A/N: Quick update. Don't expect a lengthy chapter, just a little bit of fluff before Dynamite! Wanted to get this out before the Royaliest at newlegacyinc's twitch. For anyone still in the Royal Rumble mood, these guys have been uploading one video game Rumble a day throughout January and now they're taking each winner from those rumbles and seeing who will be the Royaliest, hahah. Come join us, should be fun!

Adam tilts his head back, exhaling slowly as he waits outside of the studio, tapping his fingers against his crutches thoughtfully. The weather's not great, cloudy and chilly, but he doesn't mind it, not really. He was tired of being inside so he'd gone out for some air, peering up at the clouds as they drift lazily overhead. He's still lost in thought when he hears footsteps behind him and a hand presses against his shoulderblades. "Hey, Max," he says, turning with a smile. "Done filming?"

Max shrugs. "They may call us back for ADR later, but yeah. That was the end of it." His thumb rubs lazily over Adam's arm before he nudges him towards the car. "Ready to go? Your flight's soon, right?"

"Yeah, it is," Adam says, shuffling towards the car. Max reaches out and holds the crutches for him as he eases down into the passenger seat. "Thanks," he says with a small smile, Max placing the crutches in the backseat.

"Well, then, let's go," he says, moving around to the other side of the car. Despite his arm injury, he still likes to drive, and Adam watches with a small smile as Max starts the car up. "Anywhere you need to go before the airport?"

"Nah, I'm good," Adam says, shrugging when Max looks over at him suspiciously. "I swear!"

"Yeah, ok," Max says. "Well, hopefully if you forget something here, you can get one of the four dweebs to get it for you on the other side."

"Max," Adam chides lightly, but he lets it go when Max smirks over at him, eyes glinting in that way that's always charmed him. He huffs a laugh, peering out of the windshield. "I'll miss you."

Max hums, slowing to a stop at a red light before resting his hand on the panel between them. Adam glances over at him and squeezes Max's fingers. "I'll miss you too," he says quietly. They share a small smile and Max hits the gas. "Well, let's get you to the airport before you get in trouble." He pauses. "Although..."

"Max," Adam says, squeezing his hand again.

"Alright, alright." He takes the turn towards the airport, chuckling. "Had to try."

"Wouldn't have expected anything else," Adam says fondly. "I won't be gone long."

"Just'll feel like it," he mumbles, tapping his fingers against the steering wheel.

"I know, for me too." He rubs his thumb over Max's knuckles. "I'll call you."

"You'd better," Max says, lacing their fingers together for the rest of the drive.
