I give thanks for my dedication to a song- the nightcore version- called 'Somebody like me', it made me think up this fanfic in the first place.
And if anyone wants, I can do a fanfic about Soundwave (Prime) finding some love (He's my favorite decepticon- Ratchet being the favorite autobot- for that continuity, don't question my tastes).
OMG IVE BEEN WRITING 'JETFIRE' INSTEAD OF 'SLIPSTREAM' THIS WHOLE TIME AND I HADN'T REALIZED! Should I fix it for the previous chapters or no?
"And... that's called..." Soya drifted off to sleep, it was almost midnight
Solarburst saw an opportunity and putting a blanket gently on Soya- snuck off to the garage for a bit of sleep with her sister.
When morning arrived, Soya was still asleep so, being the trouble-magnets the twins were, they decided to sign up for a singing contest together and began to practice a song.
"-I know exactly what I don't- drat, that's not what I meant to say." Lunarflare sighed.
"Tell me about it," Solarburst grumbled, "I have to play the background music and that's hard."
"Well what if we create the music first and then play it while we sing together, besides, my voice won't cover all the singing alone." Lunarflare suggested.
"Anything that can get me out of this nightmare is fine by me." She replied, setting up a recording device.
The night finally came and the twins were ready for it. First, they excused themselves from Soya by saying that they were going to have some 'twin time' together, then they went to the stadium and got ready for their performance.
"The eclipse twins!" The stage announcer shouted.
"That's us!" Solarburst squealed in excitement.
"Yeah, let's go!" Lunarflare began to play the background music and stepped onstage.
...
"I'm getting four decepticon signals at a concert area, two are inside and two are in the vicinity." Fixit said from the alchemors' command console.
Slipstream asked Fixit if he could hack the registration page to see if it was two of the strange trio.
"Hm, the only thing that looks odd is this entry, "The eclipse twins'." Fixit replied.
Jetstorm thought then remembered that the other pair of minicons had complained to their human friend about being called 'the eclipse twins'. "That's the one." He said.
"So we have a situation. A bad situation too." Grimlock said.
"Not necessarily, Grimlock, the humans will be too busy watching the concert to notice what's happening outside the building." Strongarm said
"No not that, the problem is that two minicons are gonna be on the stage."
Bumblebee was in slight surprise and shock that Grimlock had thought with intelligence and realized something no-one else had yet. "Um, er- Grimlock's right, two minicons are going to be onstage and visible to thousands of people, we need to stop them and the possible decepticon threat outside of the building." He stuttered
...
Solarburst tapped her foot in time to the music while she sang as the sub-singer with Lunarflare.
"I know exactly what I want and who I wanna be, I know exactly why I walk and talk like a machine. I'm now becoming my own self-fulfilled prophecy, oh- oh no, oh no, oh no- oh~." Lunarflare sang, Solarburst singing along at the 'oh no' part.
...
"Jetstorm, Slipstream, get inside that building and make sure those other minicons are not causing problems!" Drift shouted to his students
"Master, we cannot harm the minicon femmes, you were there when me and Jetstorm agreed to what the human had said." Slipstream said to his master.
"I know, which is why I hope that we do not have to face them." Drift said.
Slipstream and Jetstorm ran to the building and opened a side door to get backstage. They heard singing the closer they got to the curtain and was relieved that the other pair of minicons were meant to be there as singers. They tuned in the song that the minicons were singing and accidentally let it play thru their comm. links, letting even the scrapyard hear it.
"-TV taught me how to feel, now real life has no appeal. It has no appeal, it has no appeal, it has no a.. ppeal! I know exactly what I want...-" The pair of minicons sang on, as unaware as the humans of the chaos outside of the building.
"Will you two shut your comm. links off?" Bumblebees' voice came over the two minicons' frequencies, startling the two out of their trance-like state.
"We are sorry, the song was very distracting." Jetstorm apologized over his comm. link right before turning it off.
"It's almost like their weapon is their voice." Slipstream murmured, inching towards the curtain. He would have gone thru it had Jetstorm not yanked him back.
"We're watching, not singing." Jetstorm told Slipstream.
...
"-My own self-fulfilled prophecy, oh- oh no, oh no, oh no- oh~." Solarburst stole the microphone and sang her part while playing keep away with Lunarflare "-I'm gonna live, I'm gonna fly, I'm gonna end, I'm gonna die...-" When her part was over and Solarburst refused to give the microphone back, Lunarflare hit her sister hard on the head and snatched away the device. Solarburst quickly got up from the floor and they danced together with extreme coordination, singing at their parts of the song.
When the song was over, every human was cheering, Solarburst was happy and Lunarflare felt proud.

"Bumblebee to scrapyard, we've apprehended the two cons and request a groundbridge back."
"Fixit to Bumblebee, entering your coordinates in the groundbridge... nope, heh, the groundbridge is inoperable."
Bumblebee sighed and told the team to drive to base.
The song the eclipse twins sang was 'Oh No.' by "Marina and the diamonds", I'd say it represents Soundwave alot.
