Why I Wrote This
After watching the Season 2 finale of The Bad Batch last year, my mind swam with ideas about what could happen next. Before I knew it, I had developed a full story in my mind. As a writer by trade who aspires to create my own TV series, I decided to outline my concept—just for practice. I drafted the entire third season, wove together character arcs and a political intrigue plot, and wrote a detailed breakdown of every single episode. I realized that my story was too expansive to fit within one season, so I created a fourth and final season as well.
I was still working on the fourth season when I learned that the official third season was about to premiere. I was disappointed, as I wanted a chance to complete my story before the third season came out. But I was still in love with my project, so I decided to finish it regardless.
When I was ready, I started uploading my episodes to my Wix site. However, I only have the free version of Wix, so people cannot see my website unless they have a link. I wanted to share my work with more people, so I decided to create a fanfiction account and post my story publicly!
I plan to post one new episode per day. I welcome reviews, but would appreciate it if you didn't mention anything that is happening in the official third season. I'm still working on some of the episodes, and I don't want the events of the actual third season to influence what I write. So far, I've managed to avoid the trailer and promos, and I don't plan on watching any of the episodes until I complete my story.
