Coven Fairy

Kali stood in front of her full length mirror, examining herself from the side, seeing how big she's gotten.

"Mmm, your growth has slowed down a bit, but it's still very noticeable." Kali said gently rubbing her belly. "It looks like you've both reached the end of the first trimester. Thank Titan I sent Gajeel back to Earthland, otherwise he'd be having a fit right now if he saw me."

Not wanting to be caught with her protruding belly, she put on one of her magic enhanced belly compressors, flattening out her belly, before throwing on a pair of jeans, a muscle shirt, and a cropped jean jacket.

"Now time to see what the others are up to." Kali said, before her stomach growled. "While grabbing some grub."

Heading out of her room, and down the stairs, Kali found Luz sitting in the middle of several piles of books, trying to draw something, before King jumped at her.

"Luz! I need your help." King said. "I think Francois is trying to start a rebellion." He stated, pointing to his pile of plushies, before a serrated knife slipped out from behind the bunny.

"Nope, I'll be taking that." Kali said, taking the knife. "You know better then to play with knives King."

"Awe come on." King groaned.

"She's right King, it's dangerous. Besides, I'm getting so close to figuring out this Glyph combo." Luz said.

"You've been working on this for a while. You sure you don't need a break?" Kali asked. "I don't want you going nuts like Lilith has." The teen said, pointing to where Lilith was, drawing a Glyph.

"Watching the ink dry is the best part." Lilith said.

"See what I mean?" Kali asked.

"A fresh cup of tea, for my favorite cup of tea." Hooty said, bringing Lilith something to drink. "That's you Lulu." His words seemed to have pulled Lilith back to sanity as she straightened out her hair, and took a deep breath.

"Well, Hootsifer you truly are a gem." Lilith said patting his head. "How do you always know what to do?"

"What's going on?" King asked. "Is Hooty blackmailing her?"

"King, it's not that strange to see Hooty making a new friend. I'm friends with Hooty." Kali said, before Hooty came up to her, holding a bag in his beak.

"An' a bag of chips for the young lady." Hooty smiled.

"Thanks Hooty." Kali smiled patting his head. "I'm starving."

"I actually find it pretty nice." Luz said, closing the book she had.

"You done Luz?" Kali asked, munching on some chips.

"Yep. This will work for sure." Luz said, getting to her feet. "Now you see me…"

Luz stopped talking as she held her breath, slapping the Glyph to her chest, and vanishing like she'd just put on an invisible cloak.

"Whoa." Kali said in shock, before suddenly reappearing.

"Now you don't." Luz said, before realizing she was visible again. "Oh, I guess it only lasts for as long as I hold my breath."

"Still that's incredible." Luz said.

"Don't ever do that again." King cried, hugging Luz's leg.

"Do that again. How ever did you accomplish that?" Lilith asked.

"Well, since you guys discovered that we can make new spells by combining Glyphs, I've been experimenting." Luz said. "I got the invisibility idea from your history books Lilith."

"So long as you know what kind of Glyphs are required for what spell, you should be able to perform the spell with the Glyphs on your shroud." Kali said. "All you gotta do is think about which Glyphs you need."

"This is truly fascinating." Lilith said. "As the lead Historical Scholar of the Emperors Coven, my aid could be very helping in…"

Lilith stopped talking, when she tripped over several of Kings plushies, knocking the tower over.

"An ambush. Men, defend your ruler." King said, throwing a plushy at Lilith, only for Hooty to block it.

"I'm don for Lulu." Hooty said, falling into Liliths arms.

"Hootsifer, this is make believe." Lilith said.

"So?" Kali asked. "King's only a kid, eight years old. He's gonna play make believe."

"I was just playing along." Hooty said, getting back up.

"The King of Demons yields to no one." King said, throwing another plushy at Lilith.

"Historically, Demons have never been united under a single ruler until Belos." Lilith stated. "There's no such thing, as a King of Demons." She finished, before another plushy hit her in the head.

"Blasphemy." King stated. "Clearly you know nothing of my reign of terror. Allow me to tell you. I was once the mighty King of Demons, I was beloved almost as much as I was feared. But one day, an evil spell was cast, transforming me into this."

"Oh, what happened to your crown of power?" Hooty asked.

"A trifle. That was just to test Eda, Luz, and Kali's dedication to me. They passed." King stated. "My real crown is still out there. But when I shrank, my memories got all, fuzzy."

"How convenient, a hole in your memory for each hole in your story." Lilith said.

"Nice one Lulu, up top." Hooty said, before Lilith smacked him in the face, as if giving him a high five.

"Hey, I remember plenty. I remember armies bowing before me, being served the greatest of feasts, and falling from a massive height, as that evil hex shrank me. One day, I'll return to my rightful place, and all shall fear me."

"Aw, you're gonna be such a good tyrant." Luz said, cuddling over him. "Who's the scariest Demon King, who is it?"

"Me! It's me!" King cheered.

"Your dedication to this farce would be charming if it weren't so sad." Lilith said.

"Lilith, Hooty, he's a kid." Kali said. "Just play along with the game."

"You both think this is just some sort of game, I'm not a liar, and I'll prove you wrong." King said, running for the hall.

"Listen Lilith, King's memories might hold some truth." Kali said, closing up the bag of chips and putting it in her hair. "The fall he remembers might explain his broken horn, but you gotta admit this is cute of him."

"Look, it might have been brash of me to be so serious with a child, but he has to grow up at some point." Lilith said.

"An' he will. But what he's remembering, those weren't his stories. I'm positive he saw them somewhere when he was too young to remember, and his mind adapted them to be him." Kali said. "An' I'm pretty sure he's gonna take us to the source of those memories."

"Kali, do you wanna ride with Lilith, or Luz and I?" King asked, coming into the living room with Owlbert and Raven in their staff forms.

"I've got my own flight." Kali smiled, before whistling as if calling for a horse.

Almost instantly, a magic staff came flying through the air, landing in Kali's hand with the creature on the front, being a spider.

"Araña." Luz smiled. "I forgot you had more then one Palisman."

"Palismen I carve myself." Kali smiled. "Though, Araña's my only other Palisman."

"Where do you get your supply of Palistrom wood from?" Lilith asked.

"I have an entire forest of Palistrom trees in Earthland on my private property." Kali said, leaving a note for Eda. "C'mon, let's get going. Lead the way King. Where are we even going?"

"We're going to my Castle." King said.

"My historical expertise is being questioned, and I will not stand for it. Hooty, would you like to accompany us?" Lilith asked.

"I'll get ready." Hooty said, gasping loudly.

Lilith, King, Luz, and Kali watched as Hooty prepared himself for the trip. It was honestly a sight that made Kali feel sick to her stomach. Once Hooty had finished, they could see pulsing organs in the door he'd been in, before looking down to see he was in a tiny house.

"Porta-Hooty, reporting for Hooty!" The owl tube said happily.

The four watching, were having their own reactions, while Kali actually ran for a toilet.

"I'm gonna be sick." She said, Araña taking on her Arachne form and jumping onto Luz's shoulder.

~Eda~

Eda hummed happily, as she stepped out of the shower, finding it surprisingly peaceful at the moment, missing how Lilith, Kali, and Luz flew past her window.

"Where did everybody go?" The Owl Lady questioned, looking around the house, before she shrugged and laid out on the couch, detaching her lower legs from her knees. "Oh well, might take this opportunity to relax. It's not everyday I get to stretch my legs like this anymore."

Stretching out, Eda smiled as she relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. But that peace soon ended, when she opened her eyes, and spotted Kali's note on Kings stack of plushies.

"King's taking us to his castle from his memories, Luz is borrowing Owlbert for the trip. Be back later tonight. ~Kali"

"Oh no, not again." Eda said in panic, getting up from the couch, forgetting she removed her legs and landed face first on the ground.

After getting herself dressed, Eda managed to reattach her right leg, before running into her shed. After a quick scuffle with some of the junk in there, Eda burst out, in her propeller bathtub, and began pedaling like someones life depended on it, several someones.

~Kali~

The wind was whistling as King sat in front of Kali on Araña's staff, his gaze never leaving the horizon.

"Are we still flying, it's been hours." Hooty said.

"It's only noon Hooty." Kali said. "An' we've only been flying since ten."

"Should we call it a day?" Lilith questioned.

"There it is." King said, as they cleared the fog.

Lilith, Luz, Hooty, and Kali gasped when they saw an island, surrounded by a natural stone wall with a tower in the center. Taking them down, Kali lead the way onto the island, not all too shocked that Lilith, Luz, and Hooty were stunned speechless.

"This island shouldn't be here, it's not on any of the maps." Lilith said.

"It's always been here when I've looked for it." King said.

"How many times have you traveled here without Eda's permission?" Kali asked.

"How long have you and Luz been at the Owl House?" King asked.

"You are so grounded, when we get back home." Kali said.

Landing, King hopped off Araña's staff, with Lilith, and Luz following their lead shortly after, Araña taking on her Arachne form, and crawling onto Kali's shoulder.

"After I shrunk, I woke up here in Eda's arms, and she carried me away, like a widdle baby." King said.

"That because you were a baby." Kali said.

"Aw." Luz cooed.

"King, it is possible, that your story is about someone else, and that you think its yours because you were too young to recall ever seeing where the story came from." Kali said.

"Fine, I'll prove to you that this is really my story." King said, before leading them further inland on the island.

"This island, it isn't like the Boiling Isles." Lilith said.

"You mean the fact that it's made from natural stones and earth, instead of a rotting Titan corpse?" Kali asked. "This isn't your first time on an island like this you know. The continent of the Kingdom of Fiore is just like this, but a thousand times bigger."

"Same for all the continents in the human realm." Luz added.

"The more you learn." Lilith said. "The tower, is certainly intriguing, but… oh."

Before Lilith could fall all the way, Hooty slammed his face into a tree.

"Thank you Hootsifer." Lilith said.

"My pleasure." Hooty said, in a muffled voice.

"Hooty, are you okay?" Kali asked.

"As I was saying, couldn't we have landed a little closer?" Lilith asked, straightening herself out.

"The tree tops are so thick, this is the only way in." King said, pointing up. "Plus, now I can dramatically do… this!" He stated, pulling back on the long leaves, and revealing a rock filled key hole, taller then the entrance to the Emperor's Castle.

"Ooh, a door fit for a tyrant." Luz said.

"That's me." King smiled, before they went to the door. "I'll find you guys another way in. Wriggle, wriggle, wriggle." He said, wriggling through the rocks.

"What a strange material." Lilith said, examining the door frame. "An' this symbol. I've never seen anything quite like this."

"Ha! I've seen better graffiti, I've got better graffiti on me." Hooty stated.

"It's not graffiti Hooty." Kali said. "It's a symbol, a mark that means something from ancient times."

"Luz look." Lilith called to the human. "This predates any language I know. Kings story may be a fake, but these ruins are a history mystery." She giggled, before the rocks came tumbling down, opening the entrance.

"Eh, what's a mystery?" King questioned, popping out of the rocks.

"The symbol, the castle, all of it." Kali said. "All this predates anything Lilith knows about history."

"Eh, who cares about all that stuff? Come on in." King said, leading them into the tower.

Holding out her hand, Luz gave Kali's words a try, and without swiping her other hand over the Glyph, created light while Lilith was still relying on the paper Glyphs.

"When am I gonna get a Glyph Shroud?" Lilith asked.

"When are you gonna go back in time, and stop yourself from giving Grandma her curse?" Kali asked, creating her own light.

"She's still sore about that?" Lilith sighed.

"Well the curse did kill her mother, and it wouldn't have happened if you hadn't put a curse on Eda." Luz said.

"Fine, I guess you're right." Lilith said.

"Ah, the chamber where I would devour the hearts of my foes." King said, as the lights revealed the large chamber filled with stone towers that were as tall as King. "The taste was cold and bitter, but I bet yours would be sweet Luz."

"Diabetically sweet if we're being honest." Kali said, nudging Luz with her elbow.

"Oh stop it you two." Luz smiled.

Moving deeper into the tower, Luz, and Lilith were looking around in awe, while Kali was looking concerned. Her fears were confirmed when a shadow quickly moved over King, with a head matching a lot of the stone figures. Turning around, Kali only saw Luz and Lilith as they were doing their own thing.

"What's on your mind Kali?" King asked.

"I just find it strange." Kali said.

"What do you mean?"

"Just… who exactly took care of you, before Grandma found you King?" Kali asked.

"I told you, I'm only this size because of a hex that had been placed on me, while my crown was stolen." King said.

"King, I've seen your baby pictures, after Grandma first took you in. You weren't fully grown, before Eda found you." Kali said.

"Kali, come over here." Lilith called out. "Come take a look at this."

Kali and King went over to where Lilith was, before their sights landed on a carving of an adult version of King.

"Pretty intimidating right?" King asked. "I know, I was a stud."

"King, that's not you." Kali said.

"What are you talking about? Of course it's me." King said. "Who else could it be?"

"Your dad maybe?" Kali asked, picking King up into her arms. "Think about it, you stared at this picture, for who knows how long before Grandma found you, and once you were old enough to talk, your mind rewrote it as you, instead of your father."

"She makes a fair argument King." Lilith said. "Up until now I just thought your stories were fake, but I'm starting to think there's some truth to what Kali's saying."

King looked to Lilith, then back to Kali, thinking on what they were saying before looking at Luz.

"What's your take on it Luz? You believe that's me, right?" King asked.

Luz was silent for a moment, before she decided to speak her mind.

"King, I believe that you're a great Demon, but think of the facts." Luz said. "There is an extremely high possibility that they might be right."

"But… but how am I here then?" King asked.

"Most likely, that fall you remember, was from your caretaker, bringing you down here after you were born, or hatched." Kali said. "I honestly don't know how you came into this world, but…"

Kali stopped talking, before her eyes widened when she spotted something behind Luz, and instantly put King in Luz's arms.

"Etherion Dragon: TALON!" Kali shouted, kicking upwards after dashing past Luz, striking the creature that was coming up to attack her.

Pushing King and Luz back, Kali continued the momentum, and struck the fleshy creature with another kick, knocking it back.

"Araña, Formation Knight!" Kali cried out.

The Arachne jumped from Kali's shoulder, before it rebounded off a rock and went back towards her. Turning into pure magical energy, Araña's body broke apart, before reassembling on Kali, covering the Dragonslayer in a full suit of slim fitting plate mail armor, with a spider themed armored face guards covering her cheeks, connected to the circlet on her forehead.

"Araña can use Sapphire's formations?" Luz asked.

"I never carve my Palismen with advantages over one another, this way I ensure they're all equal to each other outside of their species, neither better or worse then the others." Kali said, blocking a strike from the creature that attacked Luz out of nowhere. "The only Formation, Araña doesn't have, is Formation Xero." She stated, jumping in the air, and hitting the creature with a spinning back kick, before she was forced to bring up her arms to form a shield.

Pushing back against the creature, Kali threw both arms to the side, creating an opening on the creatures torso, before she slammed both fists into it, and pierced the body with etherion blades protruding from her hands.

"Did you kill it?" Lilith questioned.

Lilith's question was answered, when the creature slammed both its fists down on the back of Kali's neck, and sent her to the ground. The etherion blades sliced through the creature, cutting through its legs, but the flesh just regenerated, as it stepped closer to Luz, Lilith, Hooty, and King.

"Kali." Luz cried out, before the creature came running at them, one of its claws turning into an axe blade.

Luz pulled King back, shielding him from the creature, but before it could strike, something caught onto its leg and axe blade. Looking over behind the creature, Luz gasped when she saw Kali, crouched on the ground, pulling back on thin rope of what looked like spider webs, that spread out and clung to the creatures limbs, gripped tightly in her hands, and a glare on her face.

"Leave my family, ALONE!" Kali shouted, quickly twisting around and pulling hard on the webbing.

The force of the pull caused the creature to arch through the air, before an explosion from something being thrown at it, sent it to the ground fast and hard. Turning back to the entrance, the travelers saw Eda standing on the rubble in the doorway, with a belt of potions over her shoulder and around her waist.

"Get out of here, I'll hold it back and meet you outside." Eda stated, pulling another potion from the belt.

"Grandma, we can fight it together." Kali said.

"You can't beat this thing. Go!" Eda stated, hitting it with explosive potion after explosive potion.

With their opening clear, Kali groaned in annoyance, before she ran at the others, and grabbed them in her arms, running for the exit.

"It's been a while. Miss me?" Kali heard Eda say, as they left the building.

Kali stopped, and put the four of them down, cracking her back as she stretched out.

"More running, less stopping." Hooty said.

"Edalyn said to wait here." Lilith said.

"We can't let her fight that thing alone. We have to go back." Luz said.

"She'll be fine Luz." Kali said. "She just has to land one good hit, and that'll open an opportunity for her to run out here."

"An' what if that thing follows? What then?" King asked.

"Something tells me Grandma knows something about that creature we don't. It probably has a limited range of free movement. An' the inside of that building is probably it." Kali said, as the sound of explosions went off from inside the building.

After the explosions died down, Eda came out of the tower, holding her arm.

"Edalyn!" Lilith gasped, running up and catching her sister to steady her. "You're hurt. What of that horrible creature?"

Her question was answered when the creature pulled itself onto the rocks, and threw its axe blade forward. But the instant the weapon was past the entrance, it just dangled like a rock on a string.

"It can't get past the entrance, we're safe now." Eda said.

"That thing must be guarding this place from intruders." Luz said.

"Obviously." Kali said.

"But it's my castle, how are we intruders?" King asked, hopping down from Luz's shoulders.

"It wasn't attacking you King." Kali said. "It was attacking us, that thing was most likely your caretaker before Eda found you, and thought we were trying to hurt you."

"Again with this, what do you think I'm lying about my power, about my crown?" King questioned.

"You aren't lying." Eda said, bringing their attention to her. "You just don't know the truth." She stated, sitting on a boulder as Kali used healing magic on the wound. "It's time for me to tell you, how we really met."

"I'm curious about this past myself." Kali said.

"Eight years ago, I was looking for a place to hide, from the Emperors Coven." Eda said. "I never knew this place existed, and it just appeared out of the mist, so I landed. Now I was one hot tamale, but the boiling rains were even hotter. I needed shelter, but when I found it… I wasn't alone."

"That's when you ran into King." Kali said.

"He was nothing more then a baby at the time." Eda sighed, before looking at King. "I assumed you were just some, stray dog. But then, that thing was gonna kill us both or so I thought at the time, so I picked you up, and bounced. But that thing fired an arrow at us, and… well that's how you lost one of your horns. Against my better judgement, I took you home with me."

"Probably not your greatest idea, but certainly far from your worst." Kali said.

"I'd gotten you the collar, 'cause that's what you do when you get a new pet. But then, I found out you were more then just an animal, and you spoke your first word, King." Eda stated. "From there, I told you what kings do."

"An' that's how he got the idea that he was some, despotic overlord." Kali stated. "Your stories about rulers and tyrants, triggered those memories into rewriting themselves."

"Oh, but you were finally happy, so I kept playing along with it." Eda said, looking right at King.

"Y-You're lying." King said.

"I'm not." Eda stated, reaching into her hair, and pulling out the missing piece of his horn.

"Eh?" King was cautious about grabbing it, before he did, gasping as memories flooded his mind.

"King?" Kali asked with concern.

"My army… me feasts… my life…" He said sadly, before throwing his horn away. "No, keep that thing away from me. It's messing with my head."

"King, it's gonna be okay." Luz said.

"Y-you're all just making fun of me, like usual right?" King said. "No. No, no, no, no. no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no."

"King, listen to me." Kali said, pulling him in for a hug. "Listen to my voice, focus on the sound of my voice. You're still you, this doesn't change who you are. We still love you."

"No, no you're lying." King said, pushing Kali away and running through the thicket of the jungle and to the shores sobbing.

"King!" Luz cried out.

There was a moment of silence, as Araña returned to her Palisman form, and crawled onto Kali's shoulder, giving off a saddened whimper.

"Wait here everyone, I'll go talk to him." Kali said with a sigh.

"Do you even know where he ran off to?" Luz asked.

"I have his scent. I can find him." Kali stated, entering the forest. "Besides, he sees me as a mother to him after all, so I should do this."

Following Kings scent, Kali was unsure about what she was actually gonna say to him, but knew she had to say something. Reaching the shoreline, Kali spotted King, sitting on a log slumped over in sadness.

"Can I sit?" Kali asked, stepping up next to the log.

"Go ahead." King said.

Kali sat down on the log, sitting next to King as the little guy let out a heavy sigh.

"Eda was right, wasn't she?" King asked. "I was never King of anything."

"Oh sweetie, that's not true." Kali said. "You were always King of the Owl House."

"That's not what I meant." King stated. "I'm nobody. A worthless nobody."

"You are somebody King." Kali stated, pulling him into her side with one arm. "An' Luz, Eda, Hooty, and myself love that somebody very much. Even Lilith loves that somebody."

"Everyone lied." King stated, trying to keep himself from sobbing again. "An' the worst part is, I was too caught up in the fantasy to realize it. I don't know what to do Kali. I can't tell what's real and what's fake."

Kali looked down at King for a moment, before she sighed, and took in a deep breath.

"King, I'm gonna share a secret with you. A secret you have to promise you won't tell, to anyone else." Kali said, Araña jumping onto King's head.

"What could you possibly have to tell me?" King asked.

Kali looked around the beach, making sure no one was there to listen in, before she looked back at King.

"Sapphire's babies, aren't gone." Kali said.

"What?" King asked his eyes wide with shock.

Leaning back a bit, Kali undid the button on her pants, and pulled up the bell compressor, rolling it up to her chest and letting her pregnancy bump out free revealing it was bigger then it had been before the trip.

"When Sapphire and I became one, she gave me the chance to experience motherhood, and made me responsible for her babies." Kali said, gently pulling King in, and leaning his head against it. "Porlyusica thinks my increased appetite, is because they're rapidly gestating back to full term size in a fraction of the gestation period. An' so far she's right, I look big enough to be full term with a singleton, but I'm only half way through the growth spurts with these two."

"I… I can hear their heartbeats." King said, placing one paw on Kali's belly before it moved. "One of them just kicked."

"Because they want their big brother to be happy." Kali said, putting one hand on her belly, rubbing it. "I know it doesn't feel good to have had everyone lie to you, I'm guilty of that myself. But I do know, what's real is you being a part of this family, of my life. Of their lives. You're gonna be the best big brother, these two could ever ask for."

King leaned back and looked up at Kali, as she lowered her waist compressor, flattening out her stomach again, and keeping herself descent. King now had another purpose in life, and he was gonna take it on with pride.

"So, wanna try and find the rest of your memories, and find out where you came from?" Kali asked with a gentle smile.

"Yeah, I'd like to find out where I'm from." King said. "An' I promise I won't say a word about this, to anyone."

Taking King into her arms, Kali made her way back to the castle, and found Eda, Luz, Lilith, and Hooty all waiting anxiously.

"King, you're all right." Eda said, getting to her feet as Kali came to them. King had a bit of a scowl on his face though. "Yeah, you're mad at me, I would be to. I'm sorry."

"Boop." King said, poking Eda's cheek. "No more secrets, okay? You have to promise me."

"No more secrets, only truths. I promise." Eda smiled. "An' speaking of, wanna spill the secret as to why you see my granddaughter as your mother?"

"Because she actually acts like how a mother should." King said.

"Fair enough." Eda said. "I'll admit, I'm not exactly mother of the year."

"So what do we do now?" Lilith asked.

"Now, King's gonna learn the truth about where he's from." Kali said, kicking up Kings horn piece, and catching it in her free hand, before putting it in her hair.

"Since when can you do that?" Eda asked.

"Since forever." Kali chuckled. "You're not the only one, who has storage space in her hair."

"So, what's the plan?"

"The plan, is King's gonna order that thing to not attack us." Kali said. "Follow my lead everyone."

Marching up to the castle entrance, Kali leapt through the opening in the stones, before landing on the ground on the other side. It wasn't long before the creature attacked, but stopped when King held out his paw, and shouted one simple command.

"STOP!" The little demon shouted.

To the shock of the others, the creature obeyed and backed off.

"You will threat these people, my family, with the same respect and care, that you treat me." King said. "Especially her." He stated, pointing at Kali.

The creature bowed, taking a knee before allowing for them to pass.

"That actually worked." Lilith said. "How did you know?"

"Let's just say, I've experienced a similar situation as this, on a past job in Earthland." Kali smiled.

Stopping under the sealed off entrance in the ceiling, Luz willed the plant Glyphs on her sleeves to create ropes of vines, pushing away the rocks, and pulling them all up to the top floor of the tower.

"There's nothing here." Eda said.

"Wrong, there's a set of doors right there." Kali said, pointing to the doors that were straight ahead of them.

Putting King in Luz's arms, Kali marched up to the doors, and began pushing on them, forcing the doors open, and revealing a nursery like room behind them, with egg shells in the center.

"This room, is old. Very old." Lilith said, noticing all the plants and statues within it.

"At least we know what King came from, an egg. Anything feeling familiar to you King?" Kali asked, as Luz put him down.

"Not really, but I think I know how to jog my memory." King said, before holding out his paw, while standing in the middle of the egg shells. "I'm ready."

"Are you sure?" Kali inquired, pulling the horn from her hair.

"I am."

Kali sighed, before handing the horn to King.

The instant King took his horn, he put it back in place, before his eyes widened as memories flashed through his mind.

"I remember, a deep roar. An' then, something happened, but I was too small to do anything." King stated. "So I went back to sleep, and the next time I woke up, I was bigger, I hatched from this egg, and that thing took me. It took me to the ground floor, and it took care of me."

"King…" Luz said.

"That roar, it meant 'son.'" King stated. "I don't know how I know that, but I do. Someone called me their son. I think it was my dad."

"Well you're my boy now." Kali said, pulling King in for a hug, before a flash went off.

The others turned to see Lilith, holding a camera.

"Oh, sorry were we discussing important revelations?" Lilith questioned, before holding the camera flat on her palm while taking the photo that was already printed. "I'll just, do this later." Hooty ate the camera.

"Maybe you weren't exactly the King of Demons, but…" Luz began.

"I was important to someone." King stated. "If, if he's out there I wanna find him. I'm not that old, it could be possible. Would you help me?"

"I'd do anything for you buddy." Luz smiled.

"Same." Kali said, holding King in her arms. "But we're not keeping your creepy servant thing."

"Oh come on please?" King asked.

"No." Luz, Eda, and Lilith said.

"Yes!" Hooty practically sang, while wrapping himself around all three of them.

~Owl House~

"What you doing there King?" Kali asked, using healing magic on Kings horn, reattaching it to his body. When the healing was done, there was still a slight seam visible where the two halves of the horn connected.

"This symbol was all over that tower, what if it's my name?" King asked, using a fork to carve the tower symbol into the tag on his collar.

"It's not your name." Kali chuckled. "I did a little digging, and found it's some sort of concealment emblem, conceals anyone or anything from sight from a specific type of creature."

"How do you know that?" King asked, hugging his bunny.

"Believe it or not, there's actually a book with that symbol on the cover, in the Fairy Tail archives." Kali smiled, putting him in her nest, while her pregnant belly was unrestrained and free, forcing her tank top to ride up its curve, before she put her hands to her lower back, and stretched. "Ooh, this thing is a lot easier to carry when it's concealed."

"Have you told anyone else about the babies?" King asked as Kali crawled into the nest with him.

"Nope, you're the first." Kali smiled, pulling the blanket over them. "Wanna go in my storage stomach, and spend some time with your siblings?"

"Maybe some other time." King said, before looking to his servant, as they'd actually brought it home with them. "It's too bad Jean-Luc stopped moving outside the ruins. I liked having a big scary minion."

"I'll see what I can do about getting him active again." Kali said.

"Kali, is it still okay to call me King?" The little fur ball asked. "It feels kinda weird, when I'm not the king of anything."

"Well, you'll always be King of my Heart. That's good enough, right?" Kali smiled.

"Yeah." King said happily. "Good night Kali."

"Good night King." Kali smiled, kissing his cheek.

"An' Francois." King said, holding him up to Kali.

Kali kissed Francois.

"Now Jean-Luc." King said.

"Don't push it." Kali stated.

"Aw." King sighed, before he snuggled deeper under the blanket.

Kali was confused at what he was doing, before she felt him curl up around her belly, and give it a kiss.

"Goodnight, babies." King said, as Kali smiled, and put one hand on his back.

"Goodnight, family." Kali smiled, closing her eyes, and allowing for the world of dreams to take her.

Quick side note, the mate mark in Mama Mirajane, never happened in the Fairy Coven. It only happened in Mama Mirajane. Ignia only called Kali his mate, because he wants her as his mate, also I'm not gonna give spoilers, but he might have done something with Kali in her cursed beast form.
