get the rush and thrill of the game." Luz smiled.
~The Following Morning~
"Alright, I'm ready to play me some Grudgby." Luz smiled, as she came through the freshly opened portal with Amity, Skara, Kali, and the still pregnant Sapphire, all of them in their Grudgby uniforms Kali had made.
"Morning everyone." Kali smiled, before noticing their downtrodden looks.
"Morning Kali." Juvia said, while Gajeel tsked in annoyance.
"Morning sweetie." Mira said, greeting her.
"What's with the long faces?" Kali asked.
"Take a look outside and you'll see for yourself." Elfman sighed.
Kali just shrugged her shoulders, before she lead the others outside. When she got to where the Grudgby court was supposed to be however, her eyes widened and she gasped, when she saw that the court itself had been destroyed.
"Unfortunately, some one in the guild didn't share your enthusiasm for bringing Grudgby to Earthland." Makarov sighed, joining them.
"There are slight nodes of script magic on some of the ruble." Kali growled. "It wasn't Levy, so it only had to be one other person in the Guild."
"Oh dear, did somebody destroy your precious playground?"
Kali turned her head to the left, and glared at who had spoken up.
Standing there, was a woman in green, with her chestnut hair tied up, and glasses over her eyes, with a fan in her hand, and a pair of fake fairy wings on her back. Behind her to her left, was a man with green hair covering one of his eyes, wearing a magenta red suit, with a sword at his hip. To the left behind her, was a man in blue striped clothes, wearing a helmet that covered his eyes, and had several dolls floating around him.
"The Thunder Legion?" Elfman questioned.
"I thought you guys were off on another Dark Guild hunt." Grey tsked.
"We got back early." Evergreen smirked. "Only to find such a disgusting, and revolting playground, created by the parasite that killed Laxus's mother."
Kali's hand gripped tighter, as she glared at Evergreen. Out of the three in the Thunder Legion, she took the most pleasure in causing Kali pain.
"So we took the initiative, and destroyed it." Freed said. "You're welcome, Master Makarov."
"Are you insane?" Makarov questioned. "Do you honestly think, Kali had managed to set this up, without my knowing? I was the one who granted her permission to use the ground to build her Grudgby Field."
"It's fine Grandpa." Kali said, drawing a circling in the air, and using construction magic to rebuild it.
But the moment it was back in one piece, it fell apart again.
"I enchanted the ruble to break apart if you ever attempted to rebuild it." Freed stated. "We can't have this thing cluttering up our precious guild now can we?"
"Remove that enchantment at once Freed." Makarov stated. "Or so help me I'll exile you from the guild."
"I only take orders from Laxus." Freed scoffed.
"How about a wager then?" Kali asked.
"A wager?" Bickslow inquired. "What are we talking about?"
"The game's simple." Kali stated. "The three of you, against three of us, in a game of Grudgby. If you win, I'll get rid of the Grudgby field for good. But if you lose, you never touch my Grudgby field again, unless you're wanting to play a match with others from the guild. We'll play till whichever team gets 15 points, I'll even let you pick my teammates for me, to make it fair for you."
"Us, the Thunder Legion, the strongest team in Fairy Tail, against you and your weakling friends, and you think we will have a hard time against you if you picked your teammates?" Evergreen questioned mockingly. "This'll be a piece of cake."
"So which two do you choose to be on my team?" Kali asked.
"Let's see…" Evergreen pondered.
"Babies." Bickslow said, sending his dolls flying around them.
"This one." One of the dolls said, hovering over Luz's head.
"This one." Another doll said, hovering over Amity's head.
"Looks like the dolls chose your teammates." Evergreen smirked.
As the Thunder Legion prepared to play, Makarov looked at Bickslow, with a questioning look of wonder.
"This is great Amity, we're working together to prove Kali's not some parasite, to her stupid older brothers loser team." Luz smirked.
"Me, on a team, with you? Running around in cute uniforms, sweating?" Amity questioned, before her face turned read. "I gotta go to the bathroom real quick." She stated before running into the Guildhall.
"Does she even realize they've been in the same uniforms and on the same team since yesterday?" Skara asked.
"Don't question it. It's just natural at this point." Kali sighed, finding Amity's shyness adorable.
'Did he know about Luz and Amity's potential, and choose them to give Kali a hand, or was it just a coincidence?' Makarov pondered, as Amity came back, having calmed down.
"Alright, let me give you a rundown of the rules." Kali said, as Freed removed the enchantment, and Kali restored the field. "Basically, anything goes aside from killing the other team. An' if you're caught cheating, then your team's automatically disqualified."
"How exactly would one cheat, when the only rule is not to kill?" Freed asked.
"Outside help. If you have someone not participating in the game, try to trip up the other team, then that would be cheating." Kali explained. "You're free to use your magic however you like, so long as it's nothing lethal."
"Sounds simple enough." Freed said.
"Would you like some Grudgby gear?" Amity asked.
"Gear made by that parasite? No thanks, I'd rather bathe in a pig sty." Evergreen scoffed.
"Your loss." Luz said.
"Let's just confirm the deal before the game begins." Mira said, stepping onto the field. "I'll be acting as referee. Now if the Thunder Legion wins, then Kali will destroy the Grudgby Field for good. But should Team Titan win the Thunder Legion, will leave the Grudgby Field alone, and in tact. That includes their leader."
"We'll be sure to let Laxus know, if Team Titan some how happens to beat us." Freed stated. "But this should be an effortless win, for the Thunder Legion."
"Then if that's settled, let the game begin." Mira said, throwing the Grudgby ball into the air.
Leaping from the ground, Kali caught the Grudgby ball, before Bickslow could grab it with one of his dolls, and using it as a stepping stool, the Dreyar girl jumped higher into the air as she flipped forward. Igniting the ball in flames, Kali threw it at the goal, resulting in the ball soaring through the upside down triangle, and the alarms on the top of the goals sounding off, which alerted the rest of the guild inside that something was happening, bringing them all out, while the Grudgby ball bounced off the magic barrier set up for each match, and returned to Kali's hands.
The Thunder Legion looked in shock that Kali managed to score the first point so easily from the halfway point of the field, before looking back to her, and saw the flaming ball spinning on her finger as she glared at them, before she threw it in her arm, and rested it on her hip.
"What's wrong?" She smirked confidently. "I thought you said this would be an easy win for you?"
"We may have underestimated them when it comes to this game." Bickslow said, suddenly feeling nervous about their chances at winning.
"Three points go to Team Titan for scoring from the center field." Mira called out, blowing the whistle. "Let's continue with the game."
(Cue Music… Get off of my back: Bryan Adams)
The instant Mira blew the whistle a second time, Kali, Luz, and Amity all split up. Luz and Amity were flanking Bickslow and Freed, while Kali went straight for Evergreen. With the ball still in her arms, Kali moved her way through her opponent, before jumping back as to avoid a trap she triggered.
Flipping through the air, Kali threw the ball to Amity, who caught it with a smirk, before jumping up, and stepping on Freeds head like a stepping stool, and threw the ball to Luz. Catching the Grudgby ball, Luz slid along the ground, going under and through Bickslows legs, before she jumped up and used an Ice Glyph to send herself flying for the goal, and while grabbing the rim, slammed the Grudgby ball through it, before flipping up and over the goal post like a gymnast on a bar.
"Nice going Luz." Amity said, drawing a circle of magic.
"Haha, we're two for two on getting the goal." Luz smiled as Amity caught her with an Abomination.
"Don't celebrate just yet." Kali said. "We've only got four points, so there's a chance the Thunder Legion could come up from behind with a win."
"Right." Luz said, as she rejoined her team on their side of the field.
"It's the Thunder Legions ball now." Mira called out, tossing the ball to Evergreen.
"Now that we have the ball, this is gonna be all too easy." Evergreen smirked, as she began to run. Unfortunately, her shoes weren't meant for running, and her heel snapped in a crack caused by the trap Kali set off. This caused her to fall to the ground, while accidentally throwing the ball into Amity's hands.
"Thanks for the ball." Amity smiled, running along through the field, before setting the ball on fire. "Luz."
Amity threw the ball to Luz, who used an ice glyph to redirect the ball towards the goal, and sent it straight through it.
"Yes, we are on fire today." Luz smiled, catching the ball as it bounced back, before noticing the burning glyph that was on it. "Ooh, a fire Glyph." She said, before slapping a piece of paper onto it, and setting the ball on fire again.
Throwing the ball, Luz smiled as Evergreen was forced to duck down. But as the ball was flying through the air, two of Bickslows dolls came out of nowhere and blocked the throw, before deflecting it back at Luz.
The humans eyes widened, before she felt a familiar power rush through her, and taking on a stance, Luz thrust an open palm out, before spinning on the ball of her foot, in a full circle. The miraculous part was, the flaming ball followed her, as if Luz controlled the flames themselves, and sent it back at the opposing team, with double the force.
The game continued on, with Kali, Luz, and Amity taking the lead. But all too soon, the Thunder Legion began picking up on how the game worked, and quickly caught up to the Titans, before their score was matched thirteen to thirteen.
(End Song…)
"Alright, it was surprising how fast they caught on to how Grudgby works, but we can win this." Kali said, grouped up with her teammates. "Anyone got any ideas for a final play to win the game?"
"Well… we could do something from the Good Witch Azura: Field of Deadly Fates."
"You mean the Thorn Vault?" Amity asked. "Do you have the glyph for plant magic? Because mine isn't so good, and we can't ask Willow to cheat for us."
"I have the glyph." Luz said. "I'll activate the Glyph while sending Amity up in the air, from center field, that'll put us over the top with the points needed for winning."
"Alright, then let's do this." Kali smirked. "An' Break."
Taking their positions, Mira looked to both teams, before throwing the ball up in the air. The instant it was in the air, Kali and Bickslow were leaping for it, with Kali being the one to take it first, and knocked it over to Amity.
"NOW!" She called to Luz.
Running to the back, and behind Amity, Luz slammed the plant glyph on the ground, and created a massive pillar of vines that sent Amity flying through the air.
Evergreen tried flying up to intercept, but was stopped when one of Bickslows dolls slammed into her.
"Bickslow." Evergreen hissed.
"Hey don't blame me. You're the one that got in my baby's way." Bickslow stated.
With the path clear, Amity lit the ball on fire, before throwing it through the goal post, and shattered the barrier around it. Unfortunately, the flaming ball was on a direct collision course for Sapphire, who was napping in the shade under a tree.
Eyes widening, Amity used her Abomination Magic to send her flying to the sleeping expecting Palisman, passing the ball by, before she stopped in front of Sapphire, waking her up and took the hit directly. Sapphire had managed to get out of the way, before Amity was slammed into the tree behind her, hitting her leg hard against it.
"Amity." Luz called out, as she and Kali ran towards her.
"Amity are you okay?" Kali asked, as they got to her side, with Sapphire nudging her with a worried expression on her face.
"I'll be fine." Amity said sitting up, before she hissed in pain. "Or not. I think my leg is broken."
"I'll open up a portal to the Healing Coven." Kali said.
"So, did we win?" Amity asked.
"Yeah we won." Luz smiled. "You did great. I could help carry you if your leg really hurts."
"I'm fine! who's Amity?" She questioned, acting stupid as she blushed.
"Oh my, she started getting all flustered when Luz offered to carry her." Mira giggled.
"An' scoop." Luz said, picking Amity up in her arms.
"Oh wow… sports." Amity said, all embarrassed as Luz carried her to the portal.
The others from the Boiling Isles began following Luz through the portal, with the only one remaining behind, being Kali as she stopped and turned to look at the defeated Thunder Legion, with a smirk.
"Oh, and one last thing I forgot to mention before we started the game." Kali said. "Usually, there's this thing called the Rusty Smidge that allows you to instantly win the game, but I figured it'd be better, if Earthland Grudgby didn't have that. Leaves the game to run longer, and the members to have more fun while playing, while not invalidating all the hard work the players put into the game."
As Kali left through the portal, those in the guild were excited to start playing the game themselves, while unaware of the blonde angry man, standing on the balcony circling the entire roof of the Guildhall.
"Those three, lousy good for nothings." Laxus growled, his teeth grit in anger as his grip cracked and splintered the railing. "I will make sure they are punished for this."
~Owl House~
"Oh you are so adorable." Kali cooed, holding up her PCL as she recorded King dancing in a cheerleaders outfit. "Did he seriously wear this during your match against Lilith?" She asked, looking to Eda.
"He did." Eda snickered. "I managed to convince him it was, Intimidation Armour."
"You're not… you're not gonna show this to anyone are you?" King questioned, sounding nervous as both Luz and Kali were recording him dance.
