There are a few things to know before reading. This is a modern AU version of Avatar the Last Airbender with no bending. This is a story about Aang and Azula who are in their last year of high school. Almost every teen mentioned is either 17 or 18 and about to graduate. The nations are the same names/cultures. In this world's history the Avatar is pretty much the same, a peacekeeper amongst each nation to keep things in harmony. Also this story, like many of my other stories, is unrevised.

WARNING! There will be mentions and vivid scenes of teen sex, teen pregnancy, underage drinking, mental illness/disorders, drugs, violence, and some swearing.

Regarding mental illness/disorders, I do not know much about certain disorders and illnesses. Whatever is written is based off of research only. I respect those who are struggling with mental illness and those who also embrace it as a part of who they are. I hope I don't offend anyone with anything written in this story. I will also respect any reviews or opinions shared. Thanks for reading!

Rated M/MA(18+ readers only cause I just read the update guidelines and I refuse to be banned off of FanFiction!)

Everything was going downhill and Aang felt heartbroken. While he thought everything in his life was perfect, having outstanding grades, being accepted in Ba Sing Se University with a scholarship in Aerodynamics and Aviation Studies being, and having the most beautiful girl in their school as his. He failed to realize that there had been a major change in his relationship with Katara.

As he sat on the couch surrounded by familiar and unfamiliar faces at this party his friends, Toph, Zuko, and Sokka dragged him to he thought back to all the times where he ignored the signs that his girlfriend was beginning slip away from him.

It pulled at his heartstring when he suddenly remembered her face when he had accidentally cut her off while she was trying to tell him something followed by him leaving without hearing anything she had wanted to say.

Aang took a swig of Spirit Water Vodka that Sokka handed him before heading into the crowd of partygoers like his other friends did.

He cringed at the cold and overpowering taste and placed the bottle on the floor next to the couch before standing in search of better liquor.

Forcing his way through the crowd of rambunctious teenagers, he sighed in relief when he finally made it to the kitchen.

Eyes darted around the kitchen and the few people that stood socializing, until he found the Fire Whiskey he was looking for. He popped it open and took a long swig, gulping down as much as he could to get himself drunk. The liquor burned from the back of his throat down to his belly. He took a deep breath and attempting to keep the liquor down.

Aang looked around the kitchen again, no one paid him any mind. He realized no one actually cared what he did at that moment. He was going to finish the bottle by himself he decided.

Now all he needed a less crowded spot in the house so he could relax in peace.

Moving upstairs he searched the rooms that were upstairs that were taken by other teenagers. He even opened to door to a room and saw Sokka and Suki going at it like rabbits. He quickly shut the door and took a long swig from the firewhiskey to clear his mind of that scene.

There was a part of the house he realized through his drunken haze that had a lesser amount of people and he stumbled in that direction. There was one door at the end of the hallway that no one seemed to surround. He took a breath, seriously hoping that he wouldn't be walking into another couple going at it, and opened the door slowly.

When he peeked in he saw the room was lit by candles and a girl sitting on the bed and began to slowly close the door before she could realize he was there but he heard a sniffle coming from her.

He wondered why she was crying. Hoping that nothing bad happened to her in this room.

Aang stepped into the room quickly, the firewhiskey sloshed in the bottle some managing to spill out onto his hand, which he clumsily shook the remaining liquid off.

"Are you.. alright?" He asked, a slight slur in his voice.

The girl stopped sobbing and wiped at her face.

When she turned around Aang took a stumbled back slightly in surprise.

"Azula?!"

Azula glared at him.

"It's either you're in or you're out . I don't care which one you choose, just close the door."

He simply stared at her for a moment deciding whether to leave her in her current state or not.

She turned back to the window. Her shoulders shaking slightly in her attempts to muffle her crying. He would stay, he decided.

Shutting the door softly her maneuvered his way over the bed Azula was currently sitting at in the empty spot to her left.

He sat there quietly for a few moments waiting to see if she would do something or say anything.

When she didn't, he inquired about her emotional state.

She sent him a fierce glare.

"Why?! Do you think I'm crazy just like the others?! You know what forget it. Get out. GET OUT!"

She shoved him, but he barely budged. Even in his drunken state he remained as steady as a rock against her attack.

They watched each other for a moment, taking the other in. She did look very distressed, like something or someone was bothering her.

Had he known that she was on medication for her mental health he probably wouldn't have given her the firewhiskey to take a swig from.

Aang watched Azula down about half the bottle in only seconds. She looked like a normal person as opposed to her poised, nonchalant façade. In his drunken state, he found her attractive with her hair out of place, cheeks flushed, fire whiskey slipping from the side of her mouth and down her throat into the valley between her breasts.

His mind suddenly began wondering about naughty things he could do to her.

He jolted in surprise when he felt the bottle being shoved into his hand.

Azula stared at him her golden eyes were now hooded as an effect of the liquor.

"Aang?"

Aang tilted his head curiously. She never calls him Aang but he ignored the oddity and hums in acknowledgment.

"Am I really such a bad person? I know I can be aggressive and even mean at times but there has to be some good in me to outweigh the bad right?!

He took another swig from the firewhiskey as he pondered her question.

"You…. do have a lot of negative aspects of yourself, but you also have some good in you, I can tell. You just have a hard time sharing that part of yourself with others. Not sure why that is though. People aren't mind readers, no one is going to know how you feel or what you think unless you tell them," He tried his best to articulate without slurring.

Aang watches Azula's lips twist into a frown. His mind begins to wonder how they would feel like against—

"I do share parts of myself, people just don't understand!" Azula exclaimed flinging her arms up in frustration.

"Sometimes all it takes is the right person who is willing to be understanding."

Azula was watching him with an intensity that made her gold eyes seem ablaze.

Just when he was going to ask what was wrong he felt her close the space between them and warm lips on his own.

It was the liquor that clouded his mind as he deepened their kiss. He had forgotten whose lips were moving against his as both he and Azula were swept away by a sea of raw emotions and pleasure.

They shifted almost subconsciously until Azula was laying comfortably below him.

Everything about their encounter was heated and passionate, as though they had been long time lovers.

Clothes were quickly stripped and tossed to the side, momentarily forgotten.

Aang took his time when he first slid in to Azula's wet heat. His eyes rolled back in immediate pleasure as he sheathed himself completely into her. Pausing only to adjust to the relishing feeling of their joining.

Her body was gripping him so tightly it was almost painful. He could stay still for much longer before pulled out slightly only to thrust into her again.

He gasped softly in pleasure as he slid in and out of her moist heat that was spasming lightly around him.

It surprised him to hear the wonton moans coming from Azula's lips that were shaped in an 'O'. He never thought she could make those sounds or that he could feel himself growing even harder within her from them.

A couple minutes passed by and he could feel the change within their actions. She was almost there and so was he.

They were both searching for release and soon enough they both found it.

Aang rolled off Azula and laid beside her trying to catch his breath.

He could feel the bed shift as Azula moved quickly to straddle him. A choked gasp resonated through the room when she slowly sank herself onto him. His hands gripped her hips tightly and watched her as she rode him slowly, she was relishing the feel of every inch of him. At that moment he realized how sinfully beautiful Azula was.

It turned him on to see how attracted to him she was. From the way she tilted her head back in pleasure to her pebbled pink nipples to the moisture from her slick heat glistening on the inside of their thighs and on his cock as she moved herself up and down his shaft.

It didn't take long before Azula spasming around him moaning loudly as she did. Aang followed suit, coming inside of her for the second time that night.

Azula rolled off of him and content they both fell into a deep slumber. Neither of them thinking about the repercussions they would face from this one night spent together. Both too intoxicated to realize how much this would affect them. How much this could hurt those closest to them.

It was the sun that woke Azula. She felt the energy building within her as the first rays of Sunlight touched the earth.

She felt something wasn't right almost immediately when she awakened. Not only did her body feel like she just had sex, someone was laying next to her in the bed. She knew it couldn't have been Chan because he made it clear he wanted nothing to do with someone as insane and unloving as her.

When she finally opened her eyes, the sight before her shocked he to her core. What the hell had she done last night? Right next to her snoring lightly was one of her brother's closest and possibly most annoying friend. He was also from a clan that had been nearly wiped out as a result of a long feud between her people and his. Suffice to say there were still some tensions between the Air and Fire Nations.

They were different in so many ways she had no idea how this could have possibly happened.

She removed herself from Aang and stood up from the bed nearly tripping over the bottle of firewhiskey that she was sure played a major part in what happened.

Azula quickly dressed her memories slowly came back to her.

She had a fucking meltdown and he just had to be the one to waltz in to her room.

All she could do now was growl in frustration and anger at herself.

She was in the middle of pulling on her pants when Aang groaned and began to awaken and access his surroundings.

She watched as gray eyes squinted in confusion before they widened in shock. Aang sprung up from his spot on the bed and immediately grasped his head as the hangover process began.

"What is going on Azula?!Where am I and why am I naked?"

Azula rolled her eyes and sighed at his slowness.

" I didn't take advantage of you if thats what you are thinking."

Aang's cheeks reddened. It was exactly what he was thinking happened. It had to be that way.

"You are in my bedroom Avatar. Also, we had sex last night which would explain the nakedness and why you are waking up in my bed."

Aang gasped in surprise and quickly fround his clothes and dressed. He couldn't stop the look of disbelief and shame that covered his face.

"This wasn't supposed to have happened Azula. All I remember was looking for a quiet place to get away from the crowd. I-I don't remember any of this," Aang gestured between them.

Azula finished getting ready, tying her hair up into a high bun, as he spoke before turning to face him again.

"Well at this point it doesn't matter what happened. The solution is a simple one. Just move on from this. No one has to know what happened between us last night. You can go back into your perfectly happy life with your perfect girlfriend, amazing friends, and being the guy everyone loves and cherishes."

"Spirits! Katara! What is she going to think of me when she find out?!"

Azula rolled her eyes and walked over to her dresser. She grabbed her prescription bottle, popped it open and swallowed the pill dry. She could feel a headache coming on.

"If she finds out you mean?" Azula examined her nails in a bored manner. "Like I said build a bridge and get over it. Your little girlfriend wont even know about this, unless you tell her of course, though I have a strong feeling you wont. And don't you worry, I wont tell anyone about this. It'll be our naughty little secret," She finished with a sarcastic tone.

Looking up into the mirror she glanced at the man on her bed to find he was glaring at her.

They held a staring match before he groaned in frustration.

Aang put his head into his hands again and Azula gave loud sigh of boredom, even though she was far from bored.

She was freaking out a little too but that didn't mean she was going to overreact about this. At least not for other As long as no one knows what happened between them then she was okay with it.

" Oh, relax Avatar! This was just a casual thing. Besides didn't SHE break up with YOU? So technically you last night doesn't constitute as cheating."

" We didn't really break up! We're just taking a little time away from each other and I betrayed her by sleeping with you."

Azula turned to face Aang with a pressed expression.

"Are you going to tell her?"

" No! I mean I dont know, I dont think so!"Aang shook his head furiously before placing it back in his hands.

" Good! So, since that is all cleared up for you, you can leave now. Thanks for last night Avatar, I guess I will see you at school on Monday. Also, if you ever want to do last night over again, just give me a call. The fucking I mean, not all drunkeness and emotions."

Aang lifted his head and stared at Azula as she finished putting on her signature red lipstick. He growled in frustration before standing up and walking out of the room, the door slamming closed behind him.

Azula flinched slightly at Aang slamming the door shut behind him. He shouldn't be upset with her. All she did was tell him the truth! It was no use crying over spilled milk regardless of him being as drunk as a sailor, he still managed to sleep with Azula the night before.

If memory served her right, he did make her come twice in a row and that she was definitely alright with. It was more than enough distraction from her own problems and he could help her move on from her now ex-boyfriend Chan if he weren't so sensitive about his relationship with Katara. Besides, Azula knew a couple of secrets the water tribe girl was keeping from Aang, one involving her annoyingly broody older brother.
