The next day, Naruto went to buy the groceries himself and made sure to hire some bodyguards for Hinata and the baby, just in case Sasuke or Itachi try to attack them again.
"Man, life is so strange! Trunks made me believe I would lose Hinata and get together with Sakura, like it was my destiny or something! But that didn't happen so I'm happy." Naruto said as he continued buying things at the store. Then he noticed Sakura was also shopping nearby with Ino and Shikamaru.
"Sup guys! How are things going with your training?" Naruto asked as he walked over.
Sakura smiled at him for once in her life. "Hey Naruto, we're doing just fine. Vegeta says I'm getting stronger really fast."
Ino nodded. "Naruto, have you met my boyfriend Shikamaru yet?" Ino asked introducing him.
Shikamaru smiled. "I remember you as a kid, you were always such a goofy guy."
Naruto chuckled. "I take that as a compliment, Shikamaru. Are you still such a dreamer?" Naruto asked as he then looked into Sakura's eyes and saw stars falling from them. "S-Sakura... I've never noticed how pretty your eyes actually are." Naruto said as he made her fall in love with him, but he didn't realize that.
Sakura blushed. "N-Naruto... don't say things like that! Anyway, c'mon Ino let's go! Goku and Vegeta are waiting for us." Sakura said hoping to get the heck out before she kisses Naruto madly in passion.
Ino chuckled as they left the store. "What's wrong Sakura?" Ino asked.
"Um... Don't you think Naruto is kinda handsome now?" Sakura asked holding her chest tightly, as she kept feeling the heat inside her heart burning in love.
Ino smiled. "Sakura... you don't have a crush on Naruto do you?" Ino asked as she laughed.
Sakura began backing away in fear. "W-What... Maybe I do! So what!" Sakura yelled.
"Your still a virgin, aren't you?" Ino asked further making Sakura back away in shock.
Sakura sighed. "Do you think Naruto likes me too?" Sakura asked.
Ino chuckled. "He did just say your eyes were pretty, so get a clue Sakura! I think that idiot has always loved you, or have you forgotten our childhood? Well anyway, stop thinking so much about him! We've got some training to do with Vegeta and Goku." Ino said as they flew away.
Meanwhile, Naruto had returned home and he found Hinata appearing to be sleeping.
"Naruto-kun..."
"What was that voice!? Hinata?" Naruto wondered why he had just heard her voice. "God maybe I really am going crazy. I should wake her up so we can eat together." Naruto said as he went to wake her up.
Hinata had passed away in her sleep.
"W-What... N-No... It can't be true!!!" Naruto yelled in shock as he saw she wasn't waking up.
Trunks then opened the door and came in. "I'm sorry but she's gone now, Naruto. I always knew it was meant to be this way..."
Naruto kept crying. "But we have the dragon balls! We can wish her back to life!"
Trunks sighed. "She died from natural causes, the dragon can't wish her back to life because of that I'm afraid." Trunks explains as he sits down next to Naruto. "You see, God took her away for a reason you can't understand yet. Be happy she didn't feel any pain." Trunks said.
Naruto wiped the tears from his eyes. "I loved her so much..."
