Interlude 2

Zesshi was in his bathtub trying to get the dirt out of the sewer. Despite having been at it for hours, the smell didn't seem to want to leave her.

'Damn, damn Clementine for making me go to that disgusting place, what was she doing here and why did she go on the "Beast"? I'm going to need to keep an eye on that place again', the half-elf thought as she sank into the bathtub and start scrubbing again.

In Nazarick, Ainz was enjoying one of his most relaxing moments, lying in the large hot tub while Miyoshi-kun worked his way through the indentations of his skeleton.

'Two months have passed. The reports, though plentiful, are so confusing, it's about time I talked to them in person. Albedo has already summoned them and they will soon be here... What a headache it will be to gather all this information', thought the Overlord while he joined his fingers in an OK and blew a soap bubble, something prodigious for someone who has no lips or lungs .

The bubble rose and rose then passed to the other side of the fence and...

"Atchin!!"

"Is anyone there?"

"Humm!!! It's me my lord, Shalltear, Shalltear Bloodfallen, I'm taking the time to relax a little... shhhh!" whispers, "shut up, I know what I'm doing".

"Is anybody else there?"

"Umm, weeell..."

"It's me Ainz-Sama, Albedo."

"You're together!! And you're not fighting?"

"Yes my lord, it seems we have reached a common goal-arinsu."

"I know, this is really good! After all, working together for the common good is one of the goals... you guys didn't happen to pick up the remote viewing mirror, did you?"

"Nooooooooo."

"Good, because those wards are still active, so trying to use it or looking over it would cause big problems... are those holes in the fence?"

In a far-fetched plan, the guardians made such holes in advance. With no one to watch, the security wasn't activated, and now, standing back from the fence and using their prodigious eyesight, they figured out how to bypass the system, that is, until Ainz mentioned it aloud.

"CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATION DETECTED! SYSTEMS ACTIVATED! PERVERTS WILL BE PUNISHED!"

"RUN! EVERY GUARDIAN FOR THEMSELVES!!!"

"PERVERTS WILL BE PUNISHED..."

"Aff! Don't I have a minute of rest?" wailed the Supreme Being.
