sixth in two days, yeah!

"Master, we've found the targets' house. Shall we go inside?" Jetfire asked over the comms.

"Negative, Jetfire, Jetstorm, you may harm the human girl that's possibly inside. She still must be protected, even if she's fighting for the other side."

"Yes master Drift, we shall return to base then." Jetstorm said, ending the communication channel.

...

"And where were you two?" Soya asked, tapping her foot in irritation. "You didn't leave a note, much less answer my twenty calls." The twins winced, they knew that they were busted so Solarburst attempted to lie- with a dash of the truth of course, the best lies always came with a bit of truth.

"Well... I wanted to see the two minicons and Lunarflare tried to talk me out of it, but I went anyways. Lunaria tagged along to make sure I didn't get into trouble, please don't blame her."

"But why would you want to see your new jailers?"

"Because, well,-" She stammered, Lunarflare saved her with their sad truth, "We've never really seen another minicon besides our family..."

Soya's expression changed from one of disappointment to one of sorrow. "I'm so sorry." She said in a small voice.

The trio didn't speak for a long time, Soya breaking the silence with a question, "So, what were ya'll called when people were referencing both of you back at Cybertron?"

"The eclipse twins, it's fitting since our names are based off of the words 'lunar' and 'solar'." Lunarflare said.

"And we don't hate it all that much compared to our popular nicknames." Solarburst added, sitting down.

"Well, shall I call Luna 'ecli' and you 'ipse'?" Soya joked.

"No!" The two minicons shouted.

"Just kidding, sheesh, you don't have to try and break my ears to say no." The human said, rubbing her ears.

"Sorry..." they said, still speaking at the same time.

"All's fair in love and war I guess." Soya turned to lay back down, signaling that the conversation was over.

...

Drift was looking at the hologramic femme for the fifth time that day and he didn't know why.

"Soyanami, why did you sacrifice yourself to save me?" He whispered, unaware that his pupils heard him.

"Is that what has been bothering you, master?" Jetfire asked, pausing in the middle of training.

"Jetfire, Jetstorm, I do not recall either of you asking for a break." Drift dodged the question.

"But... yes master." The two minicons began sparring again.

Drifts' attention went to the image again, him gazing at the nonexistent femme. If I could turn back time, I would ask, before she died, why she saved me from dieing by that 'Cons hands. He thought, turning off the disc and putting it in its usual groove between his armor-plating.

Blah, blah, blah, this chapter's short, ALL OF THESE ARE TO BE SHORT! besides, it helps me get them out faster.
