My eyes open up. I almost call for my out mother, but I remember being in the Academy. I'm in the IS Academy. Also, I have a roommate. I don't know if she is awake, but I do not want to wake her. I go to the bathroom to wash my face. After I finish, I go back to change my clothes. I put on the Academy's uniform with my training weights. I sit down in my bed and open my gifts.
I open Krillin's first. It's a photo frame. It shows his family and my family. It's a nice small gift. I grab 18's gift. It's a small bag. Inside the bag, there were several small boxes. I open a box, and it is a tablet. Actually, it's a capable one. From the specs, it was costly. I open the rest of the boxes. In one, there was a screen protector, another one had a pencil for the tablet, and the last one, it is a case that could store the tablet with the pencil.
'Ahhh. 18 does care about me.' I thought to myself. She rarely gives anyone expensive gifts.
I grab Yamcha's gift. It was a long thin box. I open the box, and I am not shock at all. It's a baseball bat with three baseballs. I put the bat and the baseballs inside the box and place them under my bed. I will see if I find the opportunity to play some baseball.
I sat back down in my bed. I want to explore the Academy but do not know the layout. I need to wait for Hoho-san to wake up. I remember that there is are vending machine just down the hallway. I grab some yen to buy myself a snack and a drink. I open the door and went down the hallway. I grab green tea and a chocolate bar. I walk back to my room. I finish the tea and the bar and grab my phone to stream music. I notice that my mother had sent me some text messages. I read them, and I am surprised that she suggested that she would not press charges as long as they apologized to me. Huh, father being here did improve her mood. I stream music and begin to do some push-ups with some planks.
After 30 minutes, I decided to stop. I need to ask Hoho-san if there is a gym. Or if there is a sports club where I can participate in. I go to my bag and grab my laptop. I login in and surf the Internet. I check on the news. No surprise; most of them are about me in some capacity.

There were even more. I look for other news on current events. Bulma's company is doing good. With me being a representative of Capsule Corp., the stocks had risen by seven percent. I remember that I also have stocks inside Bulma's company. With the terms I signed, until I finish school, I only have a base pay of 150,000 yen per month with stocks and other incentives. The income is alright since the yen has recently become more valuable and used worldwide. Also, Bulma is taking care of the tuition, and the IS Academy is taking care of my other needs. So I can save the money and invest it in stocks, bonds, or myself.
I heard something on the other side of the slider.
"Hoho-san. Are you getting up?" I ask my roommate.
"Yes, Son." I hear her. "When did you wake up? It's pretty early."
"Quite some time ago," I respond. "I'm used to waking up early. I need to help on the farm or train with my father."
"Ohh. I going to change. So no peeping. Got that." Hoho-san says to me.
"I promise you that," I promise. My mother will kill me if I peep at girls without permission.
"If you break it, I poke your eyes out." She tells me, half joking and half serious. With that, I heard her changing her clothes. After a few minutes, she closes the slider. I see her in the Academy's uniform. Both of her sleeves were covering both of her hands. She is wearing long socks, with the standard uniform. She has two pigtails that were in place by two yellow ties. She is rather attractive.
"You look good, Hoho-san," I praise her while trying not to blush.
"Thank you, Son. You look good as well." She says to me. Then our stomachs growl in hunger.
"Let's go to the cafeteria," Hoho-san said.
"Sure." We finish preparing ourselves. Once we were done, we made our way to the cafeteria.

Normal Pov
Madoka's eyes start to open. She yawns a bit and stretches. She puts on a pair of slippers and goes to the bathroom. She washes her face with cold water to properly wake up. Once done, she dries her face. She goes back to her room. She starts to prepare some coffee. While the water is heating up, she changes to her school uniform and grabs a box of tea bags. She finishes, and she hears Houki beginning to wake up.
"What time is it, Madoka?" Houki asks. She gets off the bed and stretches a bit.
"It's 9," Madoka responds to Houki. "I'm heating some water. Do you want some tea?"
"I will have some tea. Give me a minute; I going to change." With that said, Houki starts changing her clothes. After a few minutes, Houki finishes changing, and Madoka hands her a cup of tea.
Houki takes a look at Madoka's outfit. Madoka's uniform is made of a white jacket with the IS Academy theme colors, long black socks, and some black shorts that reach her knees. Houki is wearing a button-up dress with the Academy's theme color, long black stockings, with some black boots.
"Why are you wearing boots? Nee-san told us that we were going to walk quite a bit." Madoka asks her friend.
"I'm used to wearing boots. Also, these pairs are quite pleasant." Houki responds.
"Okay." Both of the girls were drinking their drinks. After some time, Houki starts to ask Madoka something.
"I heard that you are the representative candidate. How hard was it to become one?" Houki asks her friend.
"Yeah. It was hard. It is several hours of studying the IS and using one. There were around 300 girls. After the first month, only 50 were left. Most were dropped, while some quit, and three got injured. After a year, only five of us were left. One of them only did this to prove a bet to someone. One decided to go with a company. One of the girls was able to become a candidate for another country, and the last one was dropped. However, since her knowledge about the IS is quite high, she studies programming with the IS." Madoka responds. "Honestly, if it wasn't for my boyfriend, I would fail."
"So what did he do for you? It must be pretty big if you say you would not pass without your boyfriend." Houki asks. She is getting curious about Madoka's boyfriend.
"He cooks meals for me when I come back from training. He assured me that I actually ate, took showers, sleep well. He would clean the house and massage me when my muscles were too sore." Madoka says. She remembers Dan carrying her back to her house from the training facility since she couldn't feel her legs. Madoka blushed all the way through.
Houki sees her friend blushing and decides to take advantage. She sits near Madoka and starts to whisper.
"So little Doka-chan needs her Daddy boyfriend to take care of her, to feed her, shower her, and cuddle with her. And when you sleep, he kisses you and reads you a bedtime story." Houki whispers to Madoka's ear.
"I told you, only Dan can call me Doka-chan!" Madoka yells at Houki.
"So you do not disagree with the rest of my statement." Houki fires back.
With that, Madoka becomes a blushing mess. After a bit, Madoka is able to compose herself.
"So, do you have an IS ready to use?" Houki asks Madoka. Since Madoka is a candidate representative of Japan, she needs an IS.
"It's not ready. During the last few months in the training facility, I trained with a Uchicage; they told me it would take a while since the company that was supposed to build my IS was busy working with another IS. The only thing about my IS was that some engineers asked me what I would want in IS. I told them about the sword my sister used before and a rifle or sniper rifle to engage in long-range battles." Madoka says to Houki. Houki is surprise at Madoka's answer.
"Wait! So you don't have a personal IS?! When is it going to be finish?"
"Actually is about to be finished. Before I came, I was told that my IS should be completed by next week. They did confirm that the IS had close and long-range capabilities. They told me nothing about the other IS they were working on." Madoka finishes talking. Houki is also surprised by the news. Before any could speak, both of their stomachs growl in hunger.
"Let's go, Madoka. Hopefully, the cafeteria is open." Houki says.
"Do you know the way?" Madoka asks her friend.
"No, but I do have a map. With this, we should be able to find our way."
With that, Madoka grabs both of the cups and cleans them. Houki finds the map. With that, both girls leave their room and go to the cafeteria. They notice that there were some students outside already.
"Do you think that we could be classmates with Son?" Houki asks Madoka.
"He mostly likely he will. Nee-san is pretty scary. If not, he will move with us or is already placed with another strict sensei." Madoka responds. Both were witnesses of Ichika's capabilities and what some students thought about him being in the IS Academy. "I just hope that yesterday's incident is the only one."
"Yeah. I hope so as well." Houki responds. They walk until they see Ichika with another girl.
"Do we talk to him?" Madoka asks.
"Sure, let's go. Besides, it will be good for him to have friends." Houki says.
They made their way toward Ichika and his friend.
POV Normal
5 minutes before
Ichika and Honne were making their way to the cafeteria. Honne is guiding him. Ichika is at ease since only a few students are in the hallways. He wants to eat, not to deal with the girls.
"Son-kun, are you ready for the first day?" Honne asks.
"I am. Also, isn't the first few days spent preparing the students. Like they give the students an orientation, tell them where to find student resources, and much more." Ichika responds to the question.
"Well, I just hope that we can find Ka-chan. You two would be good friends." Honne says eagerly.
"How far is the cafeteria? I getting hungry." Ichika says while his stomach growls. Honne laughs at Ichika's situation.
"Not much. Besides, the walk with be worth it. The cafeteria's staff come from different parts of the world. They only hire the best of the best." Honne tells Ichika.
"I just hope the food is good as my mother," Ichika says. He didn't like to be hungry.
"Son-kun!" Ichika and Honne hear someone calling at Ichika. Ichika turns around and sees two girls that he met yesterday.
"Hey girls," Ichika greets them.
"Hello," Honne waves at the girls.
"Hello." Madoka greets them as well. "Who are you?" Madoka says to Honne.
"I'm Nohotoke Honne, but you can just call me Hoho-san," Honne states her name.
"I'm Orimura Madoka, and she is Shinonono Houki," Madoka introduces herself and Houki. Knowing who the students are, Honne squeals.
"Ohh, my God!" Honne starts to scream in excitement. "You're the younger sister of Oriumura Chifuyu! And you are the younger sister of Doctor Shinonono!" Madoka gives a dry laugh. Houki, on the other hand, is upset when Honne mentions her sister.
"Calm down. You don't want to wake up the whole Academy." Ichika tries to calm down Honne. He wants to avoid attracting girls to his location. Honne notices what she did and blushes with embarrassment.
"Where are you two going?" Ichika asks the girls.
"We are heading to the cafeteria," Houki says.
"Hoho-san is taking me there as well. Do you two want to come with us?" Ichika asks them.
"Sure," Madoka responds quickly. 'Maybe he can tell us something about his family. Or anything about him being my brother.' Madoka has not given up the idea that Son is her late brother.
With Madoka's answer, Houki just went along. It would be better if Honne would guide them to the cafeteria. While walking, Ichika asks Honne something.
"So, Hoho-san, how do we order our meal?" Madoka and Houki are interested in the question.
Honne speaks to the group. "The Cafeteria makes several dishes. Every two weeks, they switch what they are severing. You can ask what they have and then request the dish. You can mix, ask for bigger portions, and remove certain things from the dish. There are around two to five choices for the meal, with another section for the drinks."
"Are there any stores or cafes inside the Academy?" Houki asks Honne.
"There is a cafe that is run by the students. They will be open during the weekends and when there are no classes. There used to be a grocery store, but it was changed to a general store instead." Honne responds Houki's question. In a few minutes, they see a sign with 'Cafeteria' written.
"We are here," Honne says. All of them arrive at the cafeteria.
Some students were making a line to order their meals. Other students were already sitting down and eating their meals. Several of the girls notice the new group entering the cafeteria.
"Look, its Son Ichika." Someone told her friend.
"Isn't that one the younger sister of Orimura-sensei?" one asks.
"Do you think I can be his girlfriend?" A blonde one asks.
"No. I should be his girlfriend." A brunette retorts the blonde one.
"I can't talk to him. I missed my opportunity." One laminate that Ichika already was in a group.
"Look at those beauties." A girl is staring at Houki and Madoka. "I wish I could date one of them."
Ichika, Madoka, Houki, and Honne heard some comments about them. They were uncomfortable with the comments. While Madoka is used to those comments since she heard similar comments during school. She had several students ask her out. Ichika received only a few compliments from his peers since most of his friends were around his mother's age. Houki wasn't with her peers for several years. Honne rarely spent time with other people.
When it was their turn, Honne's statement was true. The chefs have made several dishes. They served low-fat pancakes with eggs and bacon, a soup of vegetables, and eggs with sausage and bacon. There is orange juice, low-fat milk, coffee, tea, or just simple water for drinks.
Honne decides to get pancakes with bacon and orange juice. Ichika went with the soup but with extra vegetables, with some green tea. Madoka orders a significantly bigger order of eggs and sausage with a cup of coffee with some cream. Houki grabs the soup and coffee. They find an empty table to sit down at. They were about to eat when Honne saw someone that she knew.
"Kaza-chan!" Honne shouts to a blue hair girl. The others look at the girl that Honne is calling. When they find the girl waving back at Honne, they notice the girl's features. She wears the standard IS Academy uniform and has long stockings and black boots. Her eyes were crimson red which contrasted with her blue hair. After she orders her breakfast, she makes her way toward the group. Once she sits down and places her tray, it shows what she has ordered. Pancakes with some eggs with a cup of milk.
"Honne, who are these people," the blue hair girl asks Honne.
"Kaza-chan, these are Son Ichika, Shinonono Houki, and Orimura Madoka." Honne then waves her hand to the blue hair girl, "And you three, this is my childhood friend Sarashiki Kanzashi."
"Nice to meet you, Sarashiki-san," Houki tries to start a conversation with Kanzashi. However, all of them notice that Kanashi becomes upset for some reason. "Are you fine?" Houki asks Kanzashi. After a few seconds, the blue hair girl speaks up.
"Just call me Kanzashi" Kanzashi says to Houki. Though the statement is also directed toward the rest of the group.
'Does she have family problems/issues?' Houki and Madoka thought to themselves. Houki had her childhood ruined by her older sister. She had never forgiven her at all. Madoka will never recover from her brother's death. It did not help that she relied more on her boyfriend than her older sister to get by.
"So Kanzishi-san, how did you meet Hoho-san?" Ichika asks.
"That is simple. She is personal mine maid." Kanzashi said calmly.
"What?!" Madoka and Ichika shout in confusion. Houki's eyes widen slightly, but she controls herself. She remembers that the government would hire maids and butlers to help her family out during hiding. But after a while, her family did the chores to pass the time.
"It's customarily for my family to be assigned to someone in Kaza-chan's family. Actually, my older sister is the personal maid of Kaza-chan's older sister." Honne says to the group. Madoka, Houki, and Ichika are surprised that Honne became a maid at a young age.
They finish their meals and place the trays with the dirty dishes on the conveyor belt. They decide to visit one of the parks that IS Academy has. Once there, Ichika sits alone, Madoka and Houki sit on another bench, and Honne and Kanzashi sit one for themselves. They enjoyed the view for a while.
"Uhh, Son-kun? By chance, is your IS ready?" Kanzashi asks. All the girls are intrigued by the question. While Capsule Corp. was able to get an IS core, it would still take weeks or months to have one ready for Ichika.
"It should be ready this weekend. Bulma told me she wants me to visit her to tweak any code." Ichika says. The girls were surprised by how fast Bulma is.
"Briefs-san is pretty smart to prepare an IS in less than a month?" Houki says.
"It doesn't hurt that she worked on an IS for some time. Also, she has dozens of people helping her out." Ichika says. He remembers seeing almost 30 different people working on his IS.
"Does anyone else has a personal IS?" Ichika asks.
"Mine is about to be completed. It should arrive next week." Madoka says. She notices that Kanzashi is looking down.
"Kanzashi, are you alright?" Madoka asks.
"Her IS is not ready. Kaza-chan is a representative candidate of Japan, but recently, her IS was placed on hold to finish another IS." Honne explains why Kanzashi's mood. "Kuromochi Machinery Development decide to finish a different IS."
Madoka's eyes winded up. "Wait, you are the one that Kuromochi Machinery Development was working with." Kanzashi nods. After a bit, Madoka apologizes to Kanzashi.
"It's okay. It's not your fault, Orimura-san," Kanzashi says. "Right now, I am trying to modify one of the Uchigane from the Academy. But it will take me months to modify one."
There is a silence between them. Madoka notices that Ichika has a blue thing in his arm.
"Son-kun, what's the blue thing in your sleeve?" Madoka asks Ichika. Ichika takes the blue thing out of his hand to show the group.
"This is my training weights. This one weighs around 60kg." Ichika states about his training weight.
"There is no way that's 60kg! You are bluffing!" Houki shouts at Ichika. She doesn't believe that Ichika could be that strong.
"No way! How strong are you?" Honne asks. She's surprised that her roommate is very strong.
Houki stands up and walks to Ichika. "Let me try it," Houki says as she stops in front of Ichika. She extends her hand to Ichika and motions for him to give her his weight.
"Here. Just be careful." Ichika says to Houki as he hands her the training weight. Once he lets go of the weight, Houki almost lets it drop, as she did not expect it to be that heavy.
"Shit! You aren't lying." Houki says while struggling with the weight. Madoka walks to her friend.
"Here, pass it to me," Madoka says as she gestures to Houki to pass her the weight. Houki hands her the weight, and Madoka also struggles with it.
"Fuck!." Madoka swears. While she doing better than Houki due to her training, the training weight is hard to maintain since she can feel her skin hurt where the weight is resting. Madoka passes it back to Ichika to let her hand rest. Ichika puts the training weight back on his wrist.
However, Madoka's and Houki's outbursts attract several students. Some were already there.
"What's going on?" A student asks.
"I think they were seeing someone's weight." Someone responds to the question. She was in the park for a while.
"Ohh my God! It's Son Ichika! I hope that we have the same homeroom!" A girl shouts in excitement.
"Look! Its Shinonono Houki and Orimura Madoka! I am so glad that I came here!" Another says in excitement.
"Look at the blue hair one. She looks quite cute." A girl says to her friend. She is attracted to Kanzashi.
The girls keep on talking about the group. They were making more and more inappropriate. Ichika and the girls were getting uncomfortable with the comments.
"What's going on here?!" A voice silence the other voices. All of the students look at the source of the voice. It's Orimura Chifuyu.
"Nee-san?" Madoka asks in confusion. She is surprised that her sister is here. Before anyone could say anything, Chifuyu head-chops Madoka.
"Its Orimura-sensie, Orimura." Chifuyu states to her younger sister. Meanwhile, Madoka is massaging her injury.
"Hai sensei," Madoka responds to Chifuyu's command. Madoka did not expect her sister to head-chopping her. Several students were able to hear someone laugh.
"You found that funny?" Houki asks Ichika.
"A bit, yes," Ichika says while laughing.
"Do you want a head-chop, Son?" Chifuyu asks, half threatening. This causes Ichika to laugh a bit more.
"No-o sen-nsie," Ichika responds to Chifuyu's question between his laughs.
"So, what is the commotion?" Chifuyu asks. She still wants to know why there were many students here.
"Both Houki and Madoka were testing my training weights. They were surprised at how heavy it is." Ichika says. He pulls out his training weight. Chifuyu goes and grabs the training weight and is surprised that it is rather heavy. She could effortlessly train with it but is more surprised that Ichika can carry this easily.
"What is the heaviest that you can carry?" Chifuyu asks.
"The most that I train with is 340 kg," Ichika says without thinking about what he said. Before he can catch what he said, everyone starts shouting.
"WHAATT!?"
"HHOOOWWW?!"
All of them were surprised that Ichika could train with that much weight.
'How is he not in the hospital' Madoka thinks to herself. She could only train with 20kg in weights without getting sore.
'What type of training is he doing? There is no way that he can carry that!' Houki says to herself.
"How strong are you, Son-kun?" A student asks Ichika.
"Yeah. You gotta of tells us."
"Can you bench press me?" A girl says. She is taking her shot with Ichika.
"No fair." Another says her displeasure that someone is trying to get ahead.
"Can you train me? I promise I will ensure it will be worth it." Anther said. She winks at Ichika when she says the last part.
"No, you train me. I will be your girl-"
"ALL OF YOU! LEAVE NOW!" Chifuyu roars at the students. All the girls, except Ichika and his little group, left quickly. The questions were getting too personal, and she could see that Ichika was unhappy about the comments. She does not want a repeat of yesterday.
"Thanks, sensei." Ichika gives his thanks. He gives her an innocent and grateful smile.
"No problem Son," Chifuyu says. She glances at Ichika and then sees similar traits to her late brother. She is about to call Ichika her little brother. 'Otouto.' She regains her composure.
"If the girls are causing you trouble, call any staff member," Chifuyu states.
"Sure. I will keep that in mind."
"Anyway. I suggest you five get ready for today. Today, all the first years have orientation, and it would be best for you all to have running or tennis shoes." Chifuyu says to the five. With that, Chifuyu left the five.
The five decide that they will keep on watching the view. The ocean and clear sky made a pleasant sight. After 20 minutes, someone spoke.
"So Kaza-chan, where is your homeroom?" Honne asks her friend.
"I'm in 4-A. What about the rest of you" Kanzashi says.
"Madoka and I are with Orimura-sensei in room 1-A," Houki says.
"Same as me, 1-A," Ichika says.
"Same," Honne says as well.
"Ohh," Kanzashi says. She starts to feel down. "So all of you four will be with each other."
"Come on, Kaza-chan, what about your roommate. You might at least have her." Honne says.
"Thankfully, I do not have here with my homeroom." Kanzashi says relief. The others take notice of the change of tone.
"What's wrong with her?" Madoka asks.
"She is quite arrogant, prideful, and makes fools of herself. She thinks she is above everyone since she is a representative candidate of England."
"Wait, Alcott Cecelia?! That's your roommate!" Madoka says surprise. She has heard about Cecelia. She is a skilled IS pilot.
"Yeah. She is my roommate." Kanzashi says. "What about you?"
"Houki and I are roommates," Madoka responds to Kanzashi's question. The three of them look at Ichika and Honne. Both of them look nervous. Ichika takes a look around to see if there is someone. When he sees no one, he starts to speak.
"I will tell you, girls, but you must keep quiet. So no shouting, and do not tell everyone." Ichika says to the girls. "Because if you do, it will cause too much trouble for me."
The three of them agree to keep silent, and Honne speaks.
"Son-kun and I are roommates," Honne says.
The three of them were shocked at the news.
"Wait, I thought Son-kun would have a room for himself?" Kanzashi says. Madoka and Hook nod in agreement.
"Most likely, since my entrance was pretty late, there weren't any rooms I could use for myself." Ichika reasons why he is rooming with Honne.
"That's true. The world knew about you just two weeks ago." Madoka says. She remembers when Son became famous. All the news was reported about him and what the Japanese government would do with him.
"Should we get moving? It's almost 12." Honne asks. The rest of them decide to go.
They take a while to reach the homeroom. They arrive at homeroom 4-A.
"Well, Kaza-chan. This is your leave." Honne says.
"Yeah. Well, see you later." Kanzashi says to them. They say their goodbyes, and Kanzashi enters her homeroom. The four of them went to their homeroom. As before, there were several girls in the hallways.
"Do you think Son will be in 2-A?" A girl asks
"I hope so. Then I might ask him out." Another dream about Ichika.
"NOOO! He is not in 4-A." One laments that she will not be near Ichika.
"Look at the girls that are with. They look like supermodels."
"Do you think he's dating one of them?"
"I think so. Look at them. They look so hot and have some assets."
"I hope that he is in 1-A."
The four of them were hearing the comments. The girls were unhappy about the comments, and Ichika is getting annoyed. They reach their destination. They enter 1-A.
They notice several girls are inside the class. Ichika takes a look at the clock, and it states 12:32pm. Before any of them could sit down, the girls corner him.
"Look, it's Son-kun."
"OHH MY GOD! It's really him!"
"I'm so lucky to be alive!"
"Can you kiss me?"
"Yeah, you should kiss us."
"Son-kun, do you have a girlfriend? If not, I can be yours." she shows him her body.
"Wait, no fair. I should be his girlfriend. I can cook better than you."
"I should be his girlfriend. I have bigger breasts."
The girls start asking him questions. They would also argue with themselves. The girls were also getting closer to Ichika, and some were making moves on him.
"EVERYONE! TO YOUR FUCKING SEATS NOW!" Ichika roars at the students. He is done with the girls' childish behavior.
With Ichika roaring at them, the girls took a seat. All of them are scared of Ichika.
'Holy Shit! I didn't think that he would yell at them.' Madoka says to herself. While she could see why Ichika screaming at them, what little time she spent with him, he seemed very kind.
'Like mother like son.' Houki thinks. She remembers Ichika's mother and her terrifying aura. She was ready to eat the poor girl up for trying to touch her son's hair.
"Son." Someone spoke up. It sounds more like a whisper or a cry. Ichika looks at the source of the cry. It is Honne. She is shaking and is about to cry. "Your scary."
Ichika starts to play with Honne's hair. This calms her down.
"Sorry, Hoho-san, but I am done with the students' nonsense." Ichika says to Honne. He ruffles Honne's hair. One of his hands moves some of her hair out of her face. However, several students were unhappy that Ichika is treating Honne better.
"No fair!"
"Yeah! It's not fair!"
"Son-kun, you are public property."
"Yeah, it's your job to make us happy!"
"We should get head pats as well!"
"Yeah, he needs to play with our hair as well!"
"We weren't doing anything wrong!"
"Wait, do you think that she is his girlfriend?"
"Maybe I can get some ac—"
"EVERYONE BE QUIET!" Chifuyu commands the girls. Ichika, with his hands on Honne's hair, Honne calming down, shakes more with Chifuyu's roar while Houki and Madoka look at their sensei.
Chifuyu enters the room with someone. Its Yamada. They see most girls in their seats while Ichika plays with Honne while Madoka and Houki are up. Chifuyu says something to Yamada, and the green hair teacher goes outside the classroom.
"Well. I want to know. I heard a shouting match in my classroom!" Chifuyu demands.
"Houki, Son, Hoho-san, and I enter the classroom in just a few minutes. The girls noticed Son and surrounded us. The girls started to ask some questions. The questions started to get weirder, and were getting closer to him." Madoka starts explaining to her sister.
"Is that true, Son?" Chifuyu asks.
"It's true, sensei. I shouted at the girls because they were asking too many questions and getting too close." With that, Ichika stops playing with Honne's hair.
"So why were you playing with her hair Son?" Chifuyu asks.
"Hoho-san was shaken badly when I shouted at them. So to calm her down, I ruffle her hair a bit." Ichika responds.
"The girls didn't like Son giving Hoho-san better treatment, so they expressed their displeasure. I even heard one of them saying, 'Son-kun, you are public property,' with another saying it is his job to make them happy." Houki adds.
'It's better for all of us to have Chifuyu to deal with the girls' antics. It is her or Son's mother.' Houki thinks.
Chifuyu takes a deep breath. 'It's only the first day. I already have to deal with this insanity. I need a beer after today is over.' Chifuyu thinks to herself. She will need to bring this to the meeting.
"After today's orientation, I will have all of you, except those four and whoever is not here now, a lesson about respecting your classmates. You got that, girls!" All the girls nod in agreement. "For today, you can sit where ever you want. You can also talk with each other but leave Son alone. He can't take this insanity any longer. At one, the class will start." With that, Chifuyu makes her way outside. As she opened the door, some students were waiting to get inside.
Ichika checks the clock, and there are a few minutes left. He finds a chair in the room's corner and makes his way there. Honne follows him since there is another empty chair next to where he will sit. Madoka and Houki find two desks open in the front of the room and decide to sit there.
The rest of the girls speak but leave Ichika alone. Little by little, the rest of the girls enter the classroom. When the clock states 1pm, Chifuyu and Yamada enter the classroom.
"Class has started. I need your attention." Chifuyu speaks. "As many that you know me, I'm Orimura Chifuyu, your homeroom sensei." With that statement, the girls start to act up again.
"Ohh my God! It's really her!"
"It's my pleasure to be in your presence Orimura-sama!"
"I wish I could be your sister!"
"I'm so jealous of Orimura-sama's younger sister. It must be a blessing to have her as the older sister."
"BE QUIET!" Chifuyu commands the girls. As she roars, the girls silent down, "I will do roll call, and then I will explain what we will do today. When you hear your name, just respond with a yes." With that, Chifuyu starts calling one name after another. Each time, she hears a response. After calling all the names, Chifuyu starts to talk about today's plan.
"Today, class, we will have an orientation around the IS Academy. We will visit the Arenas, student resources, library, nurse's office, dentist, cafeteria, tutors' office, and more. That will be for today. After we finish, the class will end. Any questions."
"Will other first years have the orientation?" Ichika asks.
"All first years will have this orientation," Chifuyu responds.
Someone asks, "What is the main difference between the 'Pilot,' 'Engineering,' and 'Programer' courses?"
"The 'Pilot' course is about piloting an IS. This will include how to enter an IS, fly an IS, and switch weapons. You will also learn how to read alerts from the IS and what it means. This course will include more physical activity. The 'Programmer' course will teach students how to code in IST. Learn how to improve the code and work in groups and by yourself. The 'Engineering' course is almost identical to the 'Programmer' course. Instead of coding, the students will work in the assembly of the IS. They will learn how to repair an IS if it's damaged. Use the machinery to maintain, repair, and build an IS. It's common for students to take both the 'Programer' and 'Engineering' courses together." Chifuyu explains the difference between the courses.
"How will the class system work?"
"You will spend most of your time with your homeroom classmates." Yamada says, "This will be PE, Math, Japanese language, and basic IS theory. As you all remember, you could take other classes. So some of you will have cooking, communications, a coding class, or learning a different language. And for the course class, you will be with classmates in the same course. There might be some exceptions, but they are rare." Yamada finishes speaking. Unlike Chifuyu, Yamada didn't project her voice as much.
Several more questions were asked, and Chifuyu cut it short after a while so they could start the orientation. Honne and Ichika walk together, while Houki and Madoka walk together. Other girls were in groups, alone or with one other student.
They walk to the Student resources. A counselor is waiting for them. She explains what they could do with student resources. They could use computers, use printers, use textbooks and get help with homework. Also, student resources can help you apply for scholarships and learn about jobs in the Academy.
'No shocker that she is talking about jobs and scholarships. Last time I checked, a student must pay around 50 million yen annually. Houki thinks to herself. She looks at the job poster, where there are several positions. Some were inside the Academy, and very few were on internships with corporations. 'Most of the students have their tuition paid by their home country. Around 40 to 60 percent of it is paid unless she is quite skilled, then usually the home country pays a bigger percentage.' Houki takes a look at Cecelia. She is talking to some other students. She boasts about her accomplishments. 'Alcott, Son, and Madoka have their tuition fully covered by their home country, and with Son, its Capsule Corp. pays for Son's tuition. Japan is only covering my costs so they can gain favor with HER.'
After the questions were answered, the class went to the library. The librarian says what the library can offer to the students. They can borrow books or laptops. They could also study inside the library silently or use one of the few break-out rooms. The librarian also says she is looking for some students to work at the library. She tells them the wage, how many hours they would work, and their tasks. The student asked some questions, then they left for the nurse's office.
The nurse tells about her duties and what the students can ask her personally. Also, she informs the students that they might receive an email asking them about some important information about them. They can ask their family to send the documents or have a physical examination with a blood test in the Academy instead.
Then the class enters an arena. Chifuyu explains they can use the arenas and several locations inside the arena that the students need to know, such as; locker rooms, shower stalls, bathrooms, and where the exit is. Two of the arenas could hold an audience, while another two were much smaller, and most of the students used these arenas to train or have mock battles.
The class visits several parks, the cafe, study rooms, gyms, clubs, the dock, and the student council room, but the president is away, and much more. Some students were getting tired, and some complained about their feet hurting. Chifuyu stops the class at one of the parks.
"Orientation is over, and it's almost four. The cafeteria will close at eight, so I suggest you all grab lunch and dinner." Chifuyu says to the class. The student were about to leave when she speaks again. "Before any of you leave, all of you listen!" All of the students stop moving. "For the ones that will receive the punishment, it will come tomorrow, so do not forget. I know who you are." The girls that received the roar from earlier today nodded in agreement. In contrast, those not in class when the Ichika shouted at the girls were confused. "Now, all of you can leave. Son. Can I have a moment with you?" Chifuyu allows the class to have the day for themselves while asking for Ichika. Ichika walks to his sensie.
"I need you to be in room 1-A at 4:40. I will explain later," Chifuyu tells Ichika.
"Sure, sensei," Ichika says.
With that, Chifuyu leaves with Maya. Ichika goes to Honne since she stays to wait for him.
"Are you in trouble with Orimura-sensei?" Honne asks. Ichika pats her head while explaining to her.
"She might want to ask me some questions that might be too personal to ask out in the open," Ichika says. With the explanation and the head pats, this calms Honne down. "Come on, Hoho-san, let's go and get some lunch." With that, both of them made their way there. They catch up with Houki and Madoka. They also find Kanzashi walking by herself to the cafeteria as well. All five of them went to the cafeteria and were happy with the short line. They order their lunch and find a table for the 5 of them.
"Did any of you meet my roommate?" Kanzashi asks.
"We know how she looks since Orimura-sensei was doing roll call. But no one of us actually spoke to her. Though I did see her being prideful when we were doing orientation." Houki says.
After a bit, Ichika finishes eating his meal. Then he leaves.
"Where is Son-kun leaving?" Kanzashi asks.
"Orimura-sensei might ask him some questions. As you know, he is the only man in the Academy, so the staff wants to ensure he is safe here." Honne answers. Kanzshi nods in agreement while Houki and Madoka think about last night's events.
After a few minutes, Ichika arrives at class 1-A. Inside the room, his sensei is waiting for him.
"Good. You are here." Chifuyu greets Ichika. "As you remember yesterday's events, the IS Academy does not want that to happen again. Also, we have some questions about your family that need to be answered in front of some teachers. In 20 minutes, there will be a meeting with several people that will have questions about you."
"Fair enough. Lead the way, sensei." Ichika says to his sensie. With that, Chifuyu leads Ichika to a conference room where several people waiting.

Sato Inn sits in her chair. There were several people as well. Several Ministers of the Japanese Diet were also present with other people. The Emperor and Prime Minister were also current. There is a flatscreen turn-off. Someone speaks.
"Sato-san, what is the reason for this meeting?" Someone speaks.
"I call all of you for this meeting because it involves Son Ichika," Sato responds.
