Ch 30 The Aftermath
"What an interesting turn of events…the young master has Summoned a Servant of his own," Holmes commented, standing next to his master being gathered by them. "This surely solidified his position as heir of Chaldea." He commented.
Moriarty chuckles at what his Pupil did. "Many Servants, who were against the young master, being the next master of Chaldea may have their opinions change now that he Summoned his own Servant." The Ruler stated, looking at his master.
Koyanskaya scoffs, organizing the paperwork for other items for later while listening in to the conversation. "That would be a surprise. But I doubt that," The Alter Ego said, having a different thought. "I bet now that the young master Summoned a Servant, those who oppose him will test the capacity of a master."
"After all, he lacks the experience that Fujimaru has been through," Koyanskaya added, turning to Ritsuka who was thinking of the situation with his Son. "I have an idea, why not we reenact the Singularities and Lostbelts to tes-"
"Koyanskaya, my Son won't be doing that. I'm not going to let him experience what I experienced during those times." Ritsuka said, knowing how the experience will affect a Person, especially a Kid like Harry.
"Ritsuka is right, Harry-kun is still a Kid, Koyanskaya-san." Mashu took her Husband's stance, "If the Servants want to test Harry-kun then it'll be in the Simulator with Zhou Yu-san."
Kadoc enters the room with Anastasia and Kieri after explaining things to both Sirius and Remus. "Well, I was surprised that they accepted what happened earlier." The white-haired Magus said, sitting down on an empty chair. "Good thing Goldolf decided not to tell the Association about what happened. They'll have a field day once they learn the Wizard's Messiah Summoned a Servant."
Mashu looks at the three, coming into the room. "Kadoc-kun, how did Black-san and Lupin-san take it?" The former Demi-Servant asked the director of the Russian Branch.
"What do you think? They need a bit more time to process what happened." Kadoc said, responding to the violet-haired Woman.
Anastasia smiles, correcting how her former master worded the response. "Master Kadoc meant to say that your Father and Uncle, master, Mashu need time to understand what the young master did back on the Field." The Lostbelt Servant said,
Holmes ponders, looking at the three who just entered the room. "Father Kotomine, director Zemlupus, what does the expression on our two Guests have on their faces?" The Ruler asked.
"As director Kadoc and Lady Anastasia said, but to make it simpler; they seem to be in a daze," Kieri said, placing his hand on his chin. "I can go and check again if you wish, Mr. Holmes."
"No, better not," Holmes said, denying the offer that the Alter Ego made.
"Holmes is right," Ritsuka looks at Kieri Rasputin, smiling at him. "Even if I still have unresolved issues with my Father, Kieri; I rather not have him traumatized by your line of questioning."
Kieri merely chuckled, looking at his master accepting that logic. "Very well, my master." The Priest responded,
Ritsuka sighs, asking another thing relating to their conversation. "Speaking about something, how's Harry and his new Servant?" He asked,
Kadoc raised his head, answering Ritsuka's question. "The Boy is with his Servant, surprisingly Harry is not as shocked as before." He chuckles, remembering leaving his Nephew in a studious mood with Zhou Yu. "In fact, he's pretty much Bonding with his Servant as we speak."
Ritsuka nodded, getting up from his desk, and headed to the door. "Master, where are you going?" Moriarty asked his master,
"First, I'm going to check on my Father and Uncle; then I'm going to see how Harry is doing," Ritsuka said, informing his Servants and Friend of his plan. "Also, Moriarty we're going to leave the next Day and-"
"Right," The other Ruler sat up from the chair, knowing what to do. "I'll prepare the lesson plans for the young master when we depart for the Americas," Moriarty said, leaving the office with his master.
"And I'll do the reports to both the UN and Association," Kadoc said, exchanging seats with the master of Chaldea and himself.
Mashu and Holmes followed Ritsuka, leaving Kadoc and the others with their work. The three went to Sirius and Remus first, checking up with them.
"Otto-san, Mr. Lupin," Ritsuka entered the room, seeing one of the Staff serving them hot chocolate to warm them up.
The two Wizards looked up, seeing Ritsuka entering the room. "Ritsuka, you're already done with your work?" Sirius asked, looking at his Son.
"Yes, but that's not what I came here for," Ritsuka said, prepared for anything the two might ask him.
"I see, so you wanted to check up on us after what Harry did and what we saw," Sirius said, understanding why his Son visited. He's not disappointed, he expected that much since Ritsuka was still on the job then.
Remus placed down his cup, turning to Ritsuka. "What exactly happened back there? It's like we've been transported to another place of fire and war." The Werewolf stated.
Holmes cleared his throat, answering the Wizard's question. "What you two witnessed is what we call a Reality Marble. The mental landscape or World in one Person's mind being projected by said Person." The Ruler explains to the two in a simple terms to the two.
"A Person's mental landscape being projected to reality?" Remus commented, shocked and impressed by how different and unique Magic his Nephew and the People under him possess. "That's impressive, it seems I got so much to learn about Magic than what they taught in Hogwarts." The Werewolf commented,
"Black-san, Lupin-san, it seems you two were okay with this," Mashu said, taking note of their calm demeanor.
Sirius looks at his Daughter-in-law, answering her question. "Well, consider that Ritsuka running an Organization with unique Magic and different People who can rival Wizard-no, Humans. We decided to keep our minds open." The shaggy-haired Wizard said, "Even though we don't understand."
Holmes nodded, hearing their reasons. "Hmm, an open mind. In any case, I'm glad we can have an understanding here." The Detective said,
"Ritsuka, Ruler, how's Harry? That…Reality Marble must've spooked him," Sirius asked, worried about his Godson, knowing he was at the center of it all.
Ritsuka looks at Mashu then the Couple smiles before looking at the shaggy-haired Wizard and the Wizard. "He's doing surprisingly good. If you want, we can show you how Harry's doing." Ritsuka offered to which the two obliged.
In another room, Harry was talking to his Servant, Zhou Yu. "You're really Zhou Yu from the Sun Clan?" Harry asked his Servant.
"Indeed master, I'm a bit surprised to see someone of your Age to know about me." Zhou Yu said, looking at his master.
Harry smiles, answering the Archer Servant. "I read up a bit on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms after meeting Red Hare in France. Professor M. gave me some People from that time to read about." The young Heir of Chaldea said to his Servant.
Zhou Yu blinks, recognizing that Name. "Red Hare? Do you mean to say Lu Bu Fengxian's Horse is here?" The Archer asked, "Well, I assume Lu Bu is a Rider Servant here in Chaldea if Red Hare is here too."
"I'm afraid you're wrong on that account, Zhou Yu." Da Vinci spoke, working on something in the Russian Branch's Workshop. "Lu Bu is a Berserker here in Chaldea and Red Hare manifests as a Rider."
"So they materialized into two separate Servants…" Zhou Yu ponders on the two Servants before the Renaissance Woman spoke.
"Best not to question it, here in Chaldea it's best not to understand some things." The Rider Servant said, finishing up with her little project. "Alright! I'm finished, Harry-kun can you come here please?" Da Vinci asked, calling over to the young Heir.
Harry nodded, walking over to Da Vinci as he leaned over her Bench. "What is it, Da Vinci?" He asked, tilting his head at Chaldea's Technical Head.
Da Vinci showed Harry a Watch similar to Ritsuka's Spirit Origins Watch. It was white with the Chaldea Logo instead of a small clock.
Harry was in awe of the Watch, looking at Da Vinci with some questions. "Da Vinci, what is this? It looks like the one Daddy has," He commented.
"Well it is," Da Vinci confirms what the young master thought. "Since you Summoned your first Servant; I figured a little congratulation gift should solidify this occasion." The Rider explains to the young master.
Harry blinks, unsure what Da Vinci said. "Huh?"
"Da Vinci, was it?" Zhou Yu asked, knowing that Name from the Throne of Heroes. "What exactly does this Wath do for my master?" The Archer asked.
Da Vinci smiles, answering the question. "Simple, this Watch is connected to Fujimaru-kun's Spirit Origins Watch. In short, it's a relay that allows Harry-kun to Summon Servants from Chaldea to his aid if needed."
Harry seems to understand what the Inventor is saying. "So, I can Summon other Servants from wherever they might be in Chaldea?" He asked,
"That's right, Zhou Yu here is an Archer. He can do long-range support," Da Vinci said, looking at the grey-haired Servant. "If any situation requires close combat, you can call anyone to assist you wherever you're at, Harry-kun. Though, you do need to be careful."
"A Mystic Code like this requires a lot of Magical Energy. I suggest calling one Servant to assist you a Day or look for a large Leyline to Summon…at least three." Da Vinci listed the conditions Harry must follow to even use the Watch.
Harry smiles, understanding the conditions to even use the Watch. "I understand, Da Vinci."
Zhou Yu looks at the Rider, "I'll make sure master doesn't overexert himself in doing so."
"Of course, he's still a Child after all." Da Vinci said before noting the pout on Harry's face.
"I'm not a Kid you know, I'm Nine!" Harry retorted, causing both to laugh.
Outside the room, Ritsuka and the others observe the conversation between the three. After hearing what Harry said, he has some concerns he needs to address. "Wow," He snaps back into reality, looking at his Father and Uncle.
"Harry must been quite used to that guy if he's talking comfortably with him," Sirius said, hearing what the Servants and Godson said.
Mashu smiles, looking at her Father-in-law. "We did something similar in France, Harry-kun has seen a lot of Servants, so it's natural he's used to their company." The former Demi-Servant said.
Remus agrees if any Child is greatly impressionable, they tend to stick around to the People who made an impression on them.
Sirius smiles before turning to Ritsuka, "Ritsuka, do you intend to stay in Russia?" He asked his Son.
"No, in fact, we'll be leaving for the Americas. We have another Outpost that I need to check up with." Ritsuka explains to his Father, looking at him with a question in his mind. "Are you going there too?"
Sirius looks at Remus before answering the question. "Unfortunately, I mean no offense but since your Servants took us prisoner, we failed to report our whereabouts to Albus," Remus explains to the Chaldeans.
"Albus? As in Albus Dumbledore, right?" Mashu asked, knowing that name on the Watchlist the Association sent.
"That's right, the reason why I was released and we were sent outside of Britain is because of him," Sirius explains to the two. "As you two were aware we were sent to see where Harry is and take him back to him. But seeing that Harry is in safe hands, we decided to forgo what we're meant to do."
The Werewolf nodded, "That's right, all we want is for Harry to be safe and he is. But Dumbledore will see it as another way." Remus said, warning Ritsuka and Mashu about Dumbledore and his tricks.
Ritsuka nodded, knowing that much to be careful around this Dumbledore Person. "So, what do you intend to do?" He asked the two.
"Mainly, just try and act natural," Remus answered, already discuss this with Sirius.
"We'll just say that Harry is difficult to track and unable to reach," Sirius said, informing them what their plan was. "I just hope he buys it."
Ritsuka nodded, understanding them and hoping their plan worked out in the end. "I do too," He said, hoping things work out in the Future.
The next Day, Harry held onto Oberon in his Recon Form as they got ready to depart for America. Fou as usual sat on his shoulders, watching the Staff load some supplies onto the Shadow Border.
Harry took notice of the many Tech Supplies they were bringing with them. He looks around, seeing some worried expression.
"I do hope that thing won't wake up, whatever he did in the Valley isn't good for sure." One Staff member spoke to the other, clearly accompanying them to the American Branch of Chaldea.
"Hey don't jinx it! We're just there to monitor the Valley and meet up with director Quahog." The other Staff scolded her for speaking ill about where they were going.
Harry could hear the many Staff speaking about what lies in America. "Oberon, what's in the American Branch?" He asked the little Pretender.
Oberon looks up at the Heir of Chaldea, "Well, for starters; we're not going directly to the American Branch. The Branch director has set up a Base in the Amazon right outside of what we of Chaldea and the Mages Association call the Crystal Valley."
"Crystal Valley? Is it a valley filled with Crystals?" Harry asked, taking the name of the Valley as a clue.
"Fou, Fou." Fou shook his head, indicating Harry had it part right.
Zhou Yu stood next to Harry, having learned what was happening from Da Vinci last night. "Not quite master, the Crystal Valley is said to be a dangerous place. It's filled with Crystaline objects that are said to be cold and hot at the same time. What lies in the Valley, nobody dares to enter."
Harry looks at his Servant, surprised to hear that there's a place that is hot and cold at the same time. "If it's dangerous, how come we're going there?" He asked, a bit scared from what the Archer said.
"We're not directly going inside the Valley. We're just at the outskirts while the specialized drones hover and observe within there." Moriarty approaches the young master, "Worry not young master, think of it as a simple check-up in South America."
Moriarty smiles, "Plus, your next lesson is about the area we're going and the Central American creation Myth." He explains, having all lessons planned out for today.
"Really?" Harry smiles, excited about the lesson from the Crime Lord.
The Ruler nodded, "Of course, now go to your Father and Mother. They're saying their goodbyes to your Uncle Kadoc and your other Uncles."
Harry nodded, heading to find his Father and Mother, just as Moriarty asked him to.
Ritsuka stood before Sirius and Remus, "Are you two sure you don't want to come with us? It's much better than having Dumbledore breathing down your necks when you get back." The Magus of Chaldea said, giving his Father and Uncle one last chance to come.
"As much as we want to, we have to keep an eye on Dumbledore and ensure that he doesn't send anyone to a Deathtrap." Sirius jokes, knowing that Ritsuka won't stop at anything to keep his Godson safe. "Even though I'm against it, I understand how the Aurors work and their…workings."
Remus nodded, lifting a necklace crafted by Da Vinci and Tonelico for them. "We'll keep in touch if anything happens in the Wizarding Side regarding you all and Harry." He said, "I do hope someday we'll meet again,"
"Of course we will, Lupin-san. You're Harry-kun's Uncles/Godfathers. We see each other soon." Mashu said, being optimistic about meeting again.
Kadoc scoffs, crossing his arms. "Yeah, that is if we don't catch you snooping around Chaldea restricted Areas in Britain." He commented with a smile,
Anastasia nudges her former master for making that joke. "Master Kadoc, that's not right." She said, scolding him.
The group laughs before noticing Harry approaching them. "A-Are you two really leaving?" Harry asked his Uncles.
Sirius gave a soft expression, kneeling to the young Boy's level. "We have to, we've been…off the loop and missed a few days of reporting to a very important Man, Pup." He explains, reaching out his hands and ruffling his hair. "Don't look so glum, Harry. On your next Birthday, both me and Uncle Remmy will be there to celebrate or any occasion."
"That's right, Cub," Remus said, smiling down at Harry. "We'll meet again soon. Until then, listen to your Father and Mother, or any Adults that are with you in the Americas."
Harry nodded, smiling at his Uncles. "I will, it was nice to meet you two." He said before turning to his Uncle Kadoc.
Kadoc cleared his throat, not good with Kids. "So, it was nice to meet you, Kid. Be sure to listen to your Father and Mother…and stay away from anything Crystally in South America." The white-haired Magus said, advising what Harry should be aware of.
"I will," Harry placed down Oberon before hugging Kadoc. "I'll miss you, Uncle Kadoc."
Kadoc blinked in surprise, patting Harry's head in response. "Y-Yeah, me too Kid." He said, blushing embarrassingly.
The young Heir proceeded to hug Sirius and Remus as both his Parents and the others made their way to the Shadow Border.
Ritsuka placed his hand on his Son's head, prompting him to look up. "Ready, Bud?"
Harry nodded, ready to go to America. "Yeah! I'm ready, Daddy!" He exclaims as they go inside the Shadow Border.
South America, Outskirts of the Crytal Valley
In a Campsite, many Chaldean Magus and Researchers were checking the instruments for anything out of sorts in the Valley. Samuel Quahog was overseeing the preparations for the specialized drones they were about to send out soon.
Within a tent, a long blonde-haired Man in modern clothing checks his guns before hearing someone coming in. "Hmm? What is it, Bluebird?" The Man was Tezcatlipoca, the Aztec God of Night and Sorcery better known as the Black Tezcatlipoca the Second Grand Assassin. "Is there some activity in the Valley- oh, it's you."
Tezcatlipoca frowns at his other self, the Blue Tezcatlipoca or the Dinosaur King entering his tent. "What do you want, small fry?" He asked his other aspect of himself.
"Still sulking that master has an Heir to the throne?" The Dinosaur King asked, before ultimately ignoring his other aspect's personal feelings towards the Heir. The Grand Servant clearly was on the side where Harry shouldn't be the next Chaldean master, nearly every Servant in American Branch is opposed to the Wizard Boy being the Heir.
To say the least, the Dinosaur King, Camazotz, Nitocris Alter, and Nightingale are on the natural side. The rest are all for Harry to be the next master of Chaldea.
Blue Tezcatlipoca looked at his other self, having something to inform him. "Anyways, you better straighten yourself up, me. Master is coming real soon, and he's bringing his Kid." The Dinosaur King raised his hand, turning around to the outside. "Just a heads up if you catch my drift, Tez."
The Grand Assassin frowns, locking his gun then places it in his holster. "So master is bringing the Kid with him after all. Let's see if he got the stomach of what Chaldea is about." Tezcatlipoca smirks, walking out to welcome their master to South America.
