The time has come for Adam's revenge. Blake, the girl he loved and left him stood before him, stunned and speechless. As Adam began to approach her, Blake began to back away.
- Are you running away again? - Adam spoke first. - Is this what you've become, my love? A coward? - Blake stopped and tried to gather courage.
- Why are you doing this? – She asked indignantly and Adam angrily grabbed Wilt's grip.

We would have been the spark of the revolution! – An injured civilian was lying at his feet, whom Adam stepped on. - Consider this the first spark. - He drew Wilt out to finish him off but Blake also drew her sword and came to the man's defense.
Gumbo Shroud and Wilt met and Blake tried with all her might to push back Adam's katana.
- I'm not running! – Blake decided but Adam turned out to be much stronger and menacingly started pushing her back and towering over her.

Beacon's gate was the last stand that separated the White Fang from ultimate victory. All the Vale and Atlasian soldiers were dead and it was held by only a group of Hunter students who were determined to hold the gate to the end, even at the cost of their lives.
Unfortunately, the Grimms, the White Fang soldiers and the Atlasian robots presented the students with the toughest challenge of their lives up to that point. They desperately tried to repel the attackers with all their might but for every Grimm and robot that was cut down, two more took their place, giving the impression that the enemy's power was infinite.
The students were running low on strength, aura, and Dust supplies and a platoon of newly arrived Paladins had terrified them enough to overwhelm them with the fear of defeat and death.
- This isn't good! – Neptune and Coco opened fire on the huge machines with all their might but they didn't retreat.
- Well, - Coco lowered her spinner and turned to her teammate, Velvet. - The time has come. Velvet!
- Really?! – The bunny faunus girl's eyes lit up with joy.
- Just make it count. - Coco nodded.
Velvet single-handedly went against three Paladins, making the others' eyes widen.
- What is she doing?! - Weiss snapped. - She's going to get hurt!"
- Has she lost her mind?! - Lance wouldn't have liked to see the Paladins flatten Velvet either but Coco knew exactly what she was doing.

Velvet pressed a button on the box attached to her side, extended her right hand and Ruby's scythe, a blue and transparent version of Crescent Rose, appeared, which she held in her hand just like Ruby. The Paladin loaded its cannons and opened fire but Velvet, just like Ruby, leapt into the air, holding Crescent Rose behind her, Lance could have sworn Velvet was copying Ruby's movements perfectly.
Velvet cut off one of the Paladin's cannons, then disappeared Crescent Rose and replaced it with Myrtenaster, a replica of Weiss' sword, blocking the Paladin's next strike. This time, mimicking Weiss' swift and graceful movements, she dodged the giant machine's next strike and took the same offensive move that Weiss had, knocking the Paladin back with several smaller strikes and then a strong one.
Myrtenaster disappeared and Ember Celica appeared on her wrists, Yang's gauntlets and fired two shots at the Paladin but it prepared to slam Velvet into the ground with another strike but Ember Celica disappeared and Gumbo Shroud appeared and copied Blake's quick movement to dodge the blow , hooked the blade into the hand of the machine and circled it several times with the tape in her hand, then pulled the tape hard, which made the machine unable to move and collapsed.
Another Paladin got behind her but Velvet cut off one of her arms with a lightning fast spin and the blade hit its head, then Coco's minigun appeared and opened fire but it didn't stop the machine, she approached and struck at the girl but she summoned Sun's staff and parried the blow, leaping into the air, summoning Norah's hammer and hitting the Paladin in the head.
Next, Penny's bag appeared on her back, it opened and Penny's 8 swords came out, spinning in exactly the same way as they did around the robot girl. In seconds, she cut off the Paladin's two legs, then began to float the 8 blades around each other and focused a laser projectile similar to the one Penny had and destroyed one of the Paladins.
A third Paladin appeared at her side, but this time Velvet summoned Lance's rectangular shield, Scarlet Rook and blocked the blow, although it pushed her back a few meters but the faunus girl held on, summoning Lance's spear, Golden Sting and stabbed into the arm of the machine. The Paladin raised its other hand to crush it, but Velvet now summoned the tri-blades of Lynda's wristband, moving at lightning speed and dodging the massive robot's slow blows, taking several blows into the machine's leg.
The Paladin raised one of its legs to stomp it to death but summoned What the Heck, Mike's weapon, and fired three rockets from it, knocking the plane over, finally summoning Mandy's bow, which she used to shoot the Paladin in the head and with a single arrow, destroying it.
The second Paladin was only damaged, charged and kicked Velvet, knocking her to the ground.
- Velvet! - Coco angrily opened fire, joined by the team ABRN and Lance with his pistol.
- What are you waiting for?! - Lance yelled as he saw Weiss just standing there staring at them. - You must help! – Weiss gathered strength, she was clearly afraid but that didn't stop her from acting.
Her friends were in danger and as she's able to act she couldn't just sit and watch. With the help of her runes, she sped up, got behind the Paladin's back but a rune appeared above her head, one that Lance had never seen from her before and shocked even Weiss but she didn't stop. She had to protect Velvet, so she stood between her and the Paladin which was about to strike her down and defensively, she raised her weapon and began to concentrate with all her might.
It was an incredible sight. A huge knight's sword and an arm holding it appeared from the rune, which deflected the Paladin's blow and cut the huge machine in half with a single cut. Before she could disappear, Velvet took a picture of the knight's sword and arm.
The ground rumbled and four more Paladins appeared.
- You got to be kidding?! - Sun had had enough of these Paladins.
- I have an idea! - Lance ran off. - I'm calling for reinforcements!
- Please, hurry! - Neptune urged.
The students clashed with the Paladins, Lance hoped they would be able to hold them off long enough for him to find his team members. He remembered as soon as they landed in the yard, he told Mike to look for Lynda but he hadn't found her since.
Lynda and Mandy just circled each other for a while but finally Mandy released the arrow at Lynda, who activated her Semblance and split the cane with lightning speed with her claws and charged straight at the fox faunus, who teleported away in a flash.
Lynda, as they had trained and practiced together, knew Mandy's tactics well and knew that she would now appear above her and shoot an arrow at her, which she did and Lynda easily cut the arrow. Mandy teleported, behind, in front of, next to, and in front of Lynda but she dodged every blow. Lynda, on the other hand, couldn't land a single blow on Mandy, as she knew her moves, she knocked one arm aside, caught the other and tried to twist it, but using her Semblance, she started spinning at lightning speed, freeing herself.
The two girls were completely equal and couldn't defeat the other.
- Mike, don't you want to help?! – Lynda yelled and the fat boy picked up What the Heck and fired a missile at Mandy, who quickly teleported away from the direction of the exploding projectile, so it landed towards Lynda but that's exactly what she expected. She caught the missile with her claws and deflected it towards Mandy, who didn't have time to teleport, so it was only luck that she survived and the missile missed her head by inches. - Maybe we're equal, but you don't stand a chance against the two of us.
Mandy, not at all normal for her, as if she had just taken off a mask, smiled and stared confidently at her former teammates.
- Who said I was alone? – Suddenly, a punch knocked Mike to the floor. Derrick appeared, dragging his chainsaw on the floor and only turning it on after knocking Mike out. - You should know, - She added another arrow to her bow and strung it up. – the White Fang hangs out in pack.
A plane appeared above them, piloted by another White Fang soldier, Aaron.

- My hatred for humanity made me drunk! - She released the arrow but Lynda dodged it with her Semblance, then Derrick's chainsaw, took a kick at the man but Aaron opened fire from the air as soon as the target was clear.
Lynda didn't turn off her Semblance and dodged Aaron's turret fire. Mike used What the Heck with rock Dust and summoned a boxing glove to slam Derrick against the wall.
- Well, how did it taste, big man?! – Mike was completely excited that now he could hit Derrick against the wall. Mandy glared at the fat boy from behind her mask and grunted, who staggered a little but What the Heck now loaded with fire Dust and shot towards Mandy.
Mandy parried all the projectiles with her dagger, then teleported away from a fire boxing glove, behind Mike and was ready to stab him in the back but Mike recognized her and activated his Semblance to block her strike. Mandy took a few steps back, waiting for Mike to attack again, so Mike used What the Heck again but he heard the ominous and somewhat familiar whine of a chainsaw behind her.
Derrick got behind him and Mandy just wanted to distract him. The large man lashed out at the fat boy, who pulled up his Semblance shield at the last second, parrying Derrick's chainsaw. He used all his strength to break through the fat boy's shield but he didn't have to because Mandy fired an arrow at Mike that pierced his back.
With that, a yellow light flashed around Mike for a moment, indicating that his aura had run out and he wasn't protected by anything. The blood slowly began to run down the back of his yellow T-shirt, he fell to his knees and ran just enough to look sadly at Mandy.
Mandy felt remorse and regret and seeing Mike's pleading look, she took off her mask, so she could show her sad, green eyes. Mandy could only see confusion and disappointment in Mike's brown eyes, as if to ask, "Why did you do that?".
Lynda couldn't do much against Aaron, since the faunus boy was shooting at her from a plane and she was running like a rabbit from cover to cover, dodging the bullets. From a tall piece of debris, she managed to jump onto the plane's windshield and pierce it with her tri-blades. Aaron was terrified and tried to keep the plane away from Lynda's blades and in the air at the same time.
He took out his pistol and opened fire through the windshield at Lynda, who was forced to move from one place to another and then jump off the plane. But then she smelled blood. She looked towards the source of the smell and saw one of Mandy's arrows pierce Mike's back.
Lynda didn't think and immediately attacked Mandy, who was about to execute the fat boy.

Suddenly, a fist slammed into her face, causing her to fall to the ground, a purple light flashing around her, indicating that her aura had turned off. Lynda growled angrily, pulling out her blades to really finish Mandy off but Derrick charged her with his chainsaw, which she parried with her blades. Lynda initiated a fierce duel with the large faunus man, the chainsaw and its blades sparking each time they met but neither side could put the other down.
Suddenly, they heard machine gun fire hitting Lynda in the back as Aaron opened fire with the plane's turret. A white light flashed around Lynda causing her aura to run out as Derrick punched her causing her to fall to the ground with a bleeding nose.
- F*ck it... - Mandy stood up next to Derrick, rubbing her hurt face. - That… should have been easier.
- And it's not over yet! - They heard another voice in the distance. It was Lance, the captain of the team LLMM. - Mandy, what you did here, I don't know if I can forgive you. - He raised his sword and shield and pointed them at the White Fang soldiers.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Mandy aiming an arrow at him, which he parried in time because it just bounced off his helmet.
He needed to protect his friends but he couldn't. Power. He needed the power to distract the White Fang so they can focus on him and buy Lynda and Mike time to escape.
At that moment, anger flooded his body and his entire being. A red aura appeared around him, his body, size and muscles all began to grow and as soon as he opened his eyes they began to glow red.
- If you want a fight, you'll get it!
- What happened?! - Derrick couldn't believe his eyes but Mandy knew exactly what was happening.

This claim was immediately supported by Lance as he slammed his shield into Aaron's machine, causing the weakened windshield to shatter and the shield to slam into his head and shatter his mask. The plane began to smoke and descend but Aaron managed to land it.
Derrick charged at Lance, but it was a terrible mistake, because he easily knocked back his chainsaw with his sword and punched him with his left hand, causing him to fall backward and then a gray flash indicated that his aura was also depleted.

Lance charged towards him again and the faunus man just started to back away, only to bump into an Ursa Grimm, which startled him to point the chainsaw in front of him but the Grimm ignored him. He walked towards Lance, snarling at him before the transformed Red Knight finished him off with a single blow.
- The Grimms follow him as a beacon. – Mandy remembered as she grabbed the man's arm and started pulling him towards Aaron's plane. - Here's our chance to escape! - Since he couldn't teleport anymore, they were forced to walk.
- Hurry up! - Aaron shouted as blood poured from his forehead and spread across his face. - Everything is full of Grimms!
As soon as his two companions were on the plane, Aaron didn't hesitate and raised the plane, which although smoking, was still functioning and was about to take his two companions to safety.

Neo climbed onto the roof of the mother ship where the wind was blowing strongly, the huge Wyvern Grimm flew past the ship towards Beacon, followed by Nevermore and Griffon Grimm. She had to walk carefully to avoid falling and being blown away by the wind.

She went down from the roof to the hull and saw a familiar girl in a red cloak with a ridiculously large scythe chopping up a Griffon Grimm. Three strong cuts and the Grimm has already evaporated.
Neo decided it was time to change out of her Atlas officer's uniform for her normal clothes that she could fight in more comfortably but as she did so, Ruby noticed and stared in surprise at Neo, who quickly took a picture of her with her Scroll and winked at her. She sent the picture to Roman and a message.
"Guess who?"
"Roman must be really upset that this girl has appeared again," laughed Neo in herself.
Ruby attacked immediately but Neo easily parried her blows or dodged them with grace and agility. Furiously and irritated, Ruby began to spin Crescent Rose but to no avail, Neo was simply too fast and agile to even land a single hit. Finally, she dug the tip of the scythe into the floor and opened fire.
Neo, since she was unable to open Hush here, used her illusion to dodge Ruby's shot. As soon as her illusion was shattered, Roman appeared behind her and with Melodic Cludgel opened fire on her, knocking her back hard but she didn't fall from the ship because she planted his scythe firmly into the floor to hold it. Her composure only lasted until Roman walked up to her and looked down at her.

- But why?! - Ruby demanded the answer. - What do you get out this?! - Roman just smiled.
- You are asking the wrong question, Red! It's not about what I can gain, - For a second, he glared at Neo and resolutely grabbed Melodic Cludgel. – it's about I can't afford to lose!
Ruby charged again but Neo jumped over Roman's shoulder and kicked Ruby's scythe back, causing her to stagger backwards but she didn't give up. She attacked again and Neo kicked Crescent Rose aside again but Ruby was already prepared for this, she grabbed her side with her other hand to push Neo up with her middle but she reacted with lightning speed and fell down, she hooked one of her ankles with Hush' grip and pulled her up, sent her into the air, then pushed her away with a strong kick and Roman hit her in the head while she was still in the air and to give her an extra boost, he even shot her with Melodic Cludgel.
Ruby flipped off the edge of the plane and if she hadn't hooked Crescent Rose in time, she would have fallen. The Grimms started swarming under her and she desperately tried to get back up but Roman and Neo were standing over her.

Ruby ran towards the Nevermore, which spread its wings and prepared to strike but used her Semblance, jumped on its head and kicked it in the back of the head, causing its nose to fall straight towards Roman, who dodged the creature at the last second but it crashed into the control center window, breaking it and destroying the control system.
- NO! – Roman raged, several explosions occurred in the control center and the ship began to fall. - Do you have any idea what you just have done?!
- I stopped you. - Ruby looked back at him but her eyes didn't even flutter. - That happened.
- I'll still... - Roman was about to at least kill Ruby but she saw Crescent Rose in the distance and with the help of her Semblance she was already fled. She grabbed the scythe and jumped off the falling ship. She successfully cushioned her fall with the recoil of her large-caliber rifle.
Roman couldn't do anything anymore. The control center was destroyed, the ship is going to crash and Red left him here. He had to escape. He ran as fast as he could, opening a door that led to a corridor. He ran all the way down the corridor, several explosions pushed him from all sides and one of them managed to push him up.
His hat fell to the ground and a flaming piece of metal was about to fall on him but he easily knocked it aside with Melodic Cludgel and saved the hat, although the quill was a bit charred. He put it back on his head and continued on his way until he reached the hangar where he found several smaller planes. He got into one, started it up but everything turned upside down when the flagship began to fall nose-down.
He started the engine and successfully took off, put it on full throttle, opened fire and blasted the closed door with two rockets and got out at the last moment because the shock wave of a huge explosion made it impossible for him to keep the plane under control, so the systems they sounded the alarm, everything started to spark and he felt the plane descend in the city.
Chad didn't know how much time he had or how long his heart would last but he joined the fight in the city. He slaughtered at least 30 Grimm and saved twice as many people, civilians and soldiers. People never liked Chad Monroe, as he is known as cold and cruel, who would sacrifice anyone for his own ambitions, but this time they got to know a completely new face of the governor.
He was determined to protect the people and without caring about his own health, he just shredded the Grimm with his huge broadsword.
The other Hunters also took part in the battle, Glynda with her telekinetic power, Qrow with his weapon, Harbinger and many young Hunter students also took part in the battle.
- Chad, - it was Glynda who spoke to him worriedly but sternly. – do you think it's a good idea that you participate in the battle?!
- If I had to choose between dying in battle or waiting for these bastards to break the door on me, I'd choose this any time! - He cut off one robot and attached it to another.
Suddenly, a plane fell from the sky.
- This is Ironwood's plane! - Qrow stated.

General Ironwood survived the fall, although his uniform was in less good condition than himself. His jacket was completely lost, his black shirt was completely ripped off on the right side, revealing half of his upper body, which was more like a machine but the rest of his shirt had several tears and burns. There were several small tears in his pants as well, but it showed that even his legs were mechanical.
He opened fire rapidly on the traitor robots and finished off an entire section in seconds, but his pistol ran out and he finished off the last robot with his grapple. Glynda was relieved that the general was unharmed.

- What happened?! - Ironwood and the others immediately followed.
- My son… - Chad started to slow down, dropped his sword and clasped both hands to his chest and knelt on the ground.

- Don't worry about me now! - Chad handed Ironwood a remote control. - My son! His Semblance... - The pain was getting worse and he could hardly speak. - You can stop it with this…! - He finally collapsed and passed out.
- What are you talking about anyway?! - Qrow shrugged.
- His son, - Glynda remembered. - Lance Monroe, a student at the academy.
- I met him, he's Ruby's friend. – Qrow remembered him as well.
- Captain of the team LLMM. - It was familiar to Ironwood as well.
- Anyway, what happened with him? – Qrow would have liked Chad to explain, although considering his condition, there's not much of a chance.

- Well, that's the plan. – Qrow already slipped the remote control into his pocket and ran towards Beacon.
- THIS COULD HAVE BEEN OUR DAY! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?! – Adam yelled as he sent Blake to the ground, who was weakly trying to stand up.
- I never wanted this! - She stood up and grabbed Gumbo Shroud again. - I wanted equality! Peace! - She opened fire but Adam defended it with Wilt.
- What you want is impossible! – As he absorbed the power of Blake's projectiles, his body began to glow red, making him stronger and he slapped Blake, causing her to fall to the ground. - But I got it because all I wanted was you, Blake. - Blake raised her pistol-turned katana again but Adam kicked it out of her hand and forced her to the ground hard. - And as I said, I will sacrifice anything to achieve and execute the justice on humanity that has been served for so long! - He knelt next to her and began to whisper menacingly. - Also, I will make it my mission to destroy and break everything and everyone you love.
- Blake!? - Yang's voice was heard in the distance, both of them and Adam turned in the direction of the voice. Outside the window, they saw Yang beating some White Fang soldiers. - Blake, where are you?! - Adam looked back at Blake and saw that panic had appeared on her face, she was clearly worried about the blonde girl. - Starting with her.
Adam pulled Wilt forward and stabbed Blake in her lower body, causing her to scream. Yang heard it and ran in the direction of the sound. Adam pulled the sword out of her and smiled evilly at Yang.
- GET AWAY FROM HER! - She got angry and her eyes turned red.
- Don't… - Blake weakly tried to stop her friend because she knew well what Adam was planning. - please…
Adam put Wilt away but still had his hand on the handle. Flames appeared around Yang, she lost her mind, roared and charged at Adam but this was exactly what he was waiting for. It took a single blink of an eye and only a single flash was visible from the whole thing but a yellow light appeared around Yang's body for a moment, which meant her aura was draining, red blood was dripping from her and her right arm was detached from her body. She fell helplessly to the ground and fainted.
Adam splashed Yang's blood off his sword with a single swipe and moved towards her to finish the job and execute the hot-headed, unconscious girl. Blake, albeit weakly, stood in his way and her eyes radiated full determination that he could only get to Yang through her body. Adam just stared in silence, the girl he loved more than anything, now staring at him with such hateful eyes and protecting those he considers sworn enemies.
- Why do you have to hurt me like this, Blake? – He finally spoke but got no answer. He raised Wilt to finish off Blake, he wanted to give him a clean death but it was only a shadow clone and she and Yang was gone.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Blake running through the ruins carrying the wounded Yang. Adam's mind was completely overwhelmed by anger, he saw all red and in the blink of an eye cut down a Grimm that was attacking him.
As soon as he got out of the building, he roared angrily and charged at a pack of Grimm. He didn't think, he just crushed the creatures but that wasn't enough for him. He went on a full rampage, cutting down everything in his path, killing 8 Atlas soldiers, 4 Vale soldiers, 12 robots and 3 of his own people whose only crime was daring to talk to him.
He went completely berserk and became a rampaging killing machine.
