Danger, Danger~

I'm warning you, this story has taken a dark twist. It'll straighten itself out eventually, but for now it's dark.

Solarburst would have screamed if her voice-box had allowed her to.

Slipstream grabbed her hand and began to run away from the door and back to the place where they entered from.

As Solarburst was rushed past the doorway, she saw its head snap towards them.

"Scrap, it saw me!" She shouted, attempting to run as fast as Slipstream.

"Just outrun it and we'll be fine!" Slipstream called over his shoulder.

"Easy for you to say! I'm- ack!" Solarburst tripped just as they rounded the last corner.

"Solar!" Slipstream whirled around and ran towards her. He was almost there before an organic tentacle wrapped around Solarburst's leg and dragged her into the shadows.

"Help!" Solarburst called as she was dragged farther and farther away from Slipstream. She kicked at the thing around her leg, but wasn't able to release its hold.

Solarburst froze when she heard a voice, "Well, well, what do we have here? Another thing to add to my collection? No, you aren't organic." A slimy tendril wormed it's way over her shoulder, Solarburst cringing at the feeling.

"L-let me go, please." She said, fright apparent in her voice.

The voice chuckled, "Oh I'm just getting started."

The sound of broken off metal was heard and a few seconds later, a scream of pain echoed throughout the room and into the corridor.

...

"Solarburst!" "Slipstream!"

Soya was sitting on Drifts' shoulder as halfway during their search, her feet had become sore. Their minicons were busy having a conversation to distract eachother from the possible situation.

"Master Drift!" A recognizable voice shouted in the distance.

"Slipstream!" Drift ran in the direction of his lost minicon, almost knocking Soya from her spot on his shoulder. The aforementioned minicon burst thru the tress and hugged Drifts' leg, greatly distressed by something.

"Solarburst... she- she's been t-taken by a-a thing." Then he promptly broke down and cried. Soya jumped down from Drifts' shoulder and tried comforting Slipstream, but she couldn't do much.

"Drift, I'll go back to base with Slipstream here, can you save Solarburst for me?" Soya pleaded, looking up at him.

"I-I can show you where I last s-saw her." Slipstream offered, wiping tears off of his face. Lunarflare and Jetstorm were doing their best to comfort poor Slipstream, having little luck.

"Then show us." Drift said, he seemed to be trying to act like it wasn't something horrible.

()

They all followed Slipstream to an abandoned building and saw little tiny paint flecks on the floor from where Soya's missing minicon tripped and scraped herself on the rough flooring.

"Solar," Slipstream sniffed, "Was here with me. I asked if she wanted to explore it together, she said yes. But there was this... this thing there in one of the rooms, we almost escaped, but it- it dragged Solar off right before we got out."

"I called the others, they should be here soon." Drift said, wary of the shadows.

"Since I'm here- although I doubt I'll be of much help-, I'm coming with the search team." Soya said.

"You cannot, the team can handle this on our own." He replied

"One of my best friends- who I love as a little sister- are having who knows what being done to them, doing nothing about that is basically the equivalent of not helping Slipstream or Jetstorm when it truly matters."Soya was now the one who was crying, Slipstream sniffling at the mention of Solarburst.

...

He's fallen for Solaria so hard, I don't think he even realizes it. Lunarflare thought, gently patting Slipstream's head. I mean, Solar? Come on, that's just gotta be a sign of love. Lunarflare was trying to distract herself from the fact that she might never see her sister again, being successful.

"Lunarflare? May I talk to you for a minute or two?" Jetstorm asked, looking at her.

"Uh, sure, whatcha need to talk about?" They stepped away from Slipstream, keeping close to Drift though.

"I've been meaning to talk to you about something... when you said 'lovebirds' to Slipstream and Solarburst, what did you mean?"

"Haven't you seen the signs? They're clearly in love with one another, it's fun to see Solaria be embarrassed sometimes too."

Jetstorm looked confused. "Look thru your memory files, then compare it to human signs of love." Lunarflare said.

Jetstorm did so and was surprised at the extreme obviousness of it all.

"See? They are in love."
